We study algebra classes and divisor classes on a normal affine surface of the form z 2 = f(x, y). The affine coordinate ring is T = k[x, y, z]/(z 2 ? f), and if R = k[x, y][f ?1] and S = R[z]/(z 2 ? f), then S is a quadratic Galois extension of R. If the Galois group is G, we show that the natural map H1(G, Cl(T)) → H1(G, Pic(S)) factors through the relative Brauer group B(S/R) and that all of the maps are onto. Sufficient conditions are given for H1(G, Cl(T)) to be isomorphic to B(S/R). The groups and maps are computed for several examples.  相似文献

Abstract

By using the white noise theory for a fractional Brownian sheet, we derive an Itô formula for the generalized functionals for the fractional Brownian sheet with arbitrary Hurst parameters H 1, H 2 ∈ (0,1). Abstract

A Wick-Itô formula for Gaussian processes is obtained. This is a change of variables formula, which is to Wick-Itô integrals what the usual Itô formula is to Itô integrals. The conditions are weak enough to allow processes with infinite quadratic variation. They are satisfied by fractional Brownian motion with parameter 1/4 < H < 1.  相似文献

We consider the Aharonov–Bohm effect for the Schrödinger operator H = (?i? x  ? A(x))2 + V(x) and the related inverse problem in an exterior domain Ω in R 2 with Dirichlet boundary condition. We study the structure and asymptotics of generalized eigenfunctions and show that the scattering operator determines the domain Ω and H up to gauge equivalence under the equal flux condition. We also show that the flux is determined by the scattering operator if the obstacle Ω c is convex.  相似文献

We prove local smoothing estimates for the Schrödinger initial value problem with data in the energy space L 2(? d ), d ≥ 2 and a general class of potentials. In the repulsive setting we have to assume just a power like decay (1 + |x|) for some γ > 0. Also attractive perturbations are considered. The estimates hold for all time and as a consequence a weak dispersion of the solution is obtained. The proofs are based on similar estimates for the corresponding stationary Helmholtz equation and Kato H-smooth theory.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group. A subgroup H of G is called an ?-subgroup in G if N G (H) ∩ H x  ≤ H for all x ∈ G. A subgroup H of G is called weakly ?-subgroup in G if there exists a normal subgroup K of G such that G = HK and HK is an ?-subgroup in G. In this article, we investigate the structure of the finite group G under the assumption that all maximal subgroups of every Sylow subgroup of some normal subgroup of G are weakly ?-subgroups in G. An approximation Ansatz for the operator solution, U(z′,z), of a hyperbolic first-order pseudodifferential equation, ? z  + a(z,x,D x ) with Re (a) ≥ 0, is constructed as the composition of global Fourier integral operators with complex phases. An estimate of the operator norm in L(H (s),H (s)) of these operators is provided, which yields a convergence result for the Ansatz to U(z′,z) in some Sobolev space as the number of operators in the composition goes to ∞.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Let k be a field, char k ≠ 2, F = k(x), D a biquaternion division algebra over k, and σ an orthogonal involution on D with nontrivial discriminant. We show that there exists a quadratic form ? ∈ I 2(F) such that dim ? = 8, [C(?)] = [D], and ? does not decompose into a direct sum of two forms similar to two-fold Pfister forms. This implies in particular that the field extension F(D)/F is not excellent. Also we prove that if A is a central simple K-algebra of degree 8 with an orthogonal involution σ, then σ is hyperbolic if and only if σ K(A) is hyperbolic. Finally, let σ be a decomposable orthogonal involution on the algebra M 2 m (K). In the case m ≤ 5 we give another proof of the fact that σ is a Pfister involution. If m ≥ 2 n?2 ? 2 and n ≥ 5, we show that q σ ∈ I n (K), where q σ is a quadratic form corresponding to σ. The last statement is founded on a deep result of Orlov et al. We establish the existence and uniqueness of solutions of fully nonlinear elliptic second-order equations like H(v, Dv, D 2 v, x) = 0 in smooth domains without requiring H to be convex or concave with respect to the second-order derivatives. Apart from ellipticity nothing is required of H at points at which |D 2 v| ≤K, where K is any given constant. For large |D 2 v| some kind of relaxed convexity assumption with respect to D 2 v mixed with a VMO condition with respect to x are still imposed. A weak Cayley table isomorphism is a bijection φ: G → H of groups such that φ(xy) ~ φ(x)φ(y) for all x, y ∈ G. Here ~denotes conjugacy. When G = H the set of all weak Cayley table isomorphisms φ: G → G forms a group 𝒲(G) that contains the automorphism group Aut(G) and the inverse map I: G → G, x → x ?1. Let 𝒲0(G) = ?Aut(G), I? ≤ 𝒲(G) and say that G has trivial weak Cayley table group if 𝒲(G) = 𝒲0(G). We show that all finite irreducible Coxeter groups (except possibly E 8) have trivial weak Cayley table group, as well as most alternating groups. A principal right ideal of a ring is called uniquely generated if any two elements of the ring that generate the same principal right ideal must be right associated (i.e., if for all a,b in a ring R, aR = bR implies a = bu for some unit u of R). In the present paper, we study “uniquely generated modules” as a module theoretic version of “uniquely generated ideals,” and we obtain a characterization of a unit-regular endomorphism ring of a module in terms of certain uniquely generated submodules of the module among some other results: End(M) is unit-regular if and only if End(M) is regular and all M-cyclic submodules of a right R-module M are uniquely generated. We also consider the questions of when an arbitrary element of a ring is associated to an element with a certain property. For example, we consider this question for the ring R[x;σ]∕(xn+1), where R is a strongly regular ring with an endomorphism σ be an endomorphism of R.  相似文献
