Un schéma non linéaire anti-dissipatif pour l'équation d'advection linéaire

We present a non-diffusive scheme using a flux-limiter approach. This limiter verifies L^∞-stability and TVD conditions. The convergence is established. We identify a class of functions (dense in L¹) that are advected exactly.

In this Note, we are interested in the possible continuation after the blow-up time T_m of radially symmetric positive classical solutions u of the heat equation with nonlinearity f(u) = u^p, where p > 1. We say that u blows up completely after T_m if u can not be extended beyond T_m (even in the weak sense). We obtain a complete blow up criterion which relies on the asymptotic behaviour of u around the blow-up singularity x = 0.

Temps de vie des solutions d'un problème de Cauchy non linéaire

We solve the global Cauchy problem, with small initial data, in the space of the holomorphic functions with respect to t and Gevrey class with respect to x. We establish the existence and the stability of the solution to Cauchy problem with nul initial data without hyperbolicity hypothesis. In the stationary case, we give estimates of life span of the solutions with respect to size of the initial data.     

Sur l'équation de boltzmann homogène et sa relation avec l'équation de landau-fokker-planck: influence des collisions rasantes

We prove the existence of weak solutions of the spatially homogeneous Boltzmann equation without angular cut-off assumption for inverse s^th power molecules with s ≥ 7/3, and general initial data with bounded mass, kinetic energy and entropy. Next, we show the convergence of these solutions to solutions of the Landau-Fokker-Planck equation when the collision kernel concentrates around the value π/2

Estimation locale linéaire de la densité conditionnelle pour des données fonctionnelles

In this Note, we introduce the local linear estimation of the conditional density of a scalar response variable given a random variable taking values in a semi-metric space. Under some general conditions, we establish the pointwise and uniform almost complete convergences with rates of this estimator. Moreover, as an application, we use the obtained results to derive some asymptotic properties for the local linear estimator of the conditional mode.

Remarque sur la régularité locale de l'équation de Kadomtsev-Petviashvili-II

We give a short proof of a part of the Bourgain's result from [3]. More precisely, we prove that the Cauchy problem for the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation is locally well posed in Sobolev spaces with positive index.     

Schéma de relaxation pour l'équation de Schrödinger non linéaire et les systèmes de Davey et Stewartson

In this paper, we introduce a new numerical scheme for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation and the Davey-Stewartson systems. This is a relaxation type scheme that avoids the resolution of nonlinear systems. We give convergence results for the semi-discret version, locally in time for all data and globally in time for small data.
