Theβ +-decay of 1.4 min159Yb was studied at the YAS-NAPP-2 facility installed on the proton beam of the JINR Dubna phasotron. The singles γ-ray spectra and prompt and delayedγ-γ coincidences were measured on the multidetector system. The decay scheme of159Yb was proposed on the basis of theγ-γ coincidence data. The low lying states of159Tm were preliminary identified within the framework of the rotational model. 相似文献

Theγ-rays following the radioactive decay of160Lu into160Yb have been studied. The Lu source was produced in the144Sm(19F, 3n) reaction at 85 MeV. Excitation functions, half-lives,γ-γ andγ-X-ray coincidences and conversion electrons were measured. Twoβ + decaying states in160Lu were found with half-lives of 36.2(3) s and 40(1) s.160Yb levels deduced from the decay of160Lu are presented. 相似文献

The167Lu source was isolated from products of spallation reaction induced by 660 MeV protons on tantalum target. The direct and the prompt coincidence spectra of gamma rays from the167Lu decay have been studied with different Ge(Li) detectors. Half-lives of several excited states in167Yb have been measured using the delayed coincidence technique. The internal conversion spectra were investigated with Si(Li) detector and with permanent magnet spectrograph as well. The energies and intensities of more than 400 gamma-transitions were determined. The multipolarities of 225 gamma-transitions were established. The proposed decay scheme of the167Lu is based on coincidence measurements, the analysis of energy sums and reaction data. The states in167Yb are interpreted in terms of the unified model. The role of the Coriolis coupling is discussed. 相似文献

The high-spin states of 159Lu were populated by fusion-evaporation reaction 144Sm (19F, 4n) with beam energy 106 MeV. A new level scheme was established, which consists of the yrast band with negative parity, the octupole vibration band based on the states and quasipartical band with positive parity. By a systematic on-line cesium mass separation fromA=122 toA=132 and subsequent gamma and electron decay spectroscopy at very low energy, new isomers have been precisely identified:122m Cs (T 1/2=0.36±0.02 s),124m Cs (T 1/2=6.3±0.2 s) and130m Cs (T 1/2=3.46±0.06 min). Detailed level schemes are given for both124m Cs and130m Cs. Comparison of excited levels known in the odd-odd nuclei of the same region shows that more experimental informations are needed to propose a clear and realistic picture of the nuclear states structure. Radioactivity:122m, 124m, 130m Cs [from La or Ce,3Hexn]-measuredT 1/2,E γ,I γ,E CE ,I CE ,γ-γ-t, γ-ce coinc.; deduced ICC,124, 130Cs deduced levels,J, π. An activity of158Eu was produced by an (n, p) reaction in an enriched gadolinium target by means of 14 MeV neutrons obtained from a SAMES generator. The gamma radiation accompanying the beta decay of158Eu into158Gd was detected by means of a Ge(Li) spectrometer. A 24-level decay scheme was devised and the transition probabilities were analyzed in terms of adiabatic theory and in terms of the theories including band mixing effects. The values of beta radiation intensities obtained from the experiment were compared with theoretical predictions calculated on the basis of the Nilsson model. 相似文献

Excited states in 175Yb, 176Yb and 177Yb were populated via the bombardment of a 176Yb target with a 750 MeV 136Xe beam. Gamma-ray decays from these states were measured with the AFRODITE multi-detector spectrometer. The rotational band
previously assigned to the ground state of 177Yb has been reassigned to the first-excited state of 175Yb. A new rotational band based on the ground state of 177Yb is presented, and the band based on the Kπ = 4- two-quasiparticle state in 176Yb has been identified. Also a candidate for the rotational band based on the Kπ = 8-, T1/2 = 11.4(3) s two-quasiparticle state in 176Yb has been found. Comparisons of gK values derived from in-band branching ratios are consistent with the ν9/2+[624] assignment to the ground state of 177Yb, the ν2{9/2+[624] ⊗ 1/2-[510]} assignment to the Kπ = 4- state and with the ν2{9/2+[624] ⊗ 7/2-[514]} assignment to the Kπ = 8- metastable excited state in 176Yb. 相似文献

Very neutron-deficient isotopes in the trans-tin region were produced by reactions of 290 MeV 58Ni ions on 58Ni targets, and studied by on-line mass separation at GSI. Twelve α-emitters — 107–110Te, 110–113I, 111–113Xe, 114Cs — were identified. Systematics of Qα values and reduced α-widths for this new island of α-emission are discussed. 相似文献

Two new neutron-deficient isotopes207,208Ac have been produced in fusion reactions with 5.2–5.6 MeV/nucleon40Ar ions on175Lu and identified on the basis of genetic correlations. The fusion evaporation products were separated on-line using a gas-filled magnetic recoil separator. The alpha energy and half-life of208Ac were determined to be (7572±15) keV and (95 ?16 +24 ) ms, respectively. A new alpha line with a half-life of (25 ?5 +9 ) ms and an energy of (7758±20) keV is assigned to the decay of an isomeric state in208Ac. Another new activity with a half-life of (22 ?9 +40 ) ms and an alpha energy of (7712±25) keV is assigned to207Ac. 相似文献

Neutron-deficient osmium and rhenium isotopes were produced by bombarding an enriched144Sm target with beams of27Al and28Si. Previously reported decay data concerning168,169,170Os were confirmed. Three newα groups, observed in the144Sm+27Al reaction, were assigned to the decay of166,167,168Re based on excitation functions,α-energy systematics and theoretical half-life predictions. Their decay properties are: $$\begin{gathered} {}^{166}\operatorname{Re} , E_\alpha = 5,372 (10) keV, T_{1/2} = 2.8 (3) s; \hfill \\ {}^{167}\operatorname{Re} , E_\alpha = 5,136 (8) keV, T_{1/2} = 6.1 (2) s and \hfill \\ {}^{168}\operatorname{Re} , E_\alpha = 4,894 (10) keV, T_{1/2} = 6.9 (8) s. \hfill \\ \end{gathered}$$ It is proposed that twoα groups, observed in the144Sm+28Si reaction, originate from isomeric states in168,169Re. Our measured data for the isomeric states are: $$\begin{gathered} {}^{168m}\operatorname{Re} , E_\alpha = 5,250 (10) keV, T_{1/2} = 6.6 (15) s and \hfill \\ {}^{169m}\operatorname{Re} , E_\alpha = 5,050 (10) keV, T_{1/2} = 12.9 (11) s. \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$ 相似文献

In fusion evaporation reactions of a92Mo beam with targets of neutron deficient Rb — Mo isotopes very neutron deficient isotopes of elements between Au and Po have been produced. The new isotopes173, 174Au,175, 176Hg, and179Tl were identified by alpha spectroscopy. The mass excess value of176Hg could be linked to known values of theN?Z=16 chain. The location of the new isotopes with respect to the proton drip line is discussed. A new high energyα transition of (7.20±0.02) MeV andT 1/2=(1.4±0.5) ms has been found in the reaction92Mo+89Y→181Tl* at an excitation energy of 37 MeV. It is tentatively assigned to isotopes produced in 2-particle evaporation channels. 相似文献

β values of the neutron-rich isotopes of 160-165Eu and 163Gd were measured for the first time using a total absorption bismuth germanate (BGO) detector, and previously obtained data
on 158, 159Pm , 159, 161Sm and 166Tb were re-analyzed. These radioactive sources were prepared by an on-line mass separator (Tokai-ISOL) following the 238U (p,f reaction. The deduced Q
β values are the following: 6085(80)keV for 158Pm , 3805(65)keV for 159Sm , 5460(140)keV for 159Pm , 4705(60)keV for 160Eu , 5065(130)keV for 161Sm , 3705(60)keV for 161Eu , 5575(60)keV for 162Eu , 4690(70)keV for 163Eu , 3170(70)keV for 163Gd , 6430(70)keV for 164Eu , 5800(120)keV for 165Eu , and 4695(70)keV for 166Tb . Moreover, the deduced mass excesses and two-neutron separation energies ( S

The alpha particle energy Eα and the half-life T1/2 of an isomeric state of the new isotope, 203mRa, have been determined to be (7615±20) keV and (33 ?10 +22 ), respectively. An assignment of another decay with Eα = (7577±20) keV and T1/2 = (1.1 ?0.5 +5.0 ) ms to 203g Ra is made on the basis of one observed three-decay chain. Tentative evidence for the production of the new isotope 202Ra is also given. The values Eα = (7860±60) keV and T1/2 = (0.7 ?0.3 +3.3 ) ms were measured. Improved decay data have been obtained for 204Ra. The results are Eα = (7484±10) keV and T1/2 = (59 ?9 +12 ). Earlier findings concerning the decay of two states in 205Ra and an isomer in 207Ra have been confirmed. Approximate values for cross sections have been determined for 202Ra, produced using the 36Ar + 170Yb reaction and for 203Ra, 204Ra, and 205Ra using the 35Cl + 175Lu reaction.
