A methodology for the formation of fibers/gels and vesicles by molecular assembly and for controlling their properties is presented. Two-component systems of pentamer (P)-5 and tetramer (M)-4 pseudoenantiomeric ethynylhelicenes with decyloxycarbonyl (D) and 4-methyl-2-(2-methylpropyl)-1-pentyloxycarbonyl (bD) side-chains have been examined. Distinct aggregates were formed by changing the solvent for the three combinations of (P)-bD-5/(M)-bD-4, (P)-D-5/(M)-bD-4, and (P)-D-5/(M)-D-4. In toluene, (P)-bD-5/(M)-bD-4, (P)-D-5/(M)-bD-4, and (P)-D-5/(M)-D-4 all formed gels and fibrous assemblies were observed by AFM. The minimum gel-forming concentration (MGC) decreased in the order (P)-bD-5/(M)-bD-4>(P)-D-5/(M)-bD-4>(P)-D-5/(M)-D-4. In diethyl ether, vesicular formation was observed by dynamic light scattering (DLS), AFM, and TEM, and the size of the vesicles decreased in the order (P)-bD-5/(M)-bD-4>(P)-D-5/(M)-bD-4>(P)-D-5/(M)-D-4. Both fiber/gel and vesicle formation were accompanied by enhanced CDs and redshifted UV/Vis absorption bands with a change in color to deep yellow. These are novel two-component oligomeric systems that form assemblies of fibers/gels or vesicles depending on the solvent, and the structures and properties of the assemblies can be fine-tuned by changing the combination of oligomers. In m-difluorobenzene, a homogeneous solution was obtained with (P)-D-5/(M)-bD-4, which again exhibits enhanced CDs and redshifted UV/Vis absorptions. Vapor pressure osmometry analysis showed the formation of a bimolecular heteroaggregate. The study has indicated that pseudoenantiomeric oligomers form hetero-double-helices that hierarchically assemble to form fibers/gels and vesicles.  相似文献

An isocratic high-performance liquid chromatographic method for the determination of tetracyclines is described using a mobile phase containing oxalic acid and C8- and C18-modified silica gel columns. For good separations of tetracyclines, oxalic acid concentrations of above 0.01 and 0.2 M respectively for parent tetracyclines (group I) and impurities in tetracycline (group II) are required. The optimum pH of the aqueous oxalic acids solution in the mobile phase is 2.0. The combinations of the C8-modified silica gel column with methanol-acetonitrile-0.01 M aqueous oxalic acid solution pH 2.0 (1:1.5:5) and the C18-modified silica gel column with methanol-acetonitrile-0.2 M aqueous oxalic acid solution pH 2.0(1:1:3.5) gave satisfactory results for groups I and II, respectively.  相似文献

Abstract

The florescent characteristics of the complex formed by 1, 5-dihydroxyanthraquinone with Mg(II) in aqueous ethanol (λex 490 nm,λem=600 nm; pHap=9.1-9.6; 10% H2O; reagent concentration=4×10?5M) are described. 以3,6-二甲基-2,5-吡嗪二羧酸(P)和三聚氰胺(M)为组分,采用不同的摩尔比(1∶1,1∶2,1∶3)混合配制了3个样品PM11,PM12和PM13,并对其凝胶性能进行了测试.实验结果表明,PM能在水中及部分含水有机溶剂中形成稳定的凝胶,这些凝胶对酸碱具有良好的响应性能.采用扫描电子显微镜分析了3种水凝胶的微观形貌,均为纤维状的网络结构;红外光谱及紫外光谱测试结果表明氢键是形成凝胶的关键驱动力;XRD测试结果显示凝胶为层状结构.对PM12在不同pH值的水中的凝胶性能测试结果表明,在pH=3~11的范围内PM12均能形成凝胶.测试了PM12在混合溶剂中的凝胶性能,并将测试结果与混合溶剂的Hansen溶解度参数关联,以便用于分析溶剂与凝胶因子间的相互作用,所得结果亦表明氢键在凝胶形成的过程中起重要作用.  相似文献

The disulphides of dithiophosphinic acids (DS) with the general formula R(2)P(S)SSP(S)R(2), where R = C(2)H(5), C(3)H(7), C(5)H(11), C(6)H(5) (I-IV) form coloured complexes of 1:3 stoichiometry with Pd(II). The absorption maxima and molar absorptivities are: a lambda(I) = 302 nm, epsilon(I) = 2.04 x 10(4) 1.mole(-1).cm(-1); lambda(II) = 305 nm, epsilon(II) = 2.58 x 10(4); lambda(III) = 303 nm, epsilon(III) = 2.60 x 10(4); lambda(IV) = 315 nm, epsilon(IV) = 3.25 x 10(4). The reaction takes about 3 min at room temperature, and the colour is stable for 24 hr. The influence of time, pH, reagent concentration, organic solvents and interferences have been studied. An extractive photometric method of determination of Pd(II) is described and applied to the determination of Pd(II) in a mixture of platinum metals.  相似文献

(P)-(+)-Hexaspiro[2.0.0.0. 0.0.2.1.1.1.1.1]pentadecane [(P)-17] as well as (M)-(-)- and (P)-(+)-octaspiro[2.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.2.1.1.1.1.1.1.1]nonadecanes [(M)- and (P)-25]-enantiomerically pure unbranched [7]- and [9]triangulanes-have been prepared starting from racemic THP-protected (methylenecyclopropyl)methanol 6. The relative configurations of all important intermediates as well as the absolute configurations of the key intermediates were established by X-ray crystal structure analyses. This new convergent approach to enantiomerically pure linear [n]triangulanes for n=7, 9 was also tested in two variants towards [15]triangulane. Some of the most prominent and unexpected features of the newly prepared compounds are the remarkable modes of self-assembly of the diols (P)-14, (E)-(3S,3'S,4S,4'S,5R,5'R)-21, (P)-(+)-22, and (E)-31 in the solid state through frameworks of intermolecular hydrogen bonds leading to, depending on the respective structure, nanotube- [(P)-14, (P)-(+)-22, and (E)-31], honeycomb-like structures [(E)-(3S,3'S,4S,4'S,5R,5'R)-21] or a supramolecular double helix [(P)-(+)- and (M)-(-)-22]. Liquid crystalline properties of the esters and ethers of the diols (P)-14, (P)-, and (M)-22 have also been tested. Although all of these [n]triangulanes have no chromophore which would lead to significant absorptions above 200 nm, they exhibit surprisingly high specific rotations even at 589 nm with [alpha](20)(D)=+672.9 (c=0.814 in CHCl(3)) for (P)-(+)-17, +909.9 (c=0.96 in CHCl(3)) for (P)-(+)-25, -890.5 (c=1.01 in CHCl(3)) for (M)-(-)-25, and -1302.5 (c=0.36 in CHCl(3)) for (M)-(-)-39, and the specific rotations increase drastically on going to shorter wavelengths. This outstanding rotatory power is in line with their rather rigid helical arrangement of sigma bonds, and accordingly these helically shaped unbranched [n]triangulanes may be termed "sigma-[n]helicenes", as they represent the sigma-bond analogues of the aromatic pi-[n]helicenes. Density functional theory (DFT) computations at the B3 LYP/6-31+G(d,p) level of theory for the geometry optimization and time-dependent DFT for determining optical rotations with a triplet-zeta basis set (B3 LYP/TZVP) reproduce the optical rotatory dispersions (ORD) very well for the lower members (n=4, 5) of the sigma-[n]helicenes. For the higher ones (n=7, 9, 15) the computed specific rotations turn out increasingly larger than the experimental values. The remarkable increase of the specific rotation with an increasing number of three-membered rings is proportional neither to the molecular weight nor to the number of cyclopropane rings in these sigma-[n]helicenes.  相似文献

The feasibility of devising a solid support mediated approach to multimodal Ru(II)-peptide nucleic acid (PNA) oligomers is explored. Three Ru(II)-PNA-like monomers, [Ru(bpy)(2)(Cpp-L-PNA-OH)](2+) (M1), [Ru(phen)(2)(Cpp-L-PNA-OH)](2+) (M2), and [Ru(dppz)(2)(Cpp-L-PNA-OH)](2+) (M3) (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, dppz = dipyrido[3,2-a:2',3'-c]phenazine, Cpp-L-PNA-OH = [2-(N-9-fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl)aminoethyl]-N-[6-(2-(pyridin-2yl)pyrimidine-4-carboxamido)hexanoyl]-glycine), have been synthesized as building blocks for Ru(II)-PNA oligomers and characterized by IR and (1)H NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, electrochemistry and elemental analysis. As a proof of principle, M1 was incorporated on the solid phase within the PNA sequences H-g-c-a-a-t-a-a-a-a-Lys-NH(2) (PNA1) and H-P-K-K-K-R-K-V-g-c-a-a-t-a-a-a-a-lys-NH(2) (PNA4) to give PNA2 (H-g-c-a-a-t-a-a-a-a-M1-lys-NH(2)) and PNA3 (H-P-K-K-K-R-K-V-g-c-a-a-t-a-a-a-a-M1-lys-NH(2)), respectively. The two Ru(II)-PNA oligomers, PNA2 and PNA3, displayed a metal to ligand charge transfer (MLCT) transition band centered around 445 nm and an emission maximum at about 680 nm following 450 nm excitation in aqueous solutions (10 mM PBS, pH 7.4). The absorption and emission response of the duplexes formed with the cDNA strand (DNA: 5'-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-A-T-T-G-C-T-T-T-3') showed no major variations, suggesting that the electronic properties of the Ru(II) complexes are largely unaffected by hybridization. The thermal stability of the PNA·DNA duplexes, as evaluated from UV melting experiments, is enhanced compared to the corresponding nonmetalated duplexes. The melting temperature (T(m)) was almost 8 °C higher for PNA2·DNA duplex, and 4 °C for PNA3·DNA duplex, with the stabilization attributed to the electrostatic interaction between the cationic residues (Ru(II) unit and positively charged lysine/arginine) and the polyanionic DNA backbone. In presence of tripropylamine (TPA) as co-reactant, PNA2, PNA3, PNA2·DNA and PNA3·DNA displayed strong electrochemiluminescence (ECL) signals even at submicromolar concentrations. Importantly, the combination of spectrochemical, thermal and ECL properties possessed by the Ru(II)-PNA sequences offer an elegant approach for the design of highly sensitive multimodal biosensing tools.  相似文献

Two spectrophotometric methods, derivative and multivariate methods, were applied for the determination of binary, ternary, and quaternary mixtures of the water-soluble vitamins thiamine HCI (I), pyridoxine HCI (II), riboflavin (III), and cyanocobalamin (IV). The first method is divided into first derivative and first derivative of ratio spectra methods, and the second into classical least squares and principal components regression methods. Both methods are based on spectrophotometric measurements of the studied vitamins in 0.1 M HCl solution in the range of 200-500 nm for all components. The linear calibration curves were obtained from 2.5-90 microg/mL, and the correlation coefficients ranged from 0.9991 to 0.9999. These methods were applied for the analysis of the following mixtures: (I) and (II); (I), (II), and (III); (I), (II), and (IV); and (I), (II), (III), and (IV). The described methods were successfully applied for the determination of vitamin combinations in synthetic mixtures and dosage forms from different manufacturers. The recovery ranged from 96.1 +/- 1.2 to 101.2 +/- 1.0% for derivative methods and 97.0 +/- 0.5 to 101.9 +/- 1.3% for multivariate methods. The results of the developed methods were compared with those of reported methods, and gave good accuracy and precision.  相似文献

Gas-phase complexes of [n]helicenes with n=6, 7 and 8 and the silver(I) cation are generated utilizing electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS). Besides the well-established [1 : 1] helicene/Ag+-complex in which the helicene provides a tweezer-like surrounding for the Ag+, there is also a [2 : 1] complex formed. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations in conjunction with energy-resolved collision-induced dissociation (ER-CID) experiments reveal that the second helicene attaches via π-π stacking to the first helicene, which is part of the pre-formed [1 : 1] tweezer complex with Ag+. For polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) of planar structure, the [2 : 1] complex with silver(I) is typically structured as an Ag+-bound dimer in which the Ag+ would bind to both PAHs as the central metal ion (PAH–Ag+–PAH). For helicenes, the Ag+-bound dimer is of similar thermochemical stability as the π-π stacked dimer, however, it is kinetically inaccessible. Coronene (Cor) is investigated in comparison to the helicenes as an essentially planar PAH. In analogy to the π-π stacked dimer of the helicenes, the Cor−Ag+−Cor−Cor complex is also observed. Competition experiments using [n]helicene mixtures reveal that the tweezer complexes of Ag+ are preferably formed with the larger helicenes, with n=6 being entirely ignored as the host for Ag+ in the presence of n=7 or 8.  相似文献

The incorporation of heteroatoms and/or heptagons as the defects into helicenes expands the variety of chiroptical materials with novel properties. However, it is still challenging to construct novel boron-doped heptagon-containing helicenes with high photoluminescence quantum yields (PLQYs) and narrow full-width-at-half-maximum (FWHM) values. We report an efficient and scalable synthesis of a quadruple helicene 4Cz-NBN with two nitrogen-boron-nitrogen (NBN) units and a double helicene 4Cz-NBN-P1 bearing two NBN-doped heptagons, the latter could be formed via a two-fold Scholl reaction of the former. The helicenes 4Cz-NBN and 4Cz-NBN-P1 exhibit excellent PLQYs up to 99 % and 65 % with narrow FWHM of 24 nm and 22 nm, respectively. The emission wavelengths are tunable via stepwise titration experiments of 4Cz-NBN-P1 toward fluoride, enabling distinguished circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) from green, orange (4Cz-NBN-P1-F1) to yellow (trans/cis-4Cz-NBN-P1-F2) with near-unity PLQYs and broader circular dichroism (CD) ranges. The five structures of the aforementioned four helicenes were confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. This work provides a novel design strategy for construction of non-benzenoid multiple helicenes exhibiting narrow emissions with superior PLQYs.  相似文献

An highly sensitive and fully automated high-performance liquid chromatographic assay was developed for the determination of a novel non-benzodiazepine anxiolytic (I) [(R)-2-(methoxymethyl)-1-[(7-oxo-8-phenyl-7H-thieno[2,3-a]quinolizin+ ++- 10-yl)carbonyl]pyrrolidine] and its O-demethyl metabolite (II) in plasma, using column-switching for direct injection of plasma samples. After dilution in internal standard solution, the sample was injected onto a pre-column (17 mm x 4.6 mm) dry-packed with pellicular C18 reversed-phase material. Polar plasma components were removed by flushing the pre-column with water-acetonitrile (90:10, v/v). Retained substances, including I and II, were backflushed onto an analytical column, separated by gradient elution and detected by means of fluorescence detection (excitation, 304 nm; emission, 475 nm). After washing the analytical column and re-equilibrating the pre-column, the system was ready for the next injection. The limit of quantification for I and II was 0.25 and 0.5 ng/ml, respectively, using a 350-microliter specimen of plasma. The practicability of the new method was demonstrated by analysis of more than 300 plasma samples from a tolerance study performed with human volunteers. Owing to its high sensitivity, the method can be used to calculate pharmacokinetic parameters of compounds I and II in man after a single oral dose of about 1 mg of I.  相似文献

Standard absolute entropies of many inorganic materials are unknown; this precludes a full understanding of their thermodynamic stabilities. It is shown here that formula unit volume, V(m)(), can be employed for the general estimation of standard entropy, S degrees 298 values for inorganic materials of varying stoichiometry (including minerals), through a simple linear correlation between entropy and molar volume. V(m)() can be obtained from a number of possible sources, or alternatively density, rho, may be used as the source of data. The approach can also be extended to estimate entropies for hypothesized materials. The regression lines pass close to the origin, with the following formulas: For inorganic ionic salts, S degrees 298 /J K(-)(1) mol(-)(1) = 1360 (V(m)()/nm(3) formula unit(-)(1)) + 15 or = 2.258 [M/(rho/g cm(-)(3))] + 15. For ionic hydrates, S degrees 298 /J K(-)(1) mol(-)(1) = 1579 (V(m)()/nm(3) formula unit(-)(1)) + 6 or = 2.621 [M/(rho/g cm(-)(3))] + 6. For minerals, S degrees 298 /J K(-)(1) mol(-)(1) = 1262 (V(m)()/nm(3) formula unit(-)(1)) + 13 or = 2.095 [M/(rho/g cm(-)(3))] + 13. Coupled with our published procedures, which relate volume to other thermodynamic properties via lattice energy, the correlation reported here complements our development of a predictive approach to thermodynamics and ultimately permits the estimation of Gibbs energy data. Our procedures are simple, robust, and reliable and can be used by specialists and nonspecialists alike.  相似文献

A new synergistic multicomponent organogelator liquid system (MOGLS) was discovered during the standard protocol of tartaric acid-mediated racemic resolution of (+/-)- trans-1,2-diaminocyclohexane. The MOGLS is formed by a 0.126 M methanolic solution of (1 R,2 R)-(+)-1,2-diaminocyclohexane L-tartrate and 1 equiv of concentrated hydrochloric acid. Nonreversible gelation of oxygenated and nitrogenated solvents occurs efficiently at low temperature. Several features make this system unique: (1) it is a multicomponent solution where each of the five components is required for the organogelation property; (2) the multicomponent organogelator liquid system (MOGLS) is formed by simple, small, and commercially available chiral building blocks dissolved in a well-defined solvent system (MeOH/HCl/H2O); (3) the chiral building blocks are easily amenable for further modifications in structure-property relationship studies; (4) the gelation phenomenon takes place efficiently at low temperature upon warming up the isotropic solution, conversely to the typical gel preparation protocol (gel formation upon cooling down the isotropic solution); (5) the formed organic gels are not thermoreversible in spite of the noncovalent interactions that hold the 3D-fibrillar network together.  相似文献

The potential for developing improved procedures for phosphate measurement through combinations of gel electrophoresis and quadrupole-based ICP mass spectrometry utilising (47)PO(+) is investigated. Laser ablation of gels offers a rapid and direct quantitation route, but is subject to high blanks due to P impurities in gels and associated reagents; nevertheless optimisation of laser sampling afforded improved method sensitivity (limit of detection 0.09 microg g(-1)). Implementation of whole gel elution (WGE) with FI-ICP-MS (conventional solution nebulisation) following gel electrophoresis permitted quantitation at the sub microg l(-1) level, and microcolumn processing (activated alumina) was effective at rejecting phosphate contamination. The potential for S-induced molecular ion interference at mass 47 was demonstrated.  相似文献

Poly[(N-vinylimidazole)-maleic acid] (poly(VIm-MA)), copolymeric hydrogels were prepared by gamma-irradiating ternary mixtures of N-vinylimidazole-maleic acid-water in a (60)Co-gamma source. Cu(II) and Co(II) ions were chelated within the gels at pH=5.0. The maximum adsorption capacity of the gels were 3.71 mmol/g dry gel for Cu(II) and 1.25 mmol/g dry gel for Co(II) at pH=5.0. The swelling ratios of the gels were 1200% for poly(VIm-MA), 60 and 45% for Cu(II) and Co(II)-chelated poly(VIm-MA) gels at pH=5.0 in acetate buffer solution. These affinity gels with different swelling ratios for plain poly(VIm-MA), Cu(II)-, and Co(II)-chelated poly(VIm-MA), in acetate and phosphate buffers were used in the bovine serum albumin (BSA) adsorption/desorption studies in batch reactor. The maximum BSA adsorption capacities of the gels were 0.38 g/g dry gel for plain, 0.88 g/g dry gel for Cu(II)-chelated poly(VIm-MA) and 1.05 g/g dry gel for Co(II)-chelated poly(VIm-MA) gels. Adsorption capacity of BSA by the gels was reduced dramatically by increasing the ionic strength adjusted with NaCl. More than 95% of BSA were desorbed in 10 h in desorption medium containing 0.1M of EDTA for metal ion-chelated gels at pH=4.7.  相似文献

The new complex trans-[NCRu(py)(4)(CN)Ru(py)(4)NO](PF(6))(3) (I) was synthesized. In acetonitrile solution, I shows an intense visible band (555 nm, epsilon = 5800 M(-1) cm(-1)) and other absorptions below 350 nm, associated with d(pi) --> pi(py) and pi(py) --> pi(py) transitions. The visible band is presently assigned as a donor-acceptor charge transfer (DACT) transition from the remote Ru(II) to the delocalized [Ru(II)-NO(+)] moiety. Photoinduced release of NO is observed upon irradiation at the DACT band. Application of the Hush model reveals strong electronic coupling, with H(DA) = approximately 2000 cm(-1). The difference between the optical absorption energy and redox potentials for the donor and acceptor sites (Ru(III,II), 1.40 V, and NO(+)/NO, 0.50 V, vs Ag/AgCl, 3 M KCl, respectively) (hnu - DeltaE(red)) is 1.33 eV, a large value which probably relates to the significant changes in distances and angles for the Ru-N-O moiety upon reduction. UV-vis absorptions, IR frequencies, and redox potentials are solvent-dependent. Controlled potential reduction (of NO(+)) and oxidation (of Ru(II) associated with the dicyano-chromophore) of I afford stable species, [NCRu(II)(py)(4)(CN)Ru(py)(4)NO](2+) (I(red)) and [NCRu(III)(py)(4)(CN)Ru(py)(4)NO](4+) (I(ox)), respectively, which are characterized by UV-vis and IR spectroscopies. I(red) shows an EPR spectrum characteristic of [Ru(II)-NO(*)] complexes. Compound I is electrophilically reactive in aqueous solution above pH 5: values of the equilibrium constant for the reaction [NCRu(py)(4)(CN)Ru(py)(4)NO](3+)+ 2 OH(-) <--> [NCRu(py)(4)(CN)Ru(py)(4)NO(2)](+) + H(2)O, K = 3.2 +/- 1.4 x 10(15) M(-2), and of the rate constant for the nucleophilic addition of OH(-), k = 9.2 +/- 0.2 x 10(3) M(-1) s(-1)(25 degrees C, I = 1 M), are obtained, with DeltaH = 90.7 +/- 3.8 kJ mol(-1) and DeltaS = 135 +/- 13 J K(-1) mol(-1). The oxidized complex, I(ox), shows an enhanced electrophilic reactivity toward OH(-). This addition reaction is followed by irreversible processes, which most probably lead to disproportionation of bound nitrite and other products.  相似文献

As shown by spectrophotometry, two specific complexes with stoichiometry 1:1 and 2:1 are formed when penicillin V reacts with cobalt(II) in a methanolic medium. Stability constants are determined at 20 degrees , as well as the molar absorptivities at 510 nm. The results obtained are: log beta(1:1) = 1.67 +/- 0.01 l.mole(-1) and log beta(2:1) = 5.76 +/- 1.01 l(2).mole(-2), (1:1) = 13.62 +/- 0.73 and (2:1) = 12.95 +/- 0.61 l.mole(-1).cm(-1).  相似文献

A remarkably high specific rotation, even at 589 nm, is shown by (M)-1, the first enantiomerically pure unbranched [4]triangulane, although it has no chromophore that would lead to any significant absorption above 200 nm. This outstanding rotatory power is in line with a helical arrangement of its sigma bonds, as confirmed by high-level computations. Thus, it is appropriate to call (M)-1 a "sigma-[4]helicene", the first sigma-bond analogue of the aromatic [n]helicenes.  相似文献
