New, gauge-independent, second-order Lagrangian for the motion of classical, charged test particles is proposed. It differs from the standard, gauge-dependent, first-order Lagrangian by boundary terms only. A new method of deriving equations of motion from field equations is developed. When applied to classical electrodynamics, this method enables us to obtain unambiguously the above, second-order Lagrangian from the general energy-momentum conservation principle.  相似文献

基于耦合流体力学方程组,分别研究了各向同性和各向异性轴对称势阱下Bardeen-CooperSchrieffer–Bose-Einstein condensate(BCS-BEC)渡越过程中超流费米气体的Efimovian膨胀.当费米气体处于幺正极限,体系标度不变,气体膨胀尺寸展现出一系列平台结构,气体的演化由对数周期函数描述;当费米气体处于非幺正极限超流区域,体系标度不变性破缺,气体的演化偏离对数周期变化;另外我们还发现对于各向异性的费米气体,即使处于幺正极限,谐振子势的各向异性也会导致体系标度不变性破缺.  相似文献

<正>It is difficult to obtain exact solutions of the nonlinear partial differential equations(PDEs) due to their complexity and nonlinearity,especially for non-integrable systems.In this paper,some reasonable approximations of real physics are considered,and the invariant expansion is proposed to solve real nonlinear systems.A simple invariant expansion with quite a universal pseudopotential is used for some nonlinear PDEs such as the Korteweg-de Vries(KdV) equation with a fifth-order dispersion term,the perturbed fourth-order KdV equation,the KdV-Burgers equation,and a Boussinesq-type equation.  相似文献

The history of the Universe after its first second is now tested by high quality observations of light element abundances and temperature anisotropies of the cosmic microwave background. The epoch of the first second itself has not been tested directly yet; however, it is constrained by experiments at particle and heavy ion accelerators. Here I attempt to describe the epoch between the electroweak transition and the primordial nucleosynthesis. The most dramatic event in that era is the quark‐hadron transition at 10 μs. Quarks and gluons condense to form a gas of nucleons and light mesons, the latter decay subsequently. At the end of the first second, neutrinos and neutrons decouple from the radiation fluid. The quark‐hadron transition and dissipative processes during the first second prepare the initial conditions for the synthesis of the first nuclei. As for the cold dark matter (CDM), WIMPs (weakly interacting massive particles) – the most popular candidates for the CDM – decouple from the presently known forms of matter, chemically (freeze‐out) at 10 ns and kinetically at 1 ms. The chemical decoupling fixes their present abundances and dissipative processes during and after thermal decoupling set the scale for the very first WIMP clouds.  相似文献

In this article we describe a model of the universe consisting of a mixture of the ordinary matter and a so-called cosmic quaternionic field. The basic idea here consists in an attempt to interpret as the energy density of the quaternionic field whose source is any form of energy including the proper energy density of this field. We set the energy density of this field to and show that the ratio of ordinary dark matter energy density assigned to is constant during the cosmic evolution. We investigate the interaction of the quaternionic field with the ordinary dark matter and show that this field exerts a force on the moving dark matter which might possible create the dark matter in the early universe. Such determined fulfils the requirements asked from the dark energy. In this model of the universe, the cosmological constant, the fine-tuning and the age problems might be solved. Finally, we sketch the evolution of the universe with the cosmic quaternionic field and show that the energy density of the cosmic quaternionic field might be a possible candidate for the dark energy.  相似文献

The behaviour of orbits of the action of the group of smooth gauge transformations on connections for a principal bundle P(M, G) is discussed with and without compactness assumption on M and G. The new millennium will see the upcoming of several ground-based interferometric gravitational wave antennas. Within the next decade a space-based antenna may also begin to observe the distant Universe. These gravitational wave detectors will together operate as a network taking data continuously for several years, watching the transient and continuous phenomena occurring in the deep cores of astronomical objects and dense environs of the early Universe where gravity was extremely strong and highly nonlinear. The network will listen to the waves from rapidly spinning non-axisymmetric neutron stars, normal modes of black holes, binary black hole inspiral and merger, phase transitions in the early Universe, quantum fluctuations resulting in a characteristic background in the early Universe. The gravitational wave antennas will open a new window to observe the dark Universe unreachable via other channels of astronomical observations.  相似文献

We discuss the formation of matter structures in the Universe, and show that spherical Higgs bosonic membranes were possibly produced homogeneously in the early Universe and expanded rapidly. After a period of evolution, the composition of the membranes began to change, the massive particles replaced the imaginary Higgs bosons through the Higgs mechanism, while the energy came from the Universe expansion. After that, the membranes reduced their speed and broke into pieces, which became the seeds of matter structures. It is proven that microscopic principles may affect the formation of large-scale structures, and the formation of structures such as cosmic foam is also possible.  相似文献

用梁王山宇宙线观测站的数据研究宇宙线大气簇射μ子定点密度谱,谱呈现明显的拐折.通过MonteCarlo模拟,得到拐点对应的能量约为1.7×1015eV,拐点前后原初能谱指数差约为0.43,证实了KASCADE实验μ子定点密度谱呈现拐折的首次观测结果,又一次推证了原初宇宙线能谱膝的存在.  相似文献

The cosmic microwave background is the most precise and the most simple cosmological dataset. This makes it our most prominent window to the physics of the very early Universe. In this article I give an introduction to the physics of the cosmic microwave background and show in some detail how primordial fluctuations from inflation are imprinted in the temperature anisotropy and polarisation spectrum of the CMB. I discuss the main signatures that are suggesting an inflationary phase for the generation of initial fluctuations.  相似文献

Some aspects of the geometry of gauge theories are sketched in this review. We deal essentially with Yang-Mills theory, discussing the structure of the space of gauge orbits and the geometrical interpretation of ghosts and anomalies. Occasionally we deal also with classical gauge theories of gravitation and in particular we study the action of the group of diffeomorphisms on the space of linear connections. 仔细分析了近年来怀柔广延大气簇射阵列记录的65万个大气簇射事例,得到了簇射Size(即荷电总粒子数)谱和1015—5×1016eV能段的初级宇宙线微分能谱.此谱呈明显的、平滑过渡的“膝”样结构,拐点在3×1015eV附近.除了“膝”较平滑不象明野谱那样尖锐拐折而外,怀柔谱在绝对流强和“膝”的位置上都与日本明野组吻合得很好.在银河磁场刚度截止模型框架下,怀柔实验Size谱界定的宇宙线质子谱拐折能量Ec的取值范围在160到240TeV之间.  相似文献

A proposal for a fundamental theory is described in which classical and quantum physics as a representation of the universe as a gigantic dendrogram are unified. The latter is the explicate order structure corresponding to the purely number-theoretical implicate order structure given by p-adic numbers. This number field was zero-dimensional, totally disconnected, and disordered. Physical systems (such as electrons, photons) are sub-dendrograms of the universal dendrogram. Measurement process is described as interactions among dendrograms; in particular, quantum measurement problems can be resolved using this process. The theory is realistic, but realism is expressed via the the Leibniz principle of the Identity of Indiscernibles. The classical-quantum interplay is based on the degree of indistinguishability between dendrograms (in which the ergodicity assumption is removed). Depending on this degree, some physical quantities behave more or less in a quantum manner (versus classic manner). Conceptually, our theory is very close to Smolin’s dynamics of difference and Rovelli’s relational quantum mechanics. The presence of classical behavior in nature implies a finiteness of the Universe-dendrogram. (Infinite Universe is considered to be purely quantum.) Reconstruction of events in a four-dimensional space type is based on the holographic principle. Our model reproduces Bell-type correlations in the dendrogramic framework. By adjusting dendrogram complexity, violation of the Bell inequality can be made larger or smaller.  相似文献

A Dale-Eisinger style analysis (R. E. Daleet al., Biophys. J. 26, 161, 1979) is used to produce three-dimensional plots that display the limits on the average orientation factor k 2 that is required to calculate molecular distances in F-actin from fluorescence resonance energy transfer measurements. Maxima and minima plots are generated for the transfer of energy from a donor to a single acceptor and for transfer to multiple acceptors that are related by F-actin helical symmetry. The analysis is performed in terms of dipole cone half-angles rather than depolarization factors, in order to facilitate the modeling of the multiple acceptor problem. Calculations are carried out under the restrictive condition of a single electric dipole moment per fluorophore. In addition, both surface and volume averaging of the donor and acceptor dipoles are considered. Comparisons between the plots show that for the multiple acceptor cases with F-actin symmetry, there is a great reduction in the range for maxima and minima limits on k 2. The calculations also suggest guidelines for the choice of fluorescence label that will result in an average orientation factor occurring within acceptable limits, i.e., inside the limits for which k 2=2/3 may be employed. Thus, without having detailed knowledge of the mean donor or acceptor dipole relative orientations, the use of k 2=2/3 in radial coordinate studies of F-actin is more than reasonable and is fairly assured of being correct.  相似文献

寻找特殊的、未知的天体是人类探索宇宙奥妙所追求的目标之一,天体光谱数据挖掘是实现该目标的一种有效方法。约束概念格是一种新的概念格结构,具有构造效率高、提取知识针对性和实用性强等特点。针对天体光谱数据在特征子空间中的局部偏离,采用VC++ 6.0和Oracle 9i作为开发工具,设计与实现了基于约束概念格的天体光谱局部离群数据挖掘系统,并对软件模块功能和体系结构,以及天体光谱数据预处理、约束概念格构造方法、基于链表结构的概念格构造、局部离群数据挖掘方法等关键技术进行了详细描述。运行结果表明,该系统实现天体光谱数据局部离群数据挖掘是可行的、有价值的,从而为寻找未知的、特殊的天体提供了一种新途径。  相似文献
