This paper is concerned with a class of periodic degenerate parabolic system with time delays in a bounded domain under mixed boundary condition. Under locally Lipschitz condition on reaction functions, we apply Schauder fixed point theorem to obtain the existence of periodic solutions of the periodic problem. With quasi-monotonicity in addition, we also show that the periodic problem has a maximal and a minimal periodic solutions. Applications of the obtained results are also given to some nonlinear diffusion models arising from ecology.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to study the continuity of weak solutions for quasilinear degenerate parabolic equations of the form U_t-Δφ(u)=O, whereφ■C~1(R~1)is a strictly monotone increasing function.Clearly,the above equation has strong degeneracy,i.e.,the set of zero points ofφ′(·)is permitted to have zero measure. We consider a system of two degenerate parabolic equations with nonlocal terms and Dirichlet boundary conditions. More precisely, the degeneracy in each equation of the system is of the type r(x)-Laplacian where r(x) is a function depending on xΩ, where Ω is a bounded smooth domain of Rn. The system models the diffusion and the interaction between two different biological species sharing the same territory Ω. The paper provides conditions on the parameters of the problem that guarantee the coexistence of a T-periodic non-negative solution (u,v) with both non-trivial u,v.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with viscosity solutions for a class of degenerate quasilinear parabolic equations in a bounded domain with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition. The equation under consideration arises from a number of practical model problems including reaction–diffusion processes in a porous medium. The degeneracy of the problem appears on the boundary and possibly in the interior of the domain. The goal of this paper is to establish some comparison properties between viscosity upper and lower solutions and to show the existence of a continuous viscosity solution between them. An application of the above results is given to a porous-medium type of reaction–diffusion model which demonstrates some distinctive properties of the solution when compared with the corresponding semilinear problem.  相似文献

This article proves the existence of solutions to a model of incompressible miscible displacement through a porous medium, with zero molecular diffusion and modelling wells by spatial measures. We obtain the solution by passing to the limit on problems indexed by vanishing molecular diffusion coefficients. The proof employs cutoff functions to excise the supports of the measures and the discontinuities in the permeability tensor, thus enabling compensated compactness arguments used by Y. Amirat and A. Ziani for the analysis of the problem with L2 wells (Amirat and Ziani, 2004 [1]). We give a novel treatment of the diffusion–dispersion term, which requires delicate use of the Aubin–Simon lemma to ensure the strong convergence of the pressure gradient, owing to the troublesome lower-order terms introduced by the localisation procedure.  相似文献
