The differential cross sections for elastic proton scattering on the unstable neutron-rich nuclei 8Li and 9Li at E = 700 and 60 MeV per nucleon were considered. The 8Li nucleus was treated on the basis of the three-body α-t-n model, while the 9Li nucleus was considered within the α-t-n and 7Li-n-n models. The cross sections in question were calculated within Glauber diffraction theory. A comparison of the results with available experimental data made it possible to draw conclusions on the quality of the wave functions and potential used in the calculations.  相似文献

An investigation of refractive effects in heavy-ion scattering is continued. For the elastic scattering of 16O nuclei on a 13C target at E(16O) = 132 MeV, the differential cross sections are measured for the first time in addition to previous measurements for targets from the carbon isotopes 12C and 14C. Airy structures that are similar for all isotopes and which have close cross sections are observed and are found to be consistent with the energy systematics of Airy minima that were obtained previously. The volume integrals of the real and imaginary parts of the optical potentials found in the present study are nearly identical for all of the isotopes considered here and are also in good agreement with the systematics obtained previously.  相似文献

A systematic investigation of the elastic scattering of the 9Be nucleus, which is among themost loosely bound stable nuclei was performed.Differential cross sections for elastic 9Be + 16O scattering were measured at a c.m. energy of 47.5 MeV (beam of 132-MeV 16O nuclei). Available data at different energy values and data for neighboring nuclei were included in our analysis. As a result, the very fact of rainbow scattering was reliably established for the first time in systems involving 9Be. In addition, the analysis in question made it possible to identify Airy minima and to determine unambiguously the nucleus-nucleus potential with a high probability.  相似文献

Elastic proton scattering is investigated as a means for probing density the distribution of exotic neutron-rich nuclei. In this context, the calculations for elastic p+8He scattering within the JLM and eikonal-approximation models are performed by using the cluster-orbital-shell-model-approximation parameters for the density distribution. The results of the calculations are compared with existing experi-mental data. It is found that, at large scattering angles, both models are sensitive to the extension of valence neutrons.  相似文献

The results of the elastic scattering of 6He+12C systemat E Lab = 18 MeV by using the barrier and internal wave decomposition of the S-matrix element within the framework of the WKB method are presented. This is the first detailed study for the interaction of the exotic 6He nucleus on different stable nuclei by using a semiclassicalmethod. In this paper, we show that in order to obtain the elastic scattering cross section of the 6He+12C systemat energies close to the Coulomb barrier, it is vitally important to take into account the inner complex turning points in the calculations and the tunneling effects play a crucial role to explain the experimental data. The semiclassical results are compared with the experimental data as well as the quantum-mechanical one.  相似文献

In a track nuclear photoemulsion exposed to a beam of 7Li nuclei accelerated to a momentum of 3 GeV/c per nucleon at the synchrophasotron of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR, Dubna), 13 events in which 7Li nuclei interacting with protons break up into 3H and 4He fragments were detected among 3730 inelastic-interaction events. For this fragmentation channel, the cross section was found to be 8 ± 2 mb. The average value of the fragment total transverse momentum was 214 ± 5 MeV/c. This value exceeds markedly the average value of the transverse-momentum transfer in the coherent dissociation of 7Li nuclei on track-emulsion nuclei (166±5MeV/c). The recoil-proton transverse momentum was on average 98% of the total proton momentum. The longitudinal-momentum distribution of protons was characterized by a variance of 16 MeV/c and a mean value of 37 ± 2MeV/c.  相似文献

It is found that the scattering of the fragile nucleus 6Li from 12C and 16O is unexpectedly transparent. It is shown that the internal-wave contribution is significantly large in the scattering, which suggests that some transparency could persist in the scattering involving the fragile nucleus 6He.  相似文献

In the present study, we have analysed the elastic scattering cross-section data of 9Li + 12C system at E lab = 540 MeV and 9Li + 208Pb system at E c.m. = 28.3 MeV for some cluster models and various density distributions of the 9Li nucleus. First, we have obtained five different density distributions of the 9Li nucleus to generate real potentials with the help of double-folding model. For these densities, we have calculated the elastic scattering angular distributions. Secondly, using a simple approach, we have investigated some cluster models of the 9Li nucleus consisting of 6He + 3H and 8Li + n systems. We have presented the comparison of elastic scattering angular distributions for each system with each other as well as with the experimental data. Finally, we have given the cross-section values obtained from the theoretical calculations for all the systems studied in this paper.  相似文献

We apply the renormalisation group (RG) to analyse scattering by short-range forces in systems with coupled channels. For two S -wave channels, we find three fixed points, corresponding to systems with zero, one or two bound or virtual states at threshold. We use the RG to determine the power countings for the resulting effective field theories. In the case of a single low-energy state, the resulting theory takes the form of an effective-range expansion in the strongly interacting channel. We also extend the analysis to include the effects of the Coulomb interaction between charged particles. The approach is then applied to the coupled p + ^7Li  相似文献

Coupled-channels calculations for the elastic and inelastic scattering of K+ at 715 MeV/c by 6Li and 12C at 635, 715 and 800 kaon Lab momenta have been analysed. The optical potentials of 12C and 6Li are calculated in terms of the alpha-particle and deuteron optical potentials. Good fits to the experimental data and phenomenological calculations are obtained for 6Li and 12C nuclei.  相似文献

The level structure of lithium isotope 6Li is studied in the reaction of the absorption of stopped pions 12С(π?, tt)X. States are sought up to excitation energies of ~40 MeV in the missing mass spectrum. Data on highly excited states are analyzed to determine their origins. The final results are compared to those from searches for the highly excited states of heavier lithium isotopes produced in the reaction of the absorption of stopped pions.  相似文献

The objective of the present study was to describe more precisely experimental data on elastic scattering in the 16O + 16O system at E lab = 124, 145, 250, 350, and 480 MeV and in the 16O + 12C system at E lab = 132, 170, 181, 200, 230, 260, and 281 MeV. A theory of the diffractive scattering of loosely bound three-cluster nuclei by nuclei was developed with allowance for Coulomb interaction. The differential cross sections for the scattering of projectile exotic nuclei 7Be and 8B by 12C nuclei at an energy of 40 MeV per nucleon were calculated within the proposed formalism. Elastic scattering and inclusive breakup of 6Li particles on 12C, 58Ni, 90Zr, and 208Pb targets are measured at 100A MeV. The elastic scattering data are compared with single channel and Coupled Discretized Continuum Channels calculations. The coupling-effect between the elastic and the breakup channels is important even at an incident energy of 100A MeV and cannot be neglected. The inclusive breakup data are investigated for orbital dispersion effects which are found to be less significant at 100A MeV.
