Crossed Andreev reflection (CAR) under the influence of anisotropic pairing symmetry is considered. It is shown that CAR is sensitive to the Fermi energy and the orientation of the gap. In addition, the oscillatory period of CAR can be not only tunable by the potential energy in the superconductor region, it also can be modulated by the length of the superconductor region. The physical origination for those phenomena has also been analyzed.  相似文献

PC-19-INV: In order to clarify the mechanism of superconductivity in the iron-based compound recently discovered by Hosono’s group, we have first constructed a tight-binding model in terms of the maximally localized Wannier orbitals from a first-principles electronic structure calculation. The model has turned out to involve all the five Fe 3d bands. This is used to calculate the spin and charge susceptibilities with the five-band random-phase approximation, which are then plugged into the linearised Eliashberg equation. For a doped system we obtain an unconventional s-wave pairing with sign-reversing gap functions. To be more precise, the gap function is a 5×5 matrix, for which the diagonal elements mainly comprise dx2-y2 and dyz,dxz orbital components. The strong dependence of the gap between different orbitals may be observed experimentally.  相似文献

We analyze antiferromagnetism and superconductivity in novel Fe-based superconductors within the weak-coupling, itinerant model of electron and hole pockets near (0, 0) and (π, π) in the folded Brillouin zone. We discuss the interaction Hamiltonian, the nesting, the RG flow of the couplings at energies above and below the Fermi energy, and the interplay between SDW magnetism, superconductivity and charge orbital order. We argue that SDW antiferromagnetism wins at zero doping but looses to superconductivity upon doping. We show that the most likely symmetry of the superconducting gap is A1g in the folded zone. This gap has no nodes on the Fermi surface but changes sign between hole and electron pockets. We also argue that at weak coupling, this pairing predominantly comes not from spin fluctuation exchange but from a direct pair hopping between hole and electron pockets.  相似文献

In the Eliashberg integral equations for d-wave superconductivity, two different functions (α2F)n(ω, θ) and (α2F)p,d(ω) determine, respectively, the “normal” self-energy and the “pairing” self-energy. ω is the frequency of fluctuations scattering the fermions whose momentum is near the Fermi-surface and makes an angle θ to a chosen axis. We present a quantitative analysis of the high-resolution laser based Angle Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy (ARPES) data on a slightly under doped cuprate compound Bi2212 and use the Eliashberg equations to deduce the ω and θ dependence of (α2F)n(ω, θ) for T just above Tc and below Tc. Besides its detailed ω dependence, we find the remarkable result that this function is nearly independent of θ between the (π; π)-direction and 25 degrees from it, except for the dependence of the cut-off energy on θ. Assuming that the same fluctuations determine both the normal and the pairing self-energy, we ask what theories give the function (α2F)p,d(ω) required for the d-wave pairing instability at high temperatures as well as the deduced (α2F)n(θ, ω). We show that the deduced (α2F)n(θ, ω) can only be obtained from antiferromagnetic (AFM) fluctuations if their correlation length is smaller than a lattice constant. Using (α2F)p,d(ω) consistent with such a correlation length and the symmetry of matrix-elements scattering fermions by AFM fluctuations, we calculate Tc and show that AFM fluctuations are excluded as the pairing mechanism for d-wave superconductivity in cuprates. We also consider the quantumcritical fluctuations derived microscopically as the fluctuations of the observed loop–current order discovered in the under-doped cuprates, and which lead to the marginal Fermi–liquid properties in the normal state. We show that their frequency dependence and the momentum dependence of their matrix-elements to scatter fermions are consistent with the θ and ω dependence of the deduced (α2F)n(ω, θ). The pairing kernel (α2F)p,d(ω) calculated using the experimental values in the Eliashberg equation gives d-wave instability at Tc comparable to the experiments.  相似文献

由于量子环特殊的结构,我们尝试过不少方法,发现一般传统方法很难求解薛定谔方程,故很难求出它的波函数和能级。国内外很多学者从事这方面的研究,但发表的文献非常少。有必要寻找一些新的方法从事这方面的研究工作,本文中采用了B样条函数近似拟合波函数的方法,计算了一个在谐振子束缚势和磁场作用下含有杂质的二维量子环中的电子能级。研究了电子能级随磁场强度、束缚势的变化关系以及电子能级与量子环半径的关系。我们发现电子能级随磁场强度、束缚势强度的增强而增强;每一个能级都有一个最小值在特定的量子环半径上,并且随着能级的增加,最小值的位置向半径大的方向偏移。  相似文献

The effects of the interaction between electron and bulk longitudinal optical (LO) phonon and surface optical (SO) phonon on the impurity binding energy of the ground state in a polar crystal slab within an external electric field are derived by using the method of a variational wavefunction. The binding energy of the bound polaron is obtained as a function of the impurity position, the slab thickness and the electric field strength. It is found that the polaronic correction to the impurity binding energy by the SO phonon may be enhanced and that by the LO phonon may be reduced with increasing electric field strength. And the effect of the electron-phonon interaction is quite important in increasing the values of binding energy.  相似文献

We study the effect of a single nonmagnetic impurity on the recently discovered (K,Tl)Fe(x)Se(2) superconductors, within both a toy two-band model and a more realistic five-band model. We find that, out of five types of pairing symmetry under consideration, only the d(x(2)-y(2))-wave pairing gives rise to impurity resonance states. The intragap states have energies far away from the Fermi energy. The existence of these intragap states is robust against the presence or absence of interband scattering. However, the interband scattering does tune the relative distribution of local density of states at the resonance states. All these features can readily be accessed by STM experiments, and are proposed as a means to test the pairing symmetry of the new superconductors.  相似文献

超导是一种奇异的宏观量子现象.100多年来,已发现的超导体主要分为两类:以金属或者合金为代表的常规超导体以及以铜氧化物和铁基高温超导体为代表的非常规超导体.常规超导体的超导机理能被BCS超导理论完美解释,但高温超导体的超导机理至今仍未达成共识,已经成为凝聚态物理领域中长期争论且充满挑战的重大科学问题.从实验上揭示非常规超导材料的微观电子结构,是理解其奇异正常态和超导电性机理、建立新理论的前提和基础.角分辨光电子能谱技术,由于可以实现对材料中电子的能量、动量和自旋的直接测量,在高温超导研究中发挥了重要的作用.本文综述了我们利用角分辨光电子能谱技术在铜氧化物和铁基高温超导体电子结构和超导机理研究中取得的一些进展,主要包括母体的电子结构、正常态的非费米液体行为、超导态的能带和超导能隙结构以及多体相互作用等.这些结果为理解铜氧化物和铁基高温超导体的物性及超导机理提供了重要的信息.  相似文献

We introduce and study an extended "t-U-J" two-orbital model for the pnictides that includes Heisenberg terms deduced from the strong coupling expansion. Including these J terms explicitly allows us to enhance the strength of the (π,0)-(0,π) spin order which favors the presence of tightly bound pairing states even in the small clusters that are here exactly diagonalized. The A(1g) and B(2g) pairing symmetries are found to compete in the realistic spin-ordered and metallic regime. The dynamical pairing susceptibility additionally unveils low-lying B(1g) states, suggesting that small changes in parameters may render any of the three channels stable.  相似文献

We present an improved analysis of the phase transitions in spin-triplet ferromagnetic superconductors within Ginzburg–Landau theory. We put special emphasis on the phase transitions from normal phase to the mixed phase of coexistence of ferromagnetism and unconventional superconductivity. We present a detailed analysis of the different phases that can occur and analyze the question under which conditions the phase transitions from normal phase to the mixed phase of coexistence of ferromagnetism and unconventional superconductivity are possible when compared to other phase transitions. The conditions for the phase transitions and the stability conditions are calculated. On the basis of this model, it is argued that the transition from normal phase to the mixed phase of coexistence is always of first order. It was observed from the theoretical calculations that the transition from the ferromagnetic phase to the coexistence phase can cross over from the first to the second order at the tricritical point.  相似文献

A generalization of the Cooper pairing mechanism is proposed which allows for a triplet state of lower energy. This is achieved by incorporating spin into the canonical commutation relations and by modifying the δ potential contact interaction. The gap equation contain as solutions both singlet and triplet states. It is shown that the triplet state is lower in energy than the singlet state which may explain the spin-triplet superconductivity observed.  相似文献

文章回顾了用核磁共振技术研究高温超导体的进展,着重介绍了局域电荷分布、d波超导能隙以及赝能隙的性质.除了CuO2面上空穴密度总数,Cu和O轨道上面空穴数的分布是决定Tc的重要参数.转变温度Tc取决于自旋晶格弛豫率,奈特位移可以显示出d波配对,而d波配对使得准粒子可以从涡线中心 “漏”到外面.超导能隙函数里存在节点,这也是非磁性杂质以及晶体无序会导致Tc明显降低的原因.高温超导体零温正常态在45T的强磁场下变成“费米弧”金属态,这说明赝能隙态和超导态共存于高温超导物质中.  相似文献

Effects of an electric field on CO oxidation of Au-embedded graphene are investigated using first-principles method. Results of our calculations show that the initial step of the reaction is more likely to proceed via the Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechanism in the presence of the field, and the reaction barrier can be tuned continuously by the electric field. The low-lying spectra of parabolic quantum dots with or without an impurity at the center are investigated.While it has been known that the electron-electron interaction leads to ground-state transitions on magic values of angular momentum in a magnetic field.We show,in this paper,that the implantation of an impurity ion at the center can either enhance or suppress such transitions,depending on whether it is an acceptor or a donor ion.  相似文献
