On needed reals
Given a binary relationR, we call a subsetA of the range ofR R-adequate if for everyx in the domain there is someyεA such that (x, yR. Following Blass [4], we call a realη ”needed” forR if in everyR-adequate set we find an element from whichη is Turing computable. We show that every real needed for inclusion on the Lebesgue null sets,Cof(\(\mathcal{N}\)), is hyperarithmetic. Replacing “R-adequate” by “R-adequate with minimal cardinality” we get the related notion of being “weakly needed”. We show that it is consistent that the two notions do not coincide for the reaping relation. (They coincide in many models.) We show that not all hyperarithmetic reals are needed for the reaping relation. This answers some questions asked by Blass at the Oberwolfach conference in December 1999 and in [4].  相似文献

Let P be a partially ordered set, R a commutative ring with identity and FI(P,R) the finitary incidence algebra of P over R. We prove that each R-linear local derivation of FI(P,R) is a derivation, which partially generalizes Theorem 3 of [21].  相似文献

For a Poisson algebra, the category of Poisson modules is equivalent to the module category of its Poisson enveloping algebra, where the Poisson enveloping algebra is an associative one. In this article, for a Poisson structure on a polynomial algebra S, we first construct a Poisson algebra R, then prove that the Poisson enveloping algebra of S is isomorphic to the specialization of the quantized universal enveloping algebra of R, and therefore, is a deformation quantization of R.  相似文献

The ADR algebra R A of an Artin algebra A is a right ultra strongly quasihereditary algebra (RUSQ algebra). In this paper we study the Δ-filtrations of modules over RUSQ algebras and determine the projective covers of a certain class of R A -modules. As an application, we give a counterexample to a claim by Auslander–Platzeck–Todorov, concerning projective resolutions over the ADR algebra.  相似文献

We consider the determination of ring radicals by classes of modules as first discussed by Andrunakievich and Ryabukhin, but in cases where the modules concerned are defined by additive properties. Such a radical is the upper radical defined by the class of subrings of a class of endomorphism rings of abelian groups and is therefore strict. Not every strict radical is of this type, and while the A-radicals are of this type, there are others, including some special radicals. These investigations bring radical theory into contact with (at least) two questions from other parts of algebra. Which rings are endomorphism rings? For a given ring R, which abelian groups are non-trivial R-modules?  相似文献

In this note, we show that a quasi-free Hilbert module R defined over the polydisk algebra with kernel function k(z,w) admits a unique minimal dilation (actually an isometric co-extension) to the Hardy module over the polydisk if and only if S ?1(z, w)k(z, w) is a positive kernel function, where S(z,w) is the Szegö kernel for the polydisk. Moreover, we establish the equivalence of such a factorization of the kernel function and a positivity condition, defined using the hereditary functional calculus, which was introduced earlier by Athavale [8] and Ambrozie, Englis and Müller [2]. An explicit realization of the dilation space is given along with the isometric embedding of the module R in it. The proof works for a wider class of Hilbert modules in which the Hardy module is replaced by more general quasi-free Hilbert modules such as the classical spaces on the polydisk or the unit ball in ? m . Some consequences of this more general result are then explored in the case of several natural function algebras.  相似文献

It is shown that the pre-dual of a σ-finite von Neumann algebra has property (k) in the sense of Figiel, Johnson and Pelczyński [12]. This resolves in the affirmative an open question raised in [12]. It is shown further that a weakly sequentially complete symmetric space E of τ-measurable operators affiliated with a semifinite σ-finite von Neumann algebra has property (k).  相似文献

Let R be an associative ring with identity. An R-module M is called an NCS module if C (M)∩S(M) = {0}, where C (M) and S(M) denote the set of all closed submodules and the set of all small submodules of M, respectively. It is clear that the NCS condition is a generalization of the well-known CS condition. Properties of the NCS conditions of modules and rings are explored in this article. In the end, it is proved that a ring R is right Σ-CS if and only if R is right perfect and right countably Σ-NCS. Recall that a ring R is called right Σ-CS if every direct sum of copies of RR is a CS module. And a ring R is called right countably Σ-NCS if every direct sum of countable copies of RR is an NCS module.  相似文献

Motivated by τ-tilting theory developed by T. Adachi, O. Iyama, I. Reiten, for a finite-dimensional algebra Λ with action by a finite group G; we introduce the notion of G-stable support τ-tilting modules. Then we establish bijections among G-stable support τ-tilting modules over Λ; G-stable two-term silting complexes in the homotopy category of bounded complexes of finitely generated projective Λ-modules, and G-stable functorially finite torsion classes in the category of finitely generated left Λ-modules. In the case when Λ is the endomorphism of a G-stable cluster-tilting object T over a Hom-finite 2-Calabi-Yau triangulated category C with a G-action, these are also in bijection with G-stable cluster-tilting objects in C. Moreover, we investigate the relationship between stable support τ-tilitng modules over Λ and the skew group algebra ΛG  相似文献

Let M be a left R-module, \({\mathcal{A}}\)be a family of some submodules of M and \({\mathcal{B}}\)be a family of some left R-modules. In this article, we introduce and characterize \({\mathcal{A}}\)-coherent, \({P\mathcal{A}}\), \({F\mathcal{A}}\), M-\({\mathcal{A}}\)-injective (flat) and strongly \({\mathcal{B}}\)-injective (flat) modules, which are generalizations of coherent, PS, FS, M-injective (flat) and strongly M-injective modules, respectively. We extend some known results to this general structure.  相似文献

Let R be an associative ring with identity and F a class of R-modules. In this article: we first give a detailed treatment of Cartan-Eilenberg F complexes and extend the basic properties of the class F to the class CE(F). Secondly, we study and give some equivalent characterizations of Cartan-Eilenberg projective, injective and flat complexes which are similar to projective, injective and flat modules, respectively. As applications, we characterize some classical rings in terms of these complexes, including coherent, Noetherian, von Neumann regular rings, QF rings, semisimple rings, hereditary rings and perfect rings.  相似文献

Let R be a commutative ring with identity. Let Γ(R) denote the maximal graph corresponding to the non-unit elements of R, i.e., Γ(R) is a graph with vertices the non-unit elements of R, where two distinct vertices a and b are adjacent if and only if there is a maximal ideal of R containing both. In this paper, we have shown that, for any finite ring R which is not a field, Γ(R) is a Euler graph if and only if R has odd cardinality. Moreover, for any finite ring R ? R 1×R 2× · · · ×R n, where the R i is a local ring of cardinality p i αi for all i, and the p i’s are distinct primes, it is shown that Aut(Γ(R)) is isomorphic to a finite direct product of symmetric groups. We have also proved that clique(G(R)’) = χ(G(R)’) for any semi-local ring R, where G(R)’ denote the comaximal graph associated to R.  相似文献

Let M be a von Neumann algebra equipped with a normal finite faithful normalized trace τ, and let A be a tracial subalgebra of M. Let E be a symmetric quasi-Banach space on [0, 1]. We show that A has an LE(M)-factorization if and only if A is a subdiagonal algebra.  相似文献

For a topological property P, we say that a space X is star Pif for every open cover Uof the space X there exists Y ? X such that St(Y,U) = X and Y has P. We consider star countable and star Lindelöf spaces establishing, among other things, that there exists first countable pseudocompact spaces which are not star Lindelöf. We also describe some classes of spaces in which star countability is equivalent to countable extent and show that a star countable space with a dense σ-compact subspace can have arbitrary extent. It is proved that for any ω 1-monolithic compact space X, if C p (X)is star countable then it is Lindelöf.  相似文献

Let R be a commutative ring. In this paper, we introduce and study the compressed annihilator graph of R. The compressed annihilator graph of R is the graph AGE(R), whose vertices are equivalence classes of zero-divisors of R and two distinct vertices [x] and [y] are adjacent if and only if ann(x)∪ann(y) ? ann(xy). For a reduced ring R, we show that compressed annihilator graph of R is identical to the compressed zero-divisor graph of R if and only if 0 is a 2-absorbing ideal of R. As a consequence, we show that an Artinian ring R is either local or reduced whenever 0 is a 2-absorbing ideal of R.  相似文献

Let R be a right coherent ring and D~b(R-Mod) the bounded derived category of left R-modules. Denote by D~b(R-Mod)_([G F,C]) the subcategory of D~b(R-Mod) consisting of all complexes with both finite Gorenstein flat dimension and cotorsion dimension and K~b(F ∩ C) the bounded homotopy category of flat cotorsion left R-modules. We prove that the quotient triangulated category D~b(R-Mod)_([G F,C])/K~b(F ∩ C) is triangle-equivalent to the stable category GF ∩ C of the Frobenius category of all Gorenstein flat and cotorsion left R-modules.  相似文献
