Model-independent analysis of Higgs spin and CP properties in the process \boldsymbol{e}^{+} \boldsymbol{e}^{-} \to\boldsymbol{t}\bar{\boldsymbol{t}} \boldsymbol{\Phi}

In this paper we investigate methods to study the $t\bar{t}$ Higgs coupling. The spin and CP properties of a Higgs boson are analysed in a model-independent way in its associated production with a $t\bar{t}$ pair in high-energy e ⁺ e ^? collisions. We study the prospects of establishing the CP quantum numbers of the Higgs boson in the CP-conserving case as well as those of determining the CP-mixing if CP is violated. We explore in this analysis the combined use of the total cross section and its energy dependence, the polarisation asymmetry of the top quark and the up-down asymmetry of the antitop with respect to the top–electron plane. We find that combining all three observables remarkably reduces the error on the determination of the CP properties of the Higgs Yukawa coupling. Furthermore, the top polarisation asymmetry and the ratio of cross sections at different collider energies are shown to be sensitive to the spin of the particle produced in association with the top-quark pair.

Study of semileptonic decay of ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0} \rightarrow \phi {l}^{+}{l}^{-}$ in QCD sum rule

In this work we study the semileptonic decay of ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi {l}^{+}{l}^{-}$ (l=e, μ, τ) with the QCD sum rule method. We calculate the ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi $ translation form factors relevant to this semileptonic decay, then the branching ratios of ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi {l}^{+}{l}^{-}$ (l=e, μ, τ) decays are calculated with the form factors obtained here. Our result for the branching ratio of ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi {\mu }^{+}{\mu }^{-}$ agree very well with the recent experimental data. For the unmeasured decay modes such as ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi {e}^{+}{e}^{-}$ and ${\bar{B}}_{s}^{0}\to \phi {\tau }^{+}{\tau }^{-}$, we give theoretical predictions.

Contribution of vector resonances to the \bar{B}_{d}^{0}\to\bar {K}^{*0}\mu^{+}\mu^{-} decay

The fully differential angular distribution for the rare flavor-changing neutral current decay $\bar{B}_{d}^{0} \to\bar{K}^{*0} (\to K^{-} \pi^{+}) \mu^{+}\mu^{-} $ is studied. The emphasis is placed on accurate treatment of the contribution from the processes $\bar{B}_{d}^{0} \to\bar{K}^{*0} (\to K^{-} \pi^{+}) V $ with intermediate vector resonances V=??(770),??(782),?(1020),J/??,??(2S),?? decaying into the ?? ⁺ ?? ^? pair. The dilepton invariant-mass dependence of the branching ratio, longitudinal polarization fraction f _L of the $\bar{K}^{*0}$ meson, and forward?Cbackward asymmetry A _FB is calculated and compared with data from Belle, CDF and LHCb. It is shown that inclusion of the resonance contribution may considerably modify the branching ratio, calculated in the SM without resonances, even in the invariant-mass region far from the so-called charmonia cuts applied in the experimental analyses. This conclusion crucially depends on values of the unknown phases of the B ⁰??K ^?0 J/?? and B ⁰??K ^?0 ??(2S) decay amplitudes with zero helicity.     

Global Well-Posedness of the Energy-Critical Defocusing NLS on $${\mathbb{R} \times \mathbb{T}^3}$$

Sextonions,Zorn matrices,and $$\mathbf {e}_{\mathbf{7} \frac{\mathbf{1}}{\mathbf{2}}}$$

By exploiting suitably constrained Zorn matrices, we present a new construction of the algebra of sextonions (over the algebraically closed field \(\mathbb {C}\)). This allows for an explicit construction, in terms of Jordan pairs, of the non-semisimple Lie algebra \(\mathbf {e}_{\mathbf{7} \frac{\mathbf{1}}{\mathbf{2}}}\), intermediate between \(\mathbf {e_7}\) and \(\mathbf {e_8}\), as well as of all Lie algebras occurring in the sextonionic row and column of the extended Freudenthal Magic Square.

Theoretical study of collision and collision-free radiative lifetimes of {{\text{S}}_2}\left( {{{\text{B}}^3}\Sigma_{\text{u}}^{-} \left( {{\upsilon^{\prime}} = 0 - 9} \right)} \right)

We calculate multireference configuration-interaction wavefunctions and the potential-energy curves for the $ {B^3}\Sigma_u^{-} $ and $ {X^3}\Sigma_g^{-} $ states of the collision-free S₂ molecule and the T-shape collision complex S₂?CHe using cc-pVQZ basis sets. We obtain the transition dipole moments of the $ {{\text{S}}_2}\left( {{B^3}\Sigma_u^{-} \to {X^3}\Sigma_g^{-} } \right) $ and the Franck?CCondon factors between the vibrational levels of this two states. We evaluate the radiative lifetimes of $ {{\text{S}}_2}\left( {{B^3}\Sigma_u^{-} \left( {{\upsilon^{\prime}} = 0 - 9} \right)} \right) $ levels of the collision complex and the collision-free molecule and compare them with the experiments. The collision provides little change in the radiative lifetimes of $ {{\text{S}}_2}\left( {{B^3}\Sigma_u^{-} \left( {{\upsilon^{\prime}} = 0 - 9} \right)} \right) $ according to the previous calculations. We obtain excellent agreement between the theoretical results and the experiments. The data calculated are very useful in the study of the microwave-driven high-pressure sulfur lamp and an S₂ laser pumped by a transverse fast discharge.
