Degradable bioelastomers represent a useful class of biomaterials. In this paper, a novel biodegradable network of elastomeric polyesters, poly((1,2-propanediol-sebacate)-citrate) (PPSC), was synthesized by condensation of 1,2-propanediol, sebacic acid and citric acid without any catalyst. An oligomeric diol of 1,2-propanediol-sebacate was first synthesized by carrying out a controlled condensation reaction between 1,2-propanediol and sebacic acid, and then a pre-polymer was synthesized by condensation of the diol and citric acid, whereat the pre-polymer was post-polymerized and simultaneously crosslinked in mold at 120 °C. A series of PPSC polymers were prepared at different post-polymerization times and different monomers' ratio. Tg confirms that PPSC is totally amorphous at 37 °C. The mechanical properties of PPSC testified that the new polymers are typical elastomers with low hardness and large elongation. The different post-polymerization times and monomers' ratio had strong influence on the degradation rates and mechanical performances. The material was expected to be useful for drug controlled delivery, tissue engineering scaffold and other biomedical applications.  相似文献

Films of immiscible blends of (PS) and poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) were characterized by contact-angle measurements with sessile drop and atomic force microscopy (AFM). These blends showed a linear dependence of the contact angles on the composition, as predicted by Cassie's equation for ideal surfaces. The surface structure investigated by AFM showed low roughness and phase-separation features. The ratio between the drop radius and the roughness amounted to the order of 104–105. This magnitude seemed to be sufficient to put the PS/PMMA films close to ideality. Upon sulfonation, the wettability and the microscopic surface roughness of the PS/PMMA blends increased. The treatment with sulfuric acid yielded sulfonated PS domains on the surface, causing an increase in the surface wettability. The SO3 groups were evidenced by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The sulfonation of the PS/PMMA blends enables the formation of multiphase surfaces with hydrophobic, charged and polar domains. Received: 11 December 2000 Accepted: 6 April 2001  相似文献

The electrochemical homo-polymerization of o-, m- and p-aminobenzoic acids has been performed on Pt electrodes in perchloric acid aqueous medium by cyclic scanning of the potential. Different limit potentials were employed to obtain thin polymeric films. When the switching potential was extended beyond the respective monomer oxidation peak, a rather degraded material was obtained. In situ FTIR spectroscopy has been used to characterize the redox response of films synthesized at the lower potential limits. Characteristic absorption features related with benzenoid and quinoid rings and different types of C-N bonds suggest the presence of redox processes similar to those undergone by the parent compound polyaniline. In addition, the existence of a chemical interaction between -COOH and -NH- groups in the reduced state of the three homopolymers studied can be suggested. Carbon dioxide has been detected at potentials higher than 1.0 V (RHE) irrespective of the polymeric material, thus indicating its degradation.  相似文献

New flame-retardant nano/micro particles of sizes ranging between 0.06 ± 0.01 and 1.70 ± 0.23 μm were formed by dispersion polymerization of the pentabromobenzyl acrylate monomer (PBBA) in methyl ethyl ketone as a continuous phase. The effect of various polymerization parameters, e.g., monomer concentration, initiator type and concentration, stabilizer concentration and crosslinker monomer concentration, on the size, size distribution and polymerization yield of the produced poly(pentabromobenzyl acrylate) particles has been elucidated. Poly(pentabromobenzyl acrylate)/polystyrene (PPBBA/PS) nano/micro blends of the contents of different PPBBA particles were prepared by mixing the PPBBA particles with a PS solution in methylene chloride, followed by evaporation of the methylene chloride from the mixture. The morphology of poly(propylene oxide) (PPO) crystals grown from the melt was investigated. The spherulites of the optically pure S polymers displayed a regular pattern of concentric rings as observed by polarizing optical microscopy, while the stereocopolymer developed irregularly banded, or non-banded spherulites depending on the degree of undercooling. The organization of the lamellar crystals within the spherulites was examined by means of atomic force microscopy (AFM). For all cases, the lamellar structures appeared to adopt an alternating flat or edge-on orientation. Examination of the morphology of single crystals in the melt of the stereocopolymer revealed truncated-lozenge crystals, which were elongated in shape. Results from crystallization kinetics, obtained by in situ AFM observations, showed that the elongated habit is related to differences in the growth rates of the {2 0 0} and {1 1 0} facets. Interestingly, the melt-grown RS-PPO crystals developed a curved asymmetrical three-dimensional shape. Based on these observations it can be proposed that the chiral nature of the chain is transmitted to higher structural levels of ordering in the crystal aggregates.  相似文献

New 3- and 4-bromocinnamoyl aniline were synthesized condensing 4-aminoacetophenone and the respective bromobenzaldehydes in the presence of sodium hydroxide. The monomers, 4-(3′-bromocinnamoyl) phenyl acrylamide (4,3′-BCPA) and 4-(4′-bromocinnamoyl) phenyl acrylamide (4,4′-BCPA) were prepared by reacting the respective chalcones and acryloyl chloride in the presence of triethylamine at 0-5 °C. Homopolymers of 4,3′-BCPA and 4,4′-BCPA was carried out in methyl ethyl ketone using benzoyl peroxide (BPO) under nitrogen atmosphere at 70 °C. The prepared polymers were characterized by UV, IR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR techniques. The molecular weights (Mw and Mn) of the polymers were determined by gel permeation chromatography. The thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) of the polymers in nitrogen atmosphere reveals that they possess very good thermal stability required of a negative type photoresist. The glass transition temperature of poly(4,3′-BCPA) and poly (4,4′-BCPA) were found to be 55 and 64 °C respectively. The solubility of the polymers was tested in various polar and non-polar solvents. Photocrosslinking nature of the polymer samples was carried out in the presence and absence of various triplet photosensitizers in solution phase using chloroform solvent under medium frequency UV light. For using the polymers as negative photoresist materials the rate of photocrosslinking of the polymers was measured under the influence of different solvents, concentrations and position of the substituent.  相似文献

Three new diborane(4) derivatives, 1,2-bis(2,4,6-trimethylanilide)-1,2-bis(dimethyamido)diborane(4) (1), 1,2-bis(2,4,6-trimethylanilide)-1,2-bis(duryl)diborane(4) (2) and 1,2-bis(anilide)-1,2-bis(duryl)diborane(4) (3), have been synthesized and characterized by means of elemental analysis, IR, 1H, 13C and 11B NMR spectroscopy. Additionally, the structures of compounds 1 and 2 have been determined by the single crystal X-ray diffraction technique. The compounds 1 and 2 crystallize in the monoclinic P21/c space group. The mono- and binuclear Cu(Ⅰ) complexes with substituted 2,2′-bipyridine and iodide ligands, [CuL2]BF4(L=4-methoxycarbonyl-6-(4-methylphenyl)-2,2′-bipyridine (a), 6-(4-hydroxymethylphenyl)-2,2′-bipyridine (b) and 6-(4-methoxylphenyl)-2,2′-bipyridine (c)) and [Cu2(μ-I)2L2] were prepared, and the crystal structures of the complexes were obtained from signal-crystal X-ray diffractional analysis. The spectroscopic properties of the complexes in dichloromethane are dominated by low energy MLCT bands from 360 to 650 nrn. The electrochemical studies of mononuclear complexes reveal that the complexes have stable copper(Ⅰ) state.  相似文献

用LB技术和原子力显微镜(AFM)研究了1,2-二油酸甘油-3-磷脂酰胆碱(DOPC)、1,2-二油酸甘油-3-磷脂酰乙醇胺(DOPE)和神经酰胺(Ceramide)对鞘磷脂(SM)/胆固醇(Chol)结构的影响. 实验结果表明, 在表面压力较低时, 每种混合脂双层膜都呈现均匀分布的脂双层结构. 随着表面压力的增加, 形态发生了明显的变化: (1) SM/Chol二元组分双层膜形成均一的液态有序相微区结构, 衬底覆盖率达到80%; (2) DOPC的加入促使SM/Chol双层膜出现相分离现象, SM/Chol形成的液态有序相 “岛状” 微区结构漂浮在液态无序相的DOPC上部, 约占总面积的30%; (3) DOPE与SM/Chol形成的双层膜明显不同于DOPC/SM/Chol, 呈现出液态无序相、液态有序相及凝胶相3相共存的结构; (4) Ceramide诱导了SM/Chol双层膜结构发生重排, 两层脂分子间发生翻转形成囊泡结构, 部分神经酰胺从液态有序相中分离形成小颗粒结构. 在较高膜压下, 各系统都呈现出具有特定形态的双层膜结构. 分子官能团的成键能力决定了双层膜形态结构.  相似文献

Five new copper(II) coordination compounds were prepared by template synthesis, using curcumin, 2-hydrazinobenzothiazole and metal salt (copper chloride, bromide, acetate and nitrate) in 1:2:1 and 1:2:2 molar ratio. The complexes were characterized by elemental and thermogravimetric analysis, IR, UV–Vis and mass spectroscopic methods and cyclic voltammetric studies. On the basis of physico-chemical measurements the following formulae have been assigned to the complexes: [Cu(H2L)(H2O)2]Cl2·H2O, [CuL]·H2O, [Cu(H2L)(H2O)Br]Br·5H2O, [Cu2L(H2O)4](NO3)2·2H2O and [Cu2(H2L)(NO3)4]·H2O, where H2L is the hydrazone ligand formed in the reaction conditions. Metal complexes were tested for antioxidant activity by photochemiluminescence and this activity was quantified by comparison with TROLOX®, as standard. The results show that all complexes are more potent antioxidant agents than curcumin.  相似文献

Biodegradable elastomers represent a useful class of biomaterials. In this paper, a novel biodegradable elastomer, poly(PEG-co-CA) (PEC), was synthesized by condensation of poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) and citric acid (CA) under atmospheric pressure without any catalyst. We first synthesized a pre-polymer by carrying out a controlled condensation reaction between PEG and citric acid, and then post-polymerised and simultaneously cross-linked the pre-polymer in the mould at 120 °C. The pre-polymer was characterized by FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, GPC and DSC. A series of polymers were prepared at different post-polymerisation time and different monomer ratios. Measurements on the mechanical properties of PEC testified that the new polymers are elastomers with low hardness and big elongation, and hydrolytic degradation of the polymer films in a buffer of pH 7.4 at 37 °C showed that PEC had excellent degradability (all the films show the weight losses more than 60% after 96 h incubation). The different post-polymerisation time and monomer ratio had strong influence on the degradation rates and mechanical performances. The material is expected to be useful for controlled drug delivery and other biomedical applications.  相似文献

Abstract

In this study, 5-benzoyl-4-(4-(methylthio)phenyl)-6-phenyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-2-thioxo (1), oxo (2) and imino (3) pyrimidine derivatives were prepared via Multicomponent Cyclocondensation Reactions (MCRs). The compounds thiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidin-3(5H)-one (4) and thiazin-4(6H)-one (5) were obtained via the reaction of compound 1 with bromoacetic acid and 3-bromopropionic acid, respectively. Structures were determined by using FT-IR, 1H/13C NMR and elemental analyses. Also the compounds 4 and 5 were analyzed by X-ray single crystal analysis. All compounds were investigated as corrosion inhibitors using density functional theory (DFT) at the level of B3LYP/6-31G (d, p). According to the calculations, the compound 3 appears to be a good inhibitor for corrosion. On the other hand, total antioxidant properties were measured in vitro by DPPH?, ABTS?+ test, hemolysis of phenylhydrazine erythrocytes and metal chelating effect. The results were compared with standard antioxidants such as trolox and α-tocopherol. These data revealed that compounds 1, 2 and 5 are more active with respect to 3 and 4 in scavenging the radicals.  相似文献

Biologically active compounds with heteroaromatic ring system of cefotaxime sodium have been synthesized via aminomethylation reaction. The aminomethylation of cefotaxime sodium with various biologically potent sulphonamides/secondary amines was carried out and then characterized by elemental analysis and spectral studies – IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, Powder X-ray diffraction and Scanning Electron Microscopy. The compounds were screened for their antibacterial activity against various pathogenic bacteria at varying concentrations. The antibacterial activity of cefotaxime sodium derivatives was compared with parent sulphonamides. The toxicity of synthesized cefotaxime sodium derivatives was ascertained by LD50 test.  相似文献

For detection of low concentrations of analytes in complex biological matrices using optical biosensors, a high surface loading with capture molecules and a low nonspecific binding of nonrelevant matrix molecules are essential. To tailor biosensor surfaces in such a manner, poly(ethylene glycols) (PEG) in varying lengths were immobilised covalently onto glass-type surfaces in different mixing ratios and concentrations, and were subsequently modified with three different kinds of receptors. The nonspecific binding of a model protein (ovalbumin, OVA) and the maximum loading of the respective analytes to these prepared surfaces were monitored using label-free and time-resolved reflectometric interference spectroscopy (RIfS). The three different analytes used varied in size: 150 kDa for the anti-atrazine antibody, 60 kDa for streptavidin and 5 kDa for the 15-bp oligonucleotide. We investigated if the mixing of PEG in different lengths could increase the surface loadings of analyte mimicking a three-dimensional matrix as was found using dextrans as sensor coatings. In addition, the effect on the surface loading was investigated with regard to the size of the analyte molecule using such mixed PEGs on the sensor surface. For further characterisation of the surface coatings, polarisation modulation infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, and ellipsometry were applied. We report the synthesis and characterization of two new meso‐ferrocenylporphyrins, with the ferrocenyl unit attached at the para position of a C6F4 group by a C? N bond with ? NH(CH2)2NH? ( 2a ) and ? NH(CH2)4NH? ( 2b ) spacers. Compounds 2a and 2b were characterized through elemental analyses, electrospray ionization high‐resolution mass spectrometry, 1H NMR, UV–visible and fluorescence spectroscopies, electrochemistry and spectroelectrochemistry. The free base porphyrin 2 was included for comparison purposes. The binding ability of 2 and the porphyrin derivatives 2a and 2b with calf thymus DNA was determined using UV–visible and fluorescence spectroscopies. The results suggest that the interaction of these systems most probably occurs through π‐stacking by non‐classical modes involving the partial insertion of the C6F5 ring between adjacent base pairs on DNA and possible hydrogen interaction with the aliphatic ? NH(CH2)nNH? (n = 2 or 4) groups with calf thymus DNA. Moreover, we also demonstrate that porphyrins generate singlet oxygen species and show good photostability after irradiation.  相似文献

Reactions of 3-amino-4-aminoximidofurazan (AAOF) with Wittig–Horner reagents, trialkylphosphites, trisdialkylaminophosphines as well as the thiating Lawesson and Japanese reagents were studied. Elemental analysis and spectroscopic measurements were in good accord with the structures postulated for the new products. The antitumor activities of certain selected new compounds were screened, in vitro, against a panel of five (liver; HepG2; breast; MCF-7; lung; A549; colon; HCT116; and prostate PC3) human solid tumor cell lines.  相似文献

The synthesis, spectroscopic and electrochemical properties of the tetra-(3-ferrocenyl-7-oxycoumarin)-substituted zinc (II) and cobalt (II) phthalocyanines (3 and 4) are reported for the first time. The synthesis of novel 3-ferrocenyl-7-hydroxycoumarin (1) was performed according to Perkin reaction, and the ligand, 7-(3,4-dicyanophenoxy)-3-ferrocenylcoumarin (2), was synthesized by the reaction of 3-ferrocenyl-7-hydroxycoumarin with 4-nitrophthalonitrile in the presence of K2CO3 as the base in dry dimethylformamide. The preparation of the corresponding zinc (II) and cobalt (II) metallo phthalocyanines (3 and 4) substituted with 3-ferrocenyl-7-oxycoumarin moieties at β-positions of the phthalocyanine ring was achieved by the cyclotetramerization of the coumarin ligand (2) with relevant metal(II) acetates in dry 2-dimethylaminoethanol. The new compounds have been characterized by elemental analyses, FT-IR, 1H NMR, Mass and electronic spectroscopy. The fluorescence property of the zinc metallo phthalocyanine (3) is strongly affected by the presence of ferrocenyl moiety. The ferrocenyl moieties were very efficient in quenching the excited state of 3, which show very poor fluorescent intensity. The electrochemical properties of the complexes were also investigated by cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry techniques in non-aqueous medium. It was found that the redox-active ferrocene substituents are reduced concurrently at one potential.  相似文献

Triorganotin(IV) complexes of the type Me3Sn[OC(R1):CH(CH3)C:NR2OH] and Ph3Sn[OC(R′):CH(CH3)C:NR″OH] (R′ = ─CH3, ─C6H5; R″ = ─(CH2)2─, ─(CH2)3─) have been synthesized by the reactions of trimethyl/phenyltin(IV) chloride with the sodium salt of corresponding Schiff base ligands in unimolar ratio in refluxing tetrahydrofuran. All these compounds have been characterized using elemental analyses and their probable structures have been proposed on the basis of infrared, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 119Sn NMR and mass spectroscopic studies. In the trimethyltin(IV) derivatives the central tin atom is tetracoordinated, whereas in the analogous triphenyltin(IV)derivatives the central tin atom is pentacoordinated. All these ligands, metal precursors and corresponding triorganotin(IV) complexes have been screened for antimicrobial activities. A comparison of activities of the ligands and their corresponding triorganotin(IV) derivatives has been made. Attempts have also been made to relate the activity to the structure of these compounds.  相似文献
