We study positive solutions of the following polyharmonic equation with Hardy weights associated to Navier boundary conditions on a half space:?????(-?)~mu(x)=u~p(x)/|x|~s,in R_+~n,u(x)=-?u(x)=…=(-?)~(m-1)u(x)=0,on ?R_+~n,(0.1)where m is any positive integer satisfying 02mn.We first prove that the positive solutions of(0.1)are super polyharmonic,i.e.,(-?)~iu0,i=0,1,...,m-1.(0.2) For α=2m,applying this important property,we establish the equivalence between (0.1) and the integral equation u(x)=c_n∫R_+~n(1/|x-y|~(n-α)-1/|x~*-y|~(n-α))u~p(y)/|y|~sdy,(0.3) where x~*=(x1,...,x_(n-1),-x_n) is the reflection of the point x about the plane R~(n-1).Then,we use the method of moving planes in integral forms to derive rotational symmetry and monotonicity for the positive solution of(0.3),in whichαcan be any real number between 0 and n.By some Pohozaev type identities in integral forms,we prove a Liouville type theorem—the non-existence of positive solutions for(0.1).  相似文献

We suggest a new approach to studying the isochronism of the system
${{dx} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{dx} {dt}}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} {dt}} = - y + p_n (x,y),{{dy} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{dy} {dt}}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} {dt}} = x + q_n (x,y),$
where p n and q n are homogeneous polynomials of degree n. This approach is based on the normal form
${{dX} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{dX} {dt}}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} {dt}} = - Y + XS(X,Y),{{dY} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{dY} {dt}}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} {dt}} = X + YS(X,Y)$
and its analog in polar coordinates. We prove a theorem on sufficient conditions for the strong isochronism of a center and a focus for the reduced system and obtain examples of centers with strong isochronism of degrees n = 4, 5. The present paper is the first to give examples of foci with strong isochronism for the system in question.

The uncertain system
$x_{n + 1} = A_n x_n , n = 0,1,2, \ldots ,$
is considered, where the coefficients a ij (n) of the m×m matrix A n are functionals of any nature subject to the constraints
$\begin{array}{*{20}c} {\left| {a_{i,i} (n)} \right| \leqslant \alpha _ * < 1,} \\ {\left| {a_{i,j} (n)} \right| \leqslant \alpha _0 for j \geqslant i + 1,} \\ {\left| {a_{i,j} (n)} \right| \leqslant \delta for j < i.} \\ \end{array} $
Such systems include, in particular, switched-type systems, whose matrix A can take values in a given finite set.By using a special Lyapunov function, a bound δ ≤ δ(α0*) ensuring the global asymptotic stability of the system is found. In particular, the system is stable if the last inequality is replaced by a i,j (n) = 0 for j < i.It is shown that pulse-width modulated systems reduce to the uncertain systems under consideration; moreover, in the case of a pulse-width modulation of the first kind, the coefficients of the matrix A are functions of x(n), and in the case of a modulation of the second kind, they are functionals.  相似文献

We present simple proofs of a result of L.D. Pustylnikov extending to nonautonomous dynamics the Siegel theorem of linearization of analytic mappings. We show that if a sequence f n of analytic mappings of C d has a common fixed point f n (0) = 0, and the maps f n converge to a linear mapping A∞ so fast that
$$\sum\limits_n {{{\left\| {{f_m} - {A_\infty }} \right\|}_{L\infty \left( B \right)}} < \infty } $$
$${A_\infty } = diag\left( {{e^{2\pi i{\omega _1}}},...,{e^{2\pi i{\omega _d}}}} \right)\omega = \left( {{\omega _1},...,{\omega _q}} \right) \in {\mathbb{R}^d},$$
then f n is nonautonomously conjugate to the linearization. That is, there exists a sequence h n of analytic mappings fixing the origin satisfying
$${h_{n + 1}} \circ {f_n} = {A_\infty }{h_n}.$$
The key point of the result is that the functions hn are defined in a large domain and they are bounded. We show that
$${\sum\nolimits_n {\left\| {{h_n} - Id} \right\|} _{L\infty (B)}} < \infty .$$
We also provide results when f n converges to a nonlinearizable mapping f∞ or to a nonelliptic linear mapping. In the case that the mappings f n preserve a geometric structure (e. g., symplectic, volume, contact, Poisson, etc.), we show that the hn can be chosen so that they preserve the same geometric structure as the f n . We present five elementary proofs based on different methods and compare them. Notably, we consider the results in the light of scattering theory. We hope that including different methods can serve as an introduction to methods to study conjugacy equations.

The bipolar non-isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes-Poisson (BNSP) system is investigated in R3 in the present paper, and the optimal L 2 time decay rate for the global classical solution is established. It is shown that the total densities, total momenta and total temperatures of two carriers converge to the equilibrium states at the rate
$${\left( {1 + t} \right)^{ - \frac{3}{4} + \varepsilon }}$$
in L 2-norm for any small and fix ε > 0. But, both the difference of densities and the difference of temperatures of two carriers decay at the optimal rate
$${\left( {1 + t} \right)^{ - \frac{3}{4}}}$$
, and the difference of momenta decays at the optimal rate
$${\left( {1 + t} \right)^{ - \frac{1}{4}}}$$
. This phenomenon on the charge transport shows the essential difference between the non-isentropic unipolar NSP and the bipolar NSP system.

A Shilla graph is defined as a distance-regular graph of diameter 3 with second eigen-value θ1 equal to a3. For a Shilla graph, let us put a = a3 and b = k/a. It is proved in this paper that a Shilla graph with b2 = c2 and noninteger eigenvalues has the following intersection array:
$$\left\{ {\frac{{{b^2}\left( {b - 1} \right)}}{2},\frac{{\left( {b - 1} \right)\left( {{b^2} - b + 2} \right)}}{2},\frac{{b\left( {b - 1} \right)}}{4};1,\frac{{b\left( {b - 1} \right)}}{4},\frac{{b{{\left( {b - 1} \right)}^2}}}{2}} \right\}$$
If Γ is a Q-polynomial Shilla graph with b2 = c2 and b = 2r, then the graph Γ has intersection array
$$\left\{ {2tr\left( {2r + 1} \right),\left( {2r + 1} \right)\left( {2rt + t + 1} \right),r\left( {r + t} \right);1,r\left( {r + t} \right),t\left( {4{r^2} - 1} \right)} \right\}$$
and, for any vertex u in Γ, the subgraph Γ3(u) is an antipodal distance-regular graph with intersection array
$$\left\{ {t\left( {2r + 1} \right),\left( {2r - 1} \right)\left( {t + 1} \right),1;1,t + 1,t\left( {2r + 1} \right)} \right\}$$
The Shilla graphs with b2 = c2 and b = 4 are also classified in the paper.

Relations between the Euclidean (mean-square) and Chebyshev (uniform) norms of a surface spherical harmonic of order n and its gradient in the tangent bundle of the sphere \(\mathbb{S}^{k - 1} \), as well as relations between the same norms of a solid spherical harmonic (internal and external) of order n and its spatial gradient, are given. In all cases, the norm of the gradient differs from that of the harmonic by a factor of order n. As examples, relations between the norms of the internal and external solid spherical harmonics
$r\left\langle {gradU_n } \right\rangle = n\left\langle {U_n } \right\rangle , r\left\| {gradU_n } \right\| = \sqrt {n(2n + k - 2)} \left\| {U_n } \right\|$
and
$r\left\langle {gradV_n } \right\rangle = (n + k - 2)\left\langle {V_n } \right\rangle , r\left\| {gradV_n } \right\| = \sqrt {(n + k - 2)(2n + k - 2)} \left\| {V_n } \right\|,$
respectively, are considered; here, <·> and ∥·∥ denote the Chebyshev and Euclidean norms, respectively.

In this article, we study the existence of infinitelymany solutions for the boundary–value problem
$$ - {\Delta _\gamma }u + a\left( x \right)u = f\left( {x,u} \right)in\Omega ,u = 0on\partial \Omega $$
, where Ω is a bounded domain with smooth boundary in ? N (N ≥ 2) and Δγ is a subelliptic operator of the form
$${\Delta _\gamma }: = \sum\limits_{j = 1}^N {{\partial _{{x_j}}}\left( {\gamma _j^2{\partial _{{x_j}}}} \right)} ,{\partial _{{x_j}}}: = \frac{\partial }{{\partial {x_j}}},\gamma = \left( {{\gamma _1},{\gamma _2}, \cdots ,\gamma N} \right)$$
. Our main tools are the local linking and the symmetric mountain pass theorem in critical point theory.

In this paper, we consider a method for inverting the Laplace transform F(s) = \(\int\limits_0^\infty {e^{ - st} f(t)dt} \), which consists in representing the original function by the Laguerre series
$f(t) = \sum\limits_{k = 0}^\infty {a_k L_k (bt).} $
(1)
First, we perform a conformal mapping of the plane (s), which depends on parameter ξ. The value of the parameter is determined by the location of the singular points of the given representation. Under this mapping, series (1) takes the form
$f(t) = \frac{{b - \xi }}{b}\exp (\xi t)\sum\limits_{k = 0}^\infty {c_k L_k ((b - \xi )t).} $
It is demonstrated that such inverting scheme is equivalent to applying the Picone-Tricomi method with further acceleration of the rate of convergence of series (1) using the Euler-Knopp nonlinear procedure
$\sum\limits_{k = 0}^\infty {a_k z^k } = \sum\limits_{k = 0}^\infty {A_k (p)\frac{{z^k }}{{(1 - pz)^{k + 1} }},} A_k (p) = \sum\limits_{j = 0}^k {\left( \begin{gathered} k \hfill \\ j \hfill \\ \end{gathered} \right)( - p)^{k - j} a_j } .$
Under this approach, the original function is represented by the series
$f(t) = \exp \left( {\frac{{bpt}}{{p - 1}}} \right)\sum\limits_{k = 0}^\infty {\frac{{A_k (p)}}{{(1 - p)^{k + 1} }}L_k } \left( {\frac{{bpt}}{{1 - p}}} \right),$
where parameters ξ and p are related by the formula p = x/(ξ ? b). Unlike many other methods for summation of series, in the scheme suggested, there is no need to investigate the regularity conditions.

In this paper, we mainly consider the initial boundary problem for a quasilinear parabolic equation u_t-div(|?u|~(p-2)?u) =-|u|~(β-1) u + α|u|~(q-2 )u,where p 1, β 0, q≥1 and α 0. By using Gagliardo-Nirenberg type inequality, the energy method and comparison principle, the phenomena of blowup and extinction are classified completely in the different ranges of reaction exponents.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the random r-uniform r-partite hypergraph model H(n 1, n 2, ···, n r; n, p) which consists of all the r-uniform r-partite hypergraphs with vertex partition {V 1, V 2, ···, V r} where |V i| = n i = n i(n) (1 ≤ i ≤ r) are positive integer-valued functions on n with n 1 +n 2 +···+n r = n, and each r-subset containing exactly one element in V i (1 ≤ ir) is chosen to be a hyperedge of H pH (n 1, n 2, ···, n r; n, p) with probability p = p(n), all choices being independent. Let
$${\Delta _{{V_1}}} = {\Delta _{{V_1}}}\left( H \right)$$
and
$${\delta _{{V_1}}} = {\delta _{{V_1}}}\left( H \right)$$
be the maximum and minimum degree of vertices in V 1 of H, respectively;
$${X_{d,{V_1}}} = {X_{d,{V_1}}}\left( H \right),{Y_{d,{V_1}}} = {Y_{d,{V_1}}}\left( H \right)$$
,
$${Z_{d,{V_1}}} = {Z_{d,{V_1}}}\left( H \right)and{Z_{c,d,{V_1}}} = {Z_{c,d,{V_1}}}\left( H \right)$$
be the number of vertices in V 1 of H with degree d, at least d, at most d, and between c and d, respectively. In this paper we obtain that in the space H(n 1, n 2, ···, n r; n, p),
$${X_{d,{V_1}}},{Y_{d,{V_1}}},{Z_{d,{V_1}}}and{Z_{c,d,{V_1}}}$$
all have asymptotically Poisson distributions. We also answer the following two questions. What is the range of p that there exists a function D(n) such that in the space H(n 1, n 2, ···, n r; n, p),
$$\mathop {\lim }\limits_{n \to \infty } P\left( {{\Delta _{{V_1}}} = D\left( n \right)} \right) = 1$$
? What is the range of p such that a.e., H pH (n 1, n 2, ···, n r; n, p) has a unique vertex in V 1 with degree
$${\Delta _{{V_1}}}\left( {{H_p}} \right)$$
? Both answers are p = o (log n 1/N), where
$$N = \mathop \prod \limits_{i = 2}^r {n_i}$$
. The corresponding problems on
$${\delta _{{V_i}}}\left( {{H_p}} \right)$$
also are considered, and we obtained the answers are p ≤ (1 + o(1))(log n 1/N) and p = o (log n 1/N), respectively.

Let L be a Schrdinger operator of the form L =-? + V acting on L~2(R~n), n≥3, where the nonnegative potential V belongs to the reverse Hlder class B_q for some q≥n. Let BMO_L(R~n) denote the BMO space associated to the Schrdinger operator L on R~n. In this article, we show that for every f ∈ BMO_L(R~n) with compact support, then there exist g ∈ L~∞(R~n) and a finite Carleson measure μ such that f(x) = g(x) + S_(μ,P)(x) with ∥g∥∞ + |||μ|||c≤ C∥f∥BMO_L(R~n), where S_(μ,P)=∫(R_+~(n+1))Pt(x,y)dμ(y, t),and Pt(x, y) is the kernel of the Poisson semigroup {e-~(t(L)~(1/2))}t0 on L~2(R~n). Conversely, if μ is a Carleson measure, then S_(μ,P) belongs to the space BMO_L(R~n). This extends the result for the classical John-Nirenberg BMO space by Carleson(1976)(see also Garnett and Jones(1982), Uchiyama(1980) and Wilson(1988)) to the BMO setting associated to Schrdinger operators.  相似文献

Let \(b_{5}(n)\) denote the number of 5-regular partitions of n. We find the generating functions of \(b_{5}(An+B)\) for some special pairs of integers (AB). Moreover, we obtain infinite families of congruences for \(b_{5}(n)\) modulo powers of 5. For example, for any integers \(k\ge 1\) and \(n\ge 0\), we prove that
$$\begin{aligned} b_{5}\left( 5^{2k-1}n+\frac{5^{2k}-1}{6}\right) \equiv 0 \quad (\mathrm{mod}\, 5^{k}) \end{aligned}$$
and
$$\begin{aligned} b_{5}\left( 5^{2k}n+\frac{5^{2k}-1}{6}\right) \equiv 0 \quad (\mathrm{mod}\, 5^{k}). \end{aligned}$$

In this paper we establish the following estimate:
$$\omega \left( {\left\{ {x \in {\mathbb{R}^n}:\left| {\left[ {b,T} \right]f\left( x \right)} \right| > \lambda } \right\}} \right) \leqslant \frac{{{c_T}}}{{{\varepsilon ^2}}}\int_{{\mathbb{R}^n}} {\Phi \left( {{{\left\| b \right\|}_{BMO}}\frac{{\left| {f\left( x \right)} \right|}}{\lambda }} \right){M_{L{{\left( {\log L} \right)}^{1 + \varepsilon }}}}} \omega \left( x \right)dx$$
where ω ≥ 0, 0 < ε < 1 and Φ(t) = t(1 + log+(t)). This inequality relies upon the following sharp L p estimate:
$${\left\| {\left[ {b,T} \right]f} \right\|_{{L^p}\left( \omega \right)}} \leqslant {c_T}{\left( {p'} \right)^2}{p^2}{\left( {\frac{{p - 1}}{\delta }} \right)^{\frac{1}{{p'}}}}{\left\| b \right\|_{BMO}}{\left\| f \right\|_{{L^p}\left( {{M_{L{{\left( {{{\log }_L}} \right)}^{2p - 1 + {\delta ^\omega }}}}}} \right)}}$$
where 1 < p < ∞, ω ≥ 0 and 0 < δ < 1. As a consequence we recover the following estimate essentially contained in [18]:
$$\omega \left( {\left\{ {x \in {\mathbb{R}^n}:\left| {\left[ {b,T} \right]f\left( x \right)} \right| > \lambda } \right\}} \right) \leqslant {c_T}{\left[ \omega \right]_{{A_\infty }}}{\left( {1 + {{\log }^ + }{{\left[ \omega \right]}_{{A_\infty }}}} \right)^2}\int_{{\mathbb{R}^n}} {\Phi \left( {{{\left\| b \right\|}_{BMO}}\frac{{\left| {f\left( x \right)} \right|}}{\lambda }} \right)M} \omega \left( x \right)dx.$$
We also obtain the analogue estimates for symbol-multilinear commutators for a wider class of symbols.

We present a variation-of-constants formula for functional differential equations of the form
$$\dot y = \mathcal{L}\left( t \right)y_t + f\left( {y_t,t} \right),\;y_{t_0}= \varphi $$
, where \(\mathcal{L}\) is a bounded linear operator and φ is a regulated function. Unlike the result by G. Shanholt (1972), where the functions involved are continuous, the novelty here is that the application t \(t \mapsto f\left( {y_t,t} \right)\) is Kurzweil integrable with t in an interval of ?, for each regulated function y. This means that t \(t \mapsto f\left( {y_t,t} \right)\) may admit not only many discontinuities, but it can also be highly oscillating and yet, we are able to obtain a variation-of-constants formula. Our main goal is achieved via theory of generalized ordinary differential equations introduced by J.Kurzweil (1957). As a matter of fact, we establish a variation-of-constants formula for general linear generalized ordinary differential equations in Banach spaces where the functions involved are Kurzweil integrable. We start by establishing a relation between the solutions of the Cauchy problem for a linear generalized ODE of type
$$\frac{{dx}}{{d\tau }} = D\left[ {A\left( t \right)x} \right],x\left( {{t_0}} \right) = \tilde x$$
and the solutions of the perturbed Cauchy problem
$$\frac{{dx}}{{d\tau }} = D\left[ {A\left( t \right)x + F\left( {x,t} \right)} \right],x\left( {{t_0}} \right) = \tilde x$$
Then we prove that there exists a one-to-one correspondence between a certain class of linear generalized ODE and the Cauchy problem for a linear functional differential equations of the form
$$\dot y = \mathcal{L}\left( t \right)y_t,\;y_{t_0} = \varphi$$
, where \(\mathcal{L}\) is a bounded linear operator and φ is a regulated function. The main result comes as a consequence of such results. Finally, because of the extent of generalized ODEs, we are also able to describe the variation-of-constants formula for both impulsive FDEs and measure neutral FDEs.
