Si(NHC6H5-nFn)4.xTiCl4 [n = 2–5; x = 3,4] are obtained from the disproportionation reactions between (CF3CH2O)3SiNHC6H5-nFn (n = 2–5) and TiCl4 in petroleum ether (40–60°C) at 0°–10°C. These complexes are characterized by elemental analyses and IR, 1H, and 19F NMR spectroscopy. Unlike the reported5 complex Si(NHC6H4F-o)4.3TiCl4, these are non-ionic in nature. All complexes give double adducts with CH3NO2 and CH3CN within 24 h.  相似文献

Hierarchical helicates based on ketone-substituted titanium(IV)triscatecholates show different monomer-dimer behavior depending on different solvents. The dimerization constants of a whole series of differently alkyl-substituted complexes is analyzed to show that the solvent has a very strong influence on the dimerization. Hereby, effects like solvophobicity/philicity, sterics, electronics of the substituents and weak side-chain—side-chain interactions seem to act in concert.  相似文献

Abstract

Reactions of O,O′-dialkyl and alkylene dithiophosphoric acids with bis (cyclopentadienyl) titanium(IV) and zirconium (IV) dichloride in a 1:1 molar ratio in refluxing benzene proceeds with elimination of HCl and formation of the substituted derivatives, Cp2MCl[S2P(OR)2] (where R = Et, Pr-n, Pr-i, Bu-i and Ph), Cp2MCl[S2POGO] (where G = ?CH2CMe2CH2?, ?CH2CEt2CH2? and ?CMe2CMe2?), (M = Ti and Zr). The complexes are dark red and yellow solids, soluble in common organic solvents and monomeric in nature. These have been characterized on the basis of elemental analyses, molecular weight determinations, IR, and NMR (1H, 13C, and 31P).

Enantioselective addition of AlEt3 to aldehydes catalyzed by a titanium(IV)–TADDOLate complex was carried out with ee values up to 99% for 2-chlorobenzaldehyde as a substrate. The key success of the study resides in the choice of THF as a solvent. THF is capable of coordinating to Al(III) and is speculated to lower the Lewis acidity of AlEt3 and thus to suppress the competing reaction from AlEt3 itself.  相似文献

Complexes of composition [VCl(acac)2(OAr1–4)] and [V(acac)2(OAr1–4)2] (HOAr1=HOC6H4NO2–4, HOAr2= HOC6H4OMe-4, HOAr3=HOC6H4But-4 and HOAr4= HOC6H2But-2,6–Me-4; acac=2,4–pentanedionato ion) have been synthesized by the reaction of [VCl2(acac)2] with the respective phenols or their trimethylsilyl derivatives. The complexes have been characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic techniques. They are non-electrolytes in nitrobenzene. Room temperature magnetic moments in the 1.71–1.82B range are consistent with the VIV system. The reactions of [VCl(acac)2(OAr2)] and [VCl(acac)2(OAr3)] with chloride acceptors have been studied by conductance techniques and the formation of ionic complexes of the types [V(acac)2(OAr2,3)][MCl4] (M=Fe, Al or Sb) and [V(acac)2(OAr2,3)][MCl6] (M=P or Sb) is indicated by the conductance composition curves. Several of these complexes have been isolated and characterized.  相似文献

The efficient synthesis of 2-arylbenzimidazole, 2-arylbenzothiazole and 2-arylbenzoxazole derivatives is described by condensation of aryl aldehydes and o-phenylenediamines, 2-aminothiophenol and 2-aminophenol in a single pot using a catalytic amount of vanadium(IV)?Csalen complex or vanadium?Csalen nanoparticles supported on silica (5.0?mol%) in excellent isolated yields. The immobilized catalyst was characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, inductively coupled plasma analysis, thermogravimetric instrument for analysis of nitrogen adsorption and FT-IR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Ceric ammonium nitrate (CAN) or CeIV(NH4)2(NO3)6 is often used in artificial water oxidation and generally considered to be an outer-sphere oxidant. Herein we report the spectroscopic and crystallographic characterization of [(N4Py)FeIII-O-CeIV(OH2)(NO3)4]+ ( 3 ), a complex obtained from the reaction of [(N4Py)FeII(NCMe)]2+ with 2 equiv CAN or [(N4Py)FeIV=O]2+ ( 2 ) with CeIII(NO3)3 in MeCN. Surprisingly, the formation of 3 is reversible, the position of the equilibrium being dependent on the MeCN/water ratio of the solvent. These results suggest that the FeIV and CeIV centers have comparable reduction potentials. Moreover, the equilibrium entails a change in iron spin state, from S=1 FeIV in 2 to S=5/2 in 3 , which is found to be facile despite the formal spin-forbidden nature of this process. This observation suggests that FeIV=O complexes may avail of reaction pathways involving multiple spin states having little or no barrier.  相似文献

Treatment of titanyl sulfate in about 60 mM sulfuric acid with NaL(OEt) (L(OEt) (-)=[(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Co{P(O)(OEt)(2)}(3)](-)) afforded the mu-sulfato complex [(L(OEt)Ti)(2)(mu-O)(2)(mu-SO(4))] (2). In more concentrated sulfuric acid (>1 M), the same reaction yielded the di-mu-sulfato complex [(L(OEt)Ti)(2)(mu-O)(mu-SO(4))(2)] (3). Reaction of 2 with HOTf (OTf=triflate, CF(3)SO(3)) gave the tris(triflato) complex [L(OEt)Ti(OTf)(3)] (4), whereas treatment of 2 with Ag(OTf) in CH(2)Cl(2) afforded the sulfato-capped trinuclear complex [{(L(OEt))(3)Ti(3)(mu-O)(3)}(mu(3)-SO(4)){Ag(OTf)}][OTf] (5), in which the Ag(OTf) moiety binds to a mu-oxo group in the Ti(3)(mu-O)(3) core. Reaction of 2 in H(2)O with Ba(NO(3))(2) afforded the tetranuclear complex (L(OEt))(4)Ti(4)(mu-O)(6) (6). Treatment of 2 with [{Rh(cod)Cl}(2)] (cod=1,5-cyclooctadiene), [Re(CO)(5)Cl], and [Ru(tBu(2)bpy)(PPh(3))(2)Cl(2)] (tBu(2)bpy=4,4'-di-tert-butyl-2,2'-dipyridyl) in the presence of Ag(OTf) afforded the heterometallic complexes [(L(OEt))(2)Ti(2)(O)(2)(SO(4)){Rh(cod)}(2)][OTf](2) (7), [(L(OEt))(2)Ti(O)(2)(SO(4)){Re(CO)(3)}][OTf] (8), and [{(L(OEt))(2)Ti(2)(mu-O)}(mu(3)-SO(4))(mu-O)(2){Ru(PPh(3))(tBu(2)bpy)}][OTf](2) (9), respectively. Complex 9 is paramagnetic with a measured magnetic moment of about 2.4 mu(B). Treatment of zirconyl nitrate with NaL(OEt) in 3.5 M sulfuric acid afforded [(L(OEt))(2)Zr(NO(3))][L(OEt)Zr(SO(4))(NO(3))] (10). Reaction of ZrCl(4) in 1.8 M sulfuric acid with NaL(OEt) in the presence Na(2)SO(4) gave the mu-sulfato-bridged complex [L(OEt)Zr(SO(4))(H(2)O)](2)(mu-SO(4)) (11). Treatment of 11 with triflic acid afforded [(L(OEt))(2)Zr][OTf](2) (12), whereas reaction of 11 with Ag(OTf) afforded a mixture of 12 and trinuclear [{L(OEt)Zr(SO(4))(H(2)O)}(3)(mu(3)-SO(4))][OTf] (13). The Zr(IV) triflato complex [L(OEt)Zr(OTf)(3)] (14) was prepared by reaction of L(OEt)ZrF(3) with Me(3)SiOTf. Complexes 4 and 14 can catalyze the Diels-Alder reaction of 1,3-cyclohexadiene with acrolein in good selectivity. Equilibrium studies in aqueous solution are reported for dibutyltin(IV) (DBT) complexes of the zwitterionic buffers “Good’s buffers” Mes and Mops. Stoichiometric and formation constants of the complexes formed were determined at different temperatures and ionic strength 0.1 mol·L?1 NaNO3. The results show that the best fit of the titration curves were obtained when the complexes ML, MLH?1, MLH?2 and MLH?3 were considered beside the hydrolysis product of the dibutyltin(IV) cation. The thermodynamic parameters ΔH o, ΔS o and ΔG o calculated from the temperature dependence of the formation constant of the dibutyltin(IV) complexes with 2-(N-morpholino)ethanesulfonic acid (Mes) and 3-(N-mor-pholino)-propanesulfonic acid (Mops) were investigated. The effect of dioxane as a solvent on the formation constants of DBT–Mes and DBT–Mops complexes decrease linearly with the increase of dioxane proportion in the medium. The concentration distribution of the various complexes species was evaluated as a function of pH.  相似文献

Reaction of the uranyl β-ketoiminate complex UO(2)((tBu)acnac)(2) (1) ((tBu)acnac = (t)BuNC(Ph)CHC(Ph)O) with Me(3)SiI, in the presence of Ph(3)P, results in the reductive silylation of the uranyl moiety and formation of the U(V) bis-silyloxide complex [Ph(3)PI][U(OSiMe(3))(2)I(4)] (2). Subsequent reaction of 2 with Lewis bases, such as 2,2'-bipyridine (bipy), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), and tetrahydrofuran (THF), results in a further reduction of the metal center and isolation of the U(IV) complexes U(OSiMe(3))(2)I(2)(bipy)(2) (3), U(OSiMe(3))(2)I(2)(phen)(2) (4), and [U(OSiMe(3))(2)I(THF)(4)][I(3)] (5), respectively.  相似文献

An unusual complex, [CpTi(η2-(C,N)-2-ArNH–C6H4C=NAr)Cl2] (Ar?=?2,6- i Pr2C6H3) (1) has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, NMR spectra, and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The 13C NMR resonance of the imine carbon atom of 1 at δ?221?ppm is consistent with the η2-(C,N) binding. This was confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction study of 1. In the complex, Ti atom is five-coordinate with a η2-bound iminoacyl ligand and one Cp ligand occupying the axial position in a distorted square pyramid.  相似文献

Convenient synthesis of a new square planar nickel(II) naphthaldehyde thiosemicarbazone complex has been described. The composition of the complex has been established by elemental analysis, spectral methods, and single crystal X-ray crystallography. The new complex acts as an active homogeneous catalyst for the Mizoroki–Heck reaction of electron deficient (activating) and electron rich (deactivating) aryl bromides with various olefins under optimized conditions.  相似文献

The influence of new water soluble cationic metalloporphyrin Cu(II)TOEPyP(4) (meso-tetra-(4-N-oxyethylpyridyl)), analogue of Cu(II)TMPyP(4), on thermodynamic stability of DNA at various molar ratios of r = porphyrin/DNA b.p. (0 < r < 0.12) has been studied. It has been shown that Cu(II)TOEPyP(4) is a strong stabilizing agent for calf thymus DNA increasing its melting temperature from 75.5 to 99.5 °C, in the range 0 < r < 0.06. The melting enthalpy (∆H m) does not change in the range 0.002 < r < 0.06 and it equals to 11.6 ± 0.8 cal/g. At r > 0.07, ∆H m and T m decrease, and at r = 0.12 they equal to 6.4 ± 0.6 cal/g and 92.5 °C, accordingly. We suggest that such centers of binding are the well documented 5′CG3′ sites and G-quadruplex at r < 0.01, and negatively charged phosphate groups at r > 0.01. On the basis of ∆H m invariability with simultaneous increase of T m in the range 0.002 < r < 0.06, it is shown that the DNA-Cu(II)TOEPyP(4) complex melting is not of an enthalpic nature but of an entropic one. The two-phase helix–coil transition of DNA at r < 0.01 is considered as a result of porphyrin redistribution in the melting process.  相似文献
