We study algebraic (Artin) stacks over [`(M)]g{\overline{\mathcal M}_{g}} giving a functorial way of compactifying the relative degree d Picard variety for families of stable curves. We also describe for every d the locus of genus g stable curves over which we get Deligne–Mumford stacks strongly representable over[`(M)]g{\overline{\mathcal M}_{g}} .  相似文献

Let f be an endomorphism of \mathbbC\mathbbPk{\mathbb{C}\mathbb{P}^k} and ν be an f-invariant measure with positive Lyapunov exponents (λ 1, . . . , λ k ). We prove a lower bound for the pointwise dimension of ν in terms of the degree of f, the exponents of ν and the entropy of ν. In particular our result can be applied for the maximal entropy measure μ. When k = 2, it implies that the Hausdorff dimension of μ is estimated by dimHm 3 [(log d)/(l1)] + [(log d)/(l2)]{{\rm dim}_\mathcal{H}\mu \geq {{\rm log} d \over \lambda_1} + {{\rm log} d \over \lambda_2}}, which is half of the conjectured formula. Our method for proving these results consists in studying the distribution of the ν-generic inverse branches of f n in \mathbbC\mathbbPk{\mathbb{C}\mathbb{P}^k} . Our tools are a volume growth estimate for the bounded holomorphic polydiscs in \mathbbC\mathbbPk{\mathbb{C}\mathbb{P}^k} and a normalization theorem for the ν-generic inverse branches of f n .  相似文献

We give some general results on proper-biharmonic submanifolds of a complex space form and, in particular, of the complex projective space. These results are mainly concerned with submanifolds with constant mean curvature or parallel mean curvature vector field. We find the relation between the bitension field of the inclusion of a submanifold [`(M)]{\bar{M}} in \mathbbCPn{\mathbb{C}P^n} and the bitension field of the inclusion of the corresponding Hopf-tube in \mathbbS2n+1{\mathbb{S}^{2n+1}}. Using this relation we produce new families of proper-biharmonic submanifolds of \mathbbCPn{\mathbb{C}P^n}. We study the geometry of biharmonic curves of \mathbbCPn{\mathbb{C}P^n} and we characterize the proper-biharmonic curves in terms of their curvatures and complex torsions.  相似文献

In 1976, Helleseth conjectured that two binary m-sequences of length 2 m − 1 can not have a three-valued crosscorrelation function when m is a power of 2. We show that this conjecture is true when −1 is a correlation value. In other words, if C1,k{{\mathcal{C}}_{1,k}} is the cyclic code of length 2 m − 1 with two zeros α, α k , where α is a primitive element of \mathbbF2m{{\mathbb{F}}_{2^m}} and gcd(k, 2 m − 1) = 1, then its dual C1,k^{{\mathcal{C}}_{1,k}^{\perp}} can not have three weights when m is a power of 2.  相似文献

Denote by ν m (d) the maximal integer for which there exists for d >> 0{d \gg 0} a threefold X ì \mathbbP5{X\subset \mathbb{P}^5} complete intersection of hypersurfaces of degree respectively d and d − 1 such that X has only ordinary singularities of order m and |Sing(X)| = ν m (d). We prove that, nm(d) 3 j(d){\nu_m(d)\ge \varphi(d)} where j(d) ~ d5{\varphi(d)\sim d^5} asymptotically. We prove the nonexistence of an isometric immersion of the geometries Nil 3 and into a four-dimensional space M c 4 of constant curvature c. Given a complex Hilbert space H, we study the manifold of algebraic elements in . We represent as a disjoint union of closed connected subsets M of Z each of which is an orbit under the action of G, the group of all C*-algebra automorphisms of Z. Those orbits M consisting of hermitian algebraic elements with a fixed finite rank r, (0< r<∞) are real-analytic direct submanifolds of Z. Using the C*-algebra structure of Z, a Banach-manifold structure and a G-invariant torsionfree affine connection ∇ are defined on M, and the geodesics are computed. If M is the orbit of a finite rank projection, then a G-invariant Riemann structure is defined with respect to which ∇ is the Levi-Civita connection. We investigate the jumping conics of stable vector bundles E of rank 2 on a smooth quadric surface Q with the first Chern class c1 = OQ(-1,-1){c_1= \mathcal{O}_Q(-1,-1)} with respect to the ample line bundle OQ(1,1){\mathcal {O}_Q(1,1)} . We show that the set of jumping conics of E is a hypersurface of degree c 2(E) − 1 in \mathbb P3*{\mathbb {P}_3^{*}} . Using these hypersurfaces, we describe moduli spaces of stable vector bundles of rank 2 on Q in the cases of lower c 2(E).  相似文献

We say that a ( \mathfrakg,\mathfrakk \mathfrak{g},\mathfrak{k} )-module M is bounded if there exists a constant C M such that the Jordan-H?lder multiplicities of any simple finite-dimensional \mathfrakk \mathfrak{k} -module in every finite-dimensional \mathfrakk \mathfrak{k} -submodule of M are bounded by C M . In the present paper we describe explicitly all reductive in \mathfraks\mathfrakln \mathfrak{s}{\mathfrak{l}_n} subalgebras \mathfrakk \mathfrak{k} which admit a bounded simple infinite-dimensional ( \mathfraks\mathfrakln,\mathfrakk \mathfrak{s}{\mathfrak{l}_n},\mathfrak{k} )-module. Our technique is based on symplectic geometry and the notion of spherical variety. We also characterize the irreducible components of the associated varieties of simple bounded ( \mathfrakg,\mathfrakk \mathfrak{g},\mathfrak{k} )-modules.  相似文献

Let F:M ×\mathbbR ? M {\mathbf{F}}:M \times \mathbb{R} \to M be a continuous flow on a manifold M, let VM be an open subset, and let x:V ? \mathbbR \xi :V \to \mathbb{R} be a continuous function. We say that ξ is a period function if F(x, ξ(x)) = x for all xV. Recently, for any open connected subset VM; the author has described the structure of the set P(V) of all period functions on V. Assume that F is topologically conjugate to some C1 {\mathcal{C}^1} -flow. A code C{{\mathcal C}} is \mathbb Z2\mathbb Z4{{{\mathbb Z}_2}{{\mathbb Z}_4}} -additive if the set of coordinates can be partitioned into two subsets X and Y such that the punctured code of C{{\mathcal C}} by deleting the coordinates outside X (respectively, Y) is a binary linear code (respectively, a quaternary linear code). In this paper \mathbb Z2\mathbb Z4{{{\mathbb Z}_2}{{\mathbb Z}_4}} -additive codes are studied. Their corresponding binary images, via the Gray map, are \mathbb Z2\mathbb Z4{{{\mathbb Z}_2}{{\mathbb Z}_4}} -linear codes, which seem to be a very distinguished class of binary group codes. As for binary and quaternary linear codes, for these codes the fundamental parameters are found and standard forms for generator and parity-check matrices are given. In order to do this, the appropriate concept of duality for \mathbb Z2\mathbb Z4{{{\mathbb Z}_2}{{\mathbb Z}_4}} -additive codes is defined and the parameters of their dual codes are computed.  相似文献

Bent and almost-bent functions on \mathbbZp2{\mathbb{Z}_p^2} are studied in this paper. By calculating certain exponential sum and using a technique due to Hou (Finite Fields Appl 10:566–582, 2004), we obtain a degree bound for quasi-bent functions, and prove that almost-bent functions on \mathbbZp2{\mathbb{Z}_p^2} are equivalent to a degenerate quadratic form. From the viewpoint of relative difference sets, we also characterize bent functions on \mathbbZp2{\mathbb{Z}_p^2} in two classes of M{\mathcal{M}} ’s and PS{\mathcal{PS}} ’s, and show that the graph set corresponding to a bent function on \mathbbZp2{\mathbb{Z}_p^2} can be written as the sum of a graph set of M{\mathcal{M}} ’s type bent function and another group ring element. By using our characterization and some technique of permutation polynomial, we obtain the result: a bent function must be of M{\mathcal{M}} ’s type if its corresponding set contains more than (p − 3)/2 flats. A problem proposed by Ma and Pott (J Algebra 175:505–525, 1995) is therefore partially answered.  相似文献

We prove that an overcomplete Gabor frame in \({\ell }^2({\mathbb {Z}})\) generated by a finitely supported sequence is always linearly dependent. This is a particular case of a general result about linear dependence versus independence for Gabor systems in \({\ell }^2({\mathbb {Z}})\) with modulation parameter 1 / M and translation parameter N for some \(M,N\in {\mathbb {N}},\) and generated by a finite sequence g in \({\ell }^2({\mathbb {Z}})\) with K nonzero entries.
