The production of effective drugs has continuously been a challenging process for researchers due to the occurrence of resistive diseases. Drugs derived from natural product-based compounds as an active scaffold have gained interest in drug development due to a wide range of biological properties. Benzoheterodiazepines, a natural product derivative of bicyclic chalcones have been widely reported with various therapeutic potentials. This review discusses current synthetic methods in the preparation of benzoheterodiazepine derivatives (i.e., homocyclic benzoheterodiazepine, heterocyclic benzoheterodiazepine, bis-benzoheterodiazepine, and fused benzoheterodiazepine) via two-pot and one-pot synthetic routes. Several reaction protocols following both synthetic routes have been developed for efficient and higher yields that offer access to different functionalization of benzoheterodiazepines are comprehensively described. This review is important in the heterocyclic chemistry of benzoheterodiazepines and pharmacological industries in drug development processes.  相似文献

Vinylpyrazoles, also known as pyrazolyl olefins, are interesting motifs in organic chemistry but have been overlooked. This review describes the properties and synthetic routes of vinylpyrazoles and highlights their versatility as building blocks for the construction of more complex organic molecules. Concerning the reactivity of vinylpyrazoles, the topics surveyed herein include their use in cycloaddition reactions, free-radical polymerizations, halogenation and hydrohalogenation reactions, and more recently in transition-metal-catalyzed reactions, among other transformations. The current state of the art about vinylpyrazoles is presented with an eye to future developments regarding the chemistry of these interesting compounds. Styrylpyrazoles were not considered in this review, as they were the subject of a previous review article published in 2020.  相似文献

Interest in the chemistry of ferrocene remains intense, largely due to applications within catalysis. New synthetic routes to unsymmetrical ferrocene ligands have provided another facet to this area, as substituents can be designed to be electronically- and/or sterically-distinct in order to affect the environment around the catalytically-active metal centre. This critical review provides a concise summary of the synthetic routes that have been applied to the synthesis of unsymmetrical ferrocene ligands, along with a systematic survey of the applications of these ligands in homogeneous catalysis. The aim is to help the reader select a suitable ferrocenediyl ligand for a particular synthetic application, and in the synthesis of ligands that require particular structural and/or electronic features.  相似文献

This report describes the synthesis and an application of a new planar-chiral Lewis acid based on a 1,2-azaborolyl framework. The enantiopure complex is generated through an intriguing kinetic resolution by a chiral nucleophile. Imines bind in excellent yield to the planar-chiral 1,2-azaborolyl, furnishing crystallographically characterizable adducts that adopt the conformation that had been anticipated on the basis of steric considerations. Nucleophiles add with high stereoselectivity to these complexes, with the predicted sense of asymmetric induction.  相似文献

Even though several quinazolinone derivatives have been synthesized, still there is a constant demand for designing and synthesis of new quinazolinone derivatives by fine-tuning the electronic and steric properties of substituents due to their interesting structure-based biological utilities and the versatile chemistry.
