The sensitivity of a transducer should be an important characteristic inthe field of NDT.But so far,no method for this measurement of the sensitivity of atransducer applied to the ultrasonic flaw detection is available.In this paper thetransducer is regarded as a plane source and the reciprocity parameter under thecondition of the far field is derived.We have calibrated the sensitivity of ultrasonictransducers with the reciprocity technique in the solid sample.The experimentsshow and confirm that the transmitting and receiving sensitivities of the transducerapplied to NDT can be exactly measured.The precision of the measurement is with-in ± 1dB under a certain coupling condition.  相似文献

Applications of laser in the field of chemical solubility determination   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A novel experiment method for chemical solubility determination was brought forward, in which optics and chemistry principles are united and the change of laser intensity indicates the process of chemical dissolving. The more undissolved solid exists in the mixture of solute and solvent, the less transmitted laser intensity is detected. Only when the transmitted laser intensity in stirring state and that in static state comes into equalization, the dissolving process stops. Under the help of laser intensity judgement, measurements turn to be more feasible and objective, especially at high pressure. The average relative errors for the solubility data determined in this paper are 2.3% for those in the minor value scope and 1.7% for those in the high value scope respectively. Comparison of the experimental solubility data with the literature ones demonstrates that the laser-aid solubility determination apparatus is stable and reliable.  相似文献

Based on investigations of thermally stimulated conduction (TSC) in Sn2P2S6 single crystals and the effect of the surrounding gas on the character of the thermally stimulated current, it is concluded that the degree of unipolarity of ferroelectrics-semiconductors and the screening conditions play a significant and sometimes determining role in the filling of local levels, manifested in the TSC curves. By combining the standard method of TSC with the method of TSC in the photoelectret regime based on the intrinsic effect of the field, it is possible to distinguish the surface and volume attachment levels. The greatest filling of surface levels at the ends of domains is obtained from TSC curves measured in a vacuum on single-domain samples with the pulling field oriented in the same direction as the internal field and the greatest filling of volume levels is obtained with minimum unipolarity of the crystal and the creation of depleted layers on its free surface by adsorption.Translated from Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii, Fizika, No. 3, pp. 86–90, March, 1990.  相似文献

The acoustic modulation of quanta is analyzed with regard for dissipation of the energy of the excited mode through resonance (having the acoustic frequency) modes. Given definite assumptions, the Rayleigh-Rice distribution function previously introduced phenomenologically is obtained for the oscillation amplitudes. It is proposed that the intensities of the ultrasonic sidebands be expressed in terms of the parameters m and , which are valid for any degree of sound coherence. A kink was observed near 20 kOe in the field dependence of the magnetization in a single-grained α-Mn without a magnetic hysteresis below the Neel temperature in an accurate magnetization measurement below 80 kOe. It was observed along [1 0 0], [1 1 0] and [1 1 1] crystallographic directions. The field dependence of the magnetization above 40 kOe extrapolates to positive finite magnetization at null field. The kink suggests a weak metamagnetism induced by the external magnetic field. A small but clear anisotropy was observed between the weak-field susceptibilities along [1 0 0] and [1 1 0]/[1 1 1] directions. A previously reported large susceptibility anomaly was not affirmed between 90 and 270 kOe.  相似文献

Based on imitative experiment of structure mechanics,four-aperture defocusedspeckle shearing interferometry is used to obtain the distribution of strain field of the geologicstructure model of the Jiulong mountain in Sichuan Basin.And through the analysis of the ex-perimental data,we can give some experdriental basis for recognizing the distribution of thegeologic fracture in the district of the Jiulong Mountain. We consider the 4 quantum field theory in two and three spacetime dimensions. In the single phase region the physical mass (inverse correlation length)m() decreases continuously to zero as the bare mass parameter approaches a critical value c from above. The behavior of diluted antiferromagnets in an external magnetic field has been considered. Surface acoustic waves (SAWs) provide a powerful tool for the modulation of polaritons in GaAs-based microcavities. In this contribution, we compare the modulation introduced by SAWs propagating along piezoelectric and non-piezoelectric crystal directions of the sample surface. Strain calculations reveal that the type-I band-gap modulation induced by the strain field is comparable for both SAW types. Piezoelectric SAWs have, however, an intrinsic longitudinal electric field, which can dissociate quantum well (QW) excitons and, thus, degrade the modulation. Images of the polariton far-field photoluminescence reveal this behavior for different excitation conditions.  相似文献

Values for the Néel temperature of the RCu2 compounds (R=Tb–Tm) have been calculated using a molecular-field model including crystalline-electric-field effect as presented by Noakes and Shenoy. The calculated results show that the unusual behavior, at the Néel temperatures, of these compounds can be explained on the basis of this model.  相似文献

We study the effect of Landau--Zener (LZ) tunneling caused by the varying sweeping rate of the external field, and solve the problem about the LZ tunneling rate among many levels. The LZ tunneling rate is essentially changed by the unsteady variation of the time-dependent sweeping field and is different from the steadily varying sweeping field, which makes the particles in lower states transit periodically to upper states within a finite time.  相似文献
