Multiple Solutions and Its Morse Index for One-Dimensional Nonlinear Problem

Multiple Solutions for a Fourth-order Asymptotically Linear Elliptic Problem

Under simple conditions, we prove the existence of three solutions for a fourth-order asymptotically linear elliptic boundary value problem. For the resonance case at infinity, we do not need to assume any more conditions to ensure the boundedness of the （PS） sequence of the corresponding functional.

本文利用Lagrange乘子法的思想,修改了传统的混合变分形式,将二阶椭圆问题转化为与其等价的新的变分形工,给出了针对该新形式进行离散求解的一种混合元格式,与现在已知格式相比,用较少的自由度获得了较高的逼近阶。     

Behavior of Solutions to the Dirichlet Problem for Elliptic Systems in Convex Domains

We consider the Dirichlet problem for strongly elliptic systems of order 2m in convex domains. Under a positivity assumption on the Poisson kernel it is proved that the weak solution has bounded derivatives up to order m provided the outward unit normal has no big jumps on the boundary. In the case of second order symmetric systems in plane convex domains the boundedness of the first derivatives is proved without the assumption on the normal.     

Eigenvalue Gap Theorems for a Class of Nonsymmetric Elliptic Operators on Convex Domains

Adapting the method of Andrews-Clutterbuck we prove an eigenvalue gap theorem for a class of non symmetric second order linear elliptic operators on a convex domain in euclidean space. The class of operators includes the Bakry-Emery laplacian with potential and any operator with second order term the laplacian whose first order terms have coefficients with compact support in the open domain. The eigenvalue gap is bounded below by the gap of an associated Sturm-Liouville problem on a closed interval.     

Mixed Boundary Value Problems for Nonlinear Elliptic Systems with p‐Structure in Polyhedral Domains

The nonlinear elliptic system is investigated on a non‐smooth domain. Mixed boundary value conditions are given. The left‐hand side of the system has p‐structure (e.g., it is the p‐Laplacian and 1 < p < ∞). Global regularity results of u and |∇u|^p/2 in fractional order Sobolev spaces are proven.     

A Decomposition Theorem for the Solutions to the Interface Problems of Quasi-Linear Elliptic Equations

Interface problems for second order quasi-linear elliptic partial differential equations in a two-dimensional space are studied. We prove that each weak solution can be decomposed into two parts near singular points, one of which is a finite sum of functions of the form cr^a log^m rφ(θ), where the coefficients c depend on the H^1-norm of the solution, the C^(0,δ) -norm of the solution, and the equation only; and the other one of which is a regular one, the norm of which is also estimated.

利用微分不等式理论研究了一类奇摄动高阶椭圆型微分方程非局部边值问题．得到了其解一致有效的渐近展开式．     

次二次Hamilton系统的对偶Morse指标及其闭特征的稳定性

本文通过Ｇｅｌｅｒｋｉｎ逼近方法,在没有任何凸的条件下,研究了次二次Ｈａｍｉｌ－ｔｏｎ系统的ｋ对偶Ｍｏｒｓｅ指标理论．作为应用,在本文研究了Ｒ２ｎ中的凸超曲面上的闭特征的稳定性,证明了在一个较宽松的夹条件下,这类超曲面上至少有一条椭圆闭特征．
