Hydrogen permeability through diaphragms made of 12X18H12T stainless steel and Pd60Ag40 alloy under electrolytic hydrogen saturation has been studied with an electrolytic cell with a vacuum chamber. Hydrogen diffusion constants D H = 3.86 × 10−10 cm2 s−1 for stainless steel and D H = 4.36 × 10−8 cm2 s−1 for Pd60Ag40 alloy have been determined at a temperature of 40°C using the Berrer relations.  相似文献

IR spectra of BeSO4.4H2O and its deuterated analogue at ∼300 K and ∼110 K are reported in the region 4000–1200 cm−1 using thin film and nujol mull techniques. The observed bands have been assigned as the internal modes of the water and the overtones and combinations of various modes using the recently revised assignments of SO4 2− and Be(aq)4 fundamentals in the region 1200–250 cm−1 (Srivastavaet al 1976). The splitting of the internal modes of water has been discussed in the light of the effects of deuteration and cooling and it is shown that all the water molecules in a unit cell are asymmetric but crystallographically equivalent.  相似文献

We used the spin-Hamiltonian method for the analysis of the electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectrum of Fe3+ as a probe ion in (NH4)2AlF5·H2O single crystalline basic material. The theoretical expressions for the magnetic field (at which the fine structure transition lines appear) versus the angle between the magnetic field and the axis of symmetry of the magnetic complex are also given. These values were calculated by applying the perturbation theory to the second-order terms. From the experimental results (at 300 K and 9.21 GHz), the spin-Hamiltonian parameters were deduced:D=(668±10)·10−4 T,E=(−56±10)·10−4 T,a=(−54±10)·10−4 T,F=(30±10)·10−4 T. An isotropic superhyperfine structure was evidenced for the five fluorine ions. The obtained EPR data were used to determine the local symmetry of the Al3+ ion. A good agreement with X-ray diffraction measurements was found.  相似文献

Fourier transform infra red reflection–absorption spectroscopy (FTIR-RAS), thermal desorption spectroscopy (TDS), and auger electron spectroscopy (AES), were employed to explore the mechanism of NO reduction in the presence of C2H4 on the surface of stepped Pt(3 3 2). Both NO–Pt and C2H4–Pt interactions are enhanced when NO and C2H4 are co-adsorbed on Pt(3 3 2). As a result, C2H4 is dissociated at surface temperatures as low as 150 K, and the N–O stretch band is weakened. The presence of post-exposed C2H4 leads NO desorption from steps to decrease significantly, but the same effect on NO desorption from terraces becomes appreciable only at higher post-exposures of C2H4, e.g., 0.6 L and 1.2 L, and proceeds to a much slighter extent. Auger spectra indicate that as a result of the reaction with O from NO dissociation, the amount of surface C species is greatly reduced when NO is post-exposed to a C2H4 adlayer. It is concluded that reduction of NO in the presence of C2H4 proceeds very effectively on the surface of the Pt(3 3 2), through a mechanism of NO dissociation and subsequent O removal. Following this mechanism, the significant dissociation of adsorbed NO molecules on steps at surface temperatures below 400 K, and subsequent rapid reaction between the resultant O and C-related species, accounts for the considerable amount of N2 desorption at temperatures below 400 K.  相似文献

Infrared absorption and Raman study ofβ-Ni(OH)2 has been carried out up to 25 GPa and 33 GPa, respectively. The frequency ofA 2u internal antisymmetric stretching O-H mode decreases linearly with pressure at a rate of −0.7 cm1/GPa. The FWHM of this mode increases continuously with pressure and reaches a value of ∼ 120 cm−1 around 25 GPa. There was no discernible change observed in the frequency and width of the symmetric stretchingA 1g O-H Raman mode up to 33 GPa. The constancy of the Raman mode is taken as a signature of the repulsion produced by H-H contacts in this material under pressure. Lack of any discontinuity in these modes suggests that there is no phase transition in this material in the measured pressure range.  相似文献

Summary In order to clarify the effect of 13 GHz microwave irradiation upon model membranes, vibrational Raman spectroscopy was performed for multilamellar dispersions of dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine, before and after irradiation. Raman spectra of the phospholipid dispersions were recorded for the C−H ((2800⊢3100)cm−1) and the C−C ((1050⊢1150)cm−1) stretching modes, above the transition temperatureT m of the phospholipid, before and after microwave irradiation. An intensity comparison between the irradiated and nonirradiated sample revealed an increase in the intensity ratioI 2930/I 2880 and a small perturbation in the C−C stretching region, induced by microwaves. It seems reasonable to assume that microwave irradiation brings about a change in lateral chain-chain interactions, which is possibly due to induced changes at bilayer curvature.  相似文献

Raman spectra from the first Ti fullerene complex Cp 2Ti(η2-C60) · C6H5CH3 are presented. Compared to spectra of pure C60, the spectra of the Ti complex exhibit a number of new peaks due to the symmetry lowering for C60. The A g(2) mode is downshifted by 12 cm−1 compared to C60, which corresponds to a charge transfer of one electron per Ti-C60 bond. This value (6 cm−1 for one transferred electron) is identical to the downshift of the A g(2) mode in alkali metal fullerides with ionic bonding. The spectra of Cp 2Ti(η2-C60) · C6H5CH3 were compared to the spectra of evaporated TixC60 films. The A g(2) mode in Ti4C60 showed a downshift of about 25 cm−1 compared to pure C60, which corresponds to a charge transfer of one electron per Ti atom; this is similar to the ionic alkali metal fullerides and different from η2-C60-type bonding. Europium oxide (Eu2O3) substituted compound has been prepared by solid-solid reaction of the powders of Eu2O3, BaCO3 and CuO at 950°C for 16 hours. The thin films have been deposited by high vacuum evaporation technique (vacuum ≈ 10−6 torr). The variation of current (I) with voltage (V) at room temperature (RT) i.e. 294 K and in ice (273 K) are found to be linear. The variation of electrical resistivity (ρ) with temperature (T) by heating the sample above RT has been determined. Resistivity is found to decrease with increase in temperature. Further the variation of electrical resistivity (ρ) with temperature (T) from 77 K, liquid nitrogen temperature (LNT), to 270 K has also been determined. It is observed that resistivity suddenly becomes zero at around 87 K. Thus the prepared material has superconducting properties with superconducting transition temperature, T c at 87 K.   相似文献

We present the first Chandra X-ray observations of the H2O megamaser galaxy Mrk1210 (UGC4203), a Seyfert 2 galaxy at an approximate distance of D ∼ 57.6 Mpc. The Chandra X-ray image, with by far the highest angular resolution (∼1″), displays an unresolved compact core toward the nuclear region of Mrk1210. Comparisons with the previous X-ray observations in the nuclear emission and the spectral shape indicate a fairly stable phase between 2001 (BeppoSAX and XMM-Newton) and 2004 (Chandra) after a dramatic variation since 1995 (ASCA). The best-fit model of Chandra X-ray spectrum consists of two components. The soft scattered component can be best fitted by a moderately absorbed power-law model adding a spectral line at ∼0.9 keV (possibly a Ne-Kα fluorescent line), while the hard nuclear component can be well reproduced by a heavily absorbed power-law model (N H ∼ 2×1023 cm−2) with an additional line at ∼6.19 keV (close to the Fe-Kα fluorescent line). The derived absorption-corrected X-ray luminosity implies that the dramatic variation of spectral properties is caused by significant changes of the absorbing column density along the line-of-sight, while the intrinsic nuclear X-ray luminosity remains stable. In this case, the absorbers should be anisotropic and its size can be constrained to be less than 0.0013 pc. In addition, we also estimate the mass of central engine, the disk radius and the accretion rate of the accretion disk to be 107.12±0.31 M , ∼1 pc and 0.006, respectively. A computer-aided optoacoustic gas analyzer based on a continuous13C16C2 laser for multicomponent pollution of atmospheric air is described. The analyzer has the ability to detect absorption of radiation by detected substances at the level of ∼1·10−9 cm−1 at a time resolution of 30 sec. We report the OH and OD stretching regions of the vapor phase Raman spectra of H2O, and of a D2O/HDO mixture, at room temperature. Also, the corresponding spectrum of H2O at ∼2000 K in a methane/air flame is reported. These spectra are interpreted in terms of transition moments of the molecular polarizability, based on high-level ab initio calculations of the polarizability surface, and on variational wavefunctions considering the rotational-vibrational coupling in full. As a byproduct of this analysis several tables have been compiled including scattering strengths and assignments for individual rotational transitions of the three species. From these tables the Raman spectra in the OH/OD stretching regions can be simulated over the range of temperatures up to 2000 K for H2O, and up to 300 K for D2O and HDO.  相似文献

Nuclear spin–lattice relaxation rate T 1 −1 has been measured for the ladder sites of two single crystals Sr14Cu24O41 (Sr14-A,B) by 63Cu NMR/NQR. The hole localization around 100 K appears as a peak in the T variation of T 1 −1(NQR). On the other hand, it is suppressed in the T 1 −1 (NMR) data under the magnetic field H ∼ 11 T, and a new peak appears around 20 K. T 1 −1(NMR) around the peak is more enlarged for Sr14-B than for Sr14-A. Hence, holes on the ladders of Sr14-B tend to be more localized. This is considered to be an origin for the occurrence of the magnetic order in Sr14-B under H ∼ 11 T.  相似文献

Absolute cross sections σ(E, N) of electron attachment to clusters (H2O) N , (N2O) N , and (N2) N for varying electron energy E and cluster size N are measured by using crossed electron and cluster beams in a vacuum. Continua of σ(E) are found that correlate well with the functions of electron impact excitation of molecules’ internal degrees of freedom. The electron is attached through its solvation in a cluster. In the formation of (H2O) N , (N2O) N , and (N2) N , the curves σ(N) have a well-defined threshold because of a rise in the electron thermalization and solvation probability with N. For (H2O)900, (N2O)350, and (N2)260 clusters at E = 0.2 eV, the energy losses by the slow electron in the cluster are estimated as 3.0 × 107, 2.7 × 107, and 6.0 × 105 eV/m, respectively. It is found that the growth of σ with N is the fastest for (H2O) N and (N2) N clusters at E → 0 as a result of polarization capture of the s-electron. Specifically, at E = 0.1 eV and N = 260, σ = 3.0 × 10−13 cm2 for H2O clusters, 8.0 × 10−14 cm2 for N2O clusters, and 1.4 × 10−15 cm2 for N2 clusters; at E = 11 eV, σ = 9.0 × 10−16 cm2 for (H2O)200 clusters, 2.4 × 10−14 cm2 for (N2O)350 clusters, and 5.0 × 10−17 cm2 for (N2)260 clusters; finally, at E = 30 eV, σ = 3.6 × 10−17 cm2 for (N2O)10 clusters and 3.0 × 10−17 cm2 for (N2)125 clusters. Layered single crystals of the (BEDO-TTF)6[M(CN)6](H3O,CH3CN)2 (M = Fe, Cr) compounds with alternating conducting layers of BEDO-TTF and [M(CN)6](H3O,CH3CN)2 are studied. The contributions to the magnetic susceptibility from charge carriers in BEDO-TTF layers and from the subsystem of localized magnetic moments of iron (or chromium) transition metal complexes are separated for both compounds under investigation. It is revealed that the crystals with [Fe(CN))6]3− anions at a temperature of ∼80 K and the crystals with [Cr(CN))6]3− anions at ∼30 K undergo magnetic transitions which are accompanied by drastic changes in the parameters of the EPR lines associated with the BEDO-TTF layers and the subsystem of localized spins of transition metal complexes. The inelastic neutron scattering spectra of C2H2 and C2D2 adsorbed on a Ag+ exchanged 13X zeolite (0–800 cm?1) and of C2H2 on the Na+ form (0–300 cm?1) have been obtained. For the Na-13X system no distinct vibrational modes were observed, however for the Ag-13X systems the low frequency intramolecular modes of the adsorbed gas and some of the vibrations of the adsorbed gas relative to the surface have been assigned. From the deuteration shifts it appears that C2H2 and C2D2, adsorbed on Ag-13X, are non-linear.  相似文献

For nanodimensional magnetically inhomogeneous amorphous granular films of the system (Co84Nb14Ta2) x (SiO2)100−x , 30≤x≤60 at.% the concentration dependences of the magnetooptical Kerr effect (MOKE) spectra and FMR have been investigated. The observed changes in the MOKE and FMR spectra are associated with transformations of microstructure and topology of the nanocomposites. For the compositions within the percolation region the transversal Kerr effect increases by an order of magnitude.  相似文献

The effect of a dc bias field on the diffuse phase transition and nonlinear dielectric properties of sol-gel derived Ba(Zr0.2Ti0.8)O3 (BZT) ceramics are investigated. Diffuse phase transitions were observed in BZT ceramics and the Curie–Weiss exponent (CWE) was γ∼2.0. The dielectric constant versus temperature characteristics and the γ in the modified Curie–Weiss law, ε −1=ε m −1[1+(TT m ) γ /C1](1≤γ≤2), as a function of the dc bias field was obtained for BZT ceramics. The results indicated that γ is a function of dc bias field, and the γ value decreased from 2.04 to 1.73 with dc bias field increasing from 0 to 20 kV/cm. The dielectric constant decreases with increasing dc bias field, indicating a field-induced phase transition. The dc bias field has a strong effect on the position of the dielectric peak and affects the magnitude of the dielectric properties over a rather wide temperature range. The peak temperature of the dielectric loss does not coincide with the dielectric peak and an obvious minimum value for the dielectric loss at the temperature of the dielectric peaks is observed. At room temperature, 300 K, the high tunability (K=80%), the low loss tangent (≈0.01) and the large FOM (74), clearly imply that these ceramics are promising materials for tunable capacitor-device applications.  相似文献

The notions of D-computable state and D-concurrence are generalized to the C M C N system. A class of D-computable state on C M C N is given and the calculating method of the lower bound of D-concurrence is provided. The obvious expression of the lower bound of D-concurrence for the state mixed by two D-pure states is derived.
