A series of double-armed benzo-15-crown-5 lariats (3–8) have been synthesized by the reaction of 4′, 5′-bis(bromomethyl)-benzo-15-crown-5 (2) with 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde, phenol, 4-chlorophenol, 4-methoxyphenol, 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde, and 4-acetamidophenol in 43 ~ 82% yields, respectively. The complex stability constants (K S) and thermodynamic parameters for the stoichiometric 1:1 and/or 1:2 complexes of benzo-15-crown-5 1 and double-armed crown ethers 3–8 with alkali cations (Na+, K+, Rb+) have been determined in methanol–water (V/V=8:2) at 25 °C by means of microcalorimetric titrations. As compared with the parent benzo-15-crown-5 1, double-armed crown ethers 3–8 show unremarkable changes in the complex stability constants upon complexation with Na+, but present significantly enhanced binding ability toward cations larger than the crown cavity by the secondly sandwich complexation. Thermodynamically, the sandwich complexations of crown ethers 3-8 with cations are mostly enthalpy-driven processes accompanied with a moderate entropy loss. The binding ability and selectivity of cations by the double-armed crown ethers are discussed from the viewpoints of the electron density, additional binding site, softness, spatial arrangement, and especially the cooperative binding of two crown ether molecules toward one metal ion.  相似文献

A series of new benzo-15-crown-5 derivatives (16) containing formyl and imine groups were prepared. New formyl crown ethers (1 and 2) were prepared by reaction of 4′,5′-bis(bromomethyl)benzo-15-crown-5 with 2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde (o-vanillin) and 2-hydroxy-5-methoxybenzaldehyde in the presence of NaOH. New Schiff bases (36) were synthesized by the condensation of corresponding aldehydes with 1,3-diaminopropane and 1,4-diaminobutane. Sodium and potassium complexes (1a6a and 1b6b) of the crown compounds forming crystalline complexes of 1:1 (Na+:ligand) and 1:2 (K+:ligand) stoichiometries were also synthesized. The structures of the aldehydes 1 and 2, imines 36 and complexes (1a3a and 1b3b) were confirmed on the basis of elemental analyses, IR, 1H- and 13C-NMR, and mass spectroscopy.  相似文献

Complexation selectivity curves were obtained by theoretical conformational analysis and penalty functions in terms of the conformational factors in the following crown ethers: 15-crown-5; benzo-15-crown-5: 18-crown-6; benzo-18-crown-6; dibenzo-18-crown-6; cyclohexano-18-crown-6. In the last case the effect of cis—trans isomerism in the bridging bonds on the selectivity of complexation with the ligand was investigated. Analysis of the selectivity curves shows that the introduction of aromatic fragments into the macrocycle reduces its adaptive capabilities. Stability constants have been determined with ion selective electrodes for complexes between sodium or potassium bromide in methanol with each of four crown ethers, benzo-15-crown-5 (Ia), dibromobenzo-15-crown-5 (Ib), dimethoxybenzo-15-crown-5 (Ic) and di-n-butoxybenzo-15-crown-5 (Id). Those for (Ib) were significantly lower than the others. The stability constants for complexes between sodium bromide and (Ia) and (Ib) in dimethylformamide (DMF) were found to be about one fifth of the corresponding values in methanol. The conductivity method was used to measure the ion pairing in methanol of sodium bromide alone and in the presence of (Ia), (Ib), or (Ic). Ion pairing is increased on complexation, the association constants being 3.3 mol–1 dm3 for Na+ Br and 20–23 mol–1 dm3 for Na(Ia–c)+ Br. Lipophilic derivatives of benzo-12-crown-4 and naphtho-12-crown-4 have been synthesized. The behavior of the parent compounds and their derivatives in membrane ion-selective electrodes have been studied. Selectivity changes have been observed with the rise in lipophilicity. Crystal structures of the NaI and KI complexes of benzo-12-crown-4 (1 and2) have been determined by X-ray analysis. The alkali metal and iodide ions are in direct contact in2 but not in1. Compound1 [Na(benzo-12-crown-4)2]·I is triclinic, witha=13.368(8),b=10.727(7),c=10.325(4) Å; =73.56(4),=77.73(4), =108.70(5)°;Z=2, space group is . Compound2 [K(benzo-12-crown-4)2·I] is monoclinic, witha=15.807(8),b=12.043(4),c=15.601(6) Å,=117.74(3)°;Z=4, space groupC2/c. In both compounds the cations interact with all oxygen atoms of two crown ether molecules. Correlation of the crystal structures and behavior of the crown ethers in ion-selective membrane electrodes is discussed. New benzo-15-crown-5 derivatives containing nitro, amine and imine groups were prepared. Nitro compound (1) was prepared after the reaction?4′,5′-bis(bromethyl)benzo-15-crown-5 and o-nitrophenol in the presence of NaOH. After reduction process by using hydrazine hydrate and Pd/C amine compound (2) was formed. New crown ether imine compounds (35) were synthesized by the condensation of corresponding crown ether diamine (2) with salicylaldehyde derivatives. Sodium complexes of the crown compounds (1a5a) form crystalline 1:1 (Na+: ligand) complexes with sodium perchlorate. Nickel(II) complexes (3b5b) with 1:1 (Ni2+:ligand) stoichiometries were also been synthesized from the Schiff bases (35). The results indicated that the Schiff base ligands coordinated through the azomethine nitrogen and phenolic oxygen. The extraction ability of compounds (1, 3, 4 and 5) were also evaluated in chloroform by using several alkali and transition metal picrates such as Li+, Na+, K+, Cr3+, Mn2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+ and Pb2+.  相似文献

Extraction of alkali metal picrates by new poly- and bis(crown ether)s containing benzo-15-crown-5 and benzo-18-crown-6 moieties was carried out with chloroform as water-immiscible solvent. The poly- and bis(crown ether)s were found to extract the picrates more effectively than the corresponding monocyclic crown ethers. In particular, poly- and bis(benzo-15-crown-5), and bis(benzo-18-crown-6) are remarkably effective extracting reagents for potassium and rubidium, and for caesium, respectively. Extraction equilibrium constants and the complexation constants in the chloroform phase were also evaluated and the contribution of the complexation constants to the extractability is discussed.  相似文献

用2,6-二羟甲基-4-苯基苯酚分别与二苯并-18-冠-6(2B18C6)、二苯并-24-冠-8(2B24C8)、二苯并-30冠-10(2B30C10)、苯并-15-冠-5(B15C5)、苯并-18-冠-6(B18C6)缩聚合成了五种酚醛型冠醚共聚物。我们用聚冠醚的氯仿溶液萃取苦味酸碱金属盐水溶液,研究了它们对金属离子的络合性能。结果表明,聚冠醚(PB15C5)和(PB18C6)的萃取能力和选择性显著优于相应的单冠醚。  相似文献

The novel dioxime, (4Z,5E)-pyrimidine-2,4,5,6(1H,3H)-tetraone 4,5-dioxime (H2-PTD) was obtained by the interaction of 6-amino-5-nitrosopyrimidine-2,4(1H,3H)-dione with hydroxylamine hydrochloride. X-ray structural analysis determined the 4Z,5E-configuration of the corresponding monoanion, pyrimidine-2,6(1H,3H)-dione-4-iminole-5-iminolate in the inclusion complexes with diazonia-18-crown-6 (1,4,10,13-tetraoxa-7,16-diazoniacyclooctadecane) (H2-DA18C6)2+ (complex (1), stoichiometry 2 : 1), and its ammonium salt in the complex with the cis-syn-cis isomer of dicyclohexano-18-crown-6(DCHA) (cis-syn-cis-2,5,8,15,18,21-hexaoxatricyclo (20.4.0.09,14)hexacosane) (complex (2), stoichiometry 1 : 1). X-ray data were also obtained for the complex of the product of (H2-PTD) cyclization, (1,2,5)-oxadiazolo(3,4-d)pyrimidine-5,7(4H,6H)-dione (OPD) with diaqua diaza-18-crown-6 (complex (3), stoichiometry 2 : 2 : 1).In (1) the (H-PTD)- anions are joined into dimers through the bifurcated OH...N and OH...O hydrogen bonds and alternate with diazonia-18-crown-6 cations in the chains sustained by the NH(crown) ... O and NH(crown) ...N interactions. The chains are further combined into the 3D network via NH...O(crown) hydrogen bonds. In (2) the self-complementarity of the (H-PTD)- anions facilitates their assembly into the chain via OH...N, NH...O and OH...O interactions. The ammonium cations bridge each anion and the DCHA macrocycle with the formation of a ribbon developed along the [101] direction in the unit cell. Ternary complex (3) is built of the neutral species, diaza-18-crown-6, water molecules and dimers of OPD alternated in the chains and held together by OH...O and NH...O hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

Summary Solvent extraction of alkaline earth metal picrates with poly- and bis(crown ether)s containing benzo-15-crown-5- and benzo-18-crown-6 moieties was carried out in a water-chloroform system. The poly- and bis(crown ether)s showed larger extractability for the metal picrates than the corresponding monocyclic crown ethers. Especially, poly- and bis(benzo-15-crown-5), and bis(benzo-18-crown-6) were found to have relatively high extractability and selectivity for Ba2+ and Sr2+, respectively.

Zusammenfassung Poly- und Bis-Kronenether mit Benzo-15-krone-5- und Benzo-18-krone-6-Einheiten wurden zur Extraktion von Erdalkalipikraten im Wasser-Chloroform-System verwendet. Die genannten Ether zeigten eine bessere Extraktionsfähigkeit für die Pikrate als die entsprechenden monocyclischen Kronenether. Im Falle von Ba2+ und Sr2+ ergab sich eine besonders gute Extrahierbarkeit und Selektivität mit Poly- und Bis(benzo-15-krone-5)- und Bis(benzo-18-krone-6)-Ethern.

An unequivocal synthesis of 5-chloro-7-methyl- (8) and 7-methyl-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine (10) from 2-amino-4-chloro-6-methylpyrimidine (5) through the corresponding amidine6 and formamide oxime7 was developed. It was unambigously shown by comparison of the chemical shifts and the magnitude of coupling constants that the compounds obtained by condensation of 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole (12) and ethyl acetoacetate (13) and some further transformations are isomeric 5-methyl substituted 1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines1,9, and11.

Zusammenfassung Es wurde ein eindeutiger Syntheseweg für 5-Chlor-7-methyl- (8) und 7-Methyl-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidin (10) ausgehend von 2-Amino-4-chlor-6-methylpyrimidin (5) über das entsprechende Amidin6 und das Formamidoxim7 entwickelt. Durch Vergleich von chemischen Verschiebungen und Kopplungskonstanten konnte eindeutig gezeigt werden, daß die Verbindungen, die bei der Kondensation von 3-Amino-1,2,4-triazol (12) and Ethylacetoacetat (13), sowie einige weitere Transformationsprodukte, isomere 5-Methylsubstituierte 1,2,4-Triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine sind (1,9,11).

Twelve crown ethers containing one or two arms were synthesized. Two methods were used to attach arms to the azacrown ethers. Ligands 4 - 12 were prepared by a nucleophilic substitution of secondary macrocyclic amine functions on RX ( X=bromide or tosylate groups). Ligands 13 - 15 were obtained via a Mannich reaction of secondary macrocyclic amines with 5-chloro-8-hydroxyquinoline or a substituted-phenol. Diaza-18-crown-6 was treated with 2-bromomethyl-9-methyl-1,10-phenanthroline at the same conditions in which 4 - 8 and 10 - 12 were prepared. In this case, the main product was the diazacrown ether containing one arm. Twelve new aza-crown ethers bearing aromatic and aliphatic side arms were prepared by nucleophilic substitution by secondary macrocyclic amine functions on halide or tosylates or via a Mannich reaction of the macrocyclic secondary amines with phenolic compounds. R=derivatives of pyridine, 8-hydroxyquiniline, and 1-hydroxybiphenyl. Crown ether include aza-15-crown-5 diaza-18-crown-6 diazatrithia-15 (and 16)-crown-6 and diaza-21-crown-7  相似文献

Two crystal structures of cesium tetrabenzo-24-crown-8 complexes are reported. Solvent molecules 4-methylmorpholine (1) and ethylene glycol (2) are observed to coordinate cesium within two clefts created by the cation–crown ether complex. Careful examination of the structures suggests that while both complexes exhibit sterically crowded clefts, the binding of cesium to the crown ether is perturbed only in 2. C—H... hydrogen bonding is observed between the clefts and the included guests. The ethylene glycol complex 2 forms a complex O—H...O hydrogen bond network between free and bound glycol and nitrate.  相似文献

Using Ce(SO4)2 or Mn(OAc)3 as oxidant, dibenzo crown ethers such as dibenzo-18-crown-6 (1) and dibenzo-24-crown-8 (5) and benzo-12-crown-4 (7) reacted smoothly with sodium perfluoroalkanesulfinates (2a-2e) to give the corresponding perfluoroalkylated products (3,4,6,7) in good yields with two isomers obtained in the case of dibenzo crown ethers. Abstract

Complexation constants of Pb2+ and Cd2+ nitrates with five crown compounds (18-crown-6, dicyclohexyl-18-crown-6, benzo-15-crown-5, dibenzo-24-crown-8 and 12-crown-4), have been determined by d.c. and a.c. polarographic measurements in aqueous medium using 0.1 M HNO3 as supporting electrolyte. The complexes of lead with 18-crown-6 and dicyclohexyl-18-crown-6 are very stable which may be attributed to the partially covalent bonds formed by this metal ion.  相似文献

Two new macrocyclic crown ethers containing one or two selenium donor atoms have been prepared. Diselena-18-crown-6 (2) was found to transport silver ions through a methylene chloride bulk membrane at about the same rate as the analogous dithia- (3) and diaza-18-crown-6 (4) compounds and transported lead ions about the same as dithia-18-crown-6 but better than diaza-18-crown-6.  相似文献
