Preparation method was developed and a series of new linear polyconjugated compounds was obtained with (1,3-benzoxazol-2-yl)ethenyl,
(5-oxo-2-phenyl-1,3-oxazolidine)methyl moieties in the positions 3, 7 of dibenzothiophene-5,5-dione frame and with peripheral alkoxy- and alkylamine substituents in the position 1. The synthetic methods for new 2-, 2,2′-, and 3-substituted 4,4′-bis(chloromethyl)biphenyls were developed. Quaternization of them with various amines resulted in a series of new double quaternary ammonium salts containing the biphenyl moiety. The majority of the obtained compounds have a pronounced antifungal and antibacterial activity against the Gram-positive bacteria. 相似文献

We synthesized nine quaternary ammonium compounds (QUATs) starting from phenylalanine, N-alkyl-N,N-dimethyl-(1-hydroxy-3-phenylpropyl)-2-ammonium bromides, which were prepared as optically pure substances. Five compounds
were prepared as S-enantiomers and four compounds as R-enantiomers. These compounds were evaluated by their activities against bacteria and fungi. Three microbial strains were
used in the study: the gram-negative bacteria Escherichia coli, the gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus aureus and the fungi Candida albicans. The activities were expressed as minimum bactericidal or fungicidal concentrations (MBC). The most active compounds were
(2S)-N-tetradecyl-N,N-dimethyl-(1-hydroxy-3-phenylpropyl)-2-ammonium bromide and (2R)-N-tetradecyl-N,N-dimethyl-(1-hydroxy-3-phenylpropyl)-2-ammonium bromide, with MBC values exceeding those of commercial benzalkoniumbromide
(BAB) used as standard. The relationships between structure and biological activity of the tested QUATs were quantified by

Novel allyl‐acrylate quaternary ammonium salts were synthesized using two different methods. In the first (method 1), N,N‐dimethyl‐N‐2‐(ethoxycarbonyl)allyl allylammonium bromide and N,N‐dimethyl‐N‐2‐(tert‐butoxycarbonyl)allyl allylammonium bromide were formed by reacting tertiary amines with allyl bromide. The second (method 2) involved reacting N,N‐dialkyl‐N‐allylamine with either ethyl α‐chloromethyl acrylate (ECMA) or tert‐butyl α‐bromomethyl acrylate (TBBMA). The monomers obtained with the method 2 were N,N‐diethyl‐N‐2‐(ethoxycarbonyl)allyl allylammonium chloride, N,N‐diethyl‐N‐2‐(tert‐butoxycarbonyl)allyl allylammonium bromide, and N,N‐piperidyl‐N‐2‐(ethoxycarbonyl)allyl allylammonium chloride. Higher purity monomers were obtained with the method 2. Solution polymerizations with 2,2′‐azobis(2‐amidinopropane) dihydrochloride (V‐50) in water at 60–70°C gave soluble cyclopolymers which showed polyelectrolyte behavior in pure water. Intrinsic viscosities measured in 0.09M NaCl ranged from 0.45 to 2.45 dL/g. 1H‐ and 13C‐NMR spectra indicated high cyclization efficiencies. The ester groups of the tert‐butyl polymer were hydrolyzed completely in acid to give a polymer with zwitterionic character. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Nitration of some 2-substituted pyrimidine-4,6-diones in sulfuric acid was studied, which afforded previously unknown 5,5-gem-dinitropyrimidine-4,6-diones in high yields. The gem-dinitro products were easily attacked by nucleophiles with concomitant formation of gem-dinitroacetyl derivatives, which in turn could be further hydrolyzed to salts of dinitromethane and triureas. 相似文献
