Temperature-dependent micro-Raman study of C-H in-plane bending mode of aromatic rings, C-N and C=N stretching of linking group (-C(H)=N) and C=C stretching of rings of pure and silver nanoparticles dispersed (0.5% and 1% by weight) Schiff’s base liquid crystal (LC) compound, N-(4-n-heptyloxybenzylidene)-4’-n-butylaniline (7O.4) in 500–2250 cm?1 region has been done. The change in Raman spectral parameters (peak position and linewidth) at crystal–smecticG (K–smG) and smecticG–smecticC (smG–smC) gives the evidence of charge shift at phase transition which is associated with changes in orientation and vibrational freedom of the molecules. The peak position of the Raman bands shows blue shift for 0.5 wt% dispersed sample, whereas it shows red shift for 1 wt% dispersed sample. The blue and red shifts of the Raman bands indicate an increase and decrease in the charge density, respectively. The optimised structure and theoretical room temperature Raman spectra of 7O.4 were obtained using density functional theory. The vibrational assignment using potential energy distribution is reported using vibrational energy distribution analysis (VEDA).  相似文献

The crystal structure of the compound 4-cyanobiphenyl-4′-hexylbiphenyl carboxylate (6CBB), which exhibits both monolayer smectic A and nematic phases, has been determined by direct methods using single crystal X-ray diffraction data. The structure is triclinic with the space group P-1 and Z=2. The unit cell parameters are a=9.3511(7)?Å, b=11.2456(7)?Å, c=13.1417(6)?Å, α=85.872(4)°, β=76.258(5)° and γ=70.697(5)°. The molecule is found to be slightly bow-shaped although the alkyl chain is in all-trans conformation. The phenyl rings in 6CBB are non-coplanar. The packing of the molecules in the crystalline state is found to be a precursor to the smectic A phase structure. Comparison of crystal structures and packing of the four-ring 6CBB with those of the two-ring nCB or nOCB compounds has been made to explain the observed phase behaviour.  相似文献

A novel compound, KBi(C6H4O7) · 3.5H2O (I), has been synthesized in the Bi(NO3)2-K3(HCit) system (HCit3? is an anion of citric acid C6H8O7) at a component ratio (n) of 8 in a water-glycerol mixture, and its crystal structure has been determined. The crystals are unstable in air. The crystals are triclinic: a = 7.462 Å, b = 10.064 Å, c = 17.582 Å, α = 100.27°, β = 99.31°, γ = 105.48°, V = 1221.2 Å3, Z = 2, space group $P\bar 1$ . In the structure of I, asymmetric binuclear fragments [Bi2(Cit4?)2(H2O)2]2? are linked through inversion centers into polymeric chain anions. Ions K+ and crystal water molecules are arranged in channels between the chains. The Bi(1)...Bi(2) distances in the binuclear fragment are 4.62 Å, and the Bi(1)...Bi(1) and Bi(2)...Bi(2) distances between bismuth atoms in the chain are 5.83 and 5.95 Å, respectively. The chains are linked through bridging oxygen atoms of the ligands Cit to form layers. In the centrosymmetric four-membered chelate ring Bi2O2 formed through Bi-O(Cit) bonds, the distances Bi(1)-Bi(1) are equal to 4.55 Å, and Bi(1)-O are 2.66 and 2.84 Å. The Bi-O bond lengths in I are in the range 2.12–3.16 Å. The Cit ligands act as hexadentate chelating/bridging ligands.  相似文献

The molecular structure and conformation of 1,1′-dimethyl-bicyclopropyl have been studied by the gas electron diffraction method, extended by normal coordinate and molecular mechenics calculations. The crystal and molecular structures of 1,1-divinyl-2,2-biimidazolyl (L) were determined by x-ray crystallographic analysis. It was established that the molecule of L has crystallographic symmetry 2 and a cisoid conformation with an angle of rotation of 128° between the imidazole rings. The length of the C2-C2 bond is increased to 1.485(11) Å compared with the length of the analogous bond in unsubstituted 2,2-biimidazolyl (1.423 Å). Localization of the N=C multiple bond is observed [1.297(9) Å]. The other N-C bonds of the ring are almost equalized (1.374 Å) and are close to the standard values for bonds of the C sp 2-N type in imidazoles. The angle between the plane of the heterocycle and the plane passing through the atoms of the vinyl group amounts to 7°.N. S. Summary The crystal structure of the hydrothermally synthesized compound Fe(SeO2OH) (SeO4) · H2O was determined by single crystal diffraction methods:a=8.355(2) Å,b=8.696(2) Å,c=9.255(2) Å, =93.72(1)°,V=670.95 Å3;Z=4, space group P21/c,R=0.029,R w=0.027 for 2430 independent reflections (sin /0.76 Å–1). Isolated FeO5(H2O)-octahedra share five corners with [SeO2OH] and [SeO4] groups to form sheets parallel to (100). These sheets are interconnected via hydrogen bonds only.

Isolierte FeO5(H2O)-Oktaeder teilen fünf Ecken mit [SeO2OH]- und [SeO4]-Gruppen, wobei sie Schichten parallel (100) bilden. Diese Schichten sind nur über Wasserstoffbrücken miteinander verbunden.

N-(4-acetylphenyl)-N′-(2-nitrobenzoyl)-thiourea has been synthesized in high yield under PEG-400 as the phase-transfer catalyst and its the compound structure was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The compound is also a considerable plant-growth regulator. In addition, the compound L exhibited selective recognition for Hg2+ over other metals ions such as Ag+, Ca2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cd2+, Pb2+, Zn2+, Cr3+, and Mg2+ in DMSO solutions.  相似文献

The title compound [Ni(C20H15N2OS)2] is prepared by the reaction of metal acetate with the corresponding acylthiourea derivative. The complex is characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H and 13C NMR, and its structure is determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The Ni(II) ion is coordinated by the S and O atoms of two N-benzoyl-N??,N??-diphenylthiourea ligands in a slightly distorted square-planar coordination geometry. The two O and two S atoms are mutually cis to each other. The substance crystallizes triclinic (P-1 space group) with cell dimensions a = 10.7262(9) ?, b = 12.938(3) ?, c = 14.2085(12) ?, ?? = 74.650(4)°, ?? = 78.398(4)°, ?? = 68.200(5)°, and two formula units in the unit cell. The structure is very close to the related N-(2-furoyl) Ni complex reported previously.  相似文献

Novel arylsulfonylureas were prepared by the reaction of chloroacetyl isocyanate with arylsulfamides. The structures of the compounds synthesized were determined by IR and1H NMR spectra. An X-ray structural analysis ofN-chloroacetyl-N-(4-methylphenylsulfonyl)urea was carried out. It was found that the molecule has theanti-syn conformation stabilized by an intramolecular H-bond. In the crystal, the molecules are combined into centrosymmetrical dimers by intermolecular hydrogen bonds. The synthesis and crystal structure of a novel hydrated magnesium phosphate is described. The crystal structure was solved from powder X-ray diffraction data. Mg3(PO4)2·4H2O crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Cmc21 (No. 36) with a=8.41087(9) Å, b=17.3850(2) Å, c=12.8034(1) Å, V=1872.15(4) Å3 and Z=8. The structure consists of sheets stacked along [010], which are linked by edge sharing octahedral Mg2O6(H2O)4 dimers. Within the sheets there are infinite edge-sharing chains of Mg octahedra along [100]. The compound has been further characterized by 31P MAS NMR spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. The crystal structure of two dehydrated variants existing around 200 (Mg3(PO4)2·2.5H2O) and 275 °C (Mg3(PO4)2·2H2O) remain unknown.  相似文献

An X-ray structural examination is carried out for 2,3-dimethyl-5-(2′-methylprop-1′-enyl)-6-(morpholyl-4′-carbonyl)-cyclohex-3-en-1-carboxlic acid that is one of the products of the Diels-Alder reaction of an acyclic monoterpene alloocimene with maleic and citraconic anhydrides followed by the ring opening of adducts with morpholine to corresponding amides. The crystals are triclinic; a = 10.619(1) ?, b = 12.784(2) ?, c = 14.328(2) ?; α = 65.752(1)°, β = 87.932(1)°, γ = 78.120(1)°; V = 1733.0(3) ?3, P-1 space group, Z = 4 (two independent molecules). In both molecules, the anti-conformation of the carboxylic group is observed, the conformation being stabilized by an intramolecular hydrogen bond involving the carboxylic hydrogen atom and ketonic oxygen.  相似文献

We synthesized and conducted an x-ray diffraction investigation of an effective plant growth regulator of the sulfonylurea class: N(o-chlorophenylsulfonyl)-N-(4-dimethylamino-6-isopropylideneaminoxy-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)urea. The N-(4-nitrophenyl)-β-alanine in crystalline form directly by the addition of 4-nitroaniline to the acrylic acid in aqueous solution has been obtained. The title β-alanine derivative crystallizes in the P2(1)/c space group of monoclinic system with four molecules per unit cell. The X-ray geometry of β-alanine derivative molecule has been compared with those obtained by molecular orbital calculations corresponding to the gas phase. In the crystal the molecules related by an inversion center interact via symmetrically equivalent O-H···O hydrogen bonds with O···O distance of 2.656(2) ? forming a dimeric structure. The dimers of β-alanine derivative weakly interact via N-H···O hydrogen bonds between the H atom of β-amine groups and one of O atom of nitro groups. The room temperature powder vibrational (infrared and Raman) measurements are in accordance with the X-ray analysis. In aqueous solution of 4-nitroaniline and acrylic acid, the double CC bond of vinyl group of acrylic acid breaks as result of 4-nitroaniline addition.  相似文献
