A unique hierarchically nanostructured composite of iron oxide/carbon (Fe3O4/C) nanospheres‐doped three‐dimensional (3D) graphene aerogel has been fabricated by a one‐pot hydrothermal strategy. In this novel nanostructured composite aerogel, uniform Fe3O4 nanocrystals (5–10 nm) are individually embedded in carbon nanospheres (ca. 50 nm) forming a pomegranate‐like structure. The carbon matrix suppresses the aggregation of Fe3O4 nanocrystals, avoids direct exposure of the encapsulated Fe3O4 to the electrolyte, and buffers the volume expansion. Meanwhile, the interconnected 3D graphene aerogel further serves to reinforce the structure of the Fe3O4/C nanospheres and enhances the electrical conductivity of the overall electrode. Therefore, the carbon matrix and the interconnected graphene network entrap the Fe3O4 nanocrystals such that their electrochemical function is retained even after fracture. This novel hierarchical aerogel structure delivers a long‐term stability of 634 mA h g?1 over 1000 cycles at a high current density of 6 A g?1 (7 C), and an excellent rate capability of 413 mA h g?1 at 10 A g?1 (11 C), thus exhibiting great potential as an anode composite structure for durable high‐rate lithium‐ion batteries.  相似文献

A facile strategy is reported for the fabrication of Pt‐loaded core–shell nanocomposite ellipsoids (Fe2O3‐Pt@DSL) consisting of ellipsoidal Fe2O3 cores, double‐layered La2O3 shells and deposited Pt nanoparticles (NPs). The formation of the doubled‐shelled structure uses Fe2O3‐Pt@mSiO2 as template sacrificial agent and it involves the re‐deposition of silica and self‐assembly of metal oxide units. The preparation methods of double‐shelled metal oxides avoid repeated coating and etching and could be utilized to fabricate other shaped double‐shelled composites. Characterization results indicated that the Fe2O3‐Pt@DSL nanocomposites possessed mesoporous structure and tunable shell thickness. Moreover, due to the formation of Fe2O3 and La2O3 composites, Pt NPs can also be stabilized via deposition on chemically active oxides with a synergistic effect. Therefore, as a catalyst for the reduction of 4‐nitrophenol, Fe2O3‐Pt@DSL showed superior catalytic activity and reusability due to structural superiority and enhanced composite synergy. Finally, well‐dispersed Pt NPs were encapsulated into the void between the shell layers to construct the Fe2O3‐Pt@DSL‐Pt catalyst.  相似文献

A solvothermal post‐treatment method was developed to synthesize Fe3O4@mesosilica core–shell nanospheres (CSNs) with a well‐preserved morphology, mesoporous structure, and tunable large pore diameters (2.5–17.6 nm) for the first time. N,N‐Dimethylhexadecylamine (DMHA), which was generated in situ during the heat‐treatment process, was mainly responsible for this pore‐size enlargement, as characterized by NMR spectroscopy. This pore‐size expansion can be strengthened with the aid of hexamethyldisilazane (HMDS), whilst the nature of the surface of the Fe3O4@mesosilica CSNs can be easily modified with trimethylsilyl groups during the pore‐size‐expansion process. The hydrophobicity of the Fe3O4@mesosilica CSNs increased for the enlarged mesopores and the adsorption capacity of these CSNs for benzene (up to 1.5 g g?1) is the highest ever reported for Fe3O4@mesosilica CSNs. The resultant Fe3O4@mesosilica CSNs (pore size: 10 nm) showed a 3.6‐times higher adsorption capacity of lysozyme than those without the pore expansion (pore size: 2.5 nm), thus making them a good candidate for loading large molecules.  相似文献

Hierarchical Fe3O4@SiO2@P(4VP‐DVB)@Au nanostructures were prepared in which the slightly cross‐linked, thin poly(4‐vinylpyridine‐co‐divinylbenzene) (P(4VP‐DVB)) shells were constructed onto Fe3O4@SiO2 nanospheres, followed by in situ embedding of gold nanocrystals homogeneously into the P4VP chains. These slightly cross‐linked chains, easily swollen by the reactants, make the gold nanocrystals accessible to the reactants, and the thin shell (about 15 nm) reduces the diffusion distance of the reactants to the active gold nanocrystals (about 5 nm), thereby enhancing their catalytic activity and utility. At the same time, confinement of gold nanocrystals within the P4VP shells prevents their migration and coagulation during catalytic transformations. Hence the nanocomposites exhibit high activity (up to 4369.5 h?1 of turnover frequency (TOF)) and controllable magnetic recyclability without any significant loss of gold species after ten runs of catalysis in the reduction of 4‐nitrophenol.  相似文献

An efficient route for the synthesis of 5‐substituted 1H‐tetrazole via [2+3] cycloaddition of nitriles and sodium azide is reported using Fe3O4/ZnS hollow nanospheres as a magnetic separable heterogeneous catalyst. The catalyst is very efficient, affording excellent yields and can be reused for several circles. In addition, the Fe3O4 inner shell exhibits magnetism, making the catalyst easily separated by a magnet.  相似文献

Fe3O4/ZIF‐8 nanoparticles were synthesized through a room‐temperature reaction between 2‐methylimidazolate and zinc nitrate in the presence of Fe3O4 nanocrystals. The particle size, surface charge, and magnetic loading can be conveniently controlled by the dosage of Zn(NO3)2 and Fe3O4 nanocrystals. The as‐prepared particles show both good thermal stability (stable to 550 °C) and large surface area (1174 m2g?1). The nanoparticles also have a superparamagnetic response, so that they can strongly respond to an external field during magnetic separation and disperse back into the solution after withdrawal of the magnetic field. For the Knoevenagel reaction, which is catalyzed by alkaline active sites on external surface of catalyst, small Fe3O4/ZIF‐8 nanoparticles show a higher catalytic activity. At the same time, the nanocatalysts can be continuously used in multiple catalytic reactions through magnetic separation, activation, and redispersion with little loss of activity.  相似文献

In this study, immobilized hollow nanospheres of Fe3O4 with Palladium, Platinum and Gold nanoparticles (Fe3O4HNS‐PdPtAuNPs) was synthesized by hydrothermal and chemical reduction methods and characterized by various techniques such as field emission scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive analysis of X‐rays and elemental mapping images. The electrocatalytic activity of the modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) with Fe3O4HNS‐PdPtAuNPs (GCE/Fe3O4HNS‐PdPtAuNPs) toward methanol electrooxidation was investigated by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry in 1 M NaOH solution. According to the results, Fe3O4HNS‐PdPtAuNPs catalyst demonstrated the highest efficiency for methanol electrooxidation in comparison with Fe3O4HNS‐PdNPs, Fe3O4HNS‐PtNPs, Fe3O4HNS‐PdAuNPs, Fe3O4HNS‐PtAuNPs and Fe3O4HNS‐PdPtNPs. The value of electron transfer coefficient (α ) and the ratio of current densities (If /Ib ) for methanol oxidation on the Fe3O4HNS‐PdPtAuNPs/GC catalyst were calculated 0.61 and 5.13, respectively. The reaction order was discovered to be 0.98 for CH3OH. A direct methanol fuel cell was developed with the suggested catalyst under several conditions.  相似文献

An effective one‐pot, convenient process for the synthesis of 1‐ and 5‐substituted 1H‐tetrazoles from nitriles and amines is described using1,4‐dihydroxyanthraquinone–copper(II) supported on Fe3O4@SiO2 magnetic porous nanospheres as a novel recyclable catalyst. The application of this catalyst allows the synthesis of a variety of tetrazoles in good to excellent yields. The preparation of the magnetic nanocatalyst with core–shell structure is presented by using nano‐Fe3O4 as the core, tetraethoxysilane as the silica source and poly(vinyl alcohol) as the surfactant, and then Fe3O4@SiO2 was coated with 1,4‐dihydroxyanthraquinone–copper(II) nanoparticles. The new catalyst was characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering, thermogravimetric analysis, vibration sample magnetometry, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, nitrogen adsorption–desorption isotherm analysis and inductively coupled plasma analysis. This new procedure offers several advantages such as short reaction times, excellent yields, operational simplicity, practicability and applicability to various substrates and absence of any tedious workup or purification. In addition, the excellent catalytic performance, thermal stability and separation of the catalyst make it a good heterogeneous system and a useful alternative to other heterogeneous catalysts. Also, the catalyst could be magnetically separated and reused six times without significant loss of catalytic activity. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A strategy has been developed for the synthesis, characterization and catalysis of magnetic Fe3O4/P(GMA‐EGDMA)‐NH2/HPG‐COOH‐Pd core‐shell structure supported catalyst. The P(GMA‐EGDMA) polymer layer was coated on the surface of hollow magnetic Fe3O4 microspheres through the effect of KH570. The core‐shell magnetic Fe3O4/P(GMA‐EGDMA) modified by ‐NH2 could be grafted with HPG. Then, the hyperbranched glycidyl (HPG) with terminal ‐OH were modified by ‐COOH and adsorbed Pd nanoparticles. The hyperbranched polymer layer not only protected the Fe3O4 magnetic core from acid–base substrate corrosion, but also provided a number of functional groups as binding sites for Pd nanoparticles. The prepared catalyst was characterized by UV–vis, TEM, SEM, FTIR, TGA, ICP‐OES, BET, XRD, DLS and VSM. The catalytic tests showed that the magnetic Fe3O4/P(GMA‐EGDMA)‐NH2/HPG‐COOH‐Pd catalyst had excellent catalytic performance and retained 86% catalytic efficiency after 8 consecutive cycles.  相似文献

Hierarchical Fe3O4@poly(4‐vinylpyridine‐co‐divinylbenzene)@Au (Fe3O4@P(4‐VP–DVB)@Au) nanostructures were fabricated successfully by means of a facile two‐step synthesis process. In this study, well‐defined core–shell Fe3O4@P(4‐VP–DVB) microspheres were first prepared with a simple polymerization method, in which 4‐VP was easily polymerized on the surface of Fe3O4 nanoparticles by means of strong hydrogen‐bond interactions between ? COOH groups on poly(acrylic acid)‐modified Fe3O4 nanoparticles and a 4‐VP monomer. HAuCl4 was adsorbed on the chains of a P(4‐VP) shell and then reduced to Au nanoparticles by NaBH4, which were embedded into the P(4‐VP) shell of the composite microspheres to finally form the Fe3O4@P(4‐VP–DVB)@Au nanostructures. The obtained Fe3O4@P(4‐VP–DVB)@Au catalysts with different Au loadings were applied in the reduction of 4‐nitrophenol (4‐NP) and exhibited excellent catalytic activity (up to 3025 h?1 of turnover frequency), facile magnetic separation (up to 31.9 emu g?1 of specific saturation magnetization), and good durability (over 98 % of conversion of 4‐NP after ten runs of recyclable catalysis and almost negligible leaching of Au).  相似文献

Functional polymer‐grafting silica nanoparticles hold great promise in diverse applications such as molecule recognition, drug delivery, and heterogeneous catalysis due to high density and uniform distribution of functional groups and their tunable spatial distance. However, conventional grafting methods from monomers mainly consist of one or more extra surface modification steps and a subsequent surface polymerization step. A monomer protonation‐dependent surface polymerization strategy is proposed to achieve one‐step uniform surface grafting of cross‐linked poly(4‐vinylpyridine) (P4VP) onto core–shell Fe3O4@SiO2 nanostructures. At an approximate pH, partially protonated 4VP sites in aqueous solution can be strongly adsorbed onto deprotonated silanol groups ( Si O) onto Fe3O4@SiO2 nanospheres to ensure prior polymerization of these protonated 4VP sites exclusively onto Fe3O4@SiO2 nanoparticles and subsequent polymerization of other 4VP and divinylbenzene monomers harvested by these protonated 4VP monomers onto Fe3O4@SiO2 nanoparticles, thereby achieving direct grafting of cross‐linked P4VP macromolecules onto Fe3O4@SiO2 nanoparticles.  相似文献

A sensitive and selective amperometric H2O2 biosensor was obtained by utilizing the electrodeposition of Pt flowers on iron oxide‐reduced graphene oxide (Fe3O4/rGO) nanocomposite modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The morphology of Fe3O4/rGO and Pt/Fe3O4/rGO was characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), respectively. The step‐wise modification and the electrochemical characteristics of the resulting biosensor were characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and chronoamperometry methods. Thanks to the fast electron transfer at the Pt/Fe3O4/rGO electrode interface, the developed biosensor exhibits a fast and linear amperometric response upon H2O2. The linear range of Pt/Fe3O4/rGO is 0.1∼2.4 mM (R2=0.998), with a sensitivity of 6.875 μA/mM and a detection limit of 1.58 μM (S/N=3). In addition, the prepared biosensor also provides good anti‐interferent ability and long‐term stability due to the favorable biocompatibility of the electrode interface. The proposed sensor will become a reliable and effective tool for monitoring and sensing the H2O2 in complicate environment.  相似文献

An amino‐functionalized silica‐coated Fe3O4 nanocomposite (Fe3O4@SiO2/APTS) was synthesized. The Fe3O4@SiO2 microspheres possessed a well‐defined core–shell structure, uniform sizes and high magnetization. An immobilized ruthenium nanoparticle catalyst (Fe3O4@SiO2/APTS/Ru) was obtained after coordination and reduction of Ru3+ on the Fe3O4@SiO2/APTS nanocomposite. The Ru nanoparticles were not only ultra‐small with nearly monodisperse sizes but also had strong affinity with the surface of Fe3O4@SiO2/APTS. The obtained catalyst exhibited excellent catalytic performance for the hydrogenation of a variety of aromatic nitro compounds, even at room temperature. Moreover, Fe3O4@SiO2/APTS/Ru was easily recovered using a magnetic field and directly reused for at least five cycles without significant loss of its activity.  相似文献

The preparation of Ni@Pd core–shell nanoparticles immobilized on yolk–shell Fe3O4@polyaniline composites is reported. Fe3O4 nanoclusters were first synthesized through the solvothermal method and then the SiO2 shell was coated on the Fe3O4 surface via a sol–gel process. To prepare Fe3O4@SiO2@polyaniline composites, polyvinylpyrrolidone was first grafted on to the surface of Fe3O4@SiO2 composites and subsequently polymerization of aniline was carried out via an ultrasound‐assisted in situ surface polymerization method. Selective etching of the middle SiO2 layer was then accomplished to obtain the yolk–shell Fe3O4@polyaniline composites. The approach uses polyaniline (PANI) conductive polymer as a template for the synthesis of Ni@Pd core–shell nanoparticles. The catalytic activity of the synthesized yolk–shell Fe3O4@PANI/Ni@Pd composite was investigated in the reduction of o‐nitroaniline to benzenediamine by NaBH4, which exhibited conversion of 99% in 3 min with a very low content of the catalyst. Transmission electron microscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, TGA, X‐ray diffraction, UV–visible, scanning electron microscopy, X‐ray energy dispersion spectroscopy and FT‐IR were employed to characterize the synthesized nanocatalyst. Summary: Surface functionalization of Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles (MNP) via living radical graft polymerization with styrene and acrylic acid (AAc) in the reversible addition‐fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT)‐mediated process was reported. Peroxides and hydroperoxides generated on the surface of Fe3O4 nanoparticles via ozone pretreatment facilitated the thermally initiated graft polymerization in the RAFT‐mediated process. A comparison of the MNP before and after the RAFT‐mediated process was carried out using transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Gel permeation chromatography (GPC) was used to determine the molecular weight of the free homopolymer in the reaction mixture. Well‐defined polymer chains were grown from the MNP surfaces to yield particles with a Fe3O4 core and a polymer outer layer. The resulting core–shell Fe3O4g‐polystyrene and Fe3O4g‐poly(acrylic acid) (PAAc) nanoparticles formed stable dispersions in the organic solvents for polystyrene (PS) and PAAc, respectively.

Flowerlike noble‐metal‐free γ‐Fe2O3@NiO core–shell hierarchical nanostructures have been fabricated and examined as a catalyst in the photocatalytic oxidation of water with [Ru(bpy)3](ClO4)2 as a photosensitizer and Na2S2O8 as a sacrificial electron acceptor. An apparent TOF of 0.29 μmols?1 m?2 and oxygen yield of 51 % were obtained with γ‐Fe2O3@NiO. The γ‐Fe2O3@NiO core–shell hierarchical nanostructures could be easily separated from the reaction solution whilst maintaining excellent water‐oxidation activity in the fourth and fifth runs. The surface conditions of γ‐Fe2O3@NiO also remained unchanged after the photocatalytic reaction, as confirmed by X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).  相似文献

A facile and efficient strategy for the synthesis of hierarchical yolk–shell microspheres with magnetic Fe3O4 cores and dielectric TiO2 shells has been developed. Various Fe3O4@TiO2 yolk–shell microspheres with different core sizes, interstitial void volumes, and shell thicknesses have been successfully synthesized by controlling the synthetic parameters. Moreover, the microwave absorption properties of these yolk–shell microspheres, such as the complex permittivity and permeability, were investigated. The electromagnetic data demonstrate that the as‐synthesized Fe3O4@TiO2 yolk–shell microspheres exhibit significantly enhanced microwave absorption properties compared with pure Fe3O4 and our previously reported Fe3O4@TiO2 core–shell microspheres, which may result from the unique yolk–shell structure with a large surface area and high porosity, as well as synergistic effects between the functional Fe3O4 cores and TiO2 shells.  相似文献

The immobilization of sulfonic acid on the surface of Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) as a novel acid nanocatalyst has been successfully reported. The morphological features, thermal stability, magnetic properties, and other physicochemical properties of the prepared superparamagnetic core–shell (Fe3O4@PFBA–Metformin@SO3H) were thoroughly characterized using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), X‐ray diffraction (XRD), energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDS), field‐emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), thermogravimetric analysis–differential thermal analysis (TGA‐DTA), atomic force microscopy (AFM), dynamic light scattering (DLS), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET), and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) techniques. It was applied as an efficient and reusable catalyst for the synthesis of 2‐(piperazin‐1‐yl) quinoxaline and benzimidazole derivatives via a one‐pot multiple‐component cascade reaction under green conditions. The results displayed the excellent catalytic activity of Fe3O4@PFBA–metformin@SO3H as an organic–inorganic hybrid nanocatalyst in condensation and multicomponent Mannich‐type reactions. The easy separation, simple workup, excellent stability, and reusability of the nanocatalyst and quantitative yields of products and short reaction time are some outstanding advantages of this protocol.  相似文献

A novel NiB deposited layered double hydroxide (LDH ) coated ferroferric oxide (Fe3O4 @LDH @NiB ) magnetic core‐shell nanocomposite was successfully fabricated by the combination of coprecipitation and impregnation‐reduction. During the Fe3O4 @LDH preparation, a facile template‐free approach was employed to introduce the LDH shell, which was more efficient than the conventional method for the preparation of mesoporous materials that always needs to introduce and remove templates. The resulted Fe3O4 @LDH has a relatively high surface area and abundant surface hydroxyl group, which can adsorb metal ions, making it favorable to disperse and stabilize the active Ni species, as demonstraed by TEM , XPS , FT‐IR and BET characterizations. Therefore, it exhibited good activity in the selective hydrogenation of cinnamic acid to hydrocinnamic acid with the conversion and selectivity both approaching to 100%. Notably, the obtained Fe3O4 @LDH @NiB can be easily separated by an external magnetic field and recycled eleven times without appreciable loss of its initial catalytic activity.  相似文献

We report a simple process for the synthesis of Fe3O4@SiO2/APTMS (APTMS = 3‐aminopropyltrimethoxysilane) core–shell nanocatalyst support. The new nanocatalyst was prepared by stabilization of Pd(cdha)2 (cdha = bis(2‐chloro‐3,4‐dihydroxyacetophenone)) on the surface of the Fe3O4@SiO2/APTMS support. The structure and composition of this catalyst were characterized using various techniques. An efficient method was developed for the synthesis of a wide variety of biaryl compounds via fluoride‐free Hiyama cross‐coupling reactions of aryl halides with arylsiloxane, with Fe3O4@SiO2/APTMS/Pd(cdha)2 as the catalyst under reaction conditions. This methodology can be performed at 100°C through a simple one‐pot operation using in situ generated palladium nanoparticles. High catalytic activity, quick separation of catalyst from products using an external magnetic field and use of water as green solvent are attributes of this protocol.  相似文献
