We present a numerical scheme for modeling the electric field in the media with tensor conductivity. This scheme is based on vector finite element method in frequency domain. The numerical computations of the electric field in the anisotropic medium are done. The conductivity of the anisotropic medium is positive defined dense tensor in general case. We consider the electric field from anisotropic layer, inclined anisotropic layer and some anisotropic objects in isotropic half-space.  相似文献

By employing $EQ_1^{rot}$ nonconforming finite element, the numerical approximation is presented for multi-term time-fractional mixed sub-diffusion and diffusion-wave equation on anisotropic meshes. Comparing with the multi-term time-fractional sub-diffusion equation or diffusion-wave equation, the mixed case contains a special time-space coupled derivative, which leads to many difficulties in numerical analysis. Firstly, a fully discrete scheme is established by using nonconforming finite element method (FEM) in spatial direction and L1 approximation coupled with Crank-Nicolson (L1-CN) scheme in temporal direction. Furthermore, the fully discrete scheme is proved to be unconditional stable. Besides, convergence and superclose results are derived by using the properties of $EQ_1^{rot}$ nonconforming finite element. What's more, the global superconvergence is obtained via the interpolation postprocessing technique. Finally, several numerical results are provided to demonstrate the theoretical analysis on anisotropic meshes.  相似文献

In this paper we present a systematic way of computing the polarization tensors, anisotropic as well as isotropic, based on the boundary integral method. We then use this method to compute the anisotropic polarization tensor for ellipses and ellipsoids. The computation reveals the pair of anisotropy and ellipses which produce the same polarization tensors.  相似文献

In this paper we prove error estimates for a piecewise average interpolation on anisotropic rectangular elements, i.e., rectangles with sides of different orders, in two and three dimensions.

Our error estimates are valid under the condition that neighboring elements have comparable size. This is a very mild assumption that includes more general meshes than those allowed in previous papers. In particular, strong anisotropic meshes arising naturally in the approximation of problems with boundary layers fall under our hypotheses.

Moreover, we generalize the error estimates allowing on the right-hand side some weighted Sobolev norms. This extension is of interest in singularly perturbed problems.

Finally, we consider the approximation of functions vanishing on the boundary by finite element functions with the same property, a point that was not considered in previous papers on average interpolations for anisotropic elements.

As an application we consider the approximation of a singularly perturbed reaction-diffusion equation and show that, as a consequence of our results, almost optimal order error estimates in the energy norm, valid uniformly in the perturbation parameter, can be obtained.

We introduce a new strategy for controlling the use of anisotropic mesh refinement based upon the gradients of an a posteriori approximation of the error in a computed finite element solution. In this paper we are concerned with a new class of anisotropic quasilinear elliptic equations with a power-like variable reaction term. One of the main features of our work is that the differential operator involves partial derivatives with different variable exponents, so that the functional-analytic framework relies upon anisotropic Sobolev and Lebesgue spaces. Existence and nonexistence results are deeply influenced by the competition between the growth rates of the anisotropic coefficients. Our main results point out some striking phenomena related to the existence of a continuous spectrum in several distinct situations.  相似文献

The function $g(x,u,\nabla u)$ is a nonlinear lower order term with natural growth with respect to $|\nabla u|$, satisfying the sign condition and the datum $f$ belongs to $L^1(\Omega)$.  相似文献

In this paper we derive a discretisation of the equation of quasi-static elasticity in homogenization in form of a variational formulation and the so-called Lippmann–Schwinger equation, in anisotropic spaces of translates of periodic functions. We unify and extend the truncated Fourier series approach, the constant finite element ansatz and the anisotropic lattice derivation. The resulting formulation of the Lippmann–Schwinger equation in anisotropic translation invariant spaces unifies and analyses for the first time both the Fourier methods and finite element approaches in a common mathematical framework. We further define and characterize the resulting periodised Green operator. This operator coincides in case of a Dirichlet kernel corresponding to a diagonal matrix with the operator derived for the Galerkin projection stemming from the truncated Fourier series approach and to the anisotropic lattice derivation for all other Dirichlet kernels. Additionally, we proof the boundedness of the periodised Green operator. The operator further constitutes a projection if and only if the space of translates is generated by a Dirichlet kernel. Numerical examples for both de la Vallée Poussin means and Box splines illustrate the flexibility of this framework.  相似文献

The main aim of this paper is to study the superconvergence accuracy analysis of thefamous ACM's nonconforming finite element for biharmonic equation under anisotropicmeshes. By using some novel approaches and techniques, the optimal anisotropic inter-polation error and consistency error estimates are obtained. The global error is of orderO(h~2).
