We present a simple proof of the resolvent estimates of elliptic Fourier multipliers on the Euclidean space, and apply them to the analysis of time-global and spatially-local smoothing estimates of a class of dispersive equations. For this purpose we study in detail the properties of the restriction of Fourier transform on the unit cotangent sphere associated with the symbols of multipliers. We develop a method for automatically symmetrizing Petrowsky well-posed Cauchy problems for constant coefficient linear partial differential equations. The method is rooted in the Sturm sequence technique for establishing the location of the roots of a complex polynomial and can be automated using standard symbolic computation tools. In the special case of homogeneous strictly hyperbolic scalar equations, we show that the resulting estimates are strong enough to control all principal order derivatives and thus can be used in place of the Leray energies. We also illustrate the method by applying it to various problems of mixed type.  相似文献

We prove global smoothing and Strichartz estimates for the Schrödinger, wave, Klein–Gordon equations and for the massless and massive Dirac systems, perturbed with singular electromagnetic potentials. We perform the spectral analysis of a zero temperature Pauli-Fierz system for small coupling constants. Under the hypothesis of Fermi golden rule, we show that the embedded eigenvalues of the uncoupled system disappear and establish a limiting absorption principle above this level of energy. We rely on a positive commutator approach introduced by Skibsted and pursued by Georgescu-Gérard-Møller. We complete some results obtained so far by Dereziński-Jakši? on one side and by Bach-Fröhlich-Sigal-Soffer on the other side.  相似文献

We will accomplish the exact limits for all order derivatives of the global weak solutions to a two-dimensional incompressible dissipative quasi-geostrophic equation. We will also establish the improved decay estimates with sharp rates for all order derivatives. We will consider two cases for the initial function and the external force and prove the optimal results for both cases. We will couple together existing ideas (including the Fourier transformation and its properties, Parseval''s identity, iteration technique, Lebesgue''s dominated convergence theorem, Gagliardo-Nirenberg-Sobolev interpolation inequality, squeeze theorem, Cauchy-Schwartz''s inequality, etc) existing results (the existence of global weak solutions, the existence of local smooth solution on $(T,\infty)$ and the elementary decay estimate with a sharp rate) and a few novel ideas to obtain the main results.  相似文献

First of all, the author accomplishes the exact limits for all order derivatives of the global weak solutions of the $n$-dimensional incompressible magnetohydrodynamics equations, the $n$-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equations and the two-dimensional incompressible dissipative quasi-geostrophic equation. Secondly, by making use of the exact limits, he establishes the improved decay estimates with sharp rates for all order derivatives of the global weak solutions, for all sufficiently large $t$. 本文研究了高阶波动方程的低能量散射理论,基本工具是高阶线性波动方程解的时空估计.与经典的二阶波动方程解的时空估计证明不同,我们采用泛函分析的方法与待定指标技巧,首次给出了高阶线性波动方程的时空估计,藉此与非线性函数在齐次Sobolev空间中的估计,获得了高阶波动方程的低能量散射结论.与此同时,也得到了具临界增长的高阶波动方程的柯西问题在低能量条件下的整体存在唯一性.  相似文献
