Acoustic properties of different periodic structures composed of alternating fluid and fluid-saturated porous layers obeying Biot’s theory are investigated. At first, the network of modes and the transmission coefficients of finite structures of six plates are studied in the frequency-angle of incidence plane. It is shown that the network of modes concentrates in localized domains of the plane where the transmission coefficients will take the greatest values. With this minimum of six plates, the structures exhibit the main features as for structures containing more plates, especially those with an infinite number of plates. Then, considering infinite structures the band gap calculations are led using the Bloch–Floquet theorem. The evanescent and propagative zones in the frequency-angle of incidence plane are determined. What is proposed here is a class of underwater porous screens that exhibits band gaps extending over great angular domains and enlarging in the frequency domain when the pores at the interfaces of the porous plates are sealed. The effect of porosity on the band gaps is also investigated.  相似文献

Research on the icephobic properties of fluoropolymer-based materials   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
Fluoropolymer, because of the extremely low surface energy, could be non-stick to water and thus could be a good candidate as anti-icing materials. In this paper, the icephobic properties of a series of fluoropolymer materials including pristine PTFE plates (P-PTFE), sandblasted PTFE plates (SB-PTFE), two PTFE coatings (SNF-1 and SNF-CO1), a fluorinated room-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber coating (F-RTV) and a fluorinated polyurethane coating (F-PU) have been investigated by using SEM, XPS, ice adhesion strength (tensile and shear) tests, and static and dynamic water contact angle analysis. Results show that the fluoropolymer material with a smooth surface can significantly reduce ice adhesion strength but do not show obvious effect in reducing ice accretion at −8 °C. Fluoropolymers with sub-micron surface structures can improve the hydrophobicity at normal temperature. It leads to an efficient reduction in the ice accretion on the surface at −8 °C, due to the superhydrophobicity of the materials. But the hydrophobicity of this surface descends at a low temperature with high humidity. Consequently, once ice layer formed on the surface, the ice adhesion strength enhanced rapidly due to the existence of the sub-micron structures. Ice adhesion strength of fluoropolymers is highly correlated to CA reduction observed when the temperature was changed from 20 °C to −8 °C. This property is associated with the submicron structure on the surface, which allows water condensed in the interspace between the sub-micron protrudes at a low temperature, and leads to a reduced contact angle, as well as a significantly increased ice adhesion strength.  相似文献

A picosecond x-ray laser speckle has been conducted to study the dynamics of a disordered surface domain structure (BaTiO3 with 90 degrees c/a domains) as a function of temperature for the first time. The transient surface structures induced by ferroelectric domains decrease as temperature increases towards the Curie temperature T(c) and completely disappear above T(c). The dramatic change of the spatial configuration of the c/a domains was observed to occur from a temperature 2 degrees C below T(c), near which the average correlated domain size at equilibrium decreases as (T(c)-T)(0.37+/-0.02).  相似文献

Direct observation of the antiferro (AF) magnetic domain structures of a NiO (0 0 1) surface is found to be possible using a spectroscopy photoelectron low-energy electron microscope (SPELEEM) and a commercial UV Hg excitation light source without using any polarizers. The principle is based on the magnetic linear dichroism (MLD) effect, where different domain contrasts are produced according to the relative angle between the antiferromagnetic axis and the linearly polarized light. The observed AF magnetic domain structures are strongly affected by both bulk AF magnetic domain structures and the stresses induced during the sample cleaving process. Moreover, the AF magnetic domain structures are found to be irreversible when the sample is heated to over its Néel temperature and then cooled. The possibility of imaging AF magnetic domain structures without using synchrotron radiation or a polarizer is attractive.  相似文献

Photoemission electron microscopy performed on a well-prepared surface of BaTiO3 reveals the persistence of surface domains at temperatures well above the bulk Curie temperature. Their patterns follow the ferroelectric domain structure observed at 300 K. The contrast between formerly outward polarized domains and in-plane polarized domains is preserved across the transition, while the contrast of inward polarized domains changes sign. The work functions of different possible structures are compared by first-principles calculations. The domain contrast in photoemission above the bulk Curie temperature is associated with a remaining tetragonal distortion of the topmost unit cells which is stabilized by an ionic surface relaxation.  相似文献

First-principle calculations of the electronic structure and electronic susceptibility were performed to study the relation between the nesting properties of the Fermi surface and the character of the temperature dependence of long-period structures of two types exemplified by Ag3Mg and Al3Ti alloys. The observed temperature dependence of the long period length 2M in the Al3Ti alloy was analyzed. It was shown that the temperature dependence of the size of the antiphase domain in long-period commensurate structures was determined by the special features of the electronic structure of the system, in particular, by the geometry of Fermi surface nesting regions.  相似文献

 利用电磁场张量法计算了平行板电磁脉冲模拟器内的电磁场并推导了其时域解析表达式。按照模拟器的平行板段和前后三角板的结构将平板近似为线网格。场的幅值由各线段元的不同滞后时间叠加来确定,其方向由线段元和场点的单位矢量经简单矢量运算来确定。计算结果表明:平行板段内的场具有横电磁分布特性,而靠近三角板处由于各线段元的非对称性贡献将使场出现其它分量。通过对模拟器的电场测量值与理论计算值相比较可知,两者大致相同。  相似文献

In this paper, we describe an optical geometry that facilitates our further characterization of the temperature changes above silver island films (SiFs) on sapphire plates, when exposed to microwave radiation. Since sapphire transmits IR, we designed an optical scheme to capture real-time temperature images of a thin water film on sapphire plates with and without SiFs during the application of a short microwave pulse. Using this optical scheme, we can accurately determine the temperature profile of solvents in proximity to metal structures when exposed to microwave irradiation. We believe that this optical scheme will provide us with a basis for further studies in designing metal structures to further improve plasmonic-fluorescence clinical sensing applications, such as those used in microwave accelerated metal-enhanced fluorescence (MAMEF).  相似文献

The formation of periodic domain structures in stoichiometric lithium niobate crystals via direct surface irradiation using a controllable electron beam in a scanning electron microscope is studied. The periodic domain structures are fabricated at different microscope parameters (current, voltage, charge density) and different ways of charge implantation. The irradiation modes for the formation of uniform periodic domain structures are experimentally found. The use of optimal electron-beam parameters and ways of crystal surface irradiation make it possible to fabricate domain structures with a period of 6.9 μm in a crystal 0.5 mm thick. Domain structures of this kind can be used for optical wavelength conversion by quasi-phase-matching and second harmonic generation in lithium niobate.  相似文献

On the basis of numerical minimization of total energy in magnetic triaxial ferromagnetic films with a surface of a (1 1 0)-type, we investigated two-dimensional structures of domain walls within a rigorous micromagnetic approach that takes into account all the main interactions including the dipole–dipole one. Novel two-vortex and three-vortex domain wall structures are established to exist. The profiles of domain wall structures and their stability regions are studied.  相似文献

This paper studies quantitatively the generation of Lamb waves in thin bonded plates subjected to laser illumination, after considering the viscoelasticity of the adhesive layer. The displacements of such plates have been calculated in the frequency domain by using the finite element method, and the time domain response has been reconstructed by applying an inverse fast Fourier transform. Numerical results are presented showing the normal surface displacement for several configurations: a single aluminum plate, a three-layer bonded plate, and a two-layer plate. The characteristics of the laser-generated Lamb waves for each particular case have been investigated. In addition, the sensitivity of the transient responses to variations of material properties (elastic modulus, viscoelastic modulus, and thickness) of the adhesive layer has been studied in detail.  相似文献

The possibilities of the most sensitive method of laser thermometry of transparent and semitransparent plates have been determined for the varying optical properties of the surface and the conditions of the surface probing. The contrast of light interference in the plates was studied as a function of the diameter of the probing laser beam, the angle of the light incidence onto the surface and its roughness, and the presence of antireflecting and reflecting films on the surface. It is established that the contrast also depends on the transverse temperature gradient in the plate. The measurements were made on silicon single crystals and the optical K-8 glass.  相似文献

The reliability of thermocouples with separation measuring junction in temperature measurement in the cooling process of hot steel plates with impingement jet has been investigated using direct and inverse finite element analysis (FEA). It is concluded that while the attachment of thermocouple wires on surface has negligible influence on surface temperature distribution during air cooling, the conduction of wires in a jet impingement water cooling process has significant effect on the measured temperature. The disturbance of the temperature field due to the introduction of a small hole for the installation of internal thermocouple has also been studied and showed similar but less pronounced effects to those of the surface measurement. An increased distortion of the temperature field is evident when the thermocouple is attached on the top surface directly above the bottom surface of hole.  相似文献

The technique of acoustic generation by microwave excitation in structures is applied here to study the in-plane vibration of full or hollowed elliptic plates. The absorption of pulsed microwave irradiations by a material causes a sudden rise of its temperature and the generation of an acoustic wave by thermoelastic effect. A semi-analytic theoretical model is developed to predict the in-plane displacement fields in elliptic thin plates submitted to a uniform temperature rise. It is assumed that the isotropic and viscoelastic plate constitutive material is submitted to a thermoelastic excitation under a plane stress state. The wave equations that govern the Helmholtz displacement potentials are resolved in an elliptic cylindrical system of coordinates by means of infinite angular and radial Mathieu functions series. The displacement field is finally obtained by taking into account the zero stress conditions on the boundaries of the plates. The comparison between the theoretical and the experimental responses of full and hollowed elliptic plates shows a good agreement that permits the validation of the developed model.  相似文献

Mean-field study of the stripe structures is conducted for a hole-doped Hubbard model. For bond-directed stripes, the Fermi surface consists of segments of an open surface and the boundaries of the hole pockets which appear in the diagonal region of momenta under certain conditions. Segments of the first type are due to one-dimensional bands of states localized on the domain walls. The relation of bands to the doping and temperature dependences of the Hall constant is discussed. In connection with the observation of quantum magnetic oscillations, a systematic search for the electron pockets has been carried out. It is shown that the formation of such pockets in bilayer models is quite possible. The article is published in the original.  相似文献

The kinetic instability arising during crystallization of metastable supercooled binary melts (produced by applying laser radiation to respective binary compounds) and culminating in the formation of ordered structures is studied. The nonlinear self-organization of inhomogeneous structures in a polydisperse system is statistically simulated using (i) a self-consistent set of kinetic equations for the cluster distributions in space and size and (ii) balance equations for the temperature and concentration of dissolved impurities. Allowance is made for cluster growth and evaporation, dependence of the phase transition temperature on the curvature of the cluster surface and impurity concentration, diffusion mobility of the clusters, and their withdrawal from the nucleation zone. The domain of the kinetic instability and the scale of the resulting inhomogeneous structures are determined.  相似文献

The importance of elastic wave propagation problem in plates arises from the application of ultrasonic elastic waves in non-destructive evaluation of plate-like structures. However, precise study and analysis of acoustic guided waves especially in non-homogeneous waveguides such as functionally graded plates are so complicated that exact elastodynamic methods are rarely employed in practical applications. Thus, the simple approximate plate theories have attracted much interest for the calculation of wave fields in FGM plates. Therefore, in the current research, the classical plate theory (CPT), first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT) and third-order shear deformation theory (TSDT) are used to obtain the transient responses of flexural waves in FGM plates subjected to transverse impulsive loadings. Moreover, comparing the results with those based on a well recognized hybrid numerical method (HNM), we examine the accuracy of the plate theories for several plates of various thicknesses under excitations of different frequencies. The material properties of the plate are assumed to vary across the plate thickness according to a simple power-law distribution in terms of volume fractions of constituents. In all analyses, spatial Fourier transform together with modal analysis are applied to compute displacement responses of the plates. A comparison of the results demonstrates the reliability ranges of the approximate plate theories for elastic wave propagation analysis in FGM plates. Furthermore, based on various examples, it is shown that whenever the plate theories are used within the appropriate ranges of plate thickness and frequency content, solution process in wave number-time domain based on modal analysis approach is not only sufficient but also efficient for finding the transient waveforms in FGM plates.  相似文献

采用SOLPS程序模拟预测HL-2M装置常规和雪花减偏滤器靶板上的热通量。当流入边缘等离子体区域的热功率约为10MW时,利用CFX/ANSYS软件分析这两类偏滤器各结构、冷却水温度分布及形变和热应力分布情况。结果表明:等离子体总功率相同,雪花减偏滤器靶板上的最高温度比常规偏滤器低169℃;雪花减偏滤器结构所承受的最大热应力和形变比常规偏滤器低约3/7。不改变热负载剖面分布,按一定比例提升热流密度或延长放电时间,雪花减偏滤器体现出比常规偏滤器靶板温升低、冷却水温均衡等优点。因此,雪花减偏滤器能处理更多流进偏滤器区域的热能,有效地降低偏滤器工程设计要求。  相似文献
