Chemical preparation, X-ray single crystal, thermal analysis, and IR spectrometric investigation of (C4H12N)2SO4, denoted tBAS, are described. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system with C2/c space group. Its unit cell dimensions are a = 11.1585(5) Å, b = 6.2148(4) Å, c = 20.070(1) Å, = 102.004(4)°, V = 1361.4(1) Å3, and Z = 4. The crystal structure of tBAS can be described as a typical thick layered organization built by all the components of the structure and centered by planes z = 1/4 and 3/4. Connection in these layers are established by N—H···O hydrogen bonds. Thermal analysis shows a reversible weak phase transition.  相似文献

1-Methyl-2-phenylindolizine-3-acetonitrile was unexpectedly obtained in the reaction of 1-methyl-2-phenylindolizine-3-thioaldehyde with cyanide ions. Its structure was determined by IR, 1H NMR, MS, elemental analyses, and X-ray crystallography. Colorless regular prism shaped crystals of C17H14N2 crystallize in the space group C2/c with cell dimensions a = 12.956(3) Å, b =10.516(2) Å, c = 20.429(4) Å, and = 90°, = 104.98(3)°, = 90°, V =2688.7(9) Å3, D calc =1.217 Mg/m3, and Z = 8.  相似文献

Quinoline-2-carboxylic acid (quinaldic acid), C10H7NO2, crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c, a =9.724(1) Å, b = 5.937(1) Å, c = 27.545(2) Å, = 90.15(1)°, z = 4, and occurs in the crystal in two tautomeric forms: the neutral molecule and the zwitterion, with molecular ratio 1:1. The compound can be named quinoline-2-carboxylic acid quinolinium-2-carboxylate. The crystal structure is built up of tautomeric pairs consisting of C9H6NCOOH and C9H6NH+COO moieties, held up together by hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The crystal and molecular structure of a series of 3,8-di[-2-aryl-1-azenyl]-1,3,6,8-tetraazabicyclo[4.4.1]undecanes (1–5) have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. In all five compounds, the tetraazabicycloundecane portion of the molecule assumes a cage-like, folded structure with the aryltriazene moieties aligned approximately parallel; the structure is held in the folded configuration by either intramolecular or intermolecular – stacking forces. Synthesis, crystal structure refinement, phase transitions studied by thermal analysis, and IR spectroscopic investigation of 2C6H9N2 < eqid2 > ⋅SO42− are reported. The title compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c (no. 15) with a = 10.5068(4) Å, b = 10.2225(5) Å, c = 14.0422(7) Å, and β = 104.489(3). A crystal packing diagram shows layers built by all the components of the structure and centered by planes z = 1/4 and 3/4. The pyridine substituents stack forming channels parallel to the c direction with dimensions of 4.163(1) Å and 5.148(4) Å. Thermal analysis shows that the anhydrous compound possesses an irreversible weak phase transition.  相似文献

Crystal structure of two brom containing aza-tetracyclic fused N-heterocycles including isoxazolidine ring compounds have been determined in single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The compound, C14H19BrN2O3, (1), and C12H15BrN2O3, (2), were obtained from a stereospecific[3+2] 1,3-cycloaddition of oxime based tandem nitrone generation reactions. The envelope conformation of the isoxazolidine rings are different, leading the substituents to be pseudoaxial in (1) and pseudoequatorial in (2). The stereochemistry of these fused compounds are exo- and endo-stereoisomer geometry contributed by exo and endo transition state of nitrone 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reactions. The title compound (1) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2 1/n with a = 12.6221(5)Å, b = 7.5917(4) Å, c = 16.2350(9) Å, = 112.254(5)°, V = 1439.81(12) Å3, and D calc = 1.583 Mg/m3 for Z = 4 and compound (2) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2 1/c with a = 11.6906(9) Å, b = 6.4255(7) Å, c = 17.2070(10) Å, = 109.264(5)°, V = 1220.2(2) Å3, and D calc = 1.716 Mg/m3 for Z = 4. The antibacterial activity of both compounds were investigated for three Gram (+) and two Gram (–) bacteria by employing broth microdilution method and subsequently inhibitory activity against yeast-like fungi was also determined.  相似文献

1-(4-Chloro-benzoyl)-3-naphthalen-1-yl-thiourea has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. The crystal and molecular structure of the title compound has been determined from single crystal X-ray diffraction data. It crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1, with a = 6.962(1) Å, b = 10.770(3) Å, c = 11.738(2) Å, = 65.76(2)°, = 80.03(1)°, = 84.86(2)°, and D calc= 1.432 g cm–1 for Z = 2. The thermal behavior of the compound has been studied by DTA and TG. The antibacterial activities of the title compound were investigated for three Gram (+) and two Gram (–) bacteria by employing broth microdilution method and subsequently, inhibitory activity against yeast-like fungi was also determined.  相似文献

The salt of bis(2,3,5-trimethylpyridine N-oxide) 2,4,6-trinitrophenolate, C22H25N5O9, crystallizes in monoclinic space group C2/c with a=12.411(2)Å, b=15.326(3)Å, c=13.559(3)Å, =113.13(1)°, V=2371.8(8)Å3, Z=4, D c=1.410 mg/m3, F(000)=1056. The molecule of 2,3,5-trimethylpyridine N-oxide is protonated. Two pyridine N-oxide molecules are linked by extremely strong OHO hydrogen bonding (2.378(4)Å) to form a cation complex. The crystal and molecular structure of a series of 3,7-bis(arylazo)-1,3,5,7-tetraazabicyclo[3.3.1] nonanes (1ad) have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. All four compounds have the same feature, that the tetraazabicyclononane unit assumes a cage-like structure with the aryltriazene moieties lying parallel to one another so that the aryl rings are held together by – stacking. A cobalt(II) complex, [Co(PMBP-smdtc)2]2H2O, in which PMBP-smdtc is the l-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-5-pyrazolone Schiff base of S-methyldithiocarbazate, has been synthesized and characterized by IR spectrum and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal is monoclinic: space group C2/c, with a = 12.455(2) Å, b = 16.024(2) Å, c = 20.513(3) Å, = 101.18(1)°, V = 4016.3(10) Å3, and Z = 4. The cobalt ion is octahedrally coordinated by two tridentate Schiff base ligands with ONS donor atoms. The molecules are bridged together by two water molecules through H-bond along b axis and one-dimensional indented chain structure is formed.  相似文献

Benzenehexacarboxylic acid, mellitic acid (MA), has been used as a core motif to study possible radial self-assembly using complementary aromatic bases. By mixing water solutions of the components, crystals of the salts of MA with 4-aminopyridine (AP), 4-dimethylamino-pyridine (DM), 2,2-bipyridine (DP), o-phenanthroline (PL), and melamine (ML) have been obtained. The MAn ions have assembled in either extended sheets for MA–2 or extended ribbons for MA–4 by direct hydrogen bonding between MA and MA and additionally through mediation of hydrogen bonds to water molecules that distribute the negative charges throughout the MA sheet or ribbon. Most of the O atoms in carboxyl groups in the MA ions in the five complexes have been rotated significantly out of the plane of the central benzene ring. There are multiple base molecules, two or four, for each mellitic acid ion in the five complexes. Most of the NH+ moieties in all five bases make direct NH+ O–C hydrogen bonds with MAn . The planar base ions are generally arranged in stacks in which the components range from being parallel, with interplanar separations of 3.5 Å, to having a considerable tilt with respect to each other with nearest interplanar separation of atoms greater than 3.9 Å. These geometric characteristics are reflected in the color of the crystals. The three-dimensional networking makes some of the crystals very hard. The title compound was synthesized by mixing the separately dissolved trans-dichlorobis(ethylenediamine)cobalt(III) chloride and sodium 4-aminobenzoate in aqueous medium in 1:3 molar ratio and recrystallizing the product obtained, from hot water. Elemental analyses and spectroscopic techniques (IR, UV/visible, 1H and 13C NMR) were used for characterizing the complex salt. X-ray structure determination revealed an ionic structure consisting of [Co(en)2(C7H6NO2)2]+ cation, (C7H6NO2) anion and four lattice water molecules. The complex salt crystallizes in the triclinic space group P with cell dimensions a = 9.985(1) Å, b = 11.522(1) Å, c = 14.233(1) Å, α = 80.20(1), β = 72.80(1), γ = 86.43(1), Z = 2, V = 1541.3(2) Å3, R1 = 0.0291, and wR2 = 0.0751.  相似文献

Crystallographic structural refinement of E-4-(N-methylanilino)-3-pentene-2-one (I) has been carried out by means of three-dimensional single-crystal X-ray diffractometry. The title compound crystallizes in space group C2 (No. 5,Z = 4). The lattice constants are a = 21.543(4), b = 6.433(1), c = 8.019(2) Å, and = 97.82(3)°. Characterizations include physical property determinations and spectrometric identifications employing IR, 1H and 13C NMR, and X-ray powder analyses. The molecules in the crystal lattice are held together by van der Waals forces. Selected bond distances and angles are presented and discussed as well as synthesis and peripheral studies.  相似文献

The inclusion compound built of tetra-n-butylammonium bromide-thiourea (1/2), [(n-C4H9)4N+Br 2(NH2)2CS], has been prepared and characterized by X-ray crystallography. The compound crystalline in orthorhombic space group Pbca, with a = 16.872(6) Å, b = 17.214(6) Å, c = 18.561(6) Å, V = 5390(3) Å3, Z = 8. The compound features a sandwich-like crystal structure built up from planar layers. In the crystal structure, zigzag hydrogen-bonded thiourea ribbons are linked by bromide anions to generate puckered layers matching the (100) planes, and the (n-C4H9)4N+ cations occupy the intervening space.  相似文献

The crystal structures of the three fluorene related molecules, (I) 2-(9,9-dipropylfluorene-2-yl)-9,9-dipropylfluorene, [Exalite 384, C38H42], (II) 2-(1,1-dimethylpropyl)-7-{4-[(1,1-dimethylpropyl)-9,9-diethylfluoren-2-yl] phenyl}-9,9-diethylfluorene, [Exalite 404, C50 H58], and (III) 2-(4-ethylphenyl)-7-[7-(ethylphenyl)-9,9-dipropylfluoren-2-yl]-9,9-dipropylfluorene, [Exalite 416, C54H58], have been determined. Structural details reveal a novel new bonding arrangement at the C2 atoms of symmetry-related fluorene moieties in all three molecules producing a linear type array with an inversion center connecting adjacent asymmetric units within each molecule. Exalite 384 is monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 9.002(2) Å, b = 16.275(4) Å, c = 10.525(1) Å, = 103.05(1), and V = 1502.1(5) Å3 with Z = 4, for d calc = 1.103 g/cm3. Exalite 404 is triclinic, space group P1 with a = 10.383(1) Å, b = 13.404(2) Å, c = 7.7007(9) Å, = 105.296(9), = 104.23(1), = 73.707(9), and V = 974.9(2) Å3 with Z = 2, for d calc = 1.141.
