Equilibrium Problems with Applications to Eigenvalue Problems

In this paper, we consider equilibrium problems and introduce the concept of (S)₊ condition for bifunctions. Existence results for equilibrium problems with the (S)₊ condition are derived. As special cases, we obtain several existence results for the generalized nonlinear variational inequality studied by Ding and Tarafdar (Ref. 1) and the generalized variational inequality studied by Cubiotti and Yao (Ref. 2). Finally, applications to a class of eigenvalue problems are given.     

Vector Variational Inequalities and the (S)<Subscript>+</Subscript> Condition

Let $${\cal Z}$$ and X be Hausdorff real topological vector spaces and let $${\cal L}_b(X,{\cal Z})$$ be the space of continuous linear mappings from X into $${\cal Z}$$ equipped with the topology of bounded convergence. In this paper, we define the (S)₊ condition for operators from a nonempty subset of X into $${\cal L}_b(X,{\cal Z})$$ and derive some existence results for vector variational inequalities with operators of the class (S)₊. Some applications to vector complementarity problems are given.     

System of Vector Equilibrium Problems and Its Applications

In this paper, we introduce a system of vector equilibrium problems andprove the existence of a solution. As an application, we derive someexistence results for the system of vector variational inequalities. We alsoestablish some existence results for the system of vector optimizationproblems, which includes the Nash equilibrium problem as a special case.     

Existence of a Solution and Variational Principles for Vector Equilibrium Problems

In this paper, we prove an existence result for a solution to the vector equilibrium problems. Then, we establish variational principles, that is, vector optimization formulations of set-valued maps for vector equilibrium problems. A perturbation function     

From Scalar to Vector Equilibrium Problems in the Quasimonotone Case

In a unified approach, existence results for quasimonotone vector equilibrium problems and quasimonotone (multivalued) vector variational inequality problems are derived from an existence result for a scalar equilibrium problem involving two (rather than one) quasimonotone bifunctions. The results in the vector case are not only obtained in a new way, but they are also stronger versions of earlier existence results.     

Existence Results for Primal and Dual Generalized Vector Equilibrium Problems With Applications to Generalized Semi-Infinite Programming

In this paper, we introduce several kinds of maximal pseudomonotonicity and establish existence theorems of maximal pseudomonotonicity. From these results we establish the existence theorems of generalized vector equilibrium problems. We establish existence theorems of generalized vector semi-infinite programming, as applications of generalized vector equilibrium problems. Characterizations of Solutions for Vector Equilibrium Problems

In this paper, we characterize the solutions of vector equilibrium problems as well as dual vector equilibrium problems. We establish also vector optimization problem formulations of set-valued maps for vector equilibrium problems and dual vector equilibrium problems, which include vector variational inequality problems and vector complementarity problems. The set-valued maps involved in our formulations depend on the data of the vector equilibrium problems, but not on their solution sets. We prove also that the solution sets of our vector optimization problems of set-valued maps contain or coincide with the solution sets of the vector equilibrium problems.     

On Efficiency Conditions for Nonsmooth Vector Equilibrium Problems with Equilibrium Constraints

In this article, necessary conditions of Fritz John type for weak efficient solutions of a nonsmooth vector equilibrium problem involving equilibrium constraints (VEPEC) in terms of the Clarke subdifferentials are established. Under constraint qualifications which are suitable for (VEPEC), necessary conditions of Kuhn-Tucker type for efficiency are derived. Under assumptions on generalized convexity of data, sufficient conditions for efficiency are developed. Some applications to vector variational inequalities and vector optimization problems with equilibrium constraints are also given.     

Gap Functions and Existence of Solutions for a System of Vector Equilibrium Problems

In this paper, a gap function for a system of vector equilibrium problems is introduced and studied. Some necessary and sufficient conditions for the system of vector equilibrium problems are established. Characterizations of the solutions set for the system of vector equilibrium problems are also derived. Furthermore, some existence results of solutions for the system of vector equilibrium problems are proved. The Study of KKM Theorems With Applications to Vector Equilibrium Problems and Implict Vector Variational Inequalities Problems

In this paper, we establish some equivalence relations between coincidence theorems and KKM-type theorems. We also obtain some new coincidence theorems and fixed point theorems. Applying the KKM-type theorems we obtain the existence theorems of generalized vector equilibrium problems. From these results, some existence theorems of generalized vector implicit variational inequality problems are established in this paper.     

Systems of Simultaneous Generalized Vector Quasiequilibrium Problems and their Applications

In this paper, we introduce systems of simultaneous generalized vector equilibrium problems and prove the existence of their solutions. As application of our results, we derive the existence theorems for solutions of systems of vector saddle–point problems. Consequently, we prove the existence of a solution of systems of generalized minimax inequalities. Further application of our results is also given to establish the existence of a solution of a Debreu-type equilibrium problem for vector-valued functions. Vector Equilibrium Problems Under Asymptotic Analysis

Given a closed convex set K in Rⁿ; a vector function F:K×K R^m; a closed convex (not necessarily pointed) cone P(x) in ^m with non-empty interior, PP(x) Ø, various existence results to the problemfind xK such that F(x,y)- int P(x) y K under P(x)-convexity/lower semicontinuity of F(x,) and pseudomonotonicity on F, are established. Moreover, under a stronger pseudomonotonicity assumption on F (which reduces to the previous one in case m=1), some characterizations of the non-emptiness of the solution set are given. Also, several alternative necessary and/or sufficient conditions for the solution set to be non-empty and compact are presented. However, the solution set fails to be convex in general. A sufficient condition to the solution set to be a singleton is also stated. The classical case P(x)=^m ₊ is specially discussed by assuming semi-strict quasiconvexity. The results are then applied to vector variational inequalities and minimization problems. Our approach is based upon the computing of certain cones containing particular recession directions of K and F.     

On Optimality Conditions for Henig Efficiency and Superefficiency in Vector Equilibrium Problems

Abstract

Necessary optimality conditions for local Henig efficient and superefficient solutions of vector equilibrium problems involving equality, inequality, and set constraints in Banach space with locally Lipschitz functions are established under a suitable constraint qualification via the Michel–Penot subdifferentials. With assumptions on generalized convexity, necessary conditions for Henig efficiency and superefficiency become sufficient ones. Some applications to vector variational inequalities and vector optimization problems are given as well.     

Existence Theorems of Simultaneous Equilibrium Problems and Generalized Vector Quasi-Saddle Points

In this paper, we establish the existence theorems of simultaneous equilibrium problems. As consequences of our results, we establish the existence theorem of simultaneous mathematical programs and equilibrium problems and the existence theorems of generalized vector quasi-saddle point problems.     

Semicontinuity of Solution Mappings of Parametric Generalized Vector Equilibrium Problems

In this paper, we study the ε-generalized vector equilibrium problem (ε-GVEP) and the ε-extended vector equilibrium problem (ε-EVEP), which can be regarded as approximate problems to the generalized vector equilibrium problems (GVEP). Existence results for ε-GVEP and ε-EVEP are established. We investigate also the continuity of the solution mappings of ε-GVEP and ε-EVEP. In particular, two results concerning the lower semicontinuity of the solution mappings of ε-GVEP and ε-EVEP are presented. This research was partially supported by Grant NSC 95-2811-M-110-010.

The (<Emphasis Type="Italic">S</Emphasis>)<Subscript>+</Subscript> condition on generalized variational inequalities

In this paper, we derive some existence results for generalized variational inequalities associated with mappings satisfying the (S)₊ condition. The relation between the (S)₊ and (S)₊¹ conditions is discussed. As an application, we also consider multivalued complementarity problems associated with mappings satisfying the (S)₊ condition, and prove a theorem to characterize the solvability of such problems in terms of exceptional families of elements.

隐式形式多值向量均衡问题解的存在性

考虑一类隐式形式多值向量均衡问题的解的存在性,该类问题包含了多值均衡问题、隐式向量均衡问题、多值变分不等式问题、向量变分不等式问题以及向量互补问题作为其特殊情形.利用广义Fan-Browder不动点定理,得到了拓扑向量空间中该类问题解的存要性定理,该结果推广并统一了已有问题解的存在性结果.
