The crystallographic defects inevitably incur during the solution processed organic‐inorganic hybrid perovskite film, especially at surface and the grain boundaries (GBs) of perovskite film, which can further result in the reduced cell performance and stability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Here, a simple defect passivation method was employed by treating perovskite precursor film with a hydrophobic tetra‐ammonium zinc phthalocyanine (ZnPc). The results demonstrated that a 2D‐3D graded perovskite interface with a capping layer of 2D (ZnPc)0.5MAn ? 1PbnI3n + 1 perovskite together with 3D MAPbI3 perovskite was successfully constructed on the top of 3D perovskite layer. This situation realized the efficient GBs passivation, thus reducing the defects in GBs. As expected, the corresponding PSCs with modified perovskite revealed an improved cell performance. The best efficiency reached 19.6%. Especially, the significantly enhanced long‐term stability of the responding PSCs against humidity and heating was remarkably achieved. Such a strategy in this work affords an efficient method to improve the stability of PSCs and thus probably brings the PSCs closer to practical commercialization.  相似文献

Low band gap tin-lead perovskite solar cells (Sn−Pb PSCs) are expected to achieve higher efficiencies than Pb-PSCs and regarded as key components of tandem PSCs. However, the realization of high efficiency is challenged by the instability of Sn2+ and the imperfections at the charge transfer interfaces. Here, we demonstrate an efficient ideal band gap formamidinium (FA)-based Sn−Pb (FAPb0.5Sn0.5I3) PSC, by manipulating the buried NiOx/perovskite interface with 4-hydroxyphenethyl ammonium halide (OH-PEAX, X=Cl, Br, or I) interlayer, which exhibits fascinating functions of reducing the surface defects of the NiOx hole transport layer (HTL), enhancing the perovskite film quality, and improving both the energy level matching and physical contact at the interface. The effects of different halide anions have been elaborated and a 20.53 % efficiency is obtained with OH-PEABr, which is the highest one for FA-based Sn−Pb PSCs using NiOx HTLs. Moreover, the device stability is also boosted.  相似文献

Metal-cation defects and halogen-anion defects in perovskite films are critical to the efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). In this work, a random polymer, poly(methyl methacrylate-co-acrylamide) (PMMA-AM), was synthesized to serve as an interfacial passivation layer for synergistically passivating the under-coordinated Pb2+ and anchor the I- of the [PbI6]4− octahedron. Additionally, the interfacial PMMA-AM passivation layer cannot be destroyed during the hole transport layer deposition because of its low solubility in chlorobenzene. This passivation leads to an enhancement in the open-circuit voltage from 1.12 to 1.22 V and improved stability in solar cell devices, with the device maintaining 95 % of the initial power conversion efficiency (PCE) over 1000 h of maximum power point tracking. Additionally, a large-area solar cell module was fabricated using this approach, achieving a PCE of 20.64 %.  相似文献

CH3NH3PbBr3 perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) are synthesized by using four different linear alkyl phosphonic acids (PAs) in conjunction with (3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane (APTES) as capping ligands. The resultant PQDs are characterized by means of XRD, TEM, Raman spectroscopy, FTIR spectroscopy, UV/Vis, photoluminescence (PL), time-resolved PL, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). PA chain length is shown to control the PQD size (ca. 2.9–4.2 nm) and excitonic absorption band positions (λ=488–525 nm), with shorter chain lengths corresponding to smaller sizes and bluer absorptions. All samples show a high PL quantum yield (ca. 46–83 %) and high PL stability; this is indicative of a low density of band gap trap states and effective surface passivation. Stability is higher for smaller PQDs; this is attributed to better passivation due to better solubility and less steric hindrance of the shorter PA ligands. Based on the FTIR, Raman, and XPS results, it is proposed that Pb2+ and CH3NH3+ surface defects are passivated by R−PO32− or R−PO2(OH), whereas Br surface defects are passivated by R−NH3+ moieties. This study establishes the combination of PA and APTES ligands as a highly effective dual passivation system for the synergistic passivation of multiple surface defects of PQDs through primarily ionic bonding.  相似文献

Passivating the interfaces between the perovskite and charge transport layers is crucial for enhancing the power conversion efficiency (PCE) and stability in perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Here we report a dual-interface engineering approach to improving the performance of FA0.85MA0.15Pb(I0.95Br0.05)3-based PSCs by incorporating Ti3C2Clx Nano-MXene and o-TB-GDY nanographdiyne (NanoGDY) into the electron transport layer (ETL)/perovskite and perovskite/ hole transport layer (HTL) interfaces, respectively. The dual-interface passivation simultaneously suppresses non-radiative recombination and promotes carrier extraction by forming the Pb−Cl chemical bond and strong coordination of π-electron conjugation with undercoordinated Pb defects. The resulting perovskite film has an ultralong carrier lifetime exceeding 10 μs and an enlarged crystal size exceeding 2.5 μm. A maximum PCE of 24.86 % is realized, with an open-circuit voltage of 1.20 V. Unencapsulated cells retain 92 % of their initial efficiency after 1464 hours in ambient air and 80 % after 1002 hours of thermal stability test at 85 °C.  相似文献

A family of perovskite light absorbers (NH4)3Sb2IxBr9−x (0≤x≤9) was prepared. These materials show good solubility in ethanol, a low-cost, hypotoxic, and environmentally friendly solvent. The light absorption of (NH4)3Sb2IxBr9−x films can be tuned by adjusting I and Br content. The absorption onset for (NH4)3Sb2IxBr9−x films changes from 558 nm to 453 nm as x changes from 9 to 0. (NH4)3Sb2I9 single crystals were prepared, exhibiting a hole mobility of 4.8 cm2 V−1 s−1 and an electron mobility of 12.3 cm2 V−1 s−1. (NH4)3Sb2I9 solar cells gave an open-circuit voltage of 1.03 V and a power conversion efficiency of 0.51 %.  相似文献

Halide-related surface defects on inorganic halide perovskite not only induce charge recombination but also severely limit the long-term stability of perovskite solar cells. Herein, adopting density functional theory calculation, we verify that iodine interstitials (Ii) has a low formation energy similar to that of the iodine vacancy (VI) and is also readily formed on the surface of all-inorganic perovskite, and it is regarded to function as an electron trap. We screen a specific 2,6-diaminopyridine (2,6-DAPy) passivator, which, with the aid of the combined effects from halogen-Npyridine and coordination bonds, not only successfully eliminates the Ii and dissociative I2 but also passivates the abundant VI. Furthermore, the two symmetric neighboring -NH2 groups interact with adjacent halides of the octahedral cluster by forming hydrogen bonds, which further promotes the adsorption of 2,6-DAPy molecules onto the perovskite surface. Such synergetic effects can significantly passivate harmful iodine-related defects and undercoordinated Pb2+, prolong carrier lifetimes and facilitate the interfacial hole transfer. Consequently, these merits enhance the power-conversion efficiency (PCE) from 19.6 % to 21.8 %, the highest value for this type of solar cells, just as importantly, the 2,6-DAPy-treated CsPbI3−xBrx films show better environmental stability.  相似文献

Two new electron‐rich molecules based on 3,4‐phenylenedioxythiophene (PheDOT) were synthesized and successfully adopted as hole‐transporting materials (HTMs) in perovskite solar cells (PSCs). X‐ray diffraction, absorption spectra, photoluminescence spectra, electrochemical properties, thermal stabilities, hole mobilities, conductivities, and photovoltaic parameters of PSCs based on these two HTMs were compared with each other. By introducing methoxy substituents into the main skeleton, the energy levels of PheDOT‐core HTM were tuned to match with the perovskite, and its hole mobility was also improved (1.33×10?4 cm2 V?1 s?1, being higher than that of spiro‐OMeTAD, 2.34×10?5 cm2 V?1 s?1). The PSC based on MeO‐PheDOT as HTM exhibits a short‐circuit current density (Jsc) of 18.31 mA cm?2, an open‐circuit potential (Voc) of 0.914 V, and a fill factor (FF) of 0.636, yielding an encouraging power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 10.64 % under AM 1.5G illumination. These results give some insight into how the molecular structures of HTMs affect their performances and pave the way for developing high‐efficiency and low‐cost HTMs for PSCs.  相似文献

Defect passivation is one of the important strategies to improve the efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cells. In this work, 2,6-di‑tert‑butyl‑4-methylphenol (BHT) as antioxidant was introduced into the perovskite precursor solution to improve the quality of the prepared perovskite films, so that these films performed a larger and uniform grain size. Moreover, the −OH functional group in BHT interacts with I, thus reducing the density of defect states and inhibiting the non-radiative recombination. The presence of hydrophobic groups in BHT protects the film from moisture erosion and improves the long-term stability of PSCs devices. The maximum photoelectric conversion efficiency of the constructed ITO/SnO2/BHT-MAPbI3/Carbon device is 16.88%, and the unpackaged cell maintains the initial efficiency of 99.3% after 698 h of storage under the environmental condition of 30% humidity. This work provides an efficient approach to improve the performance of printable hole transport layer-free carbon electrode perovskite solar cells.  相似文献

Minimizing surface defect is vital to further improve power conversion efficiency (PCE) and stability of inorganic perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Herein, we designed a passivator trifluoroacetamidine (TFA) to suppress CsPbI3−xBrx film defects. The amidine group of TFA can strongly chelate onto the perovskite surface to suppress the iodide vacancy, strengthened by additional hydrogen bonds. Moreover, three fluorine atoms allow strong intermolecular connection via intermolecular hydrogen bonds, thus constructing a robust shield against moisture. The TFA-treated PSCs exhibit remarkably suppressed recombination, yielding the record PCEs of 21.35 % and 17.21 % for 0.09 cm2 and 1.0 cm2 device areas, both of which are the highest for all-inorganic PSCs so far. The device also achieves a PCE of 39.78 % under indoor illumination, the highest for all-inorganic indoor photovoltaic devices. Furthermore, TFA greatly improves device ambient stability by preserving 93 % of the initial PCE after 960 h.  相似文献

3D and 2D hybrid perovskites, which have been known for more than 20 years, have emerged recently as promising materials for optoelectronic applications, particularly the 3D compound (CH3NH3)PbI3 (MAPI). The discovery of a new family of hybrid perovskites called d ‐MAPI is reported: the association of PbI2 with both methyl ammonium (MA+) and hydroxyethyl ammonium (HEA+) cations leads to a series of five compounds with general formulation (MA)1−2.48x(HEA)3.48x[Pb1−xI3−x]. These materials, which are lead‐ and iodide‐deficient compared to MAPI while retaining 3D architecture, can be considered as a bridge between the 2D and 3D materials. Moreover, they can be prepared as crystallized thin films by spin‐coating. These new 3D materials appear very promising for optoelectronic applications, not only because of their reduced lead content, but also in account of the large flexibility of their chemical composition through potential substitutions of MA+, HEA+, Pb2+ and I ions.  相似文献

In this work, a series of sole benzodithiophene-based wide band gap polymer donors, namely PBDTT, PBDTS, PBDTF and PBDTCl, were developed for efficient polymer solar cells (PSCs) by varying the heteroatoms into the conjugated side chains. The effects of sulfuration, fluorination and chlorination were also investigated systematically on the overall properties of these BDT-based polymers. The HOMO levels could be lowered gradually by introducing sulfur, fluorine and chlorine atoms into the side chains, which contributed to the stepwise increased Voc (from 0.78 V to 0.84 V) in the related PSCs using Y6 as the electron acceptor. This side-chain engineering strategy could promote the polymer chain interactions and fine-tune the phase separation of active blends, leading to enhanced absorption, ordered molecular packing and crystallinity. Among them, the chlorinated PBDTCl exhibited not only high level absorption and crystallinity, but also the most balanced hole/electron charge transport and the most optimized morphology, giving rise to the best PCE of 13.46 % with a Voc of 0.84 V, a Jsc of 23.16 mA cm−2 and an FF of 69.2 %. The chlorination strategy afforded PBDTCl synthetic simplicity but high efficiency, showing its promising photovoltaic applications for realizing low-cost practical PSCs in near future.  相似文献

Introducing fluorine (F) groups into a passivator plays an important role in enhancing the defect passivation effect for the perovskite film, which is usually attributed to the direct interaction of F and defect states. However, the interaction between electronegative F and electron-rich passivation groups in the same molecule, which may influence the passivation effect, is ignored. We herein report that such interactions can vary the electron cloud distribution around the passivation groups and thus changing their coordination with defect sites. By comparing two fluorinated molecules, heptafluorobutylamine (HFBM) and heptafluorobutyric acid (HFBA), we find that the F/−NH2 interaction in HFBM is stronger than the F/−COOH one in HFBA, inducing weaker passivation ability of HFBM than HFBA. Accordingly, HFBA-based perovskite solar cells (PSCs) provide an efficiency of 24.70 % with excellent long-term stability. Moreover, the efficiency of a large-area perovskite module (14.0 cm2) based on HFBA reaches 21.13 %. Our work offers an insight into understanding an unaware role of the F group in impacting the passivation effect for the perovskite film.  相似文献

In the lead halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs), the redox reaction of I and Pb2+ ions in perovskite materials under the fabrication and operation processes causes the formation of defects to destroy the cell efficiency and long-term stability. Herein, we have employed a Co(II) sulfophenyl porphyrin (CoTPPS) to modify the perovskite film. The sulfonic group could coordinate with Pb2+ to efficiently passivate the uncoordinated Pb2+. Additionally, Co2+ ions in CoTPPS could react with I2 generated under the thermal and light stress to yield the Co3+ and I, thus achieving the regeneration of I in perovskite film. Therefore, the CoTPPS could realize the targeted management of the imperfections in perovskite film. As a result, the modified PSCs reveal the remarkably enhanced cell performance. More importantly, the CoTPPS modified device retains 75% of its initial efficiency value storing at 85°C for 2000 h and about 70% of its efficiency when being continuously illuminated at a simulated sunlight for 1200 h. This strategy tackles the chemical reaction and inhibits the defect generation, thus improving the operational stability and efficiency of PSCs.   相似文献

Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have the potential to be highly efficient, low-cost next-generation solar cells. By raising open circuit voltage (Voc), the interfacial recombination kinetics can further improve device performance. In this study, we used simulation concept to elucidate the influence of using graphene as a surface passivation material in perovskite solar cells. Graphene works well as an interlayer to promote hole extraction and reduce interfacial recombination. In order to evaluate the effect of graphene in PSCs, the simulation was done in the SCAPS-1D framework to compare the performance of a device with and without graphene. Three interface layers were included to the model: TiO2/MAPbI3, MAPbI3/Graphene, and Graphene/Spiro-OMeTAD, in order to account for the impacts of interface defect density on device performance. The impacts of absorber doping concentration, absorber defect density, ETL doping concentration, HTL doping concentration, series resistance, and shunt resistance were also evaluated for the modelled PSC. Without any optimization, the control device with power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 20.677% was outperformed by the graphene-modified device with PCE of 20.911%. This difference is mostly due to the lower recombination losses and more effective suppression of interfacial non-radiative recombination. With optimization, the modified graphene-based device has a PCE of 26.667%. This result shows an enhancement of ∼1.28 times over that of the pristine graphene-based device. The outcomes have opened the way for the development of cost-effective and comparable state-of-the-art, high-efficiency perovskite solar cells with graphene interlayer by eliminating defects and managing non-radiative recombination.  相似文献

Photoferroelectrics, especially emerging halide perovskite ferroelectrics, have motivated tremendous interests owing to their fascinating bulk photovoltaic effect (BPVE) and cross-coupled functionalities. However, solid solutions of halide perovskite photoferroelectrics with controllable structure and enhanced performance are scarcely explored. Herein, through mixing cage cation, a homogeneous halide perovskite photoferroelectric PA2FAxMA1−xPb2Br7 solid solution (PA, FA and MA are CH3CH2CH2NH3+, NH2CHNH2+ and CH3NH3+, 0≤x≤1) has been developed, which demonstrates tunable Curie temperature in a wide range of 263–323 K and excellent optoelectrical features. As the component adjusted to x=0.7, the bulk crystal demonstrates ultrahigh pyroelectric coefficient up to 1.48 μC cm−2 K−1 around room temperature. Strikingly, benefiting from the light-induced pyroelectricity and remarkable BPVE, a self-powered and sensitive photodetector based solid solution crystals with boosted responsivity and detectivity over than 1300 % has been achieved. This pioneering work sheds light on the exploration of photoferroelectric solid solutions towards high-performance photoelectronic devices.  相似文献

Carbonyl functional materials as additives are extensively applied to reduce the defects density of the perovskite film. However, there is still a lack of comprehensive understanding for the effect of carbonyl additives to improve device performance. In this work, we systematically study the effect of carbonyl additive molecules on the passivation of defects in perovskite films. After a comprehensive investigation, the results confirm the importance of molecular dipole in amplifying the passivation effect of additive molecules. The additive with strong molecular dipole possesses the advantages of enhancing the efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). After optimization, the companion efficiency of PSCs is 23.20 %, and it can maintain long-term stability under harsh conditions. Additionally, a large-area solar cell module-modified DLBA was 20.18 % (14 cm2). This work provides an important reference for the selection and designing of efficient carbonyl additives.  相似文献

Hybrid halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs) giving over 22 % power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) have attracted considerable attention. Although perovskite plays a significant role in the operation of PSCs, the fundamental theories associated with perovskites have not been resolved in spite of the increase in research. In this Minireview, we assess the current understanding, based on the first‐principles calculations, of structural and electronic properties, defects, ionic diffusion, and shift current for CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite, and the effect of ionic transport on the hysteresis of current–voltage curves in PSCs. The shift current connected to the possible presence of ferroelectricity is also discussed. The current state‐of‐the‐art and some open questions regarding PSCs are also highlighted, and the benefits, challenges, and potentials of perovskite for use in PSCs are stressed.  相似文献
