In this study, Co0.5Ni0.5Nd0.02Fe1.98O4 nanoparticles CoNiNd (NPs) were synthesized by combustion method linked with biosynthesis with and without different plant extracts such as Lavender, Ginger, Flax-Seed, Lemon Juice, Tragacanth Gum, and Dates Fruit. Co0.5Ni0.5Nd0.02Fe1.98O4 nanoparticles (NPs) with plant extracts (CoNiNd plant extracts) were analyzed by XRD, TEM and SEM methods. The structure of Co-Ni spinel ferrite was confirmed by XRD and the shape and the size of nanoparticles were examined via SEM and TEM and the size was found between 17 and 25 nm. The anti-cancer activity of NPs on cancer cells such as human colorectal carcinoma (HCT-116) and human cervical cells (Hela) were investigated. The cytotoxicity of was examined by MTT assay and followed by measuring the inhibitory concentration (IC50) values after 48 h treatments. The cell viability assay confirmed a decrease in the cancer cell viability post NPs treatments and showed dose-dependent inhibitory action. The treatments of CoNiNd (NPs) and CoNiNd plant extracts via Lavender plant extract showed most profound inhibitory action on both cancer cells than extracts other plant extracts. The IC50 values were for HCT-116 cells were found to be in range of 15.75–42.55 µg/mL and 13.44 to 35.65 µg/mL for HeLa cells. In contrast, the treatment of CoNiNd (NPs) and CoNiNd plant extracts showed inhibitory action but the percentage of inhibition was higher in HEK-293 cells. Our results showed that CoNiNd (NPs) and CoNiNd plant extracts possess potential application in the colon and cervical cancer treatments and we recommend molecular analysis of NPs mediated cancer cell death for future applications.  相似文献

This work described the one-pot synthesis of apple pectin encapsulated Fe3O4 nanoparticles (Fe3O4/Pectin NPs) which is prepared by co-precipitation of Fe(II/(III) ions in alkaline solution mediated by pectin under ultrasound condition. This process led to formation of magnetic nanoparticles within the network of pectin. Physicochemical characterization of the as-synthesized Fe3O4/Pectin NPs was carried out through electron microscopy (SEM and TEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The in vitro cytotoxic and anti-colorectal cancer effects of biologically synthesized Fe3O4/Pectin NPs against Ramos.2G6.4C10, HCT-8 [HRT-18], HCT 116, and HT-29 cancer cell lines were assessed. The anti-colorectal cancer properties of the Fe3O4/Pectin NPs could significantly remove Ramos.2G6.4C10, HCT-8 [HRT-18], HCT 116, and HT-29 cancer cell lines in a time and concentration-dependent manner by MTT assay. The IC50 of the Fe3O4/Pectin NPs were 317, 337, 187, and 300 µg/mL against Ramos.2G6.4C10, HCT-8 [HRT-18], HCT 116, and HT-29 cancer cell lines. The antioxidant activity of Fe3O4/Pectin NPs was determined by DPPH method. The Fe3O4/Pectin NPs showed the high antioxidant activity according to the IC50 value. It seems that the anti-human colorectal cancer effect of recent nanoparticles is due to their antioxidant effects.  相似文献

A boronate-decorated nanomagnetic organic-inorganic hybrid material was facilely synthesized by utilizing the nanomagnetic polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS) composite (Fe3O4@POSS) as the base platform. A simple copolymerization occurred between 3-acrylamidophenylboronic acid (AAPBA) and the residual end vinyl groups supplied by the substrate. Here the special emphasis was placed on the octavinyl POSS, which not only acted as the building blocks for a hybrid architecture but also facilitated the process of grafting boronate groups onto the surface of POSS based nanomagnetic composite (Fe3O4@POSS). The successful immobilization of affinity ligand-AAPBA on the Fe3O4@POSS was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), elemental analysis, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer (ICP-AES), field emission scanning electron microscope. A magnetic solid-phase extraction (MSPE) for cis-diols enrichment was developed using the as-prepared Fe3O4@POSS-AAPBA material as an affinity sorbent and three catecholamines (CAs), namely noradrenaline, epinephrine and isoprenaline, as model analytes. Under the optimal extraction conditions, sensitive and simultaneous analysis of three CAs from the urine sample was achieved by high-performance liquid chromatography with UV detection (HPLC-UV). The limits of detection (LOD, S/N = 3) and the limits of quantitation (LOQ, S/N = 10) for the target analytes were 0.81–1.32 ng mL−1 and 2.70–4.40 ng mL−1, respectively. Also good recoveries (85.5–101.7%) and repeatability (RSD≤10.1%) were obtained by this method. This work not only showed a facility for the utilization of Fe3O4@POSS as a substrate for constructing a boronate functionalized nanomagnetic sorbent, but also demonstrated the capability of the derived material for recognition of trace amount of cis-diols biomolecules presented in complicated biological matrices.  相似文献

This research work includes the fabrication of iron oxide nanoparticles (Fe2O3 NPs) by green construction approach using Wisteria sinensis leaves extract. Due to its eco-friendly approach, the synthesis of iron oxide NPs (Fe2O3 NPs) using various plant sources, such as plant parts, and microbial cells have gained a lot of attention in recent years. Cost-effectiveness and ease of availability make Wisteria sinensis leaves extract a potential candidate for the construction of iron oxide NPs. The various key features like biocompatibility, non-toxicity capping, and stabilizing agents present in biological sources are advantageous for usage in a variety of applications. The phytoconstituents present in the leaf extract of Wisteria sinensis serve as reducing and stabilizing agents. The biologically fabricated (Fe2O3 NPs) were analyzed using FT-IR, XRD, UV–vis spectroscopy, and SEM. In the present work, the antioxidant and photocatalytic dye degradation efficiency of Fe2O3 NPs has been studied. The dye degradation efficiency of methylene blue dye was found to be 87% at 180 min upon exposure to sunlight. The capacity of Fe2O3 NPs to scavenge 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl hydrate free radicals (DPPH) was examined using a UV–Vis spectrophotometer. The study compared the radical scavenging activity (RSA) of Fe2O3 nanoparticles (NPs) with that of the standard antioxidant ascorbic acid. The results demonstrated that Fe2O3 NPs have a greater ability to scavenge radicals than ascorbic acid. The half-maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) of Fe2O3 NPs was observed to range from 0.12 to 0.17. Furthermore, Fe2O3 NPs displayed the highest antifungal activity, with an inhibition zone of 26.8 mm against F. oxysporum. These findings suggest that the biologically synthesized Fe2O3 NPs possess potent antimicrobial and dye degradation properties.  相似文献

This work describes an eco-friendly approach for in situ immobilization of Au nanoparticles on the surface of Fe3O4 nanoparticles, with the help of Thymbra spicata extract and ultrasound irradiations, without using any toxic reducing and capping agents. The combination of Fe3O4 NPs and Au NPs in one hybrid nanostructure (Fe3O4@Thymbra spicata/Au NPs) represents a promising strategy for targeted biomedical applications. The structure, morphology, and physicochemical properties were characterized by various analytical techniques such as fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), inductively coupled plasma (ICP) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). MTT assay was used on common ovarian cancer cell lines i.e., SW-626, PA-1, and SK-OV-3 to survey the cytotoxicity and anti-ovarian cancer effects of Fe3O4@Thymbra spicata/Au NPs. The best results of cytotoxicity and anti-ovarian cancer properties were seen in the concentration of 1000 µg/mL. Fe3O4@ Thymbra spicata/Au NPs had very low cell viability and high anti-ovarian cancer activities dose-dependently against PA-1, SW-626, and SK-OV-3 cell lines without any cytotoxicity on the normal cell line (HUVEC). For investigating the antioxidant properties of Fe3O4@ Thymbra spicata/Au NPs, the DPPH test was used in the presence of butylated hydroxytoluene as the positive control. Fe3O4@Thymbra spicata/Au NPs inhibited half of the DPPH molecules in the concentration of 107 µg/mL. Maybe significant anti-human ovarian cancer potentials of Fe3O4@Thymbra spicata/Au NPs against common human ovarian cancer cell lines are linked to their antioxidant activities. After confirming the above results in the clinical trial researches, this formulation can be administrated for the treatment of several types of human ovarian cancers in humans.  相似文献

In that work, we have described the synthesis of novel Cu NPs decorated polyethylene glycol (PEG2000) coated magnetic nanoparticles (Fe3O4/PEG2000/Cu NPs) in an eco-friendly pathway applying Green Tea extract as reducing/stabilizing agent. The morphological and physicochemical features of the prepared nanocomposite were determined using several advanced techniques like ICP-OES, FE-SEM, EDX, atomic mapping, TEM, VSM, and XRD studies. In the antioxidant test, the IC50 of Fe3O4/PEG2000/Cu nanocomposite and BHT against DPPH free radicals were 198 and 85 µg/mL, respectively. In the cellular and molecular part of the recent study, the treated cells with Fe3O4/PEG2000/Cu nanocomposite were assessed by MTT assay for 48 h about the cytotoxicity and anti-human gastric cancer properties on normal (HUVEC) and gastric cancer cell lines i.e. NCI-N87 and MKN45. The IC50 of Fe3O4/PEG2000/Cu nanocomposite were 316 and 131 µg/mL against NCI-N87 and MKN45 cell lines, respectively. The viability of malignant gastric cell line reduced dose-dependently in the presence of Fe3O4/PEG2000/Cu nanocomposite. It seems that the anti-human gastric cancer effect of recent nanoparticles is due to their antioxidant effects.  相似文献

In recent days, the green synthesized nanomagnetic biocomposites have been evolved with tremendous potential as the future biological agents. This has encouraged us to design and synthesis of a novel Cu NPs supported Thyme flower extract modified magnetic nanomaterial (Fe3O4/Thyme-Cu). It was meticulously characterized using advanced analytical techniques like FT-IR, FESEM, TEM, EDX, VSM, XRD and ICP-OES. After the characterization, the synthesized Fe3O4/Thyme-Cu nanocomposite was engaged in biological assays like study of anti-oxidant properties by DPPH mediated free radical scavenging test using BHT as a reference molecule. Thereafter, on having a significant IC50 value in radical scavenging assay, we extended the bio-application of the desired nanocomposite in anticancer study of A549, Calu6 and H358 human lung cell lines in-vitro through MTT assay. They had very low cell viability and high anti-human lung cancer activities dose-dependently against A549, Calu6 and H358 cell lines without any cytotoxicity on the normal cell line (MRC-5). The IC50 of Fe3O4/Thyme-Cu nanocomposite was 124, 265, and 181 µg/mL against A549, Calu6 and H358 cell lines, respectively. Maybe significant anti-human lung cancer potentials of Fe3O4/Thyme-Cu nanocomposite against common lung cancer cell lines are related to their antioxidant activities. So, these results suggest that synthesized Fe3O4/Thyme-Cu nanocomposite as a chemotherapeutic nanomaterial have a suitable anticancer activity against lung cell lines.  相似文献

The ever‐increasing resistance of plant microbes towards fungicides and bactericides has been causing serious threat to plant production in recent years. For the development of an effective antifungal agent, we introduce a novel hydrothermal protocol for synthesis of chitosan iron oxide nanoparticles (CH‐Fe2O3 NPs) using acetate buffer of low pH 5.0 for intermolecular interaction of Fe2O3 NPs and CH. The composite structure and elemental elucidation were carried out by using X‐ray power diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive X‐ray (EDX), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Fourier Transformed Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and Ultraviolet Visible Absorption Spectroscopy (UV–vis spectroscopy). Additionally, antifungal activity was evaluated both In vitro and In vivo against Rhizopus oryzae which is causing fruit rot disease of strawberry. We compared different concentrations (0.25%, 0.50%, 075% and 1%) of CH‐Fe2O3 NPs and 50% synthetic fungicide (Matalyxal Mancozab) to figure out suitable concentration for application in the field. XRD analysis showed a high crystalline nature of the NPs with average size of 52 nanometer (nm). SEM images revealed spherical shape with size range of 50–70 nm, whereas, TEM also revealed spherical shape, size ranging from 0 nm to 80 nm. EDX and FTIR results revealed presence of CH on surface of Fe2O3 NPs. The band gap measurement showed peak 317–318 nm for bare Fe2O3 NPs and CH‐Fe2O3 NPs respectively. Antifungal activity in both In vitro and In vivo significantly increased with increase in concentration. The overall results revealed high synergetic antifungal potential of organometallic CH‐Fe2O3 NPs against Rhizopus oryzae and suggest the use of CH‐Fe2O3 NPs against other Phyto‐pathological diseases due to biodegradable nature.  相似文献

Monodispersed cobalt nanoparticles (NPs) with controllable size (8–14 nm) have been synthesized using thermal decomposition of dicobaltoctacarbonyl in organic solvent. The as-synthesized high magnetic moment (125 emu/g) Co NPs are dispersible in various organic solvents, and can be easily transferred into aqueous phase by surface modification using phospholipids. However, the modified hydrophilic Co NPs are not stable as they are quickly oxidized, agglomerated in buffer. Co NPs are stabilized by coating the MFe2O4 (M=Fe, Mn) ferrite shell. Core/shell structured bimagnetic Co/MFe2O4 nanocomposites are prepared with tunable shell thickness (1–5 nm). The Co/MFe2O4 nanocomposites retain the high magnetic moment density from the Co core, while gaining chemical and magnetic stability from the ferrite shell. Compared to Co NPs, the nanocomposites show much enhanced stability in buffer solution at elevated temperatures, making them promising for biomedical applications.  相似文献

A simple and green method for the controllable synthesis of core–shell Fe3O4 polydopamine nanoparticles (Fe3O4@PDA NPs) with tunable shell thickness and their application as a recyclable nanocatalyst support is presented. Magnetite Fe3O4 NPs formed in a one-pot process by the hydrothermal approach with a diameter of ∼240 nm were coated with a polydopamine shell layer with a tunable thickness of 15–45 nm. The facile deposition of Au NPs atop Fe3O4@PDA NPs was achieved by utilizing PDA as both the reducing agent and the coupling agent. The satellite nanocatalysts exhibited high catalytic performance for the reduction of p-nitrophenol. Furthermore, the recovery and reuse of the catalyst was demonstrated 8 times without detectible loss in activity. The synergistic combination of unique features of PDA and magnetic nanoparticles establishes these core–shell NPs as a versatile platform for potential applications.  相似文献

In this present study, photocatalytic and in-vitro biological properties of biogenic preparation of husked rice-shaped iron oxide nanoparticles (Fe2O3 NPs) are investigated. Fe2O3 NPs have been prepared by the reduction of iron chloride (FeCl3) using coconut pulp (Cocos nucifera L.) extract. The Fe2O3 NPs were characterized by various analytical techniques such as FE-SEM, TEM, XRD, FT-IR, TGA, VSM, PL, and UV-DRS. Based on the characterization results, the as-prepared Fe2O3 NPs are in husked rice shape and exhibit rhombohedral crystal phase and also show an excellent stability. The prepared Fe2O3 NPs was investigated as a catalyst for the photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B solution. The photocatalytic results indicated that the Fe2O3 NPs catalyst possesses good activity with efficiency of 92% after 50 min under visible-light irradiation. In addition, the Fe2O3 NPs showed good antibacterial and anticancer properties against Gram-negative Escherichia coli and Gram-positive, Staphylococcus aureus and HepG2 cell lines, resulting in effective antibacterial and anticancer activity. The prepared Fe2O3 NPs, thus, proved to be a potential material for environmental remediation and biological applications.  相似文献

In this study, silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) were decorated on the surface of magnetic nanoparticles in an eco-friendly pathway applying Mentha extract as reducing/stabilizing agent. The morphological and physicochemical features of the prepared Ag/Fe3O4nanocomposite were determined using several advanced techniques. Hence, our protocol is green and advantageous in terms of- i) biochemical modified biocompatible nanocomposite; ii) nanomaterial providing high surface area and larger number reactive sites; iii) very simplistic synthetic procedure; vi) very low load of metal in the composite and v) high yield in short time. In the medicinal part, the anticancer properties of Ag/Fe3O4 nanocomposite against lung cancer cell lines were determined. The free radical for the antioxidant effects was DPPH. The IC50 of Ag/Fe3O4 nanocomposite was 200 µg/ml in the antioxidant test. The IC50 of the Ag/Fe3O4 nanocomposite were 183, 176, 169, and 125 µg/mL against lung cancer (NCI-H661, NCI-H1975, NCI-H1573, and NCI-H1563) cell lines, respectively. In addition, the current study offer that Ag/Fe3O4 nanocomposite could be a new potential adjuvant chemopreventive and chemotherapeutic agent against cytotoxic cells.  相似文献

Iron oxide nanoparticles have attracted much attention because of their superparamagnetic properties and their potential applications in many fields such as magnetic storage devices, catalysis, sensors, superparamagnetic relaxometry (SPMR), and high-sensitivity biomolecule magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for medical diagnosis and therapeutics. In this study, iron oxide nanoparticles (Fe2O3 NPs) have been synthesized using a taranjabin (camelthorn or persian manna) aqueous solution. The synthesized Fe2O3 NPs were identified through powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), field energy scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDX), vibrating-sample magnetometer (VSM) and Raman technics. The results show that the nanoparticles have a hexagonal structure with 20 to 60 nm in size. The cytotoxic effect of the synthesized nanoparticles has been tested upon application against lung cancer cell (A549) lines. It was found that there is no cytotoxic activity at lower concentrations of 200 μg/mL. The ability of the synthesized nanoparticles for lead removal in wastewaters was tested. Results show that highest concentration of adsorbent (50 mg/L) has maximum removal efficiency (96.73 %). So, synthesized Fe2O3 NPs can be a good candidate to use as heavy metals cleaner from contaminated waters.  相似文献

In order to overcome the limitations of conventional therapeutic systems in the treatment of cancer, nanoparticles (NPs) have been rapidly produced and developed as a separate treatment method for control of cancer. Synthesis of nanoparticles using plant-based materials (green synthesis), due to the easy and cost-effective synthesis, production of non-toxic, sustainable and environmentally friendly products, can be considered the most appropriate method for preparation of NPs. In this study, after synthesis of Bi2O3 NPs using Ginger (Zingiber officinale) root (rhizome) extract, the synthesized NPs were characterized and their potential application as selective anticancer agents against HCT116 colorectal cancer cells was evaluated through regulation of PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway, whereas the human kidney (HK-2) cells were used as normal cells. FTIR analysis showed a band at 673 cm?1 attributed to Bi-O vibration with a fingerprint region at 1291 cm?1 demonstrating the attachment of the organic molecules to the synthesized Bi2O3 NPs. UV–visible study showed a λmax of around 268 nm, whereas XRD analysis showed eight clear peaks, demonetizing the crystalline phase of synthesized Bi2O3 NPs. TEM analysis showed that spherical-shaped Bi2O3 NPs have a size range of 20–50 nm with a man size of around 35 nm. Finally, DLS analysis determined that Bi2O3 NPs have a hydrodynamic size of about 71.19 nm (PDI of 0.179) and a zeta potential value of ?44.39 mV, revealing the good colloidal stability of NPs. Cellular assays (MTT, LDH, flow cytometry, and RT-qPCR) showed that synthesized Bi2O3 NPs selectively induced anticancer effects against HCT116 colorectal cancer cells through membrane leakage, generation of ROS, induction of apoptosis via dysregulation of Bax, Bcl-2 and caspase-3 at mRNA level mediated via regulation of PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway. In conclusion, it may be suggested that the presence study could provide useful information for the potential anticancer effects mediated by synthesized Bi2O3 NPs in vitro, although further studies, including in vivo studies and clinical trials, are needed to support our findings.  相似文献

Multifunctional nanoprobes with distinctive magnetic and fluorescent properties are highly useful in accurate and early cancer diagnosis. In this study, nanoparticles of Fe3O4 core with fluorescent SiO2 shell (MFS) are synthesized by a facile improved Stöber method. These nanoparticles owning a significant core-shell structure exhibit good dispersion, stable fluorescence, low cytotoxicity and excellent biocompatibility. TLS11a aptamer (Apt1), a specific membrane protein for human liver cancer cells which could be internalized into cells, is conjugated to the MFS nanoparticles through the formation of amide bond working as a target-specific moiety. The attached TLS11a aptamers on nanoparticles are very stable and can't be hydrolyzed by DNA hydrolytic enzyme in vivo. Both fluorescence and magnetic resonance imaging show significant uptake of aptamer conjugated nanoprobe by HepG2 cells compared to 4T1, SGC-7901 and MCF-7 cells. In addition, with the increasing concentration of the nanoprobe, T2-weighted MRI images of the as-treated HepG2 cells are significantly negatively enhanced, indicating that a high magnetic field gradient is generated by MFS-Apt1 which has been specifically captured by HepG2 cells. The relaxivity of nanoprobe is calculated to be 11.5 mg−1s−1. The MR imaging of tumor-bearing nude mouse is also confirmed. The proposed multifunctional nanoprobe with the size of sub-100 nm has the potential to provide real-time imaging in early liver cancer cell diagnosis.  相似文献

This study examined the applications of novel non-polymer magnetic ferrite nanoparticles (Fe3O4 NPs) labeled with 99mTc-pertechnetate (99mTcO4 ). The radiochemistry, chemistry, and biodistribution of Fe3O4 NPs labeled with 9mTcO4 were analyzed. This paper employed instant thin layer chromatography and magnetic adsorption to evaluate the labeling efficiency and stability of 99mTc-Fe3O4 at various reaction conditions. A scanning electron microscope, X-ray diffractometer, Fourier transform infrared spectrometer, laser particle size analyzer, and superconducting quantum interference device magnetometer were used to analyze the physical and chemical properties of the Fe3O4 and 99Tc-Fe3O4 nanoparticles. The biodistribution and excretion of 99mTc-Fe3O4 were also investigated. Radiochemical analyses showed that the labeling efficiency was over 92% after 1 min in the presence of a reducing agent. Hydroxyl and amine groups covered the surface of the Fe3O4 particles. Therefore, 99Tc (VII) reduced to lower oxidation states and might bind to Fe3O4 NPs. The sizes of the 99Tc-Fe3O4 NPs were about 600 nm without ultrasound vibrations, and the particle sizes were reduced to 250 nm under ultrasound vibration conditions. Nonetheless, Fe3O4 NPs and 99Tc-Fe3O4 NPs exhibited superparamagnetic properties, and the saturation magnetization values were about 55 and 47 emu/g, respectively. The biodistribution showed that a portion of the 99mTc-Fe3O4 nanoparticles might embolize in a pulmonary capillary initially; the embolism radioactivity was cleared from the lungs and was then taken up by the liver. 99mTc-Fe3O4 metabolized very slowly only 1–2% of the injected dose (ID) was excreted in urine and about 2.37% ID/g was retained in the liver 4 h after injection. Radiopharmaceutically, 99mTc-Fe3O4 NPs displayed long-term retention, and only 99mTc-Fe3O4 NPs that dissociated to free pertechnetate could be excreted in urine. This research evaluated the feasibility of non-polymer magnetic ferrite NPs labeled with technetium as potential radiopharmaceuticals in nuclear medicine.  相似文献

A new type of metal-oxide-coated magnetic nanoparticles (NPs)—tantalum-oxide-coated magnetic iron oxide (Fe3O4@Ta2O5) NPs—which are used as affinity probes for selectively trapping phosphopeptides from complex samples, is demonstrated in this study. In this approach, phosphopeptide enrichment was achieved by incubating the NPs with sample solutions under microwave heating within 1 min. The NP–target species conjugates were readily isolated from samples by magnetic separation followed by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) mass spectrometric analysis. When using human serum as the sample, phosphorylated fibrinopeptide-A-derived ions are the only ions observed in the MALDI mass spectra after enrichment by the Fe3O4@Ta2O5 NPs. Furthermore, only phosphopeptides appear in the MALDI mass spectra after using the affinity probes to selectively trap target species from the tryptic digest of a cell lysate and milk sample. The results demonstrated that the Fe3O4@Ta2O5 NPs have the capability of selectively trapping phosphorylated peptides from complex samples. The detection limit of this approach for a phosphopeptide (FQpSEEQQQTEDELQDK) was ~10 fmol. Figure For the first time, tantalum oxide-coated magnetic iron oxide (Fe3O4@Ta2O5) NPs were demonstrated as suitable affinity-probes for selectively trapping phosphopeptides from complex samples. To shorten the analysis time, phosphopeptide enrichment was achieved by incubating the NPs with sample solutions under microwave-heating within 1 min. MALDI MS was employed for characterization of the species trapped by the NPs.  相似文献

Three kinds of polyhedral α‐Fe2O3 nanoparticles enclosed by different facets including oblique parallel hexahedrons (op‐hexahedral NPs), cracked oblique parallel hexahedrons (cop‐hexahedral NPs), and octadecahedral nanoparticles (octadecahedral NPs), were successfully prepared by simply changing only one reaction parameter in the hydrothermal process. The structural and morphological of the products were systematically studied using various characterizations including X‐ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), revealing that the three kinds of α‐Fe2O3 nanoparticles were enclosed by {104}, {110}/{104}, and {102}/{012}/{104} crystal planes, respectively. The exposed facets and shape of the nanocrystals were found to be affected by the adding amount of ethylene glycol in the solvent. The gas‐sensing properties and mechanism of the α‐Fe2O3 samples were studied and analyzed, which indicated that the sensitivity of the three samples followed the order of octadecahedral NPs > cop‐hexahedral NPs > op‐hexahedral NPs due to the combined effects of specific surface area and oxygen defects in the nanocrystals.  相似文献

Rod-like assembled magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoparticles (NPs) were successfully synthesized in a one-pot process using a polysiloxane template derived from a dialkoxysilane. The assembly was constructed using the thiol-ene click reaction between thiol groups on the polysiloxane chain and allyl groups on Fe3O4 NPs. The thiol-containing polysiloxane chain and the allyl-containing Fe3O4 NPs were synthesized by the hydrolysis–condensation of 3-mercaptopropyl(dimethoxy)methylsilane and iron (III) allylacetylacetonate, respectively. Fe3O4 NPs of around 5 nm were uniformly dispersed on the siloxane rods and exhibited neither remanent magnetization nor coercivity. A fluid containing a dispersion of rod-like assembled Fe3O4 NPs showed yield stress even without the application of an external magnetic field, whereas spherical Fe3O4 NPs exhibited no yield stress. The rod-like assembled Fe3O4 NPs on anisotropic siloxane clearly exhibited typical magnetorheological behavior.  相似文献
