The sharpness of the backbending associated with a two-band crossing is shown to be an oscillating function of the degree of shell filling in a particle-rotor model that includes an exact treatment of the two-body recoil term. Both the even-and the odd-nucleon cases are considered. A detailed comparison is made with the cranking model, and also the physical implications of the results are discussed.  相似文献

Dynamic cluster Monte Carlo calculations for the doped two-dimensional Hubbard model are used to study the irreducible particle-particle vertex responsible for dx2-y2 pairing in this model. This vertex increases with increasing momentum transfer and decreases when the energy transfer exceeds a scale associated with the Q=(pi, pi) spin susceptibility. Using an exact decomposition of this vertex into a fully irreducible two-fermion vertex and charge and magnetic exchange channels, the dominant part of the effective pairing interaction is found to come from the magnetic, spin S=1 exchange channel.  相似文献

A model has been proposed in which the ab initio effective pairing interaction in atomic nuclei is supplemented by a small phenomenological term containing one parameter universal for all intermediate-mass and heavy nuclei. The neutron and proton pairing gaps have been calculated for several chains of semimagic nuclei; these calculations demonstrate the applicability of this model.  相似文献

A two-band Hubbard model for highly hybridized copper 3d(x 2y 2) and oxygen 2p(x,y) electrons in CuO2 plane with strong Coulomb repulsion at copper sites is considered. A real-space pairing mechanism induced by antiferromagnetic interaction of Kondo type is treated. To avoid the Gutzwiller approximation the projection technique for two-time Green functions for Hubbard operators is employed. It is shown that due to rigorous restriction of no double occupancy at copper sites the exchange-mediatedp-d pairing with a site-independent gap function isabsent.  相似文献

The particle-rotor model using strong coupling basis functions is briefly reviewed. Recent developments are discussed. For example, a formalism for odd-odd nuclei (and negative parity states in even nuclei) is presented. With a standard neutron-proton interaction, measured spins and moments of transitional and deformed Ho nuclei are used to extract their main configurations. Total energy calculations in the (ε, ψ)-plane based on the particle-rotor model are presented for185Au.  相似文献

Theoretical calculations have been performed for the ν9/2+[624](i 13/2) and ν7/2[503]( f 7/2) bands of 185Pt in the framework of particle-rotor model. The band properties of signature splitting and configuration mixing have been analyzed. The level energy and signature splitting before the band crossing can be well interpreted by introducing triaxiality. The positive-parity yrast band is proposed to be dominated by the ν9/2+[624](i 13/2) component, while the negative-parity band shows strong mixing of ν7/2[503](f 7/2) and ν9/2[505](h 9/2) configurations.

Scanning tunneling spectroscopy has recently discovered a positive correlation between the magnitude of the superconducting gap and positions of dopant oxygen atoms in Bi-based cuprates. We propose a microscopic mechanism that could be responsible for this effect. In particular, we demonstrate that the dopant-induced spatial variation of the atomic levels always enhances the superexchange interaction.  相似文献

Using the particle-hole version of the density-matrix renormalization-group technique, the pairing correlation and the quantum entanglement of the reduced BCS pairing model are investigated. Both of them behave smoothly from the weak to the strong coupling regimes. A convergence radius (∼1/ln Ω) of condensation energy is detected by the first order derivative of the block-block entanglement. Furthermore, the block-block entanglement in the strong coupling regime shows distinct size dependence, and a logarithmic volume law is suggested numerically.  相似文献

The algebraic approach to the theory of collective motion is applied to the pairing interaction with two or three non-degenerate levels of arbitrary degeneracy each. A closed set of non-linear algebraic equations for observables referring to the lowest-lying levels of even nuclei is derived from the relevant quasispin algebra and from the equations of motion. Number conservation and blocking can both be taken into account. The solutions agree remarkably well with exact solutions even for small systems.  相似文献

Special attention is paid to the dynamical aspects of the pairing degree of freedom, as revealed by two-nucleon transfer reactions.
