In this short note we continue our study of Koszul-Vinberg algebroids which form a subcategory of the category of Lie algebroids, and which appear naturally in the study of affine structures, affine and transversally affine foliations [N. Nguiffo Boyom, R. Wolak, J. Geom. Phys. 42 (2002) 307-317]. We prove a local decomposition theorem for KV-algebroids. Using the notion of KV-algebroids we introduce a new class of singular foliations: affine singular foliations. In the last section we study the holonomy of these foliations and prove a stability theorem.  相似文献

We construct algebraic and algebro-geometric models for the spaces of unparametrized paths. This is done by considering a path as a holonomy functional on indeterminate connections. For a manifold X, we construct a Lie algebroid which serves as the tangent space to X (punctual paths) inside the space of all unparametrized paths. It serves as a natural receptacle of all “covariant derivatives of the curvature” for all bundles with connections on X. If X is an algebraic variety, we integrate to a formal groupoid which can be seen as the formal neighborhood of X inside the space of paths. We establish a relation between and the stable map spaces of Kontsevich.   相似文献

Given a compact Lie group, endowed with a bi-invariant Riemannian metric, its complexification inherits a Kähler structure having twice the kinetic energy of the metric as its potential, and Kähler reduction with reference to the adjoint action yields a stratified Kähler structure on the resulting adjoint quotient. Exploiting classical invariant theory, in particular bisymmetric functions and variants thereof, we explore the singular Poisson-Kähler geometry of this quotient. Among other things we prove that, for various compact groups, the real coordinate ring of the adjoint quotient is generated, as a Poisson algebra, by the real and imaginary parts of the fundamental characters. We also show that singular Kähler quantization of the geodesic flow on the reduced level yields the irreducible algebraic characters of the complexified group.  相似文献

Amongst other results, we perform a ‘contactization’ method to construct, in every odd dimension, many contact Lie groups with a discrete center, unlike the usual (classical) contactization which only produces Lie groups with a non-discrete center. We discuss some applications and consequences of such a construction, construct several examples and derive some properties. We give classification results in low dimensions. A complete list is supplied in dimension 5. In any odd dimension greater than 5, there are infinitely many locally non-isomorphic solvable contact Lie groups. We also characterize solvable contact Lie algebras whose derived ideal has codimension one. For simplicity, most of the results are given in the Lie algebra version.  相似文献

Let K be an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero, $\frak {g}$ be a countably dimensional locally finite Lie algebra over K, and $\frak {h} \subset \frak {g}$ be a (a priori non-abelian) locally nilpotent subalgebra of $\frak {g}$ which coincides with its zero Fitting component. We classify all such pairs $(\frak {g}, \frak {h})$ under the assumptions that the locally solvable radical of $\frak {g}$ equals zero and that $\frak {g}$ admits a root decomposition with respect to $\frak {h}$. More precisely, we prove that $\frak {g}$ is the union of reductive subalgebras $\frak {g}_n$ such that the intersections $\frak {g}_n \cap \frak {h}$ are nested Cartan subalgebras of $\frak {g}_n$ with compatible root decompositions. This implies that $\frak {g}$ is root-reductive and that $\frak {h}$ is abelian. Root-reductive locally finite Lie algebras are classified in [6]. The result of the present note is a more general version of the main classification theorem in [9] and is at the same time a new criterion for a locally finite Lie algebra to be root-reductive. Finally we give an explicit example of an abelian selfnormalizing subalgebra $\frak {h}$ of $\frak {g} = \frak {sl}(\infty)$ with respect to which $\frak {g}$ does not admit a root decomposition.Work Supported in Part by the University of Hamburg and the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics, Bonn  相似文献

In this paper, we generalize all the results obtained on para‐Kähler Lie algebras in [3] to para‐Kähler Lie algebroids. In particular, we study exact para‐Kähler Lie algebroids as a generalization of exact para‐Kähler Lie algebras. This study leads to a natural generalization of pseudo‐Hessian manifolds, we call them contravariant pseudo‐Hessian manifolds. Contravariant pseudo‐Hessian manifolds have many similarities with Poisson manifolds. We explore these similarities which, among others, leads to a powerful machinery to build examples of non trivial pseudo‐Hessian structures. Namely, we will show that given a finite dimensional commutative and associative algebra , the orbits of the action Φ of on given by are pseudo‐Hessian manifolds, where . We illustrate this result by considering many examples of associative commutative algebras and show that the resulting pseudo‐Hessian manifolds are very interesting.  相似文献

We examine families of twists by an automorphism of the complex polynomial ring on n generators. The multiplication in the twisted algebra determines a Poisson structure on affine n-space. We demonstrate that if the automorphism has a single eigenvalue, then the primitive ideals in the twist are parameterized by the algebraic symplectic leaves associated to this Poisson structure. Furthermore, in this case all of the leaves are algebraic and can be realized as the orbits of an algebraic group. Presented by K. Goodearl  相似文献

We prove that, for any transitive Lie bialgebroid (A, A), the differential associated to the Lie algebroid structure on A has the form d=A[Λ,⋅]+Ω, where Λ is a section of 2A and Ω is a Lie algebroid 1-cocycle for the adjoint representation of A. Globally, for any transitive Poisson groupoid (Γ,Π), the Poisson structure has the form , where ΠF is a bivector field on Γ associated to a Lie groupoid 1-cocycle.  相似文献

We present a general framework for reduction of symplectic Q-manifolds via graded group actions. In this framework, the homological structure on the acting group is a multiplicative multivector field.  相似文献

We say that an oriented contact manifold (M,ξ) is Milnor fillable if it is contactomorphic to the contact boundary of an isolated complex-analytic singularity (X,x). In this article we prove that any three-dimensional oriented manifold admits at most one Milnor fillable contact structure up to contactomorphism. The proof is based on Milnor open books: we associate an open book decomposition of M with any holomorphic function f:(X,x)→(C,0), with isolated singularity at x and we verify that all these open books carry the contact structure ξ of (M,ξ)—generalizing results of Milnor and Giroux.  相似文献

We develop a general framework for the construction of various derived brackets. We show that suitably deforming the differential of a graded Leibniz algebra extends the derived bracket construction and leads to the notion of strong homotopy (sh) Leibniz algebra. We discuss the connections among homotopy algebra theory, deformation theory and derived brackets. We prove that the derived bracket construction induces a map from suitably defined deformation theory equivalence classes to the isomorphism classes of sh Leibniz algebras.  相似文献

We discuss natural transformations in the context of Lie groupoids, and their infinitesimal counterpart. Our main result is an integration procedure that provides smooth natural transformations between Lie groupoid morphisms.  相似文献

We describe how to use new reduced size polynomial approximations for the numerical solution of the Poisson equation over hypercubes. Our method is based on a non-standard Galerkin method which allows test functions which do not verify the boundary conditions. Numerical examples are given in dimensions up to 8 on solutions with different smoothness using the same approximation basis for both situations. A special attention is paid on conditioning problems.  相似文献

We show that the Poisson structure transverse to a coadjoint orbit in the dual of a semisimple Lie algebra has a polynomial structure matrix, as conjectured by Damianou.  相似文献

We classify the 6-dimensional Lie algebras of the form g×g that admit an integrable complex structure. We also endow a Lie algebra of the kind o(n)×o(n) (n2) with such a complex structure. The motivation comes from geometric structures à la Sasaki on g-manifolds.  相似文献

Here, we present the star product for multi-Poisson structures. The Moyal quantization formalism corresponding to these structures is constructed. The case of a multi-area preserving algebra on the 2s–dimensional torus T2s is explicit.  相似文献

The standard Poisson structure on the rectangular matrix variety Mm,n(C) is investigated, via the orbits of symplectic leaves under the action of the maximal torus TGLm+n(C). These orbits, finite in number, are shown to be smooth irreducible locally closed subvarieties of Mm,n(C), isomorphic to intersections of dual Schubert cells in the full flag variety of GLm+n(C). Three different presentations of the T-orbits of symplectic leaves in Mm,n(C) are obtained: (a) as pullbacks of Bruhat cells in GLm+n(C) under a particular map; (b) in terms of rank conditions on rectangular submatrices; and (c) as matrix products of sets similar to double Bruhat cells in GLm(C) and GLn(C). In presentation (a), the orbits of leaves are parametrized by a subset of the Weyl group Sm+n, such that inclusions of Zariski closures correspond to the Bruhat order. Presentation (b) allows explicit calculations of orbits. From presentation (c) it follows that, up to Zariski closure, each orbit of leaves is a matrix product of one orbit with a fixed column-echelon form and one with a fixed row-echelon form. Finally, decompositions of generalized double Bruhat cells in Mm,n(C) (with respect to pairs of partial permutation matrices) into unions of T-orbits of symplectic leaves are obtained.  相似文献
