The reduction of graphene oxide (GO) to graphene (rGO) was achieved by using 20 kHz ultrasound in l-ascorbic acid (l-AA, reducing agent) aqueous solutions under various experimental conditions. The effects of ultrasound power, ultrasound pulse mode, reaction temperature, pH value and l-AA amount on the rates of rGO formation from GO reduction were investigated. The rates of rGO formation were found to be enhanced under the following conditions: high ultrasound power, long pulse mode, high temperature, high pH value and large amount of l-AA. It was also found that the rGO formation under ultrasound treatment was accelerated in comparison with a conventional mechanical mixing treatment. The pseudo rate and pseudo activation energy (Ea) of rGO formation were determined to discuss the reaction kinetics under both treatment. The Ea value of rGO formation under ultrasound treatment was clearly lower than that obtained under mechanical mixing treatment at the same condition. We proposed that physical effects such as shear forces, microjets and shock waves during acoustic cavitation enhanced the mass transfer and reaction of l-AA with GO to form rGO as well as the change in the surface morphology of GO. In addition, the rates of rGO formation were suggested to be affected by local high temperatures of cavitation bubbles.  相似文献

In this study, ultrasonic/microwave-assisted extraction (UMAE), microwave-assisted extraction (UAE), ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE), and pressurized liquid extraction (PLE) were applied to extract green coffee oil (GCO), and the physicochemical indexes, fatty acids, tocopherols, diterpenes, and total phenols as well as antioxidant activity of GCO were investigated and compared. The results indicated that the extraction yield of UMAE was the highest (10.58 ± 0.32%), while that of PLE was the lowest (6.34 ± 0.65%), and linoleic acid and palmitic acid were the major fatty acids in the GCO, ranging from 40.67% to 43.77% and 36.57% to 38.71%, respectively. A large proportion of fatty acids and phytosterols were not significantly influenced by the four extraction techniques. However, tocopherols, diterpenes, total phenols, and the free radical scavenging activity were significantly different among these four GCOs. Moreover, structural changes in the coffee residues were explored by scanning electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Overall, the high antioxidant activity of GCO demonstrated that it can be used as a highly economical natural product in the food and agricultural industries.  相似文献

Degradation of five textile dyes, namely Reactive Red 141 (RR 141), Reactive Blue 21 (RB 21), Acid Red 114 (AR 114), Acid Blue 113 (AB 113) and Basic Violet 16 (BV 16) in aqueous solution has been carried out with ultrasound (US) and in combination with rare earth ions (La3+ and Pr3+). Kinetic analysis of the data showed a pseudo-first order degradation reaction for all the dyes. The rate constant (k), half life (t1/2) and the process efficiency (φ) for various processes in degradation of dyes under different experimental conditions have been calculated. The influence of concentrations of dyes (16–40 mg/L), pH (5, 7 and 9) and rare earth ion concentration (4, 12 and 20 mg/L) on the degradation of dyes have also been studied. The degradation percentage increased with increasing rare earth amount and decreased with increasing concentration of dyes. Both horn and bath type sonicators were used at 20 kHz and 250 W for degradation. The sonochemical degradation rate of dyes in the presence of rare earths was related to the type of chromophoric groups in the dye molecule. Degradation sequence of dyes was further examined through LCMS and Raman spectroscopic techniques, which confirmed the sonochemical degradation of dyes to non-toxic end products.  相似文献

In this work, as a new strategy, ultrasound/H2O2/MOF system was firstly applied by environmental-benign Fe-MOFs (MIL-53, MIL-88B and MIL-101) for tetracycline hydrochloride removal. The synthetic Fe-MOFs were characterized by XRD, FTIR, SEM, XPS, N2 sorption-desorption isotherms and CO-FTIR. MIL-88B demonstrated the best catalytic performance because of its highest amount of Lewis acid sites. Influencing factors, contrast experiment, and corresponding dynamics were carried out to obtain the best experimental conditions and reaction system. Under optimal conditions ([Tetracycline hydrochloride] = 10 mg/L, [MIL-88B] = 0.3 g/L, [H2O2] = 44 mM, [ultrasound power] = 60 W, and pH = 5.0), the-first-order kinetic rate constant k was calculated to be 0.226 min−1, higher than the simple combination of the ultrasound system (0.004) and MIL-88B/H2O2 system (0.163), indicating the importance of synergistic effect between ultrasound and Fenton reaction. EPR test and quenching experiment proved that ·OH is mainly responsible for tetracycline hydrochloride removal. The major reaction path is the adsorption and decomposition of H2O2 by coordinative unsaturated iron sites on Fe-MOF, but it is not the only path. The direct decomposition of H2O2 and the cavitation effect caused by ultrasound also contribute to the generation of OH.  相似文献
