Production of new lagochilin derivatives

The tetrahydric alcohol Lgochilin belongs to the 9,13-epoxylabdane series of diterpenoids. It is produced by many species of plants of the Lagochilus genus and can be used as the starting material for the synthesis of new compounds with a broad spectrum of physiological action [1, 2]. Many lagochilin derivatives possess hemostatic (3, 4) and antiviral properties. Lagochilin derivatives with aromatic hydroxaldehydes and naphthaldehydes have been synthesized, and the cytotoxic effects of the compounds synthesized in cell cultures have been studied.Tashkent State University, (fax (3712) 46 24. 42. Synthesis of certain benzylidene derivatives of lagochilin

Methods for preparing certain aromatic acetals of 3,15,16,18-tetrahydroxy-9,13-epoxylabdane are described. The structures of the resulting acetals are confirmed by IR and PMR spectra. Synthesis of lagohirsin by the dehydrogenation of lagochilin and of 3,18-O-isopropyl-idenelagochilin

For the first time oxazolidines are acetylated with ketene, at the nitrogen atom, to give a number of hitherto unknown N-acetyloxazolidines.     

甲壳素乙酰化反应的研究

有关甲壳素的乙酰化已有报导^[1-3],但报导的各种方法在产品性能等方面尚存在不少问题。本文报导在对甲苯磺酸或高氯酸-对甲苯磺酸催化下进行甲壳素乙酰化的新方法;同时,对用单一高氯酸催化的反应作了进一步研究,从而制得了高取代度及较高比浓粘度的乙酰化甲壳素产物。     

Acetylation of nucleosides and acetyl migration

Acetylation of the 2′-OH group predominances over acetylation of the 3′-OH group in derivatives of adenosine, uridine, 3β- -xylosyluracil and 3β- -lyxosyluracil. In each case subsequent equilibrium of the products of acetylation results in a net acetyl migration away from the glycosidic link.
