Five new ether-soluble resin glycosides (jalapins), simonins I-V, have been isolated from the roots of Ipomoea batatas and characterized on the bases of chemical and spectral data. Simonin I is the first example of resin glycoside with aromatic acid (trans-cinnamic acid) as a component organic acid.  相似文献

Four compounds named orizabin I, II, III and IV, which are ether-soluble and correspond to the so-called resin glycoside “jalapin” were isolated, for the first time, from the root of Ipomoea orizabensis (Convoi vul aceae). Unlike the presumption advocated by Mannich and Schumann for the ether-insoluble glycoside “convoivulin” from I. purgá, all of them were respectively a monomer of hydroxyfatty acid oligoglycoside in which the sugar moiety is partially acylated by organic acids and also combines with the car☐y group of the aglycone to form a macrocyclic ester. Their isolation in a pure state was successfully achieved by a high resolution preparative HPLC in the final step. The structures were determined on the basis of chemical and spectral data and regarded to represent those of genuine ingredients.  相似文献

Four new and two known ether-soluble resin glycosides were isolated from popular sweet potato (the roots of Ipomoea batatas L. LAM., Kokei 14 go, Convolvulaceae) in Japan. Unlike ester-type dimers, batatins I and II, obtained from other sweet potato (Ipomoea batabas var. batatas), the glycosides were tetra or pentasaccharide monomers in which the sugar moieties are partially acylated by organic acids and combine with the aglycone, jalapinolic acid, to form a macrocyclic ester.  相似文献

Following the elucidation of eupteleasaponins I, II, III, IV, V, and V acetate, eupteleasaponins VI, VI acetate, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII were isolated from the fresh leaves of Euptelea polyandra Sieb. et Zucc. The roots of Gongronema taylorii are rich in glycosides. These glycosides form a complex mixture of substances, of which some are closely related. From this mixture, six more or less pure but amorphous glycosides could be separated. Mild acid hydrolysis followed by alkaline hydrolysis led to the isolation of 5α-dihydrosarcostin ( 1 ) and some tayloron ( 3 ), whose probable structures have been reported earlier. In the original mixture, these genins are esterified predominantly with benzoic and cinnamic acids, and are also bound through glycosidic linkages to a series of sugars of which the following four could be identified by paper and thin layer chromatography: cymarose, digitoxose, oleandrose and pachybiose. Pachybiose and its two anomeric methyl glycosides have been isolated for the first time in a cristalline state.  相似文献

The structural elucidation of eleven new related polyoxypregnane glycosides, gymnepregosides G (1), H (2), I (3), J (4), K (5), L (6), M (7), N (8), O (9), P (10) and Q (11), from the roots of Gymnema alternifolium (Asclepiadaceae) was achieved by a detailed study of 1H- and 13C-NMR spectral data and chemical means. The results obtained for new compounds, 1-11, show that they are (20S)-pregn-6-ene-3 beta,5 alpha,8 beta,12 beta,14 beta,17 beta,20-heptaol 3-O-glycosides, and all the sugars at C-3 are beta(i-->4)-linked. Some of them possess benzoyl, (E)- and (Z)-cin-namoyl, and tigloyl residues as the ester linkages located at C-12 and/or C-20 of the aglycone.  相似文献

Three new glycosides, 6'-O-alpha-D-galactopyranosylsyringopicroside (1), secologanoside 7-methyl ester (2) and (+)-lariciresinol 4'-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-beta-D-glucopyranoside (3), were isolated from the leaves of Syringa reticulata. Their structures were established on the basis of chemical and spectral data. Compound 1 is the first naturally occurring iridoid di-glycoside having melibiose. Comparison of the spectral data of 2 and that previously recognized as secologanoside 7-methyl ester led to the conclusion that the recognized structure should be revised to the sodium salt of secoxyloganin (2').  相似文献

The total acidic hydrolysis of kalanoside-H and kalanoside-K yielded 12-O-acetyl-17-isolineolon as well as three sugars: oleandrose, canarose and digitoxose. From partial hydrolysis and UV., IR. and NMR. spectral data, it could be concluded that kalanoside-H is probably a trisaccharide glycoside having the partial formula 1a or 1b , and similarly that kalanoside-K has probably the partial formula 2 .  相似文献

A new beta-carboline-type alkaloidal glycoside, glucodichotomine B, four new neolignan glycosides, dichotomosides A, B, C, and D, and a new phenylpropanoid glycoside, dichotomoside E, were isolated from a Chinese natural medicine, the roots of Stellaria dichotoma L. var. lanceolata. The structures of the new glycosides were determined on the basis of chemical and physicochemical evidence. Among them, dichotomoside D inhibited the release of beta-hexosaminidase (IC(50)=64 microM) as well as tumor necrosis factor-alpha and interleukin-4 (IC(50)=16, 34 microM) in RBL-2H3 cells. These findings suggest that dichotomoside D is more effective against the late-phase reactions in type I allergy than in the immediate phase.  相似文献
