This letter proposes and experimentally demonstrates a simple scheme for generating 40-GBaud carriersuppressed return-to-zero differential quadrature phase shift keying(CSRZ-DQPSK) modulation signals with tunable pulsewidths using two dual-parallel Mach-Zehnder modulators(DPMZMs).The duty cycle of the generated 40-GHz CSRZ-DQPSK pulse train is continuously tuned from 31% to 62%,with the full-width at half-maximum tuned from 7.8 to 15.5 ps,by electrically tuning the delay between the two sine-clock signals in one of the DPMZMs.Error-free performance is achieved after 320-km transmission. 相似文献

By controlling the wavelength and power of multiple light sources, we have realized a highly flexible Nyquist pulse generation scheme, in which the pulse repetition frequency, pulse multiplication factor, waveform envelope shape, and duty cycle are all tunable. By modulating the 3.2 GHz RF signal, we experimentally generated Nyquist pulses with repetition rates of 6.4 GHz and 9.6 GHz, a rectangular wave with a duty cycle of 0.26,and a sawtooth wave with a duty cycle of 0.52. 相似文献

针对以电容式微机械超声换能器(CMUT)阵列为探头的超声成像系统,设计了一种兼具现场可编程门阵列(FPGA)控制、脉冲驱动以及微弱电流信号检测功能的电路。利用FPGA产生64路控制信号,控制脉冲信号的频率、脉冲个数、占空比等参数;脉冲电路在FPGA以及直流电压的控制下,产生32路脉冲信号;接收电路通过跨阻放大结构实现32路电流信号检测;32通道收发电路利用脉冲产生芯片内自带的T/R开关进行高压隔离。通过搭建测试平台,对收发电路功能及一致性进行测试,并连接CMUT进行自发自收测试。测试结果表明,32通道收发电路具有良好的一致性,电路可以实现基于CMUT阵列的32通道超声信号的发射,检测回波信号,并对CMUT器件的带宽进行测试。电路具有功能完善,结构稳定的优点,为基于CMUT阵列的超声成像系统的应用提供了硬件支持。 相似文献

We present results for duty cycle selection of optical RZ pulse to optimize the performance in 10 Gbps single channel dispersion compensated optical communication system. The system has link length of 240 km with two spans. Each of the spans consists of 120 km standard single mode fiber (SSMF) of 16 ps/nm/km, whose chromatic dispersion is compensated using pre-, post- and symmetrical-dispersion compensation schemes by 24 km dispersion compensating fiber (DCF) of −80 ps/nm/km. The performance of the three compensation schemes is compared by taking 8, 10, 12 and 14 dBm Er-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) power levels in the link with a duty cycle range (0.1-0.9) of RZ optical pulse. The graphical results obtained show a relationship among the duty cycle, EDFA power and dispersion compensation scheme which predicts the best performing duty cycle case. To optimize performance of the system, we recommend in general, duty cycle less than 0.3 and EDFA power below 8 dB irrespective of compensation scheme. However, with post compensation duty cycle less than 0.7 and EDFA power below 12 dBm give optimum performance. The results conclude that for the high value of duty cycle, post dispersion compensation scheme should be used. 相似文献

Dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) effects in aqueous solutions of stable 4-hydroxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl (TEMPOL) radicals were studied in a pulsed mode of pumping the electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) transitions. Our fast field cycling setup allowed us to perform the EPR pumping at low magnetic fields and to detect the enhanced nuclear magnetic resonance signals at 7 T with high spectral resolution. Pumping was performed at two different frequencies, 300 MHz and 1.4 GHz, corresponding to magnetic fields around 10 and 48.6 mT, respectively. For both frequencies, the DNP enhancements were close to the limiting theoretical values of ?110 (14N TEMPOL) and ?165 (15N TEMPOL). Our pulsed experiments exploit coherent motion of the electronic spins in the radio-frequency field as seen by an oscillatory component in the dependence of the DNP effect on the radio-frequency pulse duration. The DNP enhancement was studied in detail as a function of the pulse length, duty cycle, delay between the pulses, and applied power. The analysis of the results shows that pulsed DNP experiments provide an opportunity to achieve enhancements of about ?110 with relatively low applied power as compared to the standard continuous-wave DNP experiments. An adequate theoretical approach to the problem under study is suggested. 相似文献

We have investigated the return-to-zero (RZ) pulse duty cycle for single-channel Standard Single mode fiber (SSMF), Non Zero Dispersion shifted fibers (normal NZDSF and anomalous NZDSF fiber) for 10 Gbps optical fiber communication system. We give a comprehensive look on the behavior of variable duty cycle optical RZ pulse indicating that lowest bit error rate for duty cycle 0.8 among the duty cycle values 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 investigated for the case of SSMF. The single repeaterless mode fiber length is increased from existing 55 km at duty cycle 0.2 to fiber length 85 km by keeping duty cycle at 0.8. The result is also emphasized through the 10 dB Q value improvement and corresponding improvement in average eye opening diagram. The normal NZDSF show similar improvement but at greater fiber length, it offers BER 10−9 at length 110 km with duty cycle 0.2. NZDSF operating length can further be increased to length 160 km by keeping duty cycle 0.8. The corresponding 8 dB Q value improvement and Average eye opening improvement also supports the result through its graphical variation. Thirdly Anomalous NZDSF for same optical communication system showed that 0.2 duty cycle value give operational length of 130 km which could be extended to 160 km if 0.8 duty cycle is kept. The corresponding 8 dB Q value improvement, average eye-opening improvement endorsed the fact in the graphs. 相似文献

We theoretically and experimentally study the optimal duty cycle and pumping rate for square-wave amplitudemodulated Bell–Bloom magnetometers.The theoretical and the experimental results are in good agreement for duty cycles and corresponding pumping rates ranging over 2 orders of magnitude.Our study gives the maximum field response as a function of duty cycle and pumping rate.Especially,for a fixed duty cycle,the maximum field response is obtained when the time averaged pumping rate,which is the product of pumping rate and duty cycle,is equal to the transverse relaxation rate in the dark.By using a combination of small duty cycle and large pumping rate,one can increase the maximum field response by up to a factor of 2 or π /2,relative to that of the sinusoidal modulation or the 50% duty cycle square-wave modulation respectively.We further show that the same pumping condition is also practically optimal for the sensitivity due to the fact that the signal at resonance is insensitive to the fluctuations of pumping rate and duty cycle. 相似文献

Low temperature ITO thin film deposition on PES substrate using pulse magnetron sputtering 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Experiments were conducted using pulse magnetron sputtering (PMS) to deposit transparent conducting indium tin oxide (ITO) thin film onto flexible polyethersulfone (PES) plastic substrates. The thin film microstructure, optoelectronic and residual stress were analyzed using the modulating PMS power, work pressure, pulse frequency, duty cycle and cycle time process parameters. The residual stress of the thin film was determined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) combined with the Sony equation. The experimental results show that PMS has a lower process temperature, higher deposition rate and lower resistivity compared with the radio frequency process at the same output power. The duty cycle increase produces the optimum optoelectronic characteristics. When the pressure, power, duty cycle and sputter time are increased, the thin film stress will also increase, causing flexural distortion in the PES plastic substrate. When the deposition thickness reaches 1.5 μm, ITO thin film will appear with a distinct split. Under 5 mtorr work pressure, 60 W power, 33 μs duty time and 2 μs pulse reverse time at duty cycle 95%, thin film with an optimized electrical 3.0 × 10−4 Ω-cm, RMS surface roughness of 0.85 nm and visible region optical transmittance will be achieved with acquisition of over 85%. 相似文献

In the present paper we conduct a theoretical study of the thermal accumulation effect of a typical bipolar transistor caused by high power pulsed microwaves(HPMs),and investigate the thermal accumulation effect as a function of pulse repetition frequency(PRF) and duty cycle.A study of the damage mechanism of the device is carried out from the variation analysis of the distribution of the electric field and the current density.The result shows that the accumulation temperature increases with PRF increasing and the threshold for the transistor is about 2 kHz.The response of the peak temperature induced by the injected single pulses indicates that the falling time is much longer than the rising time.Adopting the fitting method,the relationship between the peak temperature and the time during the rising edge and that between the peak temperature and the time during the falling edge are obtained.Moreover,the accumulation temperature decreases with duty cycle increasing for a certain mean power. 相似文献

正交四元探测器是第3代红外导引头的核心传感器,为了对该型导引头实施有效干扰,探讨了其探测工作机理,有针对性地提出影响其自动增益控制(AGC)电路工作的干扰策略,对干扰实施过程进行了仿真分析。采用蒙特卡洛方法模拟了在干扰存在频差,干扰占空比改变,干扰相位变化条件下的平均有效干扰率。仿真结果表明:以同频或倍频、0.25占空比、较高功率激光可影响导引头AGC电路正常工作,适时通过调整干扰相位可以影响干扰效果,最终破坏其信号提取逻辑,实现欺骗干扰。分析结果对于激光定向红外对抗系统的研制具有一定理论指导意义。 相似文献

Femtosecond laser pulses with suitable pulse areas are shown to decelerate and stop inside a resonant photonic crystal. The release of the stored fields can be achieved through pulse collision by use of an external optical pulse as a control field. The duty cycle efficiency of the storage and release of light is shown to be as much as 96%. The proposed technique is applied to a real photonic system with finite thickness of atomic layers. 相似文献

This paper reports the simulative analyses to investigate the impact of different pulse shapes on DP-DQPSK modulation for high-spectral efficient DWDM transmission at 112 Gbps per channel. In the simulation model we have considered three different pulse shapes viz. NRZ, 50% duty cycle RZ (RZ50) and 67% duty cycle RZ (RZ67) in symbol-aligned and symbol-interleaved format. The analysis has been carried out for various linear and nonlinear system impairments where the pulse is subjected to degradation under the influence of amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) noise, group velocity dispersion (GVD), cross-phase modulation (XPM) and polarization mode dispersion (PMD) and thus, limiting the system performance. Results show that the RZ50 pulse shape for DP-DQPSK with symbol interleaving shows the maximum tolerance for the various system degradations in long haul DWDM transmission. Even the system based on the NRZ pulse shape can gain significant improvement from the symbol-interleaving. 相似文献

在对预编码、调制和编码过程进行改进的基础上,提出了一种利用一个双臂马赫-曾德尔铌酸锂调制器和一个电信号时延器产生可调占空比和消光比的光暗脉冲归零码二进制信号的新方案。实验证明这种信号能用传统的二进制强度调制-直接检测系统的接收机进行检测。实验得到了在调节电信号时延器时速率为2.5 Gbit/s的光暗脉冲归零码二进制信号的频谱变化规律,以及占空比分别为0.25,0.35,0.60和0.80时光暗脉冲归零码二进制信号的误码率和眼图。此外,利用该方案产生的光暗脉冲归零码二进制信号可以作为标记在光标记交换网络中得到应用。 相似文献
