We investigate classes of the so-called ring Q-homeomorphisms including, in particular, Q-homeomorphisms, various classes of homeomorphisms with finite length distortion, Sobolev’s classes etc. In terms of the majorant Q(x), we give a series of criteria for normality based on estimates of the distortion of the spherical distance under ring Q-homeomorphisms. In particular, it is shown that the class of all ring Q-homeomorphisms f of a domain D ⊂ ℝ n into , n ≥ 2, with , forms a normal family, if Q(x) has finite mean oscillation in D. We also prove normality of , for instance, if Q(x) has singularities of logarithmic type whose degrees are not greater than n − 1 at every point xD. The results are applicable, in particular, to mappings with finite length distortion and Sobolev’s classes.  相似文献

Various theorems on convergence of general spatial homeomorphisms are proved and, on this basis, theorems on convergence and compactness for classes of the so-called ring Q-homeomorphisms are obtained. In particular, it is established that a family of all ring Q-homeomorphisms f in ? n fixing two points is compact provided that the function Q is of finite mean oscillation. The corresponding applications have been given to mappings in the Sobolev classes W loc 1,p for the case p > n ? 1.  相似文献

Let IK be an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0 complete for an ultrametric absolute value. Following results obtained in complex analysis, here we examine problems of uniqueness for meromorphic functions having finitely many poles, sharing points or a pair of sets (C.M. or I.M.) defined either in the whole field IK or in an open disk, or in the complement of an open disk. Following previous works in C, we consider functions fn(x)fm(ax + b), gn(x)gm(ax + b) with |a| = 1 and nm, sharing a rational function and we show that f/g is a n + m-th root of 1 whenever n + m ≥ 5. Next, given a small function w, if n, m ∈ IN are such that |n ? m| ≥ 5, then fn(x)fm(ax + b) ? w has infinitely many zeros. Let H be a finite abelian group of odd order, D be its generalized dihedral group, i.e., the semidirect product of C2 acting on H by inverting elements, where C2 is the cyclic group of order two. Let Ω (D) be the Burnside ring of D, Δ(D) be the augmentation ideal of Ω (D). Denote by Δn(D) and Qn(D) the nth power of Δ(D) and the nth consecutive quotient group Δn(D)/Δn+1(D), respectively. This paper provides an explicit Z-basis for Δn(D) and determines the isomorphism class of Qn(D) for each positive integer n.  相似文献

Given a large positive number x and a positive integer k, we denote by Qk(x) the set of congruent elliptic curves E(n): y2= z3- n2 z with positive square-free integers n x congruent to one modulo eight,having k prime factors and each prime factor congruent to one modulo four. We obtain the asymptotic formula for the number of congruent elliptic curves E(n)∈ Qk(x) with Mordell-Weil ranks zero and 2-primary part of Shafarevich-Tate groups isomorphic to(Z/2Z)2. We also get a lower bound for the number of E(n)∈ Qk(x)with Mordell-Weil ranks zero and 2-primary part of Shafarevich-Tate groups isomorphic to(Z/2Z)4. The key ingredient of the proof of these results is an independence property of residue symbols. This property roughly says that the number of positive square-free integers n x with k prime factors and residue symbols(quadratic and quartic) among its prime factors being given compatible values does not depend on the actual values.  相似文献

We consider the families of polynomials P = { P n (x)} n=0 and Q = { Q n (x)} n=0 orthogonal on the real line with respect to the respective probability measures μ and ν. We assume that { Q n (x)} n=0 and {P n (x)} n=0 are connected by linear relations. In the case k = 2, we describe all pairs (P,Q) for which the algebras A P and A Q of generalized oscillators generated by { Qn(x)} n=0 and { Pn(x)} n=0 coincide. We investigate the equiconvergence on TN = [?π, π)N of expansions in multiple trigonometric Fourier series and in the Fourier integrals of functions fLp(TN) and gLp(RN), p > 1, N ≥ 3, g(x) = f(x) on TN, in the case where the “partial sums” of these expansions, i.e., Sn(x; f) and Jα(x; g), respectively, have “numbers” n ∈ ZN and α ∈ RN (nj = [αj], j = 1,..., N, [t] is the integral part of t ∈ R1) containing N ? 1 components which are elements of “lacunary sequences.”  相似文献

For Hausdorff operator defined by a measure on p-adic linear space Q p n we give the exact values for its norms in power type Morrey space,BMO(Q p n ) and BLO(Q p n ). Let R be a subring ring of Q. We reserve the symbol p for the least prime which is not a unit in R; if R ?Q, then p=∞. Denote by DGL n np , n≥1, the category of (n-1)-connected np-dimensional differential graded free Lie algebras over R. In [1] D. Anick has shown that there is a reasonable concept of homotopy in the category DGL n np . In this work we intend to answer the following two questions: Given an object (L(V), ?) in DGL n 3n+2 and denote by S(L(V), ?) the class of objects homotopy equivalent to (L(V), ?). How we can characterize a free dgl to belong to S(L(V), ?)? Fix an object (L(V), ?) in DGL n 3n+2 . How many homotopy equivalence classes of objects (L(W), δ) in DGL n 3n+2 such that H * (W, d′)?H * (V, d) are there? Note that DGL n 3n+2 is a subcategory of DGL n np when p>3. Our tool to address this problem is the exact sequence of Whitehead associated with a free dgl.  相似文献

Let f(n) be the largest integer such that every poset on n elements has a 2-dimensional subposet on f(n) elements. What is the asymptotics of f(n)? It is easy to see that f(n) = n 1/2. We improve the best known upper bound and show f(n) = O (n 2/3). For higher dimensions, we show \(f_{d}(n)=\O \left (n^{\frac {d}{d + 1}}\right )\), where f d (n) is the largest integer such that every poset on n elements has a d-dimensional subposet on f d (n) elements.  相似文献

Rf) + Qf and, as a particular case, operators generated by expressions of the form l[f] = ?(P0f')' + i((Q0f)' + Q0f') + P'1f, where everywhere the derivatives are understood in the sense of distributions and P0, Q0, and P1 are Hermitianmatrix functions of order n with Lebesgue measurable elements such that P0?1 exists and ∥P0∥, ∥P0?1∥, ∥P0?1∥∥P12, ∥P0?1∥∥Q02Lloc1(R+). Themain goal in this paper is to study of the deficiency index of the minimal operator L0 generated by expression l[f] in Ln2(R+) in terms of the matrix functions P, Q, and R (P0, Q0, and P1). The obtained results are applied to differential operators generated by expressions of the form \(l[f] = - f'' + \sum\limits_{k = 1}^{ + \infty } {{H_k}} \delta \left( {x - {x_k}} \right)f\), where xk, k = 1, 2,..., is an increasing sequence of positive numbers, with limk→+∞xk = +∞, Hk is a number Hermitian matrix of order n, and δ(x) is the Dirac δ-function.  相似文献

A subgroup is called c-semipermutable in G if A has a minimal supplement T in G such that for every subgroup T 1 of T there is an element xT satisfying AT 1 x = T 1 x A. In this note, we study the admissible meromorphic solutions for algebraic differential equation fnf' + Pn?1(f) = R(z)eα(z), where Pn?1(f) is a differential polynomial in f of degree ≤ n ? 1 with small function coefficients, R is a non-vanishing small function of f, and α is an entire function. We show that this equation does not possess any meromorphic solution f(z) satisfying N(r, f) = S(r, f) unless Pn?1(f) ≡ 0. Using this result, we generalize a well-known result by Hayman.  相似文献

The Ramsey number r(K 3,Q n ) is the smallest integer N such that every red-blue colouring of the edges of the complete graph K N contains either a red n-dimensional hypercube, or a blue triangle. Almost thirty years ago, Burr and Erd?s conjectured that r(K 3,Q n )=2 n+1?1 for every n∈?, but the first non-trivial upper bound was obtained only recently, by Conlon, Fox, Lee and Sudakov, who proved that r(K 3,Q n )?7000·2 n . The paper studies the additive structure of the algebra F(7), i.e., a relatively free associative countably generated algebra with the identity [x1,..., x7] = 0 over an infinite field of characteristic ≠ 2, 3. First, the space of proper multilinear polynomials in this algebra is investigated. As an application, estimates for the codimensions cn = dimFn(7) are obtained, where Fn(7) stands for the subspace of multilinear polynomials of degree n in the algebra F(7).  相似文献

A subposet Q of a poset Q is a copy of a poset P if there is a bijection f between elements of P and Q such that xy in P iff f(x) ≤ f(y) in Q. For posets P, P , let the poset Ramsey number R(P, P ) be the smallest N such that no matter how the elements of the Boolean lattice Q N are colored red and blue, there is a copy of P with all red elements or a copy of P with all blue elements. We provide some general bounds on R(P, P ) and focus on the situation when P and P are both Boolean lattices. In addition, we give asymptotically tight bounds for the number of copies of Q n in Q N and for a multicolor version of a poset Ramsey number.  相似文献
