We prove that Gibbs states for the Hamiltonian , with thes x varying on theN-dimensional unit sphere, obtained with nonrandom boundary conditions (in a suitable sense), are almost surely rotationally invariant if withJ xy i.i.d. bounded random variables with zero average, 1 in one dimension, and 2 in two dimensions.  相似文献

In the context of the littlest Higgs (LH) model, we study the process . We find that the new gauge bosons Z H and B H can produce significant correction effects on this process, which can be further enhanced by suitably polarized beams. In most of the parameter space preferred by the electroweak precision data, the absolute value of the relative correction parameter is larger than 5 %. As long as and the absolute value of the relative correction parameter is larger than . With reasonable values of the parameters of the LH model, the possible signals of the new gauge bosons B H and Z H can be detected via the process in the future LC experiments with the CM energy . B H exchange and Z H exchange can generate significantly corrections to the forward-backward asymmetry only in a small part of the parameter space.Received: 29 October 2004, Revised: 29 November 2004, Published online: 15 February 2005  相似文献

The recent theoretical work by Bartlett et al. [J. Phys. B 38, L95 (2005)] and the latest measurements on the reduced Stokes parameters , and for 54.4 eV electron impact excitation of the 2p state atomic hydrogen by Williams and Mikosza [J. Phys. B 39, 4113 (2006)] has motivated the present work. A coupled-channel-optical calculation with 9 and 12 atomic states supplemented with the continuum optical potentials for the stronger coupling channels has been performed. The calculated n = 2 and n = 3 differential cross sections and the reduced Stokes parameters are comparable with the state-of-the art calculations. There is closer agreement between the present calculations and the experimental measurements for the reduced Stokes parameters and in the n = 2p excitation at 54.4 eV. The present CCO calculations also display good accord with the limited experimental data for the reduced Stokes parameters in the n=3p excitation.  相似文献

GLh(n) ×GLh(m)-covariant (hh)-bosonic[or (hh)-fermionic] algebras are built in terms of thecorresponding Rh and -matrices by contracting theGLq(n) × -covariant q-bosonic (or q-fermionic) algebras , = 1, 2.When using a basis of wherein theannihilation operators are contragredient to thecreation ones, this contraction procedure can be carried out for any n, m values. Whenemploying instead a basis wherein the annihilationoperators, like the creation ones, are irreducibletensor operators with respect to the dual quantumalgebra Uq(gl(n)) , a contraction limit only exists forn, m {1, 2, 4, 6, . . .}. For n = 2, m = 1, andn = m = 2, the resulting relations can be expressed interms of coupled (anti)commutators (as in the classical case), by usingUh(sl(2)) [instead of s1(2)] Clebsch-Gordancoefficients. Some Uh(sl(2)) rank-1/2irreducible tensor operators recently constructed byAizawa are shown to provide a realization of (2, 1).  相似文献

We consider an anisotropic independent bond percolation model on , i.e. we suppose that the vertical edges of are open with probability p and closed with probability 1–p, while the horizontal edges of are open with probability p and closed with probability 1– p, with 0 < p, < 1. Let , with x1 < x2, and . It is natural to ask how the two point connectivity function Pp,({0 x}) behaves, and whether anisotropy in percolation probabilities implies the strict inequality Pp,({0 x})> Pp,({0 x}). In this note we give affirmative answer at least for some regions of the parameters involved.Mathematics Subject Classifications (2000). 82B20, 82B41, 82B43.  相似文献

With aC*-algebra with unit andgG g a homomorphic map of a groupG into the automorphism group ofG, the central measure of a state of is invariant under the action ofG (in the state space of ) iff is -invariant. Furthermore if the pair { ,G} is asymptotically abelian, is ergodic iff is ergodic. Transitive ergodic states (corresponding to transitive central measures) are centrally decomposed into primary states whose isotropy groups form a conjugacy class of subgroups. IfG is locally compact and acts continuously on , the associated covariant representations of { , } are those induced by such subgroups. Transitive states under time-translations must be primary if required to be stable. The last section offers a complete classification of the isotropy groups of the primary states occurring in the central decomposition of euclidean transitive ergodic invariant states.  相似文献

Monte Carlo simulations of the bond fluctuation model of symmetrical polymer blends confined between two neutral repulsive walls are presented for chain lengthN A=N B=32 and a wide range of film thicknessD (fromD=8 toD=48 in units of the lattice spacing). The critical temperaturesT c (D) of unmixing are located by finite-size scaling methods, and it is shown that , wherev 30.63 is the correlation length exponent of the three-dimensional Ising model universality class. Contrary to this result, it is argued that the critical behavior of the films is ruled by two-dimensional exponents, e.g., the coexistence curve (difference in volume fraction of A-rich and A-poor phases) scales as , where 2 is the critical exponent of the two-dimensional Ising universality class ( 2=1/8). Since for largeD this asymptotic critical behavior is confined to an extremely narrow vicinity ofT c (D), one observes in practice effective exponents which gradually cross over from 2 to 3 with increasing film thickness. This anomalous flattening of the coexistence curve should be observable experimentally.  相似文献

We consider a lattice of spin 1/2 ions, described by the discrete form of the current commutation relationsJ i J (i) =1/2, [J i ,J i ]=i ij J i where =1, 2, 3 andi label the lattice sites. The algebra is realized as the Clifford algebra over a Hilbert space. The equations of motion are specified by a formal Hamiltonian of the Heisenberg form: , wheref ij 0 and only a finite numberQ of ions are linked to any given lattice site. We prove that the Hamiltonian is non-negative in a representation of , and has a ground state exhibiting ferromagnetism. The time displacement group acts continuously on , inducing automorphisms. is asymptotically abelian with respect to the space translations of the lattice. The model is an example of an algebraic quantum field theory and possesses a broken symmetry, the rotation group 0(3). The consequent Goldstone theorem is proved, namely, there is no energy gap in the spectrum ofH.  相似文献

The expression for free carrier Faraday rotation and for ellipticity , as the function of the applied parallel static electric field and static magnetic field for a given value of wave angular frequency and electron concentration N0, are obtained and theoretically analyzed with the aid of one-dimensional linearized wave theory and Kane's non-parabolic isotropic dispersion law. It is shown that the maximum Faraday rotation occurs near the cyclotron resonance condition, which can be expressed as , where , , and . Here m* and e denote the effective mass and charge of electron, respectively. g is the forbidden bandgap of semiconductor. v0 is the carrier drift velocity, which is a non-linear function of E0 in high field condition. A possibility of a simple way of determining the non-linear v0 vs E0 characteristics of semiconductors by the measurement of Faraday rotation is also discussed.  相似文献

LetR be an expanding rational function with a real bounded Julia set, and let be a Ruelle operator acting in a space of functions analytic in a neighbourhood of the Julia set. We obtain explicit expressions for the resolvent function and, in particular, for the Fredholm determinantD()=det(I-L). It gives us an equation for calculating the escape rate. We relate our results to orthogonal polynomials with respect to the balanced measure ofR. Two examples are considered. The first named author was sponsored in part by the Landau Center for Research in Mathematical Analysis, supported by the Minerva Foundation (Germany)  相似文献

The average density of zeros for monic generalized polynomials, , with real holomorphic ,f k and real Gaussian coefficients is expressed in terms of correlation functions of the values of the polynomial and its derivative. We obtain compact expressions for both the regular component (generated by the complex roots) and the singular one (real roots) of the average density of roots. The density of the regular component goes to zero in the vicinity of the real axis like |lmz|. We present the low- and high-disorder asymptotic behaviors. Then we particularize to the large-n limit of the average density of complex roots of monic algebraic polynomials of the form with real independent, identically distributed Gaussian coefficients having zero mean and dispersion . The average density tends to a simple, universal function of =2nlog|z| and in the domain coth(/2)n|sin arg(z)|, where nearly all the roots are located for largen.  相似文献

The nuclear magnetic moment of182Ta has been measured with the aid of the NMR-ON technique, using the hyperfine fieldB=–65.6±1.3T in iron. Its value =298±0.06 N is in excellent agreement with that calculated for a Nilsson configuration, using proper parametersg K andg R derived from neighbouring odd-A nuclei. Agreement is also found between experimental and calculated nuclear magnetic moments of184Re, which has the sameK=1/2 neutron state as182Ta.  相似文献

Neutrinoless double-beta decay within Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with gauge mediated supersymmetry breaking is considered. Limits on R-parity breaking constant coming from non-observability of 0 in 76Ge are found. The dependence of on different parameters at the messenger scale M are shown, with special attention paid to nuclear part of calculations. We have found that strongly depends on the effective supersymmetry breaking scale only and deduced limits imposed on this non-standard parameter by the germanium experiment.  相似文献

In the CP-violating minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM), for certain values of the CP-violating phases associated to the universal trilinear couplings (At, Ab) and the gluino mass , e.g., or , for GeV and -5, the lightest Higgs boson mass ( ) is GeV. This mass interval is still allowed by results of standard LEP Higgs searches because of a strongly suppressed H1ZZ coupling. However, in the same region of parameter space in which these two conditions occur, the coupling is enhanced because the two mentioned sets of couplings satisfy a sum rule. In this paper we probe such a light Higgs scenario at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) by studying associate production, leading to a signal. We show that the latter is readily accessible at the CERN hadron collider, upon the application of suitable selection cuts against the standard model (SM) backgrounds. Our parton level Monte Carlo (MC) analysis yields -45 signal events, completely free of SM background, for - 30 fb-1 of accumulated luminosity, after taking into account the overall efficiency for tagging four b-jets.Received: 21 February 2005, Published online: 6 July 2005  相似文献

The so-called perfect wetting phenomenon is studied for theq-state,d2 Potts model. Using a new correlation inequality, a general inequality is established for the surface tension between ordered phases ( a,b ) and the surface tension between an ordered and the disordered phases ( a,f ) for any even value ofq. This result implies in particular at the transition point t where the previous phases coexist forq large. This inequality is connected to perfect wetting at the transition point using thermodynamic considerations. The same kinds of results are derived for the Blume-Capel model.  相似文献

Corresponding to the wellposedness result [2] for the classical 3-D Navier-Stokes equations (NS ν) with initial data in the scaling invariant Besov space, here we consider a similar problem for the 3-D anisotropic Navier-Stokes equations (ANS ν), where the vertical viscosity is zero. In order to do so, we first introduce the Besov-Sobolev type spaces, and Then with initial data in the scaling invariant space we prove the global wellposedness for (ANS ν) provided the norm of initial data is small enough compared to the horizontal viscosity. In particular, this result implies the global wellposedness of (ANS ν) with high oscillatory initial data (1.2).  相似文献

Measurements of on-shell ZZ production are described, using data from the DELPHI experiment at LEP in e + e - collisions at centre-of-mass energies between 183 and 209 GeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of about 665 pb-1. Results obtained in each of the final states , , , , , l + l - l + l -, and (with ) are presented. The measured production cross-sections are consistent with the Standard Model expectations. These results update and supersede those already published at 183 and 189 GeV.Received: 3 March 2002, Revised: 28 May 2003, Published online: 19 September 2003  相似文献

We present a systematic analysis of backward pion photoproduction for the reactions p p and p n . Regge phenomenology is applied at invariant collision energies above 3GeV in order to fix the reaction amplitude. A comparision with older data on - and -photoproduction at = 180° indicates that the high-energy limit as given by the Regge calculation could be reached possibly at energies of around ≃ 3 GeV. In the energy region of 2.5 GeV, covered by the new measurements of p p differential cross-sections at large angles at ELSA, JLab, and LEPS, we see no clear signal for a convergence towards the Regge results. The baryon trajectories obtained in our analysis are in good agreement with those given by the spectrum of excited baryons.  相似文献
