Synthesis and anion recognition properties of 2,2′-binaphthalene derivatives bearing two thiourea (1) and urea (2) groups at 8- and 8′-positions were studied. The structure of receptor 1 was determined by X-ray crystallography. UV-vis spectra of the receptors showed characteristic changes around 300-400 nm through isosbestic points upon the addition of biologically relevant anions such as acetate, dihydrogenphosphate, and chloride in MeCN and DMSO due to restriction of the rotation around the single bond connecting two naphthyl moieties by cooperative guest binding of two recognition sites. Job’s plots showed 1:1 complexation for guest anions. The fluorescence quantum yields of free form of 1 and 2 in MeCN were determined to be 0.021 and 0.57, respectively. The fluorescence intensities of the receptors diminished upon the addition of anions in MeCN. The association constants of receptors 1 and 2 were one or two orders of magnitude greater than the corresponding monothiourea and urea receptors 3 and 4 indicating cooperative hydrogen bonding with guest anions. The selectivity trends of association of anions were F>AcO>H2PO4>Cl>>HSO4≈NO3≈Br≈I for 1, and F>AcO≈Cl>H2PO4>Br>HSO4>I≈NO3 for 2. Receptor 2 showed remarkable Cl selectivity presumably owing to suitable orientation for effective hydrogen bond formation with Cl.  相似文献

Eleven new complexes of the form cis-[RuII(bpy)2(LA)]4+ (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridyl; LA = a pyridinium-substituted bpy derivative) have been prepared and isolated as their PF6 salts. Characterisation involved various techniques including 1H NMR spectroscopy and MALDI mass spectrometry. The UV-Vis spectra show intense intraligand π → π absorptions and metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (MLCT) bands with two distinct maxima in the visible region. Small shifts in the MLCT bands correlate with the electron-withdrawing strength of the ligand LA. Cyclic voltammograms show quasi-reversible or reversible RuIII/II oxidation waves, and two or more ligand-based reductions with varying degrees of reversibility. The variations in the redox potentials correlate with changes in the structure of LA, and also with the MLCT energies. Differential pulse voltammetry allows the first reduction process for two of the complex salts to be resolved into two peaks. Single-crystal X-ray structures have been solved for three of the new complex salts and also for a pro-ligand salt. Two carboxylate-functionalised compounds have been tested as photosensitizers on TiO2-coated electrodes, but show only negligible efficiencies, in accord with expectations.  相似文献

A selective and sensitive new spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of aluminium. 2,2′,3,4-Tetrahydroxy-3′-sulpho-5′-nitroazobenzene (tetrahydroxyazon SN) formed an orange chelate with aluminium at pH 4. Molar absorptivity of the complex in 1:2 is 5.46 × 104 l mol−1 cm−1 at 479 nm. The method obeys Beer's law in the range of 0.005-1.079 μg ml−1. The determination of aluminium is not interfered with by earth alkaline, alkaline elements, rare earth elements, halides, phosphates, sulphates, urea, ascorbic acid, Sn2+, Sr2+, Cr3+, Cd2+, Hg2+, or Mn2+. The proposed method is rapid and simple, and it has been successfully applied to the determination of aluminium in certified pharmaceutical suspension and granite.  相似文献

2, 2′-Dihydroxyazobenzene (DHAB) demonstrated high sensitivity and low selectivity toward three anions: CN, CO32−, and HCO3. In the presence of Cu(II), complex DHAB-Cu(II) could give rise to enhanced fluorescence intensity by about 45-fold at 590 nm and visible red-to-reddish orange color change upon the addition of cyanide by utilizing an indirect method, while no changes were observed in the presence of other anions, including F, Cl, Br, I, H2PO4, CH3COO, NO3, CO32− and HCO3, and SO42−, making the DHAB-Cu(II) complex a selective and sensitive cyanide chemosensor.  相似文献

A novel crown ether which incorporates the 2,2′-biimidazole moiety was prepared by cyclization of 1,1′-dibenzyl-1H,1′H-[2,2′]biimidazolyl-4,4′-dicarboxylic acid and 4,7,10-trioxa-1,13-tridecanediamine followed by removal of the benzyl groups. The diacid has been obtained by hydrolysis of the diester previously prepared by alcoholysis of the corresponding dicyano biimidazole. The cyano group is introduced by a palladium-catalyzed procedure starting from the corresponding dibromo biimidazole. The macrocyclic structure of the N-dibenzylated derivative of the receptor has been studied by X-ray diffraction. Binding constants for 1:1 biimidazole–anion complexation (Kassoc) are on the order of 105 M−1 for H2PO4 and Cl.  相似文献

In this study, a new poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) membrane sensor for La3+ ion based on 2,2′-dithiodipyridine as an ion carrier was prepared. This electrode revealed good selectivity for La3+ over a wide variety of other metal ions. Effects of experimental parameters such as membrane composition, nature and amount of plasticizer, the amount of additive and concentration of internal solution on the potential response of La3+ sensor were investigated. The electrode exhibited a Nernstian slope of 20.0 ± 1.0 mV per decade of La3+ over a concentration range of 7.1 × 10−6 to 2.2 × 10−2 M of La3+ in the pH range 3.3-8.0. The response time was about 7 s and the detection limit was 3.1 × 10−6 M. The electrode can be used for at least 2 months without a considerable divergence in potential. The proposed electrode was used as an indicator electrode in potentiometric titration of oxalate and fluoride ions and was applied for determination of F ion in mouthwash solution.  相似文献

The solution structure of one of dithymidine monophosphate (TpT) analogues, containing an (N-acetyl)imino backbone linkage (NCOCH3) of 3′-O-(acetylimino)3′-de(phosphinico)-thymidylyl-(3,5′)-deoxythymidine (TNT), has been determined by proton NMR. Two structures, designated as major and minor forms, in a ratio of about 3:2 coexist when the solution temperature is <25°C. Both forms adopt anti conformation with respect to the glycosidic bond, S-type deoxyribofuranose pucker, and have no base stacking. The backbone torsion angles ε′, φON, φNC, and γ′ are trans, gauche+, gauche+, and gauche+ for the major form; and gauche, gauche, gauche, and gauche+ for the minor form. Monolayers of 3,3′-dithiodipropionic acid (DTDPA) were prepared on a polycrystalline gold electrode through a self-assembly procedure to produce a gold 3,3′-dithiodipropionic acid self-assembled monolayer (AuDTDPA) modified electrode. The characterization of the AuDTDPA electrode was investigated by cyclic voltammetry and ac impedance using the [Fe(CN)6]3−/4− redox couple. The electrochemical behavior of DA on the modified electrode AuDTDPA was studied by cyclic and square-wave voltammetries, using phosphate buffer as supporting electrolyte. The oxidation peak current for DA increases linearly with concentration in the range of 0.35 × 10−5 to 3.4 × 10−5 mol L−1. The performance of the AuDTDPA modified electrode was evaluated for the electroanalytical determination of dopamine (DA) in a pharmaceutical formulation. The AuDTDPA modified electrode showed a stable behavior and the presence of surface-COOH groups avoided the passivation of the electrode surface during the dopamine oxidation.  相似文献

As novel methodology for synthesizing the furan ring, a photoinduced oxidative cyclization of 5-(4′,9′-methanocycloundeca-2′,4′,6′,8′,10′-pentaenylidene)pyrimidine-2,4,6(1,3,5H)-triones (7a-c) and related compounds 9a-c was accomplished to give 5,10-methanocycloundeca[4,5]furo[2,3-d]pyrimidine-2,4(1,3H)-dionylium tetrafluoroborates (8a-c+·BF4) and related compounds 2a-c+·BF4, respectively. In the photoinduced oxidative cyclization, the molecular oxygen in air is used as oxidant and the reaction proceeds under mild conditions to give desired products without byproducts, and thus, it is interesting from the viewpoint of the green chemistry. On the reactions of the mono-substituted derivatives 7d,e and 9e,f, the selectivity of the photoinduced cyclizations were reversed as compared with those of the DDQ-promoted oxidative cyclizations. By the NMR monitoring of the reactions of 7a and deuterated compound 7a-D2 under degassed conditions, the details of the reaction pathway were clarified and rationalized on the basis of the MO calculation by the 6-31G basis set of the MP2 levels as well.  相似文献

A simple and precise square-wave adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry (SW-AdCSV) method has been described for simultaneous determination of Mn(II), Cu(II) and Fe(III) in water samples using a carbon paste electrode. In 0.1 mol L−1 acetate buffer (pH 5) containing 50 μmol L−1 of 2-(5′-bromo-2′-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol (5-Br-PADAP), Mn(II), Cu(II) and Fe(III) were simultaneously determined as metal-complexes with 5-Br-PADAP following preconcentration onto the carbon paste electrode by adsorptive accumulation at +1.0 V (vs. Ag/AgCl/3 M KCl). Insignificant interference from various cations (K+, Na+, Mg2+, Ca2+, Al3+, Bi3+, Sb3+, Se4+, Zn2+, Ni2+, Co2+, Cd2+, Pb2+, V5+, Ti4+ and NH4+), anions (HCO3, Cl, NO3−, SO42− and PO43−) and ascorbic acid was noticed. Limits of detection of 0.066, 0.108 and 0.093 μg L−1 and limits of quantitation of 0.22, 0.36 and 0.31 μg L−1 Mn(II), Cu(II) and Fe(III), respectively, were achieved by the described method. The described stripping voltammetry method was successfully applied for simultaneous determination of Mn(II), Cu(II) and Fe(III) in ground, tap and bottled natural water samples.  相似文献

A flow injection (FI) method is reported for the determination of thyroxine based on its enhancement of chemiluminescence (CL) from the Ru(bpy)33+-NADH system. The calibration graph was linear over the range 2.0-10 × 10−8 mol L−1 (r2 = 0.9989) with relative standard deviations (R.S.D.) in the range 2.0-4.5% (n = 4). The limit of detection (3σ blank) was 1.0 × 10−9 mol L−1 with sample throughput of 120 h−1. The effect of some organic compounds, anions and cations were studied for l-thyroxine determination. The method was applied to pharmaceutical preparations and the results obtained were in reasonable agreement with the amount labeled. The method was statistically compared with the results obtained by RIA; no significant disagreement at 95% confidence limit was observed. A calibration graph of NADH over the range 1.3 × 10−8-1.3 × 10−6 mol L−1 was also established (r2 = 0.9992) with R.S.D. in the range1.0-3.5% (n = 4). The limit of detection (3σ) was 1.0 × 10−10 mol L−1 NADH.  相似文献

A novel fluorescence chemical sensor for the highly sensitive and selective determination of Pb2+ ions in aqueous solutions is described. The preliminary potentiometric and spectrofluorimetric complexation studies in solution revealed that the lipophilic ligand 5,8-bis((5′-chloro-8′-hydroxy-7′-quinolinyl)methyl)-2,11-dithia-5,8-diaza-2,6-pyridinophane (L2) forms a highly stable and selective [PbL2]2+ and [Pb(L2)2]2+ complexes which results in a strong fluorescence quenching of the ligand. Thus, a novel fluorescence Pb2+ sensing system was prepared by incorporating L2 as a neutral lead-selective fluoroionophore in the plasticized PVC membrane containing tetrakis(p-chlorophenyl) borate as a liphophilic anionic additive. The response of the sensor is based on the strong selective fluorescence quenching of L2 by Pb2+ ions. At pH 5.5, the proposed sensor displays a calibration curve over a wide concentration range of 3.0 × 10−7 to 2.5 × 10−2 M with a relatively fast response time of less than 5 min. In addition to high stability, reversibility and reproducibility, the sensor shows a unique selectivity towards Pb2+ ion with respect to common coexisting cations. The proposed fluorescence optode was successfully applied to the determination of lead in plastic toys and tap water samples.  相似文献

Molecularly imprinted polymer gel film on the gold substrate of a chip was prepared with minute amount of cross-linker for the fabrication of a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor sensitive to 3,3′-dichlorobenzidine. The molecularly imprinted gel film was anchored on a gold chip by a surface-bound photo-radical initiator. The sensing of 3,3′-dichlorobenzidine is based on responsive shrinkage of the imprinted polymer gel film that is triggered by target binding. This change can improve the responsiveness of the imprinted SPR sensor to 3,3′-dichlorobenzidine. The molecularly imprinted polymer gel film was characterized with contact angle measurements, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammogram, swelling measurements and atomic force microscopy. The changes of SPR spectroscopy wavenumber shifts revealed that the imprinted gel sensing film can ‘memorize’ the binding of 3,3′-dichlorobenzidine compared to non-imprinted one. The imprinted gel-SPR sensor showed a linear response in the range of 9.0 × 10−12 to 5.0 × 10−10 mol L−1 (R2 = 0.9998) for the detection of 3,3′-dichlorobenzidine, and it also exhibited high selectivity to 3,3′-dichlorobenzidine compared to its structurally related analogues. We calculated the detection limits to be 0.471 ng L−1 for tap water and 0.772 ng kg−1 for soil based on a signal to noise ratio of 3. The method showed good recoveries and precision for the samples spiked with 3,3′-dichlorobenzidine. This suggest that the imprinted gel-SPR sensing method can be used as a promising alternative for the detection of 3,3′-dichlorobenzidine.  相似文献

Polymers containing bicarbazolyl moieties in the main chain have been synthesized by the modified Ullmann coupling reaction from 9H,9′H-[3,3′]bicarbazolyl and different dihalo derivatives. The number-average molecular weights of the polymers synthesized were in the range of 2500-6200 with a molecular weight distribution of 1.6-3.1. Well-defined model compounds for the polymers have been synthesized by stepwise reactions. All these compounds have been found to form glasses with glass transition temperatures in the range of 57-119 °C as characterised by differential scanning calorimetry. The electron photoemission spectra of the compounds have been recorded and the ionisation potentials of 5.35-5.4 eV have been established. Room temperature hole drift mobility of the synthesized compounds molecularly dispersed in a polymer host range from 10−6 to 3 × 10−5 cm2/V s at an electric field of 106 V/cm at the room temperature.  相似文献

Synergistic liquid-liquid extractive spectrophotometric determination of gold(III) using 1-(2′,4′-dinitro aminophenyl)-4,4,6-trimethyl-1,4-dihydro pyrimidine-2-thiol [2′,4′-dinitro APTPT] has been described. Equal volumes (5 cm3) of the 2′,4′-dinitro APTPT (0.02 mol L−1) in the presence of pyridine (0.5 mol L−1) form an orange-red coloured ternary complex with gold(III) of molar ratio 1:1:1 at pH 1.8-2.4 with 5 min of shaking. The absorbance of coloured organic layer in 1,2-dichloroethane is measured spectrophotometrically at 445 nm against reagent blank. A pronounced synergism has been observed by the binary mixture of 2′,4′-dinitro APTPT and pyridine, which shows that the enhancement in the absorbance is observed in the presence of pyridine by the adduct formation in the organic phase. Beer's law was obeyed in the concentration range 2.5-20.0 μg mL−1, with molar absorptivity and Sandell's sensitivity values of 8.7 × 103 dm3 mol−1 cm−1 and 0.023 μg cm−2 respectively. A repetition of the method was checked by finding relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) (n = 10) which was 0.17%. The composition of the gold(III)-2′,4′-dinitro APTPT-pyridine adduct was established by slope analysis, molar ratio and Job's method. The ternary complex was stable for more than 48 h. The influence of various factors such as pH, 2′,4′-dinitro APTPT concentration, solvent and pyridine on the degree of complexation has been established. A number of foreign ions tested for their interferences and use of suitable masking agents wherever necessary are tabulated, which show that selectivity of the method has been enhanced. The method is successfully employed for the determination of gold(III) in binary, synthetic mixtures and ayurvedic samples. The reliability of the method is assured by inter-comparison of experimental values, using an atomic absorption spectrometer.  相似文献

High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) chemiluminescence detection methodology is reported for the determination of the atypical antipsychotic drug quetiapine and the observation of its major active and inactive metabolites in human urine and serum. The method uses a monolithic chromatographic column allowing high flow rates of 3 mL min−1 enabling rapid quantification. Flow injection analysis (FIA) with tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) chemiluminescence detection and HPLC time of flight mass spectrometry (TOF-MS) were used for the determination of quetiapine in a pharmaceutical preparation to establish its suitability as a calibration standard. The limit of detection achieved with FIA was 2 × 10−11 mol L−1 in simple aqueous solution. The limits of detection achieved with HPLC were 7 × 10−8 and 2 × 10−10 mol L−1 in urine and serum, respectively. The calibration range for FIA was between 5 × 10−9 and 1 × 10−6 mol L−1. The calibration ranges for HPLC were between 1 × 10−7-1 × 10−4 and 1 × 10−8-1 × 10−4 mol L−1 in urine and serum, respectively. The quetiapine concentrations in patient samples were found to be 3 × 10−6 mol L−1 in urine and 7 × 10−7 mol L−1 in serum. Without the need for preconcentration, the HPLC detection limits compared favourably with those in previously published methodologies. The metabolites were identified using HPLC-TOF-MS.  相似文献

New 2′-deoxyadenosine and adenosoine modifications: 8-[(2-dimethylaminoethyl)amino]-2′-deoxyadenosine and 8-[(2-dimethylaminoethyl)amino]adenosine were prepared and their reactivity towards cyclic oxonium adducts of closo-dodecaborate and cobalt-bis-dicarbollide was studied. The cleavage reactions of clusters oxonium rings by N,N-dimethylanio group of modified nucleosides led to the first [B12H12]2− and new [Co(C2B9H11)2] conjugates with adenosine and 2′-deoxyadenosine respectively. The proposed methodology provides a convenient route for the synthesis of libraries of boron cluster modified adenosine and 2′-deoxyadenosine derivatives for biological screening.  相似文献
