The effect of ultrasound treatment on molecular mobility and organization of the main components in raw goat milk was studied by EPR and NMR spectroscopies. NMR relaxation studies showed an increase in the spin–lattice T1 and spin–spin T2 relaxation times in goat milk products (cream, anhydrous fat) and change in the diffusion of proton-containing molecules during ultrasound treatment. The diffusion became more uniform and could be rather accurately approximated by one effective diffusion coefficient Deff, which indicates homogenization of goat milk components, dispersion of globular and supermicellar formations under sonication. EPR studies have shown that molecular mobility and organization of hydrophobic regions in goat milk are similar to those observed in micellar formations of surfactants with a hydrocarbon chain length C12–C16. Ultrasound treatment did not affect submicellar and protein globule organization. Free radicals arising under ultrasound impact of milk reacted quickly with components of goat milk (triglycerides, proteins, fatty acids) and were not observed by spin trapping method.  相似文献

The effects of ultrasound application on skim milk (10% w/w total solids at natural pH 6.7 or alkali-adjusted to pH 8.0) prior to the renneting of milk at pH 6.7 were examined. Skim milk, made by reconstituting skim milk powder, was sonicated at 20 kHz and 30 °C (dissipated power density 286 kJ kg−1) in an ultrasonic reactor. The rennet gelation time, curd firming rate, curd firmness, and the connectivity of the rennet gel network were improved significantly in rennet gels made from milk ultrasonicated at pH 8.0 and re-adjusted back to pH 6.7 compared to those made from milk sonicated at pH 6.7. These renneting properties were also improved in milk sonicated at pH 6.7 compared to those of the non-sonicated control milk. The improvements in renneting behavior were related to ultrasound-induced changes to the proteins in the milk. This study showed that ultrasonication has potential to be used as an intervention to manipulate the renneting properties of milk for more efficient manufacturing of cheese.  相似文献

A capillary rheometer with an attached counter pressure chamber was used to determine the effect of pressure on the shear viscosity of several polymer melts, i.e., poly(?-caprolactam) (PA6), poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET), low-density polyethylene (LDPE), and polypropylene (PP). In order to study the rheological properties of the polymer melts at a constant pressure, the measured values of shear viscosity were recalculated with respect to a series of pressures by the least square fitting based on the Barus equation. Different calculation methods were used to calculate the pressure coefficients from the recalculated viscosity values. The resulting pressure coefficients of the shear viscosity demonstrated that the degree of the pressure dependence was highest for PP, followed by PET and then LDPE. PA6 exhibited the lowest pressure coefficient.  相似文献

The effects of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on the morphology of uncompatibilized and maleic anhydride-grafted polypropylene (MAPP)-compatibilized polyamide 6 (PA6)/polypropylene (PP) (70/30 w/w) blends prepared using a torque rheometer were investigated. TEM observations showed that the CNTs were selectively located in the major PA6 phase and at the interface. Such localization of nanofillers in the literature usually leads to a refinement in a sea-island morphology. Unexpectedly, our results show that increasing amounts of CNTs in the samples prepared using a torque rheometer led to a transformation from typical sea-island morphology to co-continuous morphology for uncompatibilized PA6/PP blends and to partial fibrillization of the PP domains for MAPP-compatibilized PA6/PP blends. These unusual morphological changes are attributed to a retarded morphology evolution process caused by the CNTs. According to rheological measurements and theoretical analysis, this was achieved through the role of CNTs in enhancing the viscoelasticity of the PA6 phase and promoting interfacial slip. The electrical resistivites, crystallization, and melting behavior of all samples were also studied.  相似文献

Pimelic acid (PA) was used as a new surface modifier for CaCO3. The effects of PA treatment on the crystallization, morphology, and mechanical properties of PP/CaCO3 composites were investigated. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy analysis revealed that PA bonded to CaCO3 and formed a calcium pimelate surface layer after reacting with CaCO3. The results of wide angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and polarized light microscopy (PLM) proved that the PA treated CaCO3 induced a large amount of β -iPP and decreased the spherulitic size of PP. The results of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed that the PA treatment enhanced the interfacial adhesion between the filler and the matrix, indicating the improvement of the compatibility between PP and CaCO3. The toughness of the composites was improved by the more ductile β -form spherulites. When 1% of PA treated CaCO3 was added, the notched impact strength reached its maximum, a value of 19.79 kJ/m2, which was 3.64 times greater than that of the pure PP.  相似文献

Polyamide 6(PA 6)/Polypropylene (PP) blends as well as PA 6/PP/clay composites were prepared by melt compounding. The distribution of clay was characterized by transmission electron microscopy. The combustion surface morphology as well as product composition after burning were studied by scanning electron microscopy along with electro-probe microanalysis. Moreover, the flame retardance and thermal stability were evaluated by a cone calorimeter together with thermogravimetric analysis. The results showed that the clay was selectively located in the PA6 phase. It is proposed that, in the presence of clay, the combustion surface changed from a branch-shaped structure to a compact carbonaceous–silicate structure. When the clay content was 3 phr, the layered silicates became enriched on part of the surface and formed an island-like structure; the islands displayed a loose cinders structure with much higher silicon content, in contrast to a branch-shaped surface with low silicon content of the surrounding polymer substrate. As the clay content continued to increase, the char covered most of the combustion surface and more clay accumulated on the burning surface. In addition, the clay particles promoted the formation of the carbonaceous–silicate structure. The peak of the heat release rate of the PA6/PP blend decreased with increasing addition of clay and the thermal stability of the PA6/PP blend also improved.  相似文献

Commercially pure (99.9%) copper was severe plastically deformed by equal-channel angular pressing (ECAP) following route-Bc in three different processing regimes in order to obtain ultrafine-grained (UFG) microstructures leading to improved mechanical properties. In regime-1, the billets were processed at room temperature up to eight passes. The billets were processed at 200°C up to eight passes in regime-2. Regime-3 is a hybrid regime by which the billets were deformed at 200°C up to four passes first, and these billets were then processed at room temperature for one, two and four passes. In all regimes, the ECAP processing results in a refinement of the conventionally grained (CG) initial microstructure of copper down to sub-micron level leading to a great improvement in the strength as compared to CG copper. Among the regimes applied, regime-3 was found to be the best regime for improvement in strength along with adequate ductility. The samples showed more than eight times increases in yield strength after processing in regime-3 for 4?+?4 passes, from 47?MPa for CG copper to about 408?MPa for the UFG sample. Such improvement in strength was accompanied by a 16.9% total elongation and 6% uniform elongation. The processing in regime-2 resulted in the best elongation to failure of about 22% after eight passes, but it gave the lowest strength values among others.  相似文献

We have studied the temperature and magnetic field dependence of the electrical resistivity of GdCu(6) and have co-related the results with the temperature dependence of heat capacity and magnetization. The magnetoresistance of GdCu(6) is found to be positive both in the paramagnetic and antiferromagnetic regimes. Within the antiferromagnetic regime, the magnetoresistance is very high and increases to still higher values both with increasing field and decreasing temperature. In the paramagnetic regime the magnetoresistance continues to exhibit a finite positive value up to temperatures much higher than that corresponding to the antiferromagnetic to paramagnetic phase transition. We have shown through quantitative analysis that both the temperature dependences of resistivity and heat capacity indicate the presence of spin fluctuations within the paramagnetic regime of GdCu(6). The field dependence of electrical resistivity indicates that the positive magnetoresistance in the paramagnetic phase is not related to the orbital motion of the conduction electrons in a magnetic field (the Kohler rule). In contrast, our analysis indicates that these spin fluctuations are responsible for the positive magnetoresistance observed within this paramagnetic regime. The nature of the field dependence of electrical resistivity is found to be qualitatively similar both in the antiferromagnetic and paramagnetic regimes, which probably indicates that spin fluctuations in the paramagnetic regime are of the antiferromagnetic type.  相似文献

This paper presents the design and performance enhancement of the power penalty (PP) in a dense wavelength division multiplexing based on free space optical communication (FSOC) link using digital pulse position modulation (DPPM) and on–off keying (OOK) modulation. Such a system has a high performance, low cost, robust and power efficient, reliable, excessive flexibility, and higher data rate for access networks. The system performance is evaluated for an 8-channel wavelength-division-multiplexing for hybrid fiber FSOC system at 2.5 Gbps on widely accepted modulation schemes under various atmospheric turbulence (AT) regimes conditions. The performance of system is introduced in terms of PP, bit-error rate (BER), transmission distance and the average received optical power. The numerical results shows that the improvement of the PP using DPPM modulation of 0.2–3.0 dB for weak turbulence (WT) regimes for BER of 10?6 and above 20, 25 dB for strong turbulence (ST) regimes are reported for BER of 10?6 and 10?9, as respectively (depending on the AT level). Further, we develop of improvement the PP caused by multiple-access interference about 6.686 dB which is predicted for target BER of 10?9 in WT and 1 dB at target BER of 10?6 in ST when the 8 user are active on the system of optical network units. Additionally, the optical power budget and margin losses of a system are calculated with different link length. The proposed approach of DPPM merges superiority with higher enhancement of PP about 0.8 dB for BER equal 10?9 at FSO link length lfso?=?2000 m compared to OOK at 1 dB for WT. An improvement of 2 dB is observed using the DPPM scheme over an OOK due to capability of detect pulses under background noise conditions with increased receiver sensitivity.  相似文献

Polyamide66/polypropylene (PA66/PP) blend, graphite (Gr)-filled PA66/PP composite and nanoclay (NC)-filled PA66/PP nanocomposites were prepared by twin screw extrusion and injection molding. Three-body abrasive wear behaviour of the injection moulded composites was carried out using a rubber wheel abrasion wear tester. In this study, angular silica sand and quartz particles of size ranging from 200 to 250 μm were used as dry and loose abrasives. The tests were carried out for 150, 300, 450 and 600 m abrading distances at a constant load of 36 N. It was observed that inclusion of particulate fillers in PA66/PP have significant influence on wear under varied abrading distances for different abrasive particles. Further, it was found that NC-filled PA66/PP nanocomposite exhibited lower wear rate compared to Gr filled ones for different abrasive particles. In addition, the worn surfaces of the samples were examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the morphology was also discussed.  相似文献

Only few data are available on intestinal calcium absorption from foodstuffs and composite meals in humans. The aim of the study was to compare intraindividually the calcium absorption from milk and from a breakfast with that from a pharmaceutical calcium preparation of equal calcium content. In 8 healthy volunteers between 44 and 58 years of age, the intestinal calcium absorption was measured in randomized order applying the double isotope technique from: (1) 500ml of fresh milk (equivalent to 620mg Ca), (2) a test meal composed of 250 g curd, 150g yoghurt, 3 slices pineapple, 2 breakfast rolls, 2 cups of coffee, 10g of coffee cream, 20g butter, 50g jam and 20g honey (equivalent to 580mg Ca), and (3) a lactogluconate effervescent tablet (equivalent to 500mgCa). All test doses were given on an empty stomach and labelled with 20mg 44Ca. Simultaneously, 5mg 42Ca in a sterile isotonic solution were injected intravenously. The mean values of the absorbed fractions are 24.0% +/- 5.4% (mean +/-SD), 17.9% +/- 7.1%, and 28.7% +/- 9.1% for the milk, for the meal and for the tablet respectively. The data show that less calcium is absorbed from foodstuffs as compared to a preparation of optimal bioavailability. But in this study only the difference between absorption from the milk and from the meal was statistically significant. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a sufficient calcium supply of the human body also by properly selected foodstuffs.  相似文献

The contents of macro- and microelements in cow, goat, and human milk from Croatia were measured and compared for the first time. The highest concentrations of element were measured in milk cow: calcium 1.4 g/kg, sodium 0.6 g/kg, zinc 4.0 mg/kg, strontium 0.4 mg/kg; goat: magnesium 0.2 g/kg, potassium 2.2 g/kg, iron 0.8 mg/kg, manganese 71 µg/kg, selenium 35 µg/kg, molybdenum 20 µg/kg, chromium 72 µg/kg, lithium 14 µg/kg; and human: copper 193 µg/kg. Equal content of molybdenum (20 µg/kg) was determined in cow and goat milk. Significant differences in element levels between the three species were determined. Concentrations of magnesium, manganese, selenium, chromium, and lithium in goat milk were significantly higher than in cow milk. Significantly lower levels of calcium, potassium, sodium, magnesium, zinc, selenium, and strontium were determined in human milk than in cow and goat milk. Chromium content was significantly higher in goat than in human milk. Copper content in human milk was significantly higher than in cow milk. Correlations, mostly moderate and positive, were found between elements in cow and goat milk.  相似文献

运用多重光散射光谱、多散斑扩散波光谱和动态光散射光谱分析了柠檬酸钠(TSC)对谷氨酰胺转移酶(TG酶)山羊乳凝胶特性的影响。将浓度分别为0,20,40,60和80 mmol·L-1 的TSC加入到脱脂羊乳中,经过TG酶处理后进行酸化凝乳。凝乳形成过程中,动态光散射光谱显示,随着TSC浓度的增加,酪蛋白胶束的直径从(142.0±11.2) nm下降到(24.4±2.1) nm;在凝胶形成的前5 h内,在不同TSC浓度条件下,样品的背散射光强度分别从41.9%±0.3%,35.8%±0.4%,25.3%±0.5%,10.6%±0.3%和5.3%±0.4%,增加到55.8%±0.6%,49.5%±0.5%,41.9%±0.4%,37.8%±0.4%和30.8%±0.3%,表明TSC的浓度越高,凝胶体系中颗粒的尺寸越小,形成的凝胶构筑单元越小;同时,多散斑扩散波光谱的均方位移曲线显示,凝胶的突变时间分别为31,74,98,151和226 min,表明TSC的浓度越高,山羊乳凝胶形成时间越长;凝胶的持水力与硬度值分析发现,TSC将羊乳酪蛋白胶束分解成更小的颗粒,在TG酶作用下形成更多的共价键连接位点,形成的凝胶具有更高的硬度和持水能力。  相似文献

We study the effect of an external field X on the energy levels of a disordered system by evaluating the parametric number variance (PNV). The weak disorder regime is studied within the Gaussian random matrix theory, while the multifractal regime is studied by considering the q-deformed random matrices. The PNV at both small and large values of X has distinct features in the weak disorder and multifractal regimes that should be observable in numerical studies.  相似文献

The behavior of the 1D Holstein polaron is described, with emphasis on lattice coarsening effects, by distinguishing between adiabatic and nonadiabatic contributions to the local correlations and dispersion properties. The original and unifying systematization of the crossovers between the different polaron behaviors, usually considered in the literature, is obtained in terms of quantum to classical, weak coupling to strong coupling, adiabatic to nonadiabatic, itinerant to self-trapped polarons and large to small polarons. It is argued that the relationship between various aspects of polaron states can be specified by five regimes: the weak-coupling regime, the regime of large adiabatic polarons, the regime of small adiabatic polarons, the regime of small nonadiabatic (Lang-Firsov) polarons, and the transitory regime of small pinned polarons for which the adiabatic and nonadiabatic contributions are inextricably mixed in the polaron dispersion properties. The crossovers between these five regimes are positioned in the parameter space of the Holstein Hamiltonian.  相似文献

Flame spreading over liquid ethanol has been experimentally characterized for ethanol for subflash temperatures, in two different channels. Three different spreading regimes have been observed. A uniform region (with flame velocities close to 10 cm/s) appears for values of the initial surface liquid temperature above a critical value . For values an oscillatory regime occurs. For very low temperatures, , a new uniform regime appears with slow propagation velocities (close to 1 cm/s). ObjectiveTo investigate the feasibility of the relative apparent diffusion coefficient (rADC) values based on readout-segmented echo-planar diffusion sequence in evaluation the effects of low-intensity transcranial ultrasound (LIPUS) on ischemic stroke in rat models at different onset times.MethodsSixty Sprague-Dawley rats (weight, 250 ± 10 g) were divided randomly into six groups (n = 10) to establish a permanent model of distal middle cerebral artery occlusion (dMCAO). The rats were stimulated with ultrasound for 10 min in the LIPUS groups at 0.5 h, 1 h, 3 h, 6 h, and 9 h after dMCAO (denoted as the LIPUS group (0.5 h), LIPUS group (1 h), LIPUS group (3 h), LIPUS group (6 h), LIPUS group (9 h), and Control group without ultrasound stimulation). Magnetic resonance imaging was acquired at 0.5 h and 1 h after dMCAO and then at 1-hour intervals until 12 h. The rADC values were then measured and calculated. The pathological results from the rat brains were obtained after the experiment.ResultsWhen LIPUS was applied 0.5 h after dMCAO, the rate of decline of rADC values in the early stages were significantly reduced and the final rADC values were significantly increased. When LIPUS were applied at 1 h, 3 h, and 6 h, the final rADC values only increased slightly and did not prevent early declines. No significant difference of ultrasound stimulation at 9 h was found.ConclusionThe rADC values demonstrated difference at different time points after dMCAO between with and without LIPUS groups.  相似文献
