The structure of the mineral zeunerite (deposits at Rotava near Kraslice, Ore Mountains) was determined. The tetragonal unit cell, having the dimensionsa=7.105Å andc=17.704Å, contains two structure units of Cu(UO2)2(AsO4)28H2O. The space group isP42/nmc. The distribution of the atoms in the unit cell was determined from the Patterson projectionP(vw) and by means of (F 0-F c) synthesis. Meta-Zeunerite has a layer type structure. The sheets [(UO2)(AsO4)] are separated by layers containing the cations (Cu(H2O)4)2+ and molecules of water. The uranium is coordinated octahedrally with six oxygen atoms at distances: U-O1 1.94 Å, U-O2 1.78 Å, U-O3(4) 2.18 Å (4×). The uranyl radical O1-U-O2 is linear. In the tetrahedron AsO4 the interatomic distances are As-O 1.77 Å and the bond angles 102°, 102°, 113° and 113°. Each oxygen atom of the tetrahedron AsO4 is simultaneously bonded to the uranium atom. The bond angle As-O-U is 137°. The layers [(UO2)2(AsO4)] are bonded together by the cations (Cu(H2O)4)2+. The distances Cu-O1 and Cu-O2 are 2.55 and 2.58Å respectively. The structural changes during hydration and dehydration are explaned.

The paper gives the values of the optical constants of thin films of germanium obtained by evaporating germanium in a vacuum onto glass slides in the region of 0·35–0·78 for an index of absorptionk and 0·35–2·5 for refractive indexn. The results are compared with the values obtained by other authors and with the values ofn andk for single crystals. It is shown that these values for thin films and single crystals slightly differ quantitatively but agree fairly well qualitatively, which had not been sufficiently the case in previous papers.

The theory and structure of the temperature image
The paper describes the theory of the formation of a temperature image when there are large temperature differences and introduces the concept of temperature distortion of an image. It also deals with the geometrical distortion of the temperature image by the longitudinal thermal conductivity of the receiver layer and gives a solution of the corresponding differential equation of the temperature image for the case of a general linear line test and general circular concentric test. Equations are derived for the temperature distributions of the temperature images of some optical lineated and circular test objects and their geometrical distortion due to the thermal conductivity of the receiver layer is investigated.

The Hamiltonian of nuclear spin interaction in a ferromagnet is derived by the classical method, which introduces the precession of nuclear spin into the equation of motion for magnetization. From this it is shown that the interaction Hamiltonian also depends on the magnitude and sign of nuclear precession frequency N and the damping constant of ferromagnetic resonance A. The calculation of these parameters makes the Suhl [1] quantum mechanical derivation of the Hamiltonian of nuclear spin interaction in a ferromagnet more accurate. The influence of these parameters on the relaxation timeT 2 is also discussed and is applied to the case of cubic cobalt.

By accurate measurements of the lattice parameter of aluminium, silver and gold by K 1 radiation of copper and cobalt it is proved that the values determined by the radiation of cobalt are systematically lower than those determined by the radiation of copper. A semiquantitative analysis of the influence of spectral asymmetry on the determination of the parameter from X-ray diffraction lines is carried out and it is proved that this influence is defined not only by the index of asymmetry of the emission line but also by the broadening of the corresponding diffraction line. From this analysis it follows that the differences in the parameter measured when using radiation of cobalt and copper, can be explained by the influence of the spectral asymmetry of the emission lines K 1 of these radiations.

The paper is devoted to a study of cyclotron instability ( e) of two opposite beams of electrons from the aspect of the quasilinear effects. For this case of instability the authors evolve the diffusion equation in the velocity space for an averaged distribution function. They estimate the relaxation times , z of the spreading of the distribution function in the velocity space. At the end of the paper, they compare their results with an experiment described by M. The influence of tuning the lasing monochromatic radiation frequency g within the amplification band on the nonlinear response of the semiconductor laser with harmonic modulation of pump current is investigated theoretically. It is established that the principal features of the behavior of the nonlinear amplitude-detuning characteristic (ADC) are determined by the relation between the current modulation frequency m and the main resonance frequency of the laser r. If m r, then with increase in g the response decreases monotonically mainly due to the decrease of its dynamic component. The exception is provided by the spectral regions where peaks on the ADC appear because of the explicitly nonlinear lasing regimes (period doubling, chaos, etc.) When m < r, the resonance conditions for induced oscillations are satisfied only for definite spectral intervals within the amplification band and a dip appears on the low-frequency side of the ADC. With decreasing m, the dip boundary shifts to a more high-frequency region of the band corresponding to smaller local resonance frequencies. The peaks on the ADC corresponding to the radiation period doubling shift to the region of smaller values of g on increase in m.  相似文献

The object of the present paper is to study the MHD effects on the laminar flow of a viscous, incompressible and conducting fluid in an annulus with arbitrary time-varying pressure gradient and arbitrary initial velocity in presence of a radial magnetic field. A contribution to the absorption spectrum of amorphous selenium in the infra-red region
The absorption spectrum of amorphous selenium was measured in the region of 0·6 to 25 on samples of high purity and homogeneity. The absorption bands of amorphous and liquid sulphur were also measured in the same wave-length region. The measurements showed that the absorption bands 13·4 and 20·4 , appearing in the spectrum of amorphous selenium, are its intrinsic absorption bands and are not caused by impurities, as some authors think. The similarity between the infra-red spectra of selenium and sulphur is shown.

The process of the propagation of excitation energy in perturbed dielectric crystals with a weak bond between the atoms having zero permanent dipole moment is studied. It is shown that on certain assumptions this process of propagation can be regarded as the motion of a Frenkel exciton in the electrostatic field of the defect. Frenkel's exciton can be characterized in this case as a neutral polarizable particle having induced dipole moment equal to the change in the induced dipole moment of the crystal during the excitation of one of its atoms.

We give a simplified construction of twist eating configurations, based on a theorem due to Frobenius. A new approximate method for theoretically calculating longitudinal vibration frequencies of isotropic homogeneous rods of square and rectangular cross-section is given. We divide a three-dimensional longitudinal vibration into three one-dimensional ones; the coupling between the principal strains in question is assumed to be linear, similarly as in the static case of simple tension. The coupling between the deformations is realized by variable coupling parameters or depending on the order of vibrations (contrary to Rayleigh's correction where Poisson's ratio is the coupling parameter). These parameters are defined by the condition that the corresponding frequency must be minimized (stationary).Up till now Giebe and Blechschmidt [2] have given the best approximate method of calculation. The series of their calculated frequencies corresponds to the measuredones nearly as well as the frequencies calculated by us. The theory described here, however, contains a richer spectrum of frequencies and at the same time explains the frequencies measured in the range of the so-called dead zone, which is the weak point of Giebe's and Blechschmidt's theory.

The interaction of foils lying in a plane during their activation by thermal neutrons has been calculated. Numerical values of functions are listed, which can be used in calculations, especially for graphite. The interaction was measured in the graphite column of the VVR-S reactor.

Thedc conductivity of amorphous silicon prepared by two successive ion bombardments at different temperatures has been measured as a function of temperature. The results may be expressed in terms of a generalized hopping formula =0 exp [–(T 0/T) n where the parameter set {n,T 0, 0} varies with the irradiation conditions. In particular, the hopping exponent has been found to assume the limiting values ofn1/4 at irradiation temperatures ofT i100 K and ofn1/2 atT i500 K, whereas intermediate values ofn have been observed for temperatures inbetween. It is concluded that thermally activated redistribution processes of radiation defects control the final state of disorder in the irradiated samples, which in turn determines the particular hopping characteristics. Within the framework of existing theories the two limiting cases can be explained to be due to a disordered solid of homogeneous and granular structure, respectively.  相似文献

The theory of double quantum transitions of the M=±2 type, with regard to inhomogeneously broadened spin systems is studied in this paper with the approximation 2T2T3 1. We suppose that the inhomogeneous broadening is formed by an inhomogeneous crystal field. The obtained results describe the magnitude of absorption as a function of the h.f. power and also describe the shape of the absorption curve. It is demonstrated that in inhomogeneously broadened spin systems the absorption curve of double quantum transitions has the form of the difference of two different Lorentz's curves and that at the saturation ( 2T2T1 1) the absorption increases with the cube of the h.f. field intensity. The shape of the curves is expressed by means of phenomenological relaxation constants of the system.

Zusammenfassung Es sind die Versuchsergebnisse des Studiums der Photoerscheinungen bei verschieden bearbeiteten Metallen (Au, Al, Pt) angeführt. Die Metallfolien wurden an der Luft mit UV-Licht bestrahlt und gleichmä\ig erwärmt. Die Ergebnisse wurden vom Gesichtspunkt der neueren Kenntnisse über Adsorption, Katalyse und Oxydation diskutiert. Daraus sind Folgerungen gezogen worden, die in manchen Fällen zu Bedenken über die Klärung der Exo-Emissions-Glow-Kurven zu führen scheinen.
