采用多重散射方法研究二维四方钢/水声子晶体中线源的辐射问题。数值结果表明利用声子晶体ΓΜ方向的第一带边态可以实现声定向辐射。利用文中设计的三角形晶体结构既可以实现声波的单束定向辐射,还能够得到传播方向互相垂直的双束定向辐射。该研究对声子晶体功能器件的设计具有一定的意义。  相似文献

Acoustic emissions were characterized for fourteen, 8 × 8 arrays of axisymmetric supersonic jets experimentally. The nozzle diameters ranged from 3.2 mm (1/8 in.) to 6.4 mm (1/4 in.) and the hole-to-hole spacing (S) over hole diameter (d), or the S/d ratios ranged from 1.44 to 3. The arrays were tested at several net pressure ratios ranging from 2 to 24. It was found that up to a critical net pressure ratio, the arrays radiated ultrasonic frequencies. Beyond this critical net pressure ratio the characteristic frequency decreased to lie within the audible range. Frequency response plots of the sound pressure indicate a broadband frequency peak generated by the turbulent mixing noise of the jet. At lower net pressure ratio (NPR) values, this broadband peak is similar to a single jet within the jet array. However, as the NPR continues to increase this frequency peak shifts to lower values which are similar to a single jet with an equivalent exit area of the entire array. Dimensional analysis revealed that at a critical net pressure ratio a dramatic reduction in the characteristic Strouhal number occurred. A small increase in the characteristic acoustic pressure was also observed at net pressure ratios below the critical net pressure ratio and a larger increase was observed at higher net pressure ratios. The critical net pressure ratio appeared to be a linear function of S/d for the nozzle arrays. A linear curve fit was applied to the measured critical net pressure ratio and this was compared to a theoretical model prediction. The experimental results revealed that the critical net pressure ratio is well predicted by the models.  相似文献

This study investigated the angular control of incident acoustic waves for total transmission and reversed reflection using phononic crystals (PnCs). The Dirac point appears at the Brillouin zone boundary. The position of the Dirac point regularly changes with the length–width ratio of rubber rods, which makes the transmission angle adjustable. These structures could be applied to an acoustical 0 or π phase modulator by adjusting the number of layers of PnCs (even or odd). The angular control in the reflection domain can be achieved by adding a meta-surface at the boundary of the PnC.  相似文献

Manipulation of micro-objects have been playing an essential role in biochemical analysis or clinical diagnostics. Among the diverse technologies for micromanipulation, acoustic methods show the advantages of good biocompatibility, wide tunability, a label-free and contactless manner. Thus, acoustic micromanipulations have been widely exploited in micro-analysis systems. In this article, we reviewed the acoustic micromanipulation systems that were actuated by sub-MHz acoustic waves. In contrast to the high-frequency range, the acoustic microsystems operating at sub-MHz acoustic frequency are more accessible, whose acoustic sources are at low cost and even available from daily acoustic devices (e.g. buzzers, speakers, piezoelectric plates). The broad availability, with the addition of the advantages of acoustic micromanipulation, make sub-MHz microsystems promising for a variety of biomedical applications. Here, we review recent progresses in sub-MHz acoustic micromanipulation technologies, focusing on their applications in biomedical fields. These technologies are based on the basic acoustic phenomenon, such as cavitation, acoustic radiation force, and acoustic streaming. And categorized by their applications, we introduce these systems for mixing, pumping and droplet generation, separation and enrichment, patterning, rotation, propulsion and actuation. The diverse applications of these systems hold great promise for a wide range of enhancements in biomedicines and attract increasing interest for further investigation.  相似文献

The acoustic radiation behavior of a plate with a distributed mass loading is studied. A set of in vacuo normal modes or fluid-loaded undamped normal modes are used for modal analysis of the acoustic radiation from a plate in air or in water. Modal radiation efficiency, modal volume displacement, modal input energy and sound power level are computed to show the effects of size and location of the mass loading on the acoustic radiation of the plate. It is observed that the acoustic radiation behavior of a mode in both cases will have relatively larger changes if the mass loading is placed on an antinode of the mode shape or the mass loading is more concentrated. The acoustic radiation behavior of a mode and the radiated power of the plate in water have less change than those in air with the same mass loading due to the added mass of the water, especially for the first few modes.  相似文献

该文基于声类比法,通过求解FW-H方程,对不同喷口与谐振腔位置关系的Hartmann哨的声场分布进行了分析,计算了不同位置关系的Hartmann哨的声指向性。得到了以下结论:喷口与谐振腔位置关系对Hartmann哨的发声基频几乎不产生影响。对称位置关系的Hartmann哨的声场呈对称趋势,且在垂直于喷流方向上达到最大;非对称位置关系的Hartmann哨不再呈现对称趋势。Hartmann哨的最大声压级随着偏离对称位置的距离的增加有小幅增加,最大声压级出现的方向向着谐振腔方向移动。  相似文献

In the existing acoustic micro-particle delivery methods, the micro-particles always lie and slide on the surface of platform in the whole delivery process. To avoid the damage and contamination of micro-particles caused by the sliding motion, this paper deals with a novel approach to trap micro-particles from non-customized rigid surfaces and freely manipulate them. The delivery process contains three procedures: detaching, transporting, and landing. Hence, the micro-particles no longer lie on the surface, but are levitated in the fluid, during the long range transporting procedure. It is very meaningful especially for the fragile and easily contaminated targets. To quantitatively analyze the delivery process, a theoretical model to calculate the acoustic radiation force exerting upon a micro-particle near the boundary in half space is built. An experimental device is also developed to validate the delivery method. A 100 μm diameter micro-silica bead adopted as the delivery target is detached from the upper surface of an aluminum platform and levitated in the fluid. Then, it is transported along the designated path with high precision in horizontal plane. The maximum deviation is only about 3.3 μm. During the horizontal transportation, the levitation of the micro-silica bead is stable, the maximum fluctuation is less than 1 μm. The proposed method may extend the application of acoustic radiation force and provide a promising tool for microstructure or cell manipulation.  相似文献

建筑物通常留有开口以便人员物料的进出及室内的自然通风采光,但这些开口也是噪声传播的途径。传统被动噪声控制方法需要将开口封闭,且对低频噪声的控制效果不好,故引入有源噪声控制技术降低室内声源通过开口的声辐射。基于惠更斯原理,均布开口的次级源和误差传声器构成的平面型虚拟声屏障可以实现对开口声辐射的有效控制,数值仿真和实验已证明其有效性。将次级源安装在开口边界更有利于保留开口的功能且方便实际安装,但这样的单层边界虚拟声屏障降噪效果存在上限,仅能在低频段实现全局控制。和单层边界次级源相比,双层边界次级源可显著提高降噪量和有效降噪频率上限。该文回顾了开口声辐射有源控制的相关工作,并讨论了未来可能的研究方向。  相似文献

Background and motivation

Previous works investigating the radiation force of diverging spherical progressive waves incident upon spherical particles have demonstrated the direction of reversal of the force when the particle is subjected to a curved wave-front. In this communication, the analysis is extended to the case of diverging cylindrical progressive waves incident upon a rigid or a soft cylinder in a non-viscous fluid with explicit calculations for the radiation force function (which is the radiation force per unit energy density and unit cross-sectional surface) not shown in [F.G. Mitri, Ultrasonics 50 (2010) 620-627].

Method

A closed-form solution presented previously in [F.G. Mitri, Ultrasonics 50 (2010) 620-627] is used to plot the radiation force function with particular emphasis on the difference from the results of incident plane progressive waves versus the size parameter ka (k is the wave number and a is the cylinder’s radius) and the distance of the cylinder from the acoustic source r0.

Results

Radiation force function calculations for the rigid cylinder unexpectedly reveal that under specific conditions determined by the frequency of the acoustic field, the radius of the cylinder, as well as the distance to the acoustic source, the force becomes attractive (negative force). In addition, the numerical results show that the radiation force on a rigid cylinder does not generally obey the inverse-distance law with respect to the distance from the source.

Conclusion and potential applications

These results suggest that it may be possible, under specific conditions, to pull a cylindrical structure back toward the acoustic source using progressive cylindrical diverging waves. They may also provide a means to predict the radiation force required to manipulate non-destructively a single cylindrical structure. Potential applications include the design of a new generation of acoustic tweezers operating using a single beam of progressive waves (in contrast to the traditional version of acoustical tweezers in which an acoustic standing wave field is produced using two counter-propagating acoustic fields) for investigations in the field of flow cytometry, particle manipulation and entrapment.  相似文献

The acoustic radiation force acting on a cylinder near a flat wall in a standing wave is calculated by analytical methods and numerical simulations. An exact theoretical solution is presented as well as an approximate solution. The approximate solution is in algebraic form and quite easy to compute. The numerical simulation is based on FVM (Finite Volume Method) on unstructured triangular meshes. The exact theoretical, approximate and numerical solutions are compared with each other and good agreements are obtained. A high spatial resolution, phase-sensitive Surface Plasmon Resonance(SPR) sensor based on Extraordinary Optical Transmission (EOT) is proposed to monitor the binding of organic and biological molecules to the silver surface. The 2D nanohole-array configuration is well suited ~br dense integration in a sensor chip. The optical geomeWy is collinear, which simplifies the alignment with respect to the traditional Kretschmann arrangement for SPR sensing. Various design parameters of the device have been studied by simulation. The heterodyne technique is used to improve the sensitivity. The optimization results indicate that the sensor has the advantages of achieving high resolution and a wide dynamic range simuhaneously.  相似文献
