We calculate the ordinal L p index defined in [3] for Rosenthal’s space X p , \({\ell_p}\) and \({\ell_2}\). We show that an infinite-dimensional subspace of L p \({(2 < p < \infty)}\) non-isomorphic to \({\ell_2}\) embeds in \({\ell_p}\) if and only if its ordinal index is the minimal possible. We also give a sufficient condition for a \({\mathcal{L}_p}\) subspace of \({\ell_p \oplus \ell_2}\) to be isomorphic to X p .  相似文献

Let \(\pi _{\varphi }\) (or \(\pi _{\psi }\)) be an automorphic cuspidal representation of \(\text {GL}_{2} (\mathbb {A}_{\mathbb {Q}})\) associated to a primitive Maass cusp form \(\varphi \) (or \(\psi \)), and \(\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }\) be the jth symmetric power lift of \(\pi _{\varphi }\). Let \(a_{\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }}(n)\) denote the nth Dirichlet series coefficient of the principal L-function associated to \(\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }\). In this paper, we study first moments of Dirichlet series coefficients of automorphic representations \(\mathrm{sym}^3 \pi _{\varphi }\) of \(\text {GL}_{4}(\mathbb {A}_{\mathbb {Q}})\), and \(\pi _{\psi }\otimes \mathrm{sym}^2 \pi _{\varphi }\) of \(\text {GL}_{6}(\mathbb {A}_{\mathbb {Q}})\). For \(3 \le j \le 8\), estimates for \(|a_{\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }}(n)|\) on average over a short interval have also been established.  相似文献

We study the local Hecke algebra \({\mathcal{H}_{G}(K)}\) for \({G = {\rm GL}_{n}}\) and K a non-archimedean local field of characteristic zero. We show that for \({G = {\rm GL}_{2}}\) and any two such fields K and L, there is a Morita equivalence \({\mathcal{H}_{G}(K) \sim_{M} \mathcal{H}_{G}(L)}\), by using the Bernstein decomposition of the Hecke algebra and determining the intertwining algebras that yield the Bernstein blocks up to Morita equivalence. By contrast, we prove that for \({G = {\rm GL}_{n}}\), there is an algebra isomorphism \({\mathcal{H}_{G}(K) \cong \mathcal{H}_{G}(L)}\) which is an isometry for the induced \({L^1}\)-norm if and only if there is a field isomorphism \({K \cong L}\).  相似文献

In this note, we find a monomial basis of the cyclotomic Hecke algebra \({\mathcal{H}_{r,p,n}}\) of G(r,p,n) and show that the Ariki-Koike algebra \({\mathcal{H}_{r,n}}\) is a free module over \({\mathcal{H}_{r,p,n}}\), using the Gröbner-Shirshov basis theory. For each irreducible representation of \({\mathcal{H}_{r,p,n}}\), we give a polynomial basis consisting of linear combinations of the monomials corresponding to cozy tableaux of a given shape.  相似文献

Let \({\varphi: \mathbb{P}^N_K\to\mathbb{P}^N_K}\) be a morphism of degree d ≥ 2 defined over a field K that is algebraically closed field and complete with respect to a nonarchimedean absolute value. We prove that a modified Green function \({\hat{g}_\varphi}\) associated to \({\varphi}\) is Hölder continuous on \({\mathbb{P}^N(K)}\) and that the Fatou set \({\mathcal{F}(\varphi)}\) of \({\varphi}\) is equal to the set of points at which \({\hat{g}_\Phi}\) is locally constant. Further, \({\hat{g}_\varphi}\) vanishes precisely on the set of points P such that \({\varphi}\) has good reduction at every point in the forward orbit \({\mathcal{O}_\varphi(P)}\) of P. We also prove that the iterates of \({\varphi}\) are locally uniformly Lipschitz on \({\mathcal{F}(\varphi)}\) .  相似文献

Any commutative, cancellative semigroup S with 0 equipped with a uniformity can be embedded in a topological group \(\widetilde{S}\). We introduce the notion of semigroup symmetry T which enables us to turn \(\widetilde{S}\) into an involutive group. In Theorem 2.8 we prove that if S is 2-torsion-free and T is 2-divisible then the decomposition of elements of \(\widetilde{S}\) into a sum of elements of the symmetric subgroup \(\widetilde{S}_{s}\) and the asymmetric subgroup \(\widetilde{S}_{a}\) is polar. In Theorem 3.7 we give conditions under which a topological group \(\widetilde{S}\) is a topological direct sum of its symmetric subgroup \(\widetilde{S}_{s}\) and its asymmetric subgroup \(\widetilde{S}_{a}\). Theorem 2.8 and Theorem 3.7 are designed to be useful tools in studying Minkowski–Rådström–Hörmander spaces (and related topological groups \(\widetilde{S}\)), which are natural extensions of semigroups of bounded closed convex subsets of real Hausdorff topological vector spaces.  相似文献

Let \({p \in (1,\infty)}\), \({s \in (0,1)}\) and \({\Omega \subset {\mathbb{R}^{N}}}\) a bounded open set with boundary \({\partial\Omega}\) of class C 1,1. In the first part of the article we prove an integration by parts formula for the fractional p-Laplace operator \({(-\Delta)_{p}^{s}}\) defined on \({\Omega \subset {\mathbb{R}^{N}}}\) and acting on functions that do not necessarily vanish at the boundary \({\partial\Omega}\). In the second part of the article we use the above mentioned integration by parts formula to clarify the fractional Neumann and Robin boundary conditions associated with the fractional p-Laplacian on open sets.  相似文献

For a family of interpolation norms \({\| \cdot \|_{1,2,s}}\) on \({\mathbb{R}^{n}}\), we provide a distribution over random matrices \({\Phi_s \in \mathbb{R}^{m \times n}}\) parametrized by sparsity level s such that for a fixed set X of K points in \({\mathbb{R}^{n}}\), if \({m \geq C s \log(K)}\) then with high probability, \({\frac{1}{2}\| \varvec{x} \|_{1,2,s} \leq \| \Phi_s (\varvec{x}) \|_1 \leq 2 \| \varvec{x} \|_{1,2,s}}\) for all \({\varvec{x} \in X}\). Several existing results in the literature roughly reduce to special cases of this result at different values of s: For s = n, \({\| \varvec{x} \|_{1,2,n}\equiv \| \varvec{x} \|_{1}}\) and we recover that dimension reducing linear maps can preserve the ?1-norm up to a distortion proportional to the dimension reduction factor, which is known to be the best possible such result. For s = 1, \({\| \varvec{x} \|_{1,2,1}\equiv \| \varvec{x} \|_{2}}\), and we recover an ?2/?1 variant of the Johnson–Lindenstrauss Lemma for Gaussian random matrices. Finally, if \({\varvec{x}}\) is s- sparse, then \({\| \varvec{x} \|_{1,2,s} = \| \varvec{x} \|_1}\) and we recover that s-sparse vectors in \({\ell_1^n}\) embed into \({\ell_1^{\mathcal{O}(s \log(n))}}\) via sparse random matrix constructions.  相似文献

A topological space X is countably paracompact if and only if X satisfies the condition (A): For any decreasing sequence {Fi} of non-empty closed sets with \({\bigcap_{i=1}^{\infty} F_{i} = \emptyset}\) there exists a sequence {Gi} of open sets such that \({\bigcap_{i=1}^{\infty}\overline{G_{i}}=\emptyset}\) and \({F_{i} \subset G_{i}}\) for every i. We will show, by an example, that this is not true in generalized topological spaces. In fact there is a \({\mu}\)-normal generalized topological space satisfying the analogue of A which is not even countably \({\mu}\)-metacompact. Then we study the relationships between countably \({\mu}\)-paracompactness, countably \({\mu}\)-metacompactness and the condition corresponding to condition A in generalized topological spaces.  相似文献

Let \(A=U|A|\) be the polar decomposition of A on a complex Hilbert space \({\mathscr {H}}\) and \(0<s,t\). Then \({\widetilde{A}}_{s, t}=|A|^sU|A|^t\) and \({\widetilde{A}}_{s, t}^{(*)}=|A^*|^sU|A^*|^t\) are called the generalized Aluthge transformation and generalized \(*\)-Aluthge transformation of A, respectively. A pair (AB) of operators is said to have the Fuglede–Putnam property (breifly, the FP-property) if \(AX=XB\) implies \(A^*X=XB^*\) for every operator X. We prove that if (AB) has the FP-property, then \(({\widetilde{A}}_{s, t},{\widetilde{B}}_{s, t})\) and \((({\widetilde{A}}_{s, t})^{*},({\widetilde{B}}_{s, t})^{*})\) has the FP-property for every \(s,t>0\) with \(s+t=1\). Also, we prove that \(({\widetilde{A}}_{s, t},{\widetilde{B}}_{s, t})\) has the FP-property if and only if \((({\widetilde{A}}_{s, t})^{*},({\widetilde{B}}_{s, t})^{*})\) has the FP-property, where AB are invertible and \( 0 < s, t \) with \( s + t =1\). Moreover, we prove that if \(0 < s, t\) and \({\widetilde{A}}_{s, t}\) is positive and invertible, then \(\left\| {\widetilde{A}}_{s, t}X-X{\widetilde{A}}_{s, t}\right\| \le \left\| A\right\| ^{2t}\left\| ({\widetilde{A}}_{s, t})^{-1}\right\| \left\| X\right\| \) for every operator X. Also, if \( 0 <s, t\) and X is positive, then \(\left\| |{\widetilde{A}}_{s, t}|^{2r} X-X|{\widetilde{A}}_{s, t}|^{2r}\right\| \le \frac{1}{2}\left\| |A|\right\| ^{2r}\left\| X\right\| \) for every \(r>0\).  相似文献

Given \({\mathbb Z}\)-graded rings A and B, we ask when the graded module categories gr-A and gr-B are equivalent. Using \({\mathbb Z}\)-algebras, we relate the Morita-type results of Áhn-Márki and del Río to the twisting systems introduced by Zhang, and prove, for example: Theorem If A and B are \({\mathbb Z}\) -graded rings, then: (1) A is isomorphic to a Zhang twist of B if and only if the \({\mathbb Z}\) -algebras \(\overline{A} = \bigoplus_{i,j \in {\mathbb Z}} A_{j-i}\) and \(\overline{B} = \bigoplus_{i,j \in {\mathbb Z}} B_{j-i}\) are isomorphic. (2) If A and B are connected graded with A 1?≠?0, then gr-A???gr-?B if and only if \(\overline{A}\) and \( \overline{B}\) are isomorphic. This simplifies and extends Zhang’s results.  相似文献

Let \(\mathrm{SM}_{2n}(S^1,\mathbb {R})\) be a set of stable Morse functions of an oriented circle such that the number of singular points is \(2n\in \mathbb {N}\) and the order of singular values satisfies the particular condition. For an orthogonal projection \(\pi :\mathbb {R}^2\rightarrow \mathbb {R}\), let \({\tilde{f}}_0\) and \({\tilde{f}}_1:S^1\rightarrow \mathbb {R}^2\) be embedding lifts of f. If there is an ambient isotopy \(\tilde{\varphi }_t:\mathbb {R}^2\rightarrow \mathbb {R}^2\) \((t\in [0,1])\) such that \({\pi \circ \tilde{\varphi }}_t(y_1,y_2)=y_1\) and \(\tilde{\varphi }_1\circ {\tilde{f}}_0={\tilde{f}}_1\), we say that \({\tilde{f}}_0\) and \({\tilde{f}}_1\) are height isotopic. We define a function \(I:\mathrm{SM}_{2n}(S^1,\mathbb {R})\rightarrow \mathbb {N}\) as follows: I(f) is the number of height isotopy classes of embeddings such that each rotation number is one. In this paper, we determine the maximal value of the function I equals the n-th Baxter number and the minimal value equals \(2^{n-1}\).  相似文献

In a general unbounded uniform C 2-domain \({\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^n, n \geq 3}\) , and \({1\leq q\leq \infty}\) consider the spaces \({\tilde{L}^q(\Omega)}\) defined by \({\tilde{L^q}(\Omega) := \left\{\begin{array}{ll}L^q(\Omega)+L^2(\Omega),\quad q < 2, \\ L^q(\Omega)\cap L^2(\Omega),\quad q\geq 2, \end{array}\right.}\) and corresponding subspaces of solenoidal vector fields, \({\tilde{L}^q_\sigma(\Omega)}\) . By studying the complex and real interpolation spaces of these we derive embedding properties for fractional order spaces related to the Stokes problem and L p ? Let \(M = {{\widetilde M} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{\widetilde M} \Gamma }} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} \Gamma }\) be a Kähler manifold, where Γ ~ π1(M) and \(\widetilde M\) is the universal Kähler cover. Let (L, h) → M be a positive hermitian holomorphic line bundle. We first prove that the L2 Szeg? projector \({\widetilde \Pi _N}\) for L2-holomorphic sections on the lifted bundle \({\widetilde L^N}\) is related to the Szeg? projector for H0(M, LN) by \({\widehat \Pi _N}\left( {x,y} \right) = \sum\nolimits_{\gamma \in \Gamma } {{{\widetilde {\widehat \Pi }}_N}} \left( {\gamma \cdot x,y} \right)\). We then apply this result to give a simple proof of Napier’s theorem on the holomorphic convexity of \(\widetilde M\) with respect to \({\widetilde L^N}\) and to surjectivity of Poincaré series.  相似文献

We consider various aspects of the Segre variety \({\mathcal{S}:=\mathcal{S} _{1,1,1}(2)}\) in PG(7, 2), whose stabilizer group \({\mathcal{G}_{\mathcal{S}}<{\rm GL}(8,2)}\) has the structure \({\mathcal{N}\rtimes{\rm Sym}(3),}\) where \({\mathcal{N} :={\rm GL}(2,2)\times{\rm GL}(2,2)\times{\rm GL} (2,2).}\) In particular we prove that \({\mathcal{S}}\) determines a distinguished Z 3-subgroup \({\mathcal{Z}<{\rm GL}(8,2)}\) such that \({A\mathcal{Z}A^{-1}=\mathcal{Z},}\) for all \({A\in\mathcal{G}_{\mathcal{S}},}\) and in consequence \({\mathcal{S}}\) determines a \({\mathcal{G}_{\mathcal{S}}}\)-invariant spread of 85 lines in PG(7, 2). Furthermore we see that Segre varieties \({\mathcal{S}_{1,1,1}(2)}\) in PG(7, 2) come along in triplets \({\{\mathcal{S},\mathcal{S}^{\prime},\mathcal{S}^{\prime\prime}\}}\) which share the same distinguished Z 3-subgroup \({\mathcal{Z}<{\rm GL}(8,2).}\) We conclude by determining all fifteen \({\mathcal{G}_{\mathcal{S}}}\)-invariant polynomial functions on PG(7, 2) which have degree < 8, and their relation to the five \({\mathcal{G}_{\mathcal{S}}}\)-orbits of points in PG(7, 2).  相似文献

Let \({\frak {e}}\subset {\mathbb {R}}\) be a finite union of ?+1 disjoint closed intervals, and denote by ω j the harmonic measure of the j left-most bands. The frequency module for \({\frak {e}}\) is the set of all integral combinations of ω 1,…,ω ? . Let \(\{\tilde{a}_{n}, \tilde{b}_{n}\}_{n=-\infty}^{\infty}\) be a point in the isospectral torus for \({\frak {e}}\) and \(\tilde{p}_{n}\) its orthogonal polynomials. Let \(\{a_{n},b_{n}\}_{n=1}^{\infty}\) be a half-line Jacobi matrix with \(a_{n} = \tilde{a}_{n} + \delta a_{n}\), \(b_{n} = \tilde{b}_{n} +\delta b_{n}\). Suppose
$\sum_{n=1}^\infty \lvert \delta a_n\rvert ^2 + \lvert \delta b_n\rvert ^2 <\infty $
and \(\sum_{n=1}^{N} e^{2\pi i\omega n} \delta a_{n}\), \(\sum_{n=1}^{N} e^{2\pi i\omega n} \delta b_{n}\) have finite limits as N→∞ for all ω in the frequency module. If, in addition, these partial sums grow at most subexponentially with respect to ω, then for z∈???, \(p_{n}(z)/\tilde{p}_{n}(z)\) has a limit as n→∞. Moreover, we show that there are non-Szeg? class J’s for which this holds.

Let Ω be an open, simply connected, and bounded region in \(\mathbb {R}^{d}\), d ≥ 2, and assume its boundary ?Ω is smooth and homeomorphic to \(\mathbb {S}^{d-1}\). Consider solving an elliptic partial differential equation L u = f(?, u) over Ω with zero Dirichlet boundary value. The function f is a nonlinear function of the solution u. The problem is converted to an equivalent elliptic problem over the open unit ball \(\mathbb {B}^{d}\) in \(\mathbb {R}^{d}\), say \(\widetilde {L}\widetilde {u} =\widetilde {f}(\cdot ,\widetilde {u})\). Then a spectral Galerkin method is used to create a convergent sequence of multivariate polynomials \(\widetilde {u} _{n}\) of degree ≤ n that is convergent to \(\widetilde {u}\). The transformation from Ω to \(\mathbb {B}^{d}\) requires a special analytical calculation for its implementation. With sufficiently smooth problem parameters, the method is shown to be rapidly convergent. For \(u\in C^{\infty } \left (\overline {\Omega }\right ) \) and assuming ?Ω is a C boundary, the convergence of \(\left \Vert \widetilde {u} -\widetilde {u}_{n}\right \Vert _{H^{1}}\) to zero is faster than any power of 1/n. The error analysis uses a reformulation of the boundary value problem as an integral equation, and then it uses tools from nonlinear integral equations to analyze the numerical method. Numerical examples illustrate experimentally an exponential rate of convergence. A generalization to ?Δu + γ u = f(u) with a zero Neumann boundary condition is also presented.  相似文献

Let \({\Omega}\) be a Lipschitz bounded domain of \({\mathbb{R}^N}\), \({N\geq2}\), and let \({u_p\in W_0^{1,p}(\Omega)}\) denote the p-torsion function of \({\Omega}\), p > 1. It is observed that the value 1 for the Cheeger constant \({h(\Omega)}\) is threshold with respect to the asymptotic behavior of up, as \({p\rightarrow 1^+}\), in the following sense: when \({h(\Omega) > 1}\), one has \({\lim_{p\rightarrow 1^+}\left\|u_{p}\right\| _{L^\infty(\Omega)}=0}\), and when \({h(\Omega) < 1}\), one has \({\lim_{p\rightarrow 1^+}\left\|u_p\right\| _{L^\infty(\Omega)}=\infty}\). In the case \({h(\Omega)=1}\), it is proved that \({\limsup_{p\rightarrow1^+}\left\|u_p\right\|_{L^\infty(\Omega)}<\infty}\). For a radial annulus \({\Omega_{a,b}}\), with inner radius a and outer radius b, it is proved that \({\lim_{p\rightarrow 1^+}\left\|u_p\right\| _{L^\infty(\Omega_{a,b})}=0}\) when \({h(\Omega_{a,b})=1}\).  相似文献

In the context of continuous logic, this paper axiomatizes both the class \(\mathcal {C}\) of lattice-ordered groups isomorphic to C(X) for X compact and the subclass \(\mathcal {C}^+\) of structures existentially closed in \(\mathcal {C}\); shows that the theory of \(\mathcal {C}^+\) is \(\aleph _0\)-categorical and admits elimination of quantifiers; establishes a Nullstellensatz for \(\mathcal {C}\) and \(\mathcal {C}^+\); shows that \(C(X)\in \mathcal {C}\) has a prime-model extension in \(\mathcal {C}^+\) just in case X is Boolean; and proves that in a sense relevant to continuous logic, positive formulas admit in \(\mathcal {C}^+\) elimination of quantifiers to positive formulas.  相似文献

Let \(U'_q(\mathfrak {g})\) be a twisted affine quantum group of type \(A_{N}^{(2)}\) or \(D_{N}^{(2)}\) and let \(\mathfrak {g}_{0}\) be the finite-dimensional simple Lie algebra of type \(A_{N}\) or \(D_{N}\). For a Dynkin quiver of type \(\mathfrak {g}_{0}\), we define a full subcategory \({\mathcal C}_{Q}^{(2)}\) of the category of finite-dimensional integrable \(U'_q(\mathfrak {g})\)-modules, a twisted version of the category \({\mathcal C}^{(1)}_{Q}\) introduced by Hernandez and Leclerc. Applying the general scheme of affine Schur–Weyl duality, we construct an exact faithful KLR-type duality functor \({\mathcal F}_{Q}^{(2)}:\mathrm{Rep}(R) \rightarrow {\mathcal C}_{Q}^{(2)}\), where \(\mathrm{Rep}(R)\) is the category of finite-dimensional modules over the quiver Hecke algebra R of type \(\mathfrak {g}_{0}\) with nilpotent actions of the generators \(x_k\). We show that \({\mathcal F}_{Q}^{(2)}\) sends any simple object to a simple object and induces a ring isomorphism Open image in new window .  相似文献
