Different tautomeric and zwitterionic forms of chelidamic acid (4‐hydroxypyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylic acid) are present in the crystal structures of chelidamic acid methanol monosolvate, C7H5NO5·CH4O, (Ia), dimethylammonium chelidamate (dimethylammonium 6‐carboxy‐4‐hydroxypyridine‐2‐carboxylate), C2H8N+·C7H4NO5, (Ib), and chelidamic acid dimethyl sulfoxide monosolvate, C7H5NO5·C2H6OS, (Ic). While the zwitterionic pyridinium carboxylate in (Ia) can be explained from the pKa values, a (partially) deprotonated hydroxy group in the presence of a neutral carboxy group, as observed in (Ib) and (Ic), is unexpected. In (Ib), there are two formula units in the asymmetric unit with the chelidamic acid entities connected by a symmetric O—H...O hydrogen bond. Also, crystals of chelidamic acid dimethyl ester (dimethyl 4‐hydroxypyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylate) were obtained as a monohydrate, C9H9NO5·H2O, (IIa), and as a solvent‐free modification, in which both ester molecules adopt the hydroxypyridine form. In (IIa), the solvent water molecule stabilizes the synperiplanar conformation of both carbonyl O atoms with respect to the pyridine N atom by two O—H...O hydrogen bonds, whereas an antiperiplanar arrangement is observed in the water‐free structure. A database study and ab initio energy calculations help to compare the stabilities of the various ester conformations.  相似文献

Two new diorganotin(IV) derivatives of 2,6‐pyridinedicarboxylic acid, {[Ph2Sn(2,6‐C5H3N)(COO)2][Na(2,6‐C5H3N)(COOH) (COO)(CH3OH)2]} ( 1 ) and [Me2Sn(2,6‐C5H3N)(COO)2(H2O)]H2O ( 2 ) were synthesized by the reaction of Ph3SnCl and PhMe2SnI with 2,6‐pyridinedicarboxylic acid, respectively in the presence of sodium methoxide or potassium iso‐propoxide. The prepared compounds were characterized by mass spectrometry, IR, 1H, 13C and 119Sn NMR spectroscopies. The molecular structures of both complexes were determined by a single‐crystal X‐ray analysis. The X‐ray structure revealed pentagonal bipyramidal geometry around the tin atom for compound 1, which is incorporated with a hexacoordinated monosodium derivative of 2,6‐pyridinedicarboxylic acid. Complex 2 adopts a monomeric structure with two carboxylate oxygen atoms coordinated to tin in monodenate form from equatorial positions, and the coordination number is raised to six as the oxygen of water and pyridine nitrogen occupies the other equatorial positions of octahedron. The crystal structures of quinolinium 3‐carboxy‐4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonate trihydrate, C9H8N+·C7H5O6S·3H2O, (I), 8‐hydroxyquinolinium 3‐carboxy‐4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonate monohydrate, C9H8NO+·C7H5O6S·H2O, (II), 8‐aminoquinolinium 3‐carboxy‐4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonate dihydrate, C9H9N2+·C7H5O6S·2H2O, (III), and 2‐carboxyquinolinium 3‐carboxy‐4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonate quinolinium‐2‐carboxylate, C10H8NO2+·C7H5O6S·C10H7NO2, (IV), four proton‐transfer compounds of 5‐sulfosalicylic acid with bicyclic heteroaromatic Lewis bases, reveal in each the presence of variously hydrogen‐bonded polymers. In only one of these compounds, viz. (II), is the protonated quinolinium group involved in a direct primary N+—H⋯O(sulfonate) hydrogen‐bonding interaction, while in the other hydrates, viz. (I) and (III), the water molecules participate in the primary intermediate interaction. The quinaldic acid (quinoline‐2‐carboxylic acid) adduct, (IV), exhibits cation–cation and anion–adduct hydrogen bonding but no direct formal heteromolecular interaction other than a number of weak cation–anion and cation–adduct π–π stacking associations. In all other compounds, secondary interactions give rise to network polymer structures.  相似文献

Bis(pyridine‐2,6‐dimethanol‐N,O,O′)cobalt(II) disaccharinate dihydrate, [Co(C7H9NO2)2](C7H4NO3S)2·2H2O, (I), and bis(pyridine‐2,6‐dimethanol‐N,O,O′)copper(II) disaccharinate dihydrate, [Cu(C7H9NO2)2](C7H4NO3S)2·2H2O, (II), collectively [M(dmpy)2](sac)2·2H2O (where M is CoII or CuII, sac is the saccharinate anion and dmpy is pyridine‐2,6‐dimethanol), are isostructural. The [M(dmpy)2]2+ cations exhibit distorted octahedral geometry in which the two neutral dmpy species act as tripodal N,O,O′‐tridentate ligands. The crystal packing is determined by hydrogen bonding, as well as by weak pyridine–saccharinate π–π‐stacking interactions.  相似文献

Four crystal structures of 2‐amino‐N‐(dimethylphenoxyethyl)propan‐1‐ol derivatives, characterized by X‐ray diffraction analysis, are reported. The free base (R,S)‐2‐amino‐N‐[2‐(2,3‐dimethylphenoxy)ethyl]propan‐1‐ol, C13H21NO2, 1 , crystallizes in the space group P21/n, with two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. The hydrochloride, (S)‐N‐[2‐(2,6‐dimethylphenoxy)ethyl]‐1‐hydroxypropan‐2‐aminium chloride, C13H22NO2+·Cl?, 2c , crystallizes in the space group P21, with one cation and one chloride anion in the asymmetric unit. The asymmetric unit of two salts of 2‐picolinic acid, namely, (R,S)‐N‐[2‐(2,3‐dimethylphenoxy)ethyl]‐1‐hydroxypropan‐2‐aminium pyridine‐2‐carboxylate, C13H22NO2+·C6H4NO2?, 1p , and (R)‐N‐[2‐(2,6‐dimethylphenoxy)ethyl]‐1‐hydroxypropan‐2‐aminium pyridine‐2‐carboxylate, C13H22NO2+·C6H4NO2?, 2p , consists of one cation and one 2‐picolinate anion. Salt 1p crystallizes in the triclinic centrosymmetric space group P, while salt 2p crystallizes in the space group P41212. The conformations of the amine fragments are contrasted and that of 2p is found to have an unusual antiperiplanar arrangement about the ether group. The crystal packing of 1 and 2c is dominated by hydrogen‐bonded chains, while the structures of the 2‐picolinate salts have hydrogen‐bonded rings as the major features. In both salts with 2‐picolinic acid, the specific R12(5) hydrogen‐bonding motif is observed. Structural studies have been enriched by the generation of fingerprint plots derived from Hirshfeld surfaces.  相似文献

An in situ reaction under hydrothermal conditions leads to the formation of the title compound, diaqua(pyridine‐2‐carboxylato)(pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato)indium(II) trihydrate, [In(C6H4NO2)(C7H3NO4)(H2O)2]·3H2O, in which the central InIII atom is seven‐coordinated by one pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylate ligand, one pyridine‐2‐carboxylate ligand and two water molecules in a pentagonal–bipyramidal coordination environment. An indium(III)–water chain based on an unusual water pentamer is observed.  相似文献

The structures of the 1:1 proton‐transfer compounds of 4,5‐dichlorophthalic acid with 8‐hydroxyquinoline, 8‐aminoquinoline and quinoline‐2‐carboxylic acid (quinaldic acid), namely anhydrous 8‐hydroxyquinolinium 2‐carboxy‐4,5‐dichlorobenzoate, C9H8NO+·C8H3Cl2O4, (I), 8‐aminoquinolinium 2‐carboxy‐4,5‐dichlorobenzoate, C9H9N2+·C8H3Cl2O4, (II), and the adduct hydrate 2‐carboxyquinolinium 2‐carboxy‐4,5‐dichlorobenzoate quinolinium‐2‐carboxylate monohydrate, C10H8NO2+·C8H3Cl2O4·C10H7NO2·H2O, (III), have been determined at 130 K. Compounds (I) and (II) are isomorphous and all three compounds have one‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonded chain structures, formed in (I) through O—H...Ocarboxyl extensions and in (II) through N+—H...Ocarboxyl extensions of cation–anion pairs. In (III), a hydrogen‐bonded cyclic R22(10) pseudo‐dimer unit comprising a protonated quinaldic acid cation and a zwitterionic quinaldic acid adduct molecule is found and is propagated through carboxylic acid O—H...Ocarboxyl and water O—H...Ocarboxyl interactions. In both (I) and (II), there are also cation–anion aromatic ring π–π associations. This work further illustrates the utility of both hydrogen phthalate anions and interactive‐group‐substituted quinoline cations in the formation of low‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonded structures.  相似文献

The title complexes, hexaaquacobalt(II) bis(μ‐pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato)bis[(pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato)bismuthate(III)] dihydrate, [Co(H2O)6][Bi2(C7H4NO4)4]·2H2O, (I), and hexaaquanickel(II) bis(μ‐pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato)bis[(pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato)bismuthate(III)] dihydrate, [Ni(H2O)6][Bi2(C7H4NO4)4]·2H2O, (II), are isomorphous and crystallize in the triclinic space group P. The transition metal ions are located on the inversion centre and adopt slightly distorted MO6 (M = Co or Ni) octahedral geometries. Two [Bi(pydc)2] units (pydc is pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylate) are linked via bridging carboxylate groups into centrosymmetric [Bi2(pydc)4]2− dianions. The crystal packing reveals that the [M(H2O)6]2+ cations, [Bi2(pydc)4]2− anions and solvent water molecules form multiple hydrogen bonds to generate a supramolecular three‐dimensional network. The formation of secondary Bi...O bonds between adjacent [Bi2(pydc)4]2− dimers provides an additional supramolecular synthon that directs and facilitates the crystal packing of both (I) and (II).  相似文献

The design and synthesis of 3d–4f heterometallic coordination polymers have attracted much interest due to the intriguing diversity of their architectures and topologies. Pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylic acid (H2pydc) has a versatile coordination mode and has been used to construct multinuclear and heterometallic compounds. Two isostructural centrosymmetric 3d–4f coordination compounds constructed from pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylic acid and 4,4′‐bipyridine (bpy), namely 4,4′‐bipyridine‐1,1′‐diium diaquabis(μ2‐pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato)tetrakis(pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato)bis[4‐(pyridin‐4‐yl)pyridinium]cobalt(II)dieuropium(III) octahydrate, (C10H10N2)[CoEu2(C10H9N2)2(C7H3NO4)6(H2O)2]·8H2O, (I), and 4,4′‐bipyridine‐1,1′‐diium diaquabis(μ2‐pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato)tetrakis(pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato)bis[4‐(pyridin‐4‐yl)pyridinium]cobalt(II)diterbium(III) octahydrate, (C10H10N2)[CoTb2(C10H9N2)2(C7H3NO4)6(H2O)2]·8H2O, (II), were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by IR and fluorescence spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and powder X‐ray diffraction. Both compounds crystallize in the triclinic space group P. The EuIII and TbIII cations adopt nine‐coordinated distorted tricapped trigonal–prismatic geometries bridged by three pydc2? ligands. The CoII cation has a six‐coordination environment formed by two pydc2? ligands, two bpy ligands and two coordinated water molecules. Adjacent molecules are connected by π–π stacking interactions to form a one‐dimensional chain, which is further extended into a three‐dimensional supramolecular network by multipoint hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

A new bis‐TTF donor (TTF is tetrathiafulvalene) containing a pyridine diester spacer, namely bis{2‐[(6,7‐tetramethylene‐3‐methylsulfanyltetrathiafulvalen‐2‐yl)sulfanyl]ethyl} pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylate–tetracyanoquinodimethane–dichloromethane (2/1/2), 2C33H33NO4S12·C12H4N4·2CH2Cl2, has been synthesized and its electron‐donating ability determined by cyclic voltammetry. The electrical conductivity and crystal structure of this donor–acceptor (DA) complex with TCNQ (tetracyanoquinodimethane) as the acceptor are presented. The TCNQ moiety lies across a crystallographic inversion centre. In the crystal structure, TTF and TCNQ entities are arranged in alternate stacks; this feature, together with the bond lengths of the TCNQ molecule, suggest that the expected charge transfer has not occurred and that the D and A entities are in the neutral state, in agreement with the poor conductivity of the material (σRT = 2 × 10−6 S cm−1).  相似文献

New salt forms of the antioxidant drug emoxypine (EMX, 2‐ethyl‐6‐methylpyridin‐3‐ol) with pharmaceutically acceptable maleic (Mlt), malonic (Mln) and adipic (Adp) acids were obtained {emoxypinium maleate, C8H12NO+·C4H3O4, [EMX+Mlt], emoxypinium malonate, C8H12NO+·C3H3O4, [EMX+Mln], and emoxypinium adipate, C8H12NO+·C6H9O4, [EMX+Adp]} and their crystal structures determined. The molecular packing in the three EMX salts was studied by means of solid‐state density functional theory (DFT), followed by QTAIMC (quantum theory of atoms in molecules and crystals) analysis. It was found that the major contribution to the packing energy comes from pyridine–carboxylate and hydroxy–carboxylate heterosynthons forming infinite one‐dimensional ribbons, with [EMX+Adp] additionally stabilized by hydrogen‐bonded C(9) chains of Adp ions. The melting processes of the [EMX+Mlt] (1:1), [EMX+Mln] (1:1) and [EMX+Adp] (1:1) salts were studied and the fusion enthalpy was found to increase with the increase of the calculated lattice energy. The dissolution process of the EMX salts in buffer (pH 7.4) was also studied. It was found that the formation of binary crystals of EMX with dicarboxylic acids increases the EMX solubility by more than 30 times compared to its pure form.  相似文献

Two new mononuclear coordination compounds, bis{4‐[(hydroxyimino)methyl]pyridinium} diaquabis(pyridine‐2,5‐dicarboxylato‐κ2N,O2)zincate(II), (C6H7N2O)2[Zn(C7H3NO4)2(H2O)2], (1), and (pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato‐κ3O2,N,O6)bis[N‐(pyridin‐4‐ylmethylidene‐κN)hydroxylamine]zinc(II), [Zn(C7H3NO4)(C6H6N2O)2], (2), have been synthesized and characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffractometry. The centrosymmetric ZnII cation in (1) is octahedrally coordinated by two chelating pyridine‐2,5‐dicarboxylate ligands and by two water molecules in a distorted octahedral geometry. In (2), the ZnII cation is coordinated by a tridentate pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylate dianion and by two N‐(pyridin‐4‐ylmethylidene)hydroxylamine molecules in a distorted C2‐symmetric trigonal bipyramidal coordination geometry.  相似文献

Three cadmium(II) coordination polymers [Cd(NA)2(H2O)2]n ( 1 ), {[Cd(NA)(phen)(NO3)]·(H2O)1/2}n ( 2 ), {[Cd(NA)(CH3C6H4COO)(H2O)2]·(CH3C6H4COOH)}n ( 3 ) (HNA = nicotinic acid, phen = 1, 10‐phenanthroline) have been synthesized by hydrothermal method. Their single‐crystal structures were determined by X‐ray diffractometry. The absorption, excitation and emission spectra were investigated and all the complexes emit strong fluorescence: λemmax = 544 nm (λex = 492 nm), 1 ; λemmax = 466 nm (λex = 393 nm), 2 ; λemmax = 430 nm (λex = 313 nm), 3 . At room temperature in the solid state the fluorescence lifetimes of the complexes were investigated and the relationships between the spectra were discussed as well as the connections of luminescence and crystal structures.  相似文献

Glycinium semi‐malonate, C2H6NO2+·C3H3O4, (I), and glutaric acid–glycine (1/1), C2H5NO2·C5H8O4, (II), are new examples of two‐component crystal structures containing glycine and carboxylic acids. (II) is the first example of a glycine cocrystal which cannot be classified as a salt, as glutaric acid remains completely protonated. In the structure of (I), there are chains formed exclusively by glycinium cations, or exclusively by malonate anions, and these chains are linked with each other. Two types of very short O—H...O hydrogen bonds are present in the structure of (I), one linking glycinium cations with malonate anions, and the other linking malonate anions with each other. In contrast to (I), no direct linkages between molecules of the same type can be found in (II); all the hydrogen‐bonded chains are heteromolecular, with molecules of neutral glutaric acid alternating with glycine zwitterions, linked by two types of short O—H...O hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The isostructural salts benzene‐1,2‐diaminium bis(pyridine‐2‐carboxylate), 0.5C6H10N22+·C6H4NO2?, (1), and 4,5‐dimethylbenzene‐1,2‐diaminium bis(pyridine‐2‐carboxylate), 0.5C8H14N22+·C6H4NO2?, (2), and the 1:2 benzene‐1,2‐diamine–benzoic acid cocrystal, 0.5C6H8N2·C7H6O2, (3), are reported. All of the compounds exhibit extensive N—H…O hydrogen bonding that results in interconnected rings. O—H…N hydrogen bonding is observed in (3). Additional π–π and C—H…π interactions are found in each compound. Hirshfeld and fingerprint plot analyses reveal the primary intermolecular interactions and density functional theory was used to calculate their strengths. Salt formation by (1) and (2), and cocrystallization by (3) are rationalized by examining pKa differences. The R22(9) hydrogen‐bonding motif is common to each of these structures.  相似文献

Glycinium semi‐oxalate‐II, C2H6NO2+·C2HO4, (A), and diglycinium oxalate methanol disolvate, 2C2H6NO2+·C2O42−·2CH3OH, (B), are new examples in the glycine–oxalic acid family. (A) is a new polymorph of the known glycinium semi‐oxalate salt, (C). Compounds (A) and (C) have a similar packing of the semi‐oxalate monoanions with respect to the glycinium cations, but in (A) the two glycinium cations and the two semi‐oxalate anions in the asymmetric unit are non‐equivalent, and the binding of the glycinium cations to each other is radically different. Based on this difference, one can expect that, although the two forms grow concomitantly from the same batch, a transformation between (A) and (C) in the solid state should be difficult. In (B), two glycinium cations and an oxalate anion, which sits across a centre of inversion, are linked via strong short O—H...O hydrogen bonds to form the main structural fragment, similar to that in diglycinium oxalate, (D). Methanol solvent molecules are embedded between the glycinium cations of neighbouring fragments. These fragments form a three‐dimensional network via N—H...O hydrogen bonds. Salts (B) and (D) can be obtained from the same solution by, respectively, slow or rapid antisolvent crystallization.  相似文献

A two‐dimensional MnII coordination polymer (CP), poly[bis[μ2‐2,6‐bis(imidazol‐1‐yl)pyridine‐κ2N3:N3′]bis(thiocyanato‐κN)manganese] [Mn(NCS)2(C11H9N5)2]n, (I), has been obtained by the self‐assembly reaction of Mn(ClO4)2·6H2O, NH4SCN and bent 2,6‐bis(imidazol‐1‐yl)pyridine (2,6‐bip). CP (I) was characterized by FT–IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The crystal structure features a unique two‐dimensional (4,4) network with one‐dimensional channels. The luminescence and nitrobenzene‐sensing properties were explored in a DMF suspension, revealing that CP (I) shows a strong luminescence emission and is highly sensitive for nitrobenzene detection.  相似文献

Mononuclear palladium‐hydroxo complexes of the type [Pd(N–N)(C6F5)(OH)][(N–N) = 2,2′‐bipyridine (bipy), 4,4′‐dimethyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine (Me2bipy), 1,10‐phenantroline (phen) or N,N,N′,N′‐tetramethylethylenediamine (tmeda) react with phenols ArOH in tetrahydrofuran giving the corresponding aryloxo complexes [Pd(N–N)(C6F5)(OAr)]. Elemental analyses and spectroscopic (IR, 1H and 19F) methods have been used to characterize the new complexes. The X‐ray crystal structure of [Pd(tmeda)(C6F5)(OC6H4NO2p)] has been determined. In the crystal packing the planes defined by two C6H4 rings show a parallel orientation. There are also intermolecular C–H···F and C‐H···O hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The crystal structures of the 1:1 proton‐transfer compounds of 4,5‐dichlorophthalic acid with the three isomeric monoaminobenzoic acids, namely the hydrate 2‐carboxyanilinium 2‐carboxy‐4,5‐dichlorobenzoate dihydrate, C7H8NO2+·C8H3Cl2O4·2H2O, (I), and the anhydrous salts 3‐carboxyanilinium 2‐carboxy‐4,5‐dichlorobenzoate, C7H8NO2+·C8H3Cl2O4, (II), and 4‐carboxyanilinium 2‐carboxy‐4,5‐dichlorobenzoate, C7H8NO2+·C8H3Cl2O4, (III), have been determined at 130 K. Compound (I) has a two‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonded sheet structure, while (II) and (III) are three‐dimensional. All three compounds feature sheet substructures formed through anilinium N+—H...Ocarboxyl and anion carboxylic acid O—H...Ocarboxyl interactions and, in the case of (I), additionally linked through the donor and acceptor associations of the solvent water molecules. However, (II) and (III) have additional lateral extensions of these substructures though cyclic R22(8) associations involving the carboxylic acid groups of the cations. Also, (II) and (III) have cation–anion π–π aromatic ring interactions. This work provides further examples illustrating the regular formation of network substructures in the 1:1 proton‐transfer salts of 4,5‐dichlorophthalic acid with the bifunctional aromatic amines.  相似文献

In the tridentate ligand 2,6‐bis(1‐benzyl‐1H‐1,2,3‐triazol‐4‐yl)pyridine, C23H19N7, both sets of triazole N atoms are anti with respect to the pyridine N atom, while in the copper complex aqua[2,6‐bis(1‐benzyl‐1H‐1,2,3‐triazol‐4‐yl)pyridine](pyridine)(tetrafluoroborato)copper(II) tetrafluoroborate, [Cu(BF4)(C5H5N)(C23H19N7)(H2O)]BF4, the triazole N atoms are in the synsyn conformation. The coordination of the CuII atom is distorted octahedral. The ligand structure is stabilized through intermolecular C—H...N interactions, while the crystal structure of the Cu complex is stabilized through water‐ and BF4‐mediated hydrogen bonds. Photoluminiscence studies of the ligand and complex show that the ligand is fluorescent due to triazole–pyridine conjugation, but that the fluorescence is quenched on complexation.  相似文献
