We calculate nonperturbatively the irfluence of a strong circularly polarized laser beam on the hydrogen atom energy levels by making use of the time-independent formalism proposed by one of us. The photoionization cross section of the hydrogen atom irradiated by this laser beam and the angular distribution of photoelectrons are also calculated. From the numerical results we clearly see the intensity dependence of the whole photoionization process,including the intensity dependence of the photoelectron energies.  相似文献

Implementation of promising control schemes for the intensity and position of X-ray-laser beams with a photon energy up to several tens of kiloelectronvolts requires knowledge of the angular dependence of cross sections for photoionization of noble gas atoms by hard photons. Estimates of quadrupole corrections to the cross section for photoionization of a Kr atom by X-ray photons with an energy of about 25 keV are reported in this paper. An analytic expression for the cross section of the process is parameterized in a compact form convenient for analyzing angular distributions with an arbitrary polarization of a photon beam.  相似文献

Focused propagation of high-power femtosecond laser radiation in air is considered. Based on numerical solution of the nonlinear Schr?dinger equation for complex envelope of light wave electric field, evolution of the beam effective radius is studied. The dependence of the effective (rms) size of a focal spot and the maximally achievable intensity of laser radiation at focal waist on the initial pulse power is established. It is shown that focal spot of tightly focused intensive ultrashort laser radiation can change its size during the pulse passage through the beam waist. This is the consequence of pulse intensity clamping in region of beam focusing caused by gas photoionization and plasma producing. This may prevent laser intensity from its further growth in the focal region and arrest the transversal compression of the beam in the linear focus as a whole.  相似文献

The process of resonant multiphoton ionization of a hydrogen atom in the ground 1s state is studied by direct numerical integration of the nonstationary Schrödinger equation for a quantum system in an electromagnetic field. The dependence of photoionization probability on the radiation intensity is found to be nonmonotonic. It is established that the minima of ionization correspond to multiphoton resonances between the ground state and one of the excited (Rydberg) atomic states perturbed by the laser field. It is shown that ionization is suppressed due to rearrangement of Rydberg states in a strong electromagnetic field and is accompanied by efficient Raman Λ transitions, which connect a set of closely lying Rydberg states via the continuum.  相似文献

Experimental data for separation of neodymium isotopes by atomic vapor selective laser photoionization are analyzed. Atom scattering in the working volume and the Doppler shift of the atom absorption line are shown to be the basic deselecting processes in the experimental cell studied. A data processing technique that allows one to determine the effect of either deselecting process on the product enrichment and yield is suggested. The experimental dependence of the target isotope concentration in photoions present in the separating chamber on the angular divergence (collimation) of the atomic vapor flow along the laser beam is found. A method for determining the vapor flow optimal angular collimation is developed.  相似文献

Crossed laser molecular beam configuration was used to study the photoionization of U and UO by the UV-lines of an argon ion laser. Photoionization efficiencies of both U and UO were found to be line sensitive. Photoionization by the 3638 Å line was observed for the first time. Uranium atom ionization efficiency being higher for the 3345 Å and 3511 Å groups of lines, while UO ionization efficiency being maximum for the 3638 Å line. Dependence of photoion signal on laser power and relative photoionization efficiencies of the two isotopic species of uranium are also investigated.  相似文献

实验研究了钛原子在293~321 nm波段的共振增强多光子电离. 采用激光烧蚀和超声射流相结合的实验技术来制备自由原子,由飞行时间质谱仪实现对钛原子光电离产物的检测. 从离子信号强度对和激光强度的依赖关系导出了钛原子价电子激发态的光电离截面. 实验测量的一些激发态光电离截面在0.2~6.0 Mb. 通过对46Ti、47Ti、48Ti的光电离截面测量研究,没有发现明显的同位素依赖性.  相似文献

Effect of laser field intensity on exciton binding energies is investigated in a GaAs/ GaAlAs double quantum well system. Calculations have been carried out with the variational technique within the single band effective mass approximations using a two parametric trial wave function. The interband emission energy as a function of well width is calculated in the influence of laser field. The laser field induced photoionization cross-section for the exciton placed at the centre of the quantum well is computed as a function of normalized photon energy. The dependence of the photoionization cross-section on photon energy is carried out for the excitons. The resulting spectra are brought out for light polarized along and perpendicular to the growth direction. The intense laser field dependence of interband absorption coefficient is investigated. The results show that the exciton binding energy, interband emission energy, the photoionization cross-section and the interband absorption coefficient depend strongly on the well width and the laser field intensity. Our results are compared with the other existing literature available.  相似文献

We theoretically study the dependence of atomic excitation and ionization on the carrier envelope phase of few-cycle laser pulses in the multiphoton ionization regime. Our theoretical results for the hydrogen atom based on the solution of the 3D time-dependent Schr?dinger equation show that the strong phase dependence can be seen in not only total ionization, but also bound-state population under the weak laser intensity regime.  相似文献

Attosecond-pulse extreme-ultraviolet (XUV) photoionization in a two-color laser field is investigated. Attosecond pulse trains with different numbers of pulses are examined, and their strong dependence on photoelectronic spectra is found. Single-color driving-laser-field-assisted attosecond XUV photoionization cannot determine the number of attosecond pulses from the photoelectronic energy spectrum that are detected orthogonally to the beam direction and the electric field vector of the linearly polarized laser field. A two-color-field-assisted XUV photoionization scheme is proposed for directly determining the number of attosecond pulses from a spectrum detected orthogonally.  相似文献

原子法激光同位素分离的核心之一是如何高效地将原子激发电离.本文从原子法激光同位素分离的实际情况出发,研究了原子吸收谱线的Doppler展宽对原子电离率的影响.研究中使用的理论工具是原子激发电离的密度矩阵方程,并利用数值计算方法对方程进行求解.研究结果表明:当吸收谱线有Doppler展宽时,在激光参数不变的条件下原子电离率会降低;且当激光功率固定时,存在使原子电离率为最大的线宽值.这与已发表文献中无Doppler展宽时的计算结果有很大不同.为了追求最佳的原子电离效果,在原子法激光同位素分离系统中激光应该尽可能地工作在最佳线宽条件下.如果激光线宽有不可控的随机波动,在技术上让激光线宽略大于最佳线宽更为有利.无论如何控制激光线宽,尽可能地降低原子吸收谱线的Doppler展宽都有利于原子电离率的提高.  相似文献

We report on the investigation of the photon energy dependence of double 1s photoionization of light atoms and compare the cross sections for hollow atom and He-like ion production. Measurements of the Kα hypersatellite x-ray spectra of Mg, Al, and Si were carried out using the Fribourg high-resolution x-ray spectrometer installed at the ID21 and ID26 beam lines at the ESRF. The double-to-single photoionization cross section ratios were derived as a function of the incident photon beam energy and compared to convergent close-coupling (CCC) calculations for He-like ions. The dynamical electron-electron scattering contribution to the DPI cross-sections was found to be more important for neutral atoms than for the He isoelectronic series.  相似文献

In our experiment, a single cesium atom prepared in a large-magnetic-gradient magneto–optical trap (MOT) can be efficiently transferred into a 1064-nm far-off-resonance microscopic optical dipole trap (FORT). The efficient transfer of the single atom between the two traps is used to determine the trapping lifetime and the effective temperature of the single atom in FORT. The typical trapping lifetime has been improved from ~ 6.9 s to ~ 130 s by decreasing the background pressure from ~ 1 × 10–10 Torr to ~ 2 × 10–11Torr and applying one-shot 10-ms laser cooling phase. We also theoretically investigate the dependence of trapping lifetimes of a single atom in a FORT on trap parameters based on the FORT beam’s intensity noise induced heating. Numerical simulations show that the heating depends on the FORT beam’s waist size and the trap depth. The trapping time can be predicted based on effective temperature measurement of a single atom in the FORT and the intensity noise spectra of the FORT beam. These experimental results are found to be in agreement with the predictions of the heating model.  相似文献

采用光电离探测方法,对钐原子奇宇称束缚激发态进行了系统研究.通过设计三条不同的激发路径, 采用共振激发方式,先将钐原子分三步从基态激发到不同的束缚激发态,然后采用光电离手段对其进行探测. 通过对第三步激发光的波长进行大范围的扫描,在同一能域内获得了三组不同的光谱. 通过比对三条路径所得到的三组光谱,不仅精确确定了大量奇宇称束缚激发态的能级位置, 而且还获得了相应跃迁的相对强度的信息.最后,通过运用三条不同的激发路径的选择定则, 还确定了上述能级的总角动量. 关键词: 钐原子 束缚激发态 奇宇称 光电离探测  相似文献

提出了一种采用单模光纤、环形二元相位板和微透镜组成的光束整形系统产生亚微米局域空心光束的方案. 根据瑞利-索莫菲衍射积分公式, 数值计算了微透镜焦平面附近的场分布, 详细研究了空心光束的暗斑尺寸与单模光纤模场半径和微透镜焦距的关系. 数值计算结果表明: 在微透镜焦平面附近光场分布近似对称, 在焦点处场强近似为零, 周围场强逐渐增大, 形成半径约为0.4 μm的三维封闭的球形空心光场区域, 即亚微米局域空心光束. 当局域空心光束为蓝失谐时, 光场中的原子将被囚禁在光场最弱处. 若加上抽运光, 原子将受到蓝失谐局域空心光束与抽运光共同激发的强度梯度Sisyphus冷却. 本文利用该方案产生的亚微米局域空心光束构建单原子的囚禁与冷却器件, 并以单个87Rb原子为例, 利用Mont-Carlo方法研究亚微米局域空心光束中单原子囚禁与强度梯度冷却的动力学过程, 结果表明利用该器件可以获得温度在5.8 μK量级的超冷单原子.  相似文献

利用脉宽为25 ns的脉冲Nd: YAG 532 nm的激光,在1010—1011 W/cm2的强度下,用飞行时间质谱对丙酮团簇的激光电离过程进行了研究. 观察到了较强的Oq+(q=2—4)和Cq+(q=1—4)高价离子信号,这些高价离子 C4+,C3+,C2+,O4+,O3+,O2+的最大概然平动能分别为240 eV,70 eV,30 eV,90 eV,80 eV,40 eV. 高价离子的强度和平动能随激光强度的增大而增大. 我们提出一个多光子电离引发,逆韧致吸收加热-电子碰撞电离模型来解释高价离子的产生. 关键词: 丙酮 团簇 库仑爆炸 高价离子  相似文献

激光在厚原子蒸气介质中传播时会产生脉冲形变和延迟现象,这会直接影响原子多步光电离过程中的电离率和选择性.从原子蒸气激光同位素分离的实际出发,对厚原子蒸气介质中的原子光电离过程进行了研究,利用密度矩阵方法描述原子的光电离过程,利用Maxwell方程描述激光在厚介质中的传播,建立了介质中同时存在两种同位素的激光传播电离方程组,考察了原子蒸气参数和激光参数对厚介质中平均电离率和平均选择性的影响.研究结果表明:对于较厚的原子蒸气介质,激光功率的增加使平均电离率升高,平均选择性下降;对于相对较薄的介质,适当地降低激光功率可以同时提高平均电离率和平均选择性.存在一个正的激光延时使原子蒸气中目标同位素的平均电离率达到最大.尽量延长激光脉冲的宽度不仅可以同时提高目标同位素的平均电离率和平均选择性,还可以降低对激光脉冲之间相对延时的控制精度.  相似文献

利用广义伪谱方法精确数值求解了氢原子在强激光场中的三维含时薛定谔方程,获得了强激光中氢原子的含时波函数,利用时间依赖的偶极矩的傅里叶变换得到了高次谐波谱,研究了氢原子在强激光场中发射低于电离阈值的谐波谱对激光强度的依赖性.研究发现,激光强度在低于电离阈值的谐波产生的通道选择的过程中扮演着重要角色,主要有两种量子通道对阈下谐波的产生有贡献,即广义的短轨道和长轨道,其中长轨道对激光场强度比较敏感.结合小波时频变换、经典轨道分析、以及强度依赖的量子通道选择分析,本文阐明了其背后的物理机制.  相似文献
