Using coherent-state techniques, we prove a sampling theorem for Majorana’s (holomorphic) functions on the Riemann sphere and we provide an exact reconstruction formula as a convolution product of N samples and a given reconstruction kernel (a sinc-type function). We also discuss the effect of over- and under-sampling. Sample points are roots of unity, a fact which allows explicit inversion formulas for resolution and overlapping kernel operators through the theory of Circulant Matrices and Rectangular Fourier Matrices. The case of band-limited functions on the Riemann sphere, with spins up to J, is also considered. The connection with the standard Euler angle picture, in terms of spherical harmonics, is established through a discrete Bargmann transform.   相似文献

Using the theta correspondence we construct liftings from the cohomology with compact supports of locally symmetric spaces associated to O(p, q) (resp. U(p, q)) of degreenq (resp. Hodge typenq, nq) to the space of classical holomorphic Siegel modular forms of weight (p +q)/2 and genusn (resp. holomorphic hermitian modular forms of weightp +q and genusn). It is important to note that the cohomology with compact supports contains the cuspidal harmonic forms by Borel [3]. We can express the Fourier coefficients of the lift of η in terms of periods of η over certain totally geodesic cycles—generalizing Shintani’s solution [21] of a conjecture of Shimura. We then choose η to be the Poincaré dual of a (finite) cycle and obtain a collection of formulas analogous to those of Hirzebruch-Zagier [8]. In our previous work we constructed the above lifting but we were unable to prove that it took values in theholomorphic forms. Moreover, we were unable to compute the indefinite Fourier coefficients of a lifted class. By Koecher’s Theorem we may now conclude that all such coefficients are zero. On the Equivalence and Generalized of Weyl Theorem Weyl Theorem   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
We know that an operator T acting on a Banach space satisfying generalized Weyl's theorem also satisfies Weyl's theorem. Conversely we show that if all isolated eigenvalues of T are poles of its resolvent and if T satisfies Weyl's theorem, then it also satisfies generalized Weyl's theorem. We give also a sinlilar result for the equivalence of a-Weyl's theorem and generalized a-Weyl's theorem. Using these results, we study the case of polaroid operators, and in particular paranormal operators.  相似文献

In the paper we reduce Rédei’s theorem to its (p, p) special case using Hajós’ theorem. The paper also contains a proof for the (p, p) case.  相似文献

By using the concept of cone extensions and Dancs-Hegedus-Medvegyev theorem, Ha [Some variants of the Ekeland variational principle for a set-valued map. J. Optim. Theory Appl., 124, 187–206 (2005)] established a new version of Ekeland’s variational principle for set-valued maps, which is expressed by the existence of strict approximate minimizer for a set-valued optimization problem. In this paper, we give an improvement of Ha’s version of set-valued Ekeland’s variational principle. Our proof is direct and it need not use Dancs-Hegedus-Medvegyev theorem. From the improved Ha’s version, we deduce a Caristi-Kirk’s fixed point theorem and a Takahashi’s nonconvex minimization theorem for set-valued maps. Moreover, we prove that the above three theorems are equivalent to each other.  相似文献

In the present paper we examine the stability of Weyl’s theorem under perturbations. We show that if T is an isoloid operator on a Banach space, that satisfies Weyl’s theorem, and F is a bounded operator that commutes with T and for which there exists a positive integer n such that Fn is finite rank, then T + F obeys Weyl’s theorem. Further, we establish that if T is finite-isoloid, then Weyl’s theorem is transmitted from T to T + R, for every Riesz operator R commuting with T. Also, we consider an important class of operators that satisfy Weyl’s theorem, and we give a more general perturbation results for this class.  相似文献

Letf be a continuous function on the unit circle Γ, whose Fourier series is ω-absolutely convergent for some weight ω on the set of integersZ. If f is nowhere vanishing on Γ, then there exists a weightv onZ such that 1/f hadv-absolutely convergent Fourier series. This includes Wiener’s classical theorem. As a corollary, it follows that if φ is holomorphic on a neighbourhood of the range off, then there exists a weight Χ on Z such that φ ◯f has Χ-absolutely convergent Fourier series. This is a weighted analogue of Lévy’s generalization of Wiener’s theorem. In the theorems,v and Χ are non-constant if and only if ω is non-constant. In general, the results fail ifv or Χ is required to be the same weight ω.  相似文献

In this paper, Chebyshev’s theorem (1850) about Bertrand’s conjecture is re-extended using a theorem about Sierpinski’s conjecture (1958). The theorem had been extended before several times, but this extension is a major extension far beyond the previous ones. At the beginning of the proof, maximal gaps table is used to verify initial states. The extended theorem contains a constant r, which can be reduced if more initial states can be checked. Therefore, the theorem can be even more extended when maximal gaps table is extended. The main extension idea is not based on r, though. Ortho-u-monoids
In this paper, we study the class of ortho-u-monoids which are generalized orthogroups within the class of E(S)-semiabundant semigroups. After introducing the concept of (∼)-Green’s relations, and obtaining some important properties of (∼)-Green’s relations and super E(S)-semiabundant semigroups, we have given the semilattice decomposition of ortho-u-monoids and a structure theorem for regular ortho-u-monoids. The main techniques that we used in the study are the (∼)-Green’s relations, and the semi-spined product of semigroups.  相似文献

Using the notion of thin sets we prove a theorem of Weyl type for the Wolf essential spectrum ofTβ (H). *Further we show that Weyl’s theorem holds for a restriction convexoid operator and consequently modify some results of Berberian. Finally we show that Weyl’s theorem holds for a paranormal operator and that a polynomially compact paranormal operator is a compact perturbation of a diagnoal normal operator. A structure theorem for polynomially compact paranormal operators is also given.  相似文献

In this paper we give a simpler proof of the L p -Schwartz space isomorphism (0 < p ≤ 2) under the Fourier transform for the class of functions of left δ-type on a Riemannian symmetric space of rank one. Our treatment rests on Anker’s [2] proof of the corresponding result in the case of left K-invariant functions on X. Thus we give a proof which relies only on the Paley-Wiener theorem.  相似文献

By using a Borel density theorem for algebraic quotients, we prove a theorem concerning isometric actions of a Lie group G on a smooth or analytic manifold M with a rigid A-structure σ. It generalizes Gromov’s centralizer and representation theorems to the case where R(G) is split solvable and G/R(G) has no compact factors, strengthens a special case of Gromov’s open dense orbit theorem, and implies that for smooth M and simple G, if Gromov’s representation theorem does not hold, then the local Killing fields on [(M)\tilde]{\widetilde{M}} are highly non-extendable. As applications of the generalized centralizer and representation theorems, we prove (1) a structural property of Iso(M) for simply connected compact analytic M with unimodular σ, (2) three results illustrating the phenomenon that if G is split solvable and large then π 1(M) is also large, and (3) two fixed point theorems for split solvable G and compact analytic M with non-unimodular σ.  相似文献

Following Gaudry and Gürel who extended Kedlaya’s algorithm to superelliptic curves, we introduce Harvey’s optimisation for large characteristic p to the superelliptic case. As result, we state the most general algorithm to compute zeta functions that runs soft linear in p 1/2. We demonstrate its effectiveness using a Magma implementation.  相似文献

This paper gives an abstract version of de Finettis theorem that characterizes mixing measures with Lp densities. The general setting is reviewed; after the theorem is proved, it is specialized to coin tossing and to exponential random variables. Laplace transforms of bounded densities are characterized, and inversion formulas are discussed.  相似文献

Given a square matrix A, a Brauer’s theorem [Brauer A., Limits for the characteristic roots of a matrix. IV. Applications to stochastic matrices, Duke Math. J., 1952, 19(1), 75–91] shows how to modify one single eigenvalue of A via a rank-one perturbation without changing any of the remaining eigenvalues. Older and newer results can be considered in the framework of the above theorem. In this paper, we present its application to stabilization of control systems, including the case when the system is noncontrollable. Other applications presented are related to the Jordan form of A and Wielandt’s and Hotelling’s deflations. An extension of the aforementioned Brauer’s result, Rado’s theorem, shows how to modify r eigenvalues of A at the same time via a rank-r perturbation without changing any of the remaining eigenvalues. The same results considered by blocks can be put into the block version framework of the above theorem.  相似文献

We study the Segal-Bargmann transform on M(2). The range of this transform is characterized as a weighted Bergman space. In a similar fashion Poisson integrals are investigated. Using a Gutzmer’s type formula we characterize the range as a class of functions extending holomorphically to an appropriate domain in the complexification of M(2). We also prove a Paley-Wiener theorem for the inverse Fourier transform.  相似文献

Generalized Browder’s Theorem and SVEP   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
A bounded operator a Banach space, is said to verify generalized Browder’s theorem if the set of all spectral points that do not belong to the B-Weyl’s spectrum coincides with the set of all poles of the resolvent of T, while T is said to verify generalized Weyl’s theorem if the set of all spectral points that do not belong to the B-Weyl spectrum coincides with the set of all isolated points of the spectrum which are eigenvalues. In this article we characterize the bounded linear operators T satisfying generalized Browder’s theorem, or generalized Weyl’s theorem, by means of localized SVEP, as well as by means of the quasi-nilpotent part H 0IT) as λ belongs to certain subsets of . In the last part we give a general framework for which generalized Weyl’s theorem follows for several classes of operators.  相似文献

A key tool in recent advances in understanding arithmetic progressions and other patterns in subsets of the integers is certain norms or seminorms. One example is the norms on ℤ/Nℤ introduced by Gowers in his proof of Szemerédi’s Theorem, used to detect uniformity of subsets of the integers. Another example is the seminorms on bounded functions in a measure preserving system (associated to the averages in Furstenberg’s proof of Szemerédi’s Theorem) defined by the authors. For each integer k ≥ 1, we define seminorms on ℓ(ℤ) analogous to these norms and seminorms. We study the correlation of these norms with certain algebraically defined sequences, which arise from evaluating a continuous function on the homogeneous space of a nilpotent Lie group on a orbit (the nilsequences). Using these seminorms, we define a dual norm that acts as an upper bound for the correlation of a bounded sequence with a nilsequence. We also prove an inverse theorem for the seminorms, showing how a bounded sequence correlates with a nilsequence. As applications, we derive several ergodic theoretic results, including a nilsequence version of the Wiener-Wintner ergodic theorem, a nil version of a corollary to the spectral theorem, and a weighted multiple ergodic convergence theorem.  相似文献

We generalize the Lipschitz constant to fields of affine jets and prove that such a field extends to a field of total domain \mathbbRn{\mathbb{R}^n} with the same constant. This result may be seen as the analog for fields of the minimal Kirszbraun’s extension theorem for Lipschitz functions and, therefore, establishes a link between Kirszbraun’s theorem and Whitney’s theorem. In fact this result holds not only in Euclidean \mathbbRn{\mathbb{R}^n} but also in general (separable or not) Hilbert space. We apply the result to the functional minimal Lipschitz differentiable extension problem in Euclidean spaces and we show that no Brudnyi–Shvartsman-type theorem holds for this last problem. We conclude with a first approach of the absolutely minimal Lipschitz extension problem in the differentiable case which was originally studied by Aronsson in the continuous case.  相似文献
