Radical C-glycosidation of racemic 5-exo-benzeneselenyl-6-endo-chloro-3-methylidene-7-oxabicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2-one ((±)-2) with α-acetobromofucose (3) provided a mixture of α-C-fucosides that were reduced with NaBH4 to give two diastereomeric alcohols that were separated readily. One of them ((?)-6) was converted into (?)-methyl 2-acetamido-4-O-acetyl-2,3-dideoxy-3-C-(3′,4′,5′-tri-O-acetyl-2′,6′-anhydro-1′,7′-dideoxy-α-L-glycero-D-galacto-heptitol-1′-C-yl)-α -D-galactopyranuronate ((?)-11) and then into (?)-methyl 2-acetamido-2,3-dideoxy-3-C-(2′,6′-anhydro-1′,7′-dideoxy-α-L-glycero-D-galacto-heptitol-1′-C-yl)-β -D-galactopyranoside ((?)-1), a new α-C(1→3)-L-fucopyranoside of N-acetylgalactosamine. Its 1H NMR data shows that this C-disaccharide (α-L-Fucp-(1→3)CH2-β-D-GalNAc-OMe) adopts a major conformation in solution similar to that expected for the corresponding O-linked disaccharide, i.e., with antiperiplanar σ(C-3′,C-2′) and σ(C-1′,C-3) bonds.  相似文献

Abstract

The phase diagram of a mixture of the discogens triphenylene hexa-n-heptanoate (HET7) and triphenylene hexa-(2-methyl-4-n-decyloxy)benzoate is presented. This mixture provides a more accessible nematic temperature range than was previously possible. The refractive indices of one mixture composition are measured and a rather small, negative birefringence found. The two-parameter Haller extrapolation method is used to calculate the molecular polarizability ratio Δα/α. This has a rather small magnitude compared with calamitic mesogens, although the individual polarizabilities are much larger, due to the greater molecular mass of these compounds. The calculated value of Δα/α is used to give the uniaxial orientational order parameter S, whose value is comparable to those of calamitic examples. Tabulated bond polarizability data are used to predict a value for Δα/α, which is found to be similar to the experimental result.  相似文献

Abstract

The paper reports results of the X-ray diffraction structural studies of liquid bicyclohexyl, C6H11—C6H11 at room temperature, using CuK α radiation. Angular distribution of X-ray scattered intensity was measured, and the electron-density radial-distribution function was calculated. Computer techniques were used to minimize the effects of experimental errors, uncertainties in the scattering factors, and termination errors. Good agreement between the theoretical and experimental functions was obtained on assuming the statistically most probable model of this molecule. The structural data obtainable by X-ray analysis for liquid bicyclohexyl were discussed. The mean distances between the neighbouring molecules and the radii of coordination spheres were found. The maxima in the differential radial distribution function were at: r 1 = 4.68, r 2 = 5.57, r 3 = 6.62, r 4 = 8.05 Å. X-ray structural analysis was applied to determine the packing coefficient of bicyclohexyl molecules. A simple model of short-range arrangement of the molecules in liquid bicyclohexyl was proposed.  相似文献

We report the studies on the mechanism of oxidation of 3′,4′-dihydroxy-l-phenylalanine (l-DOPA) to neurotoxic dopachrome catalyzed by enzyme horseradish peroxidase (EC 1.11.1.7) using the kinetic (KIE), and solvent (SIE), isotope effect methods. For kinetic studies two specifically deuterated isotopomers: [2′,5′,6′-2H3]-l -DOPA was synthesized by the acid catalyzed isotopic exchange between native l-DOPA and heavy water, and [5′-2H]-l-DOPA was synthesized in two step reaction. The first step involved acid catalyzed isotopic exchange between l-tyrosine and deuterated water and resulting product [3′,5′-2H2]-l-tyrosine was hydroxylated by enzyme tyrosinase (EC 1.14.18.1). The values of deuterium KIEs and SIE’s in the enzymatic oxidation of l-DOPA and its isotopomers are determined using non-competitive spectrophotometric method. The measured values were: KIE on V max (1.1 and 2.2) and KIE on V max/K M (1.7 and 3.2) for [2′,5′,6′-2H3]-l-DOPA and [5′-2H]-l-DOPA, respectively, while the corresponding values of SIE were: SIE on V max (2.1, 2.4, and 2.1) and SIE on V max/K M (1.3. 1.6, and 1.1) for l-DOPA, [2′,5′,6′-2H3]-l-DOPA, and [5′-2H]-l-DOPA, respectively. The size of KIE and SIE, typical for secondary isotope effects indicate that both the solvent and presence of deuterium at the 2′-, 5′, and 6′-positions of l-DOPA has the little impact on the enzymatic oxidation of this compound.  相似文献

A complex carbide with formula Ta2S2C prepared by sintering can be transformed by mechanical grinding into a modification having a very simple crystal structure. The lattice parameters of this compound (1s-Ta2S2C) were found to be:a=3.265,c=8.537 andc/a=2.615. The atomic positions are (space group \(P\bar 3ml\) ): $$\begin{gathered} 2 Ta in 2 d) (z = 0.141) \hfill \\ 2 S in 2 d) (z = 0.65) \hfill \\ 1 C in 1 a \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$ A proposal for the atomic arrangement is presented for the high temperature phase 3s-Ta2S2C with the parameters:a H=3.276 c H=25.62 Å andc/a=7.82, space group \(R\bar 3m\) . The crystal structure of Ti4S5 has been determined from single crystal patterns. The lattice parameters are:a=3.439,c=28.93 Å andc/a=8.413. The atomic positions (space group P 63/mmc) are: 2 Ti in 2 a), 2.6 Ti in 4 e) (z=0.1055); 3.5 Ti in 4 f) (z=0.197); 2 S in b); 2 4 S in 4 f) (z=0.052) and 4 S in 4 f) (z=0.649).  相似文献

The hydration of calcium sulfoaluminate $ ( {\text{C}}_{4} {\text{A}}_{3} \overline{\text{S}} ) $ in the presence of heavy metal is essential not only for applying the cement in solidification/stabilization (s/s) process, but also for preparing modern green cements from wastes containing heavy metals. In this study, the influence of gypsum, types, and concentrations of heavy metal nitrates (Pb(NO3)2, Cr(NO3)3·9H2O, Cu(NO3)2·3H2O, Zn(NO3)2·6H2O) on the hydration of $ {\text{C}}_{4} {\text{A}}_{3} \overline{\text{S}} $ during the first 24 h were investigated by isothermal conduction calorimetry, X-ray diffraction, and thermogravimetric analysis. The addition of 20 % of gypsum to $ {\text{C}}_{4} {\text{A}}_{3} \overline{\text{S}} $ leads to a rapid formation of ettringite against monosulfate and acceleration of hydration. The effects of heavy metals on the hydration of $ {\text{C}}_{4} {\text{A}}_{3} \overline{\text{S}} $ depend on the types of heavy metals and the addition of gypsum. Without any gypsum addition, heavy metal nitrates such as Cr, Cu, and Zn promote the hydration of $ {\text{C}}_{4} {\text{A}}_{3} \overline{\text{S}} $ , whereas Pb presents a strong retardation effect at the early age of $ {\text{C}}_{4} {\text{A}}_{3} \overline{\text{S}} $ hydration. When 20 % of gypsum is added to $ {\text{C}}_{4} {\text{A}}_{3} \overline{\text{S}} $ , heavy metals tend to accelerate the hydration of the blended pastes except Zn. However, heavy metal containing phases were not detected in this work, which needs to be supplemented by further investigations.  相似文献

Two new coordination polymers, [ZnL] n (1) and {[Zn(phen)(L)(H2O)]?·?3H2O} n (2) (H2L?=?1,2-bis[3-(1,2,4-triazolyl)-4-amino-5-carboxylmethylthio]ethane, phen?=?1,10-phenanthroline), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, and X-ray diffraction. Polymer 1 is a 1-D infinite chain (space group P 1) and further forms a 3-D supramolecular structure by S?···?S interactions and hydrogen bonds. Polymer 2 displays a mononuclear structure (space group P 1) and extends into a 3-D supramolecular structure through hydrogen bonds. In addition, spectra and thermal stability of 1 and 2 are also discussed. Strong luminescence characteristics of both polymers are found, suggesting their potential applications as luminescent materials.  相似文献

The polymerization of isobutylene has been investigated by the use of the steady, slow, continuous monomer addition technique in the presence of a variety of initiating systems, i.e., “H2O”/TiCl4, “H2O”/AlCl3, C6H5C(CH3)2Cl/TiCl4, p-ClCH2 C6(CH3)4* CH2Cl/AlCl3 at -50°C. Quasiliving polymerizations have been obtained with the “H2O” and C6H5(CH3)2Cl/TiC14 systems in 60/40 v/v n-hexane/methylene chloride solvent mixtures with very slow monomer input. After a brief “flash” polymerization, the M n of PIB increased linearly with the cumulative amount of monomer added (consumed); however, the number of polymer molecules formed also increased, indicating the presence of chain transfer to monomer. With the “H2O”/TiCl4 initiating system, M n,max was 56,000 and M w /M n < 2.0. By the use of the C6H5C(CH3)2CL/TiCl4 initiating system, quasiliving polymerization has been achieved and chain transfer could virtually be eliminated.  相似文献

From the ethanol extract of Selaginella moellendorffii Hieron., a new flavone O-glycoside and three known flavone C-glycosides have been isolated and identified as 5-carboxymethyl-4′-hydroxyflavone-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside 1, 6,8-di-C-β-D-glueopyranosylapigenin 2, 6-C-[3-D-glucopyranosyl-8-C-β-D-xylopyranosyl apigenin 3, 6-C-B-D-xylopyranosyl-8-C-β-glucopyranosylapigenin 4, respectively. The heat capacity (C p, m) of ferrocenemethanol (FM) C5H5FeC5H4CH2OH have been measured by the low-temperature adiabatic calorimetry method in the range 6–371 K. The triple point temperature, the enthalpy of fusion, and the purity of the substance under consideration have been determined. The ideal gas thermodynamic functions of FM—absolute entropy S m(g) 0 and change in the enthalpy Δ 0 T H m at 298.15 K—have been derived from the heat capacity data and the known values of the saturation vapor pressure and enthalpy of sublimation. The ideal gas thermodynamic functions C p, m 0 and S m(g) 0 and the enthalpy of formation of FM have been calculated by the empirical difference method at T = 298.15 K. The experimental and calculated values of the thermodynamic functions are consistent within error limits, which proves their reliability.  相似文献

The crystal and molecular structure of bis(α,α′-dithio-bis(formamidinium)) bis(μ2-chloro)hexachlorodimercurate(II) C4H16Hg2Cl8N8S4 (I), where α,α′-dithio-bis(formamidine) is C2H6N4S2, was solved. Crystals are monoclinic, a = 8.6417(6) Å, b = 14.648(1) Å, c = 10.2111(8) Å, β = 104.949(1)°, V = 1248.8(2) Å3, space group P21/n, Z = 4. The crystal structure is built of HgCl 4 2? ions linked via inversion centers into [Hg2Cl8]4? pairs and C2H8N4S 2 2+ cations. [Hg2Cl8]4? anions and C2H8N4S 2 2+ cations form alternating layers linked by N-H…Cl hydrogen bonds into a framework structure.  相似文献

Abstract

Ultrasonic (70 W, 20 kHz) solution (2% THF) degradations of polystyrene (PS), poly(α-methylstyrene) (PαMeS), poly(p-isopropyl α-methylstyrene) (PpiPrαMeS), poly(p-chlorostyrene) (PpCIS), poly(p-bromostyrene) (PpBrS), and poly(p-methoxystyrene) (PpOMeS) have been carried out in tetrahydrofuran at 27° C. The average number of chain scissions S (where S = [(M n)0/(M n)t] - 1), computed from the overall values of [(M n)0 and (M n)t, were found to be different from those of S' (where S' = α([(M n)0/(M n)t] - 1)) based on the component (only that part of the polymer which is involved in degradation) data of the weight fraction (α), (M n)0, and (M n)t), S' for polystyrene and substituted polystyrene follows the order PS gt; PpCIS gt; PpiPrαMeS gt; PpBrS gt; PpOMeS gt; PαMeS. In the case of PS where degradations were also carried out at -20°C, lowering of the temperature increased the weight fraction of polymer degraded as well as S. Based on the viscosity and GPC data, it is concluded that the ultrasonic solution degradation of PS does not lead to branched polymers.  相似文献

New liquid crystalline (LC) compounds containing the [2 Weissflog, W., Nádasi, H., Dunemann, U., Pelzl, G., Diele, S., Eremin, A. and Kresse, H. 2001. J. Mater. Chem., 11: 27482758. [Crossref], [Web of Science ®] [Google Scholar]]benzothiophene chromophore unit have been synthesised and their mesomorphic properties studied. Mesomorphic and fluorescent properties have been modified by various chemical moieties. Among others, terminal fluoroalkyl and/or chiral chains were introduced to stabilise mesophases and support the formation of polar phases. In spite of the bent shape due to the central 1,3-diphenylbenzo[c]thiophene unit, all compounds exhibit phases typical for the rod-like LC: nematic, smectic A and smectic C or their chiral analogues using the chiral (S)-C2H5CH(CH3)(CH2)6CO or (S)-C10H21OCH(CH3)CO chain. The orientational order in the nematic phase was studied by polarised infrared measurements. The fluorescent properties of the studied compounds have been measured and their parameters established.  相似文献

The conformational space of D and L, deoxy and nondeoxy, 5‐thio‐pyranoses with biological properties as enzymatic inhibitors was explored using MM and B3LYP/6–31+G* methods in gas phase and solution. The preferred ring conformation for α and β anomers of 5‐thio‐L‐fucopyranose was the 1C4 form (about 99%), and for 5‐thio‐D‐glucopyranose and 5‐thio‐D‐mannopyranose, the 4C1 one. The experimental conformational order (4C1>1C4>2SS) for L‐ido derivatives was reproduced only considering the solvent, though for 3‐O‐methyl‐5‐thio‐α‐L‐idopyranose, the inclusion of methyl in C3 changed the 2SS form to the B1,4 one.  相似文献

Abstract

A simple statistical model of interacting non-rigid molecules, based on a perturbation expansion of the pair correlation function and the additivity of segmental interactions, is applied to the study of orientational order as measured by N.M.R. in the nematic and SA phases of 4-n-alkyl-4′-cyanobiphenyls (N-CB, N = 5 to 8), the nematic and SC phases of 4-n-alkyloxybenzoic acids (N-OBA, N = 7, 8) and the D h0 columnar discotic phase of hexa-alkyloxytriphenylenes (N-THE, N = 5 to 8). The order parameters of each homologous series are correctly described in terms of two isotropic and two anisotropic segmental coupling constants. The model predicts certain relations among coupling constants pertaining to different homogous series. These predictions are supported by the results obtained for the three types of compounds studied.  相似文献

The transitional behaviour of binary mixtures, each containing a non-mesomorphic quasi-spherical solute at a low mole fraction in a nematogenic solvent, has been investigated by E.S.R. spectroscopy using 4-oxo-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl-1-oxy (tempone) as a spin probe. This approach makes use of the smaller coupling constant obtained for the spin probe in the orientationally ordered nematic phase relative to that obtained in the isotropic phase. The solutes included Et4C (tetraethylmethane) and R 4Sn (R = Cb2bH5, n-C3 H 7 and nCb4H9). The solvents were 4-n-pentyl-4′-cyanobiphenyl (5CB) 4-n-hexyl-4′-cyanobiphenyl (6CB) and 4-n-heptyl-4′-cyanobiphenyl (7CB). This fast approach compares favourably with other studies. In addition it provides the tempone spectral parameter, f, which is a relative measure of the fraction of the nematic phase at different temperatures within the two phase region.  相似文献

Abstract

A two-stage process was developed for the living polymerization of isobutylene (IB) employing di-tert-alcohol initiators in conjunction with BCl3 coinitiator in the first or initiation stage, followed by TiCl4 coinitiator in the second or propagation stage; the process was shown to yield high molecular weight (up to M n 20,000), narrow molecular weight distribution (MWD) M w/M n = 1.1–1.2) di-tert-chlorine telechelic polyisobutylenes (tCl-PIB-Clt). The initiation stage involves the homogeneous solution living polymerization of IB induced by the di-tert-alcohol/BCl3 combination in the presence of an electron donor such as N,N-dimethylacetamide in CH3Cl solvent at ?80°C and proceeds up to M n < 5000; this is followed by the propagation stage in which TiCl4 and the bulk of IB plus a sufficient amount of n-C6H14 are added to the charge to bring the solvent composition to CH3Cl/n-C6H14 60/40 v/v and the living polymerization is continued until high M n product is obtained. This two-stage process was developed because 1) it employs very inexpensive chemicals; 2) di-tert-alcohol/BCl3 combinations initiate living IB polymerization in CH3Cl but the product after reaching M n ≤ 5000 precipitates out of the CH3Cl solution, and di-tert-alcohol/BCl4 combinations do not initiate IB polymerization; and 3) di-tert-alcohol/BCl3 systems do not initiate (or only very slowly) the living polymerization of IB in CH3Cl/n-C6H14 mixtures, whereas similar TiCl4-based systems do. The polymerization remains living during both stages although the propagating species and solvent polarity are profoundly altered. The livingness of the system has been analyzed by kinetic experiments and the structure of the tCl-PIB-Clt product by routine spectroscopic means.  相似文献

The hydrogen-bonded (N2H4) n clusters and the van der Waals (OCS) n clusters are size selected in a scattering experiment with a He beam up to the cluster sizen=6. By measuring the angular distributions of the scattered clusters the complete fragmentation pattern of electron impact ionization is obtained. For Hydrazine the two main fragment masses are the protonated species (N2H4) n?1H+ and with somewhat weaker intensities also the nominal ion mass (N2H4) n + . The largest intensity is observed for the monomer ion N2H 4 + to which clusters up ton=5 fragment. For carbonylsulfide, completely different results are obtained. Aside from the fragments of the OCS monomer and the van der Waals cluster fragments (OCS) 2 + and (OCS) 3 + signals at mass S 2 + , S 3 + and S2OCS+ are detected. This indicates a fast chemical reaction in the cluster according to: S + OCS → CO + S2 which occurs for clusters of sizen ≥ 2. Peaks at S 3 + and S2OCS+ are seen for the first time forn ≥ 5 according to a further reaction of S2 in the cluster.  相似文献

Theoretical and experimental investigation of the formation of S 2 - from CS2 by electron impact has been carried out. Molecular orbital calculations show that some of the low lying states of CS 2 - have lower potential energy in the bent geometries suggesting a transformation in the geometric structure of the precursor molecular ion, leading to the formation of S 2 - . In contrast to the formation of S 2 - and S 2 - , the kinetic energy associated with S 2 - is small and disproportionate to the increase in electron energy, indicating the formation of S 2 - in vibrationally excited states due to the mechanism of its formation.  相似文献
