2D covalent organic frameworks (COFs) are receiving ongoing attention in semiconductor photocatalysis. Herein, we present a photocatalytic selective chemical transformation by combining sp2 carbon‐conjugated porphyrin‐based covalent organic framework (Por‐sp2c‐COF) photocatalysis with TEMPO catalysis illuminated by 623 nm red light‐emitting diodes (LEDs). Highly selective conversion of amines into imines was swiftly afforded in minutes. Specifically, the π‐conjugation of porphyrin linker leads to extensive absorption of red light; the sp2 ?C=C? double bonds linkage ensures the stability of Por‐sp2c‐COF under high concentrations of amine. Most importantly, we found that crystalline framework of Por‐sp2c‐COF is pivotal for cooperative photocatalysis with (2,2,6,6‐tetramethylpiperidin‐1‐yl)oxyl (TEMPO). This work foreshadows that the outstanding hallmarks of COFs, particularly crystallinity, could be exploited to address energy and environmental challenges by cooperative photocatalysis.  相似文献

The construction of stable covalent organic frameworks (COFs) for various applications is highly desirable. Herein, we report the synthesis of a novel two‐dimensional (2D) porphyrin‐based sp2 carbon‐conjugated COF (Por‐sp2c‐COF), which adopts an eclipsed AA stacking structure with a Brunauer—Emmett—Teller surface area of 689 m2 g?1. Owing to the C=C linkages, Por‐sp2c‐COF shows a high chemical stability under various conditions, even under harsh conditions such as 9 m HCl and 9 m NaOH solutions. Interestingly, Por‐sp2c‐COF can be used as a metal‐free heterogeneous photocatalyst for the visible‐light‐induced aerobic oxidation of amines to imines. More importantly, in comparison to imine‐linked Por‐COF, the inherent structure of Por‐sp2c‐COF equips it with several advantages as a photocatalyst, including reusability and high photocatalytic performance. This clearly demonstrates that sp2 carbon‐linked 2D COFs can provide an interesting platform for heterogeneous photocatalysis.  相似文献

The construction of 2D and 3D covalent organic frameworks (COFs) from functional moieties for desired properties has gained much attention. However, the influence of COFs dimensionality on their functionalities, which can further assist in COF design, has never been explored. Now, by selecting designed precursors and topology diagrams, 2D and 3D porphyrinic COFs (2D‐PdPor‐COF and 3D‐PdPor‐COF) are synthesized. By model building and Rietveld refinement of powder X‐ray diffraction, 2D‐PdPor‐COF crystallizes as 2D sheets while 3D‐PdPor‐COF adopts a five‐fold interpenetrated pts topology. Interestingly, compared with 2D‐PdPor‐COF, 3D‐PdPor‐COF showed interesting properties, including 1) higher CO2 adsorption capacity; 2) better photocatalytic performance; and 3) size‐selective photocatalysis. Based on this study, we believe that with the incorporation of functional moieties, the dimensionality of COFs can definitely influence their functionalities.  相似文献

We have demonstrated the efficient synthesis of Pd(II)-based 2D mesoporous covalent organic framework (COF) along with a small amount of Pd(0), which is characterized by different characterization tools. These studies suggest that this material with low bandgap energy (Eg) of 1.73 eV can exhibit great photocatalytic activity toward CO2 fixation reaction. Therefore, we have applied the Pd(II)-loaded COF as a new and effective photocatalyst for the preparation of oxazolidinone through the chemical fixation of CO2. The reaction takes place in green solvent (H2O) in absence of any base and under the sunlight at atmospheric pressure of CO2 without using any cocatalyst. The reaction does not happen in the dark. In this context, we showed that a turnover number (TON) of 3.392 × 103 can be achieved using the catalytic cycle under sunlight. The light dependency of the reaction is also checked by a control experiment via light modulation between light on and off. Furthermore, the catalyst shows efficient reusability for multiple reaction cycles, and also the heterogeneity test of the material suggests minimal active metal leaching during the catalysis reaction cycles. These results for the photocatalytic synthesis of oxazolidinone by CO2 incorporation over COF under sunlight open a new environment-friendly green pathway for the formation of oxazolidinones.  相似文献

Post-coordination design on covalent organic frameworks (COFs) is an efficient strategy for elevating the photocatalytic activity of organic moiety. However, the rigid skeletons and densely layered stacking of two-dimensional (2D) COFs cannot be flexibly adapted for specific conformations of metal complexes, thereby impairing the metal-COF cooperation. Here, we adopt a solvothermal method to immobilize nickel(II) ions into a 2,2′-bipyridine-containing 2D COF, forming a stable coordination motif. Such the complex remarkably enhances the photocatalytic performance, giving an optimized H2 evolution rate of as high as 51 300 μmol h−1 g−1, 2.5 times higher than the pristine COF. The evolved hydrogen gas can also be detected upon 700-nm light irradiation, while its analog synthesized by the traditional coordination method is photo-catalytically inert. This work provides a strategy for optimizing the metal-COF coordination system and strengthening a synergy for electronic regulation in photocatalysis.  相似文献

Here, an imine-linked-based spherical covalent organic framework (COF) was prepared at room temperature. The as-synthesized spherical COF served as an adsorbent in dispersive solid-phase extraction (dSPE), by its virtue of great surface area (1542.68 m2/g), regular distribution of pore size (2.95 nm), and excellent stability. Therefore, a simple and high-efficiency dispersive solid phase extraction method based on a spherical COF coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS) was established to determine aryl organophosphate esters in biological samples. This approach displayed favorable linearity in the range of 10.0–1000.0 ng/L (r > 0.9989), a high signal enhancement factor (58.8–181.8 folds) with low limits of detection (0.3–3.3 ng/L). Moreover, it could effectively eliminate complex matrix interference to accurately extract seven aryl organophosphate esters from mouse serum and tissue samples with spiked recoveries of 82.0%–117.4%. The as-synthesized spherical COF has been successfully applied in sample preparation. The dSPE-HPLC-MS/MS method based on a spherical COF has potential application to study the pollutants' metabolism in vivo.  相似文献

CdS nanoparticles were deposited on a highly stable, two‐dimensional (2D) covalent organic framework (COF) matrix and the hybrid was tested for photocatalytic hydrogen production. The efficiency of CdS‐COF hybrid was investigated by varying the COF content. On the introduction of just 1 wt % of COF, a dramatic tenfold increase in the overall photocatalytic activity of the hybrid was observed. Among the various hybrids synthesized, that with 10 wt % COF, named CdS‐COF (90:10), was found to exhibit a steep H2 production amounting to 3678 μmol h?1 g?1, which is significantly higher than that of bulk CdS particles (124 μmol h?1 g?1). The presence of a π‐conjugated backbone, high surface area, and occurrence of abundant 2D hetero‐interface highlight the usage of COF as an effective support for stabilizing the generated photoelectrons, thereby resulting in an efficient and high photocatalytic activity.  相似文献

Mechanistic understanding into the formation and growth of imine-linked two-dimensional (2D) covalent organic frameworks (COFs) is needed to improve their materials quality and access larger crystallite sizes, both of which limit the promise of 2D COFs and 2D polymerization techniques. Here we report a previously unknown temperature-dependent depolymerization of colloidal 2D imine-linked COFs, which offers a new means to improve their crystallinity. 2D COF colloids form at room temperature but then depolymerize when their reaction mixtures are heated to 90 °C. As the solutions are cooled back to room temperature, the 2D COFs repolymerize and crystallize with improved crystallinity and porosity, as characterized by X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy and N2 porosimetry. The evolution of COF crystallinity during the solvothermal depolymerization and repolymerization processes was characterized by in situ wide angle X-ray scattering, and the concentrations of free COF monomers as a function of temperature were quantified by variable temperature 1H NMR spectroscopy. The ability of a 2D COF to depolymerize under these conditions depends on both the identity of the COF and its initial materials quality. For one network formed at room temperature (TAPB-PDA COF), a first depolymerization process is nearly complete, and the repolymerization yields materials with dramatically enhanced crystallinity and surface area. Already recrystallized materials partially depolymerize upon heating their reaction mixtures a second time. A related 2D COF (TAPB-DMTA COF) forms initially with improved crystallinity compared to TAPB-PDA COF and then partially depolymerizes upon heating. These results suggest that both high materials quality and network-dependent properties, such as interlayer interaction strength, influence the extent to which 2D COFs resist depolymerization. These findings offer a new means to recrystallize or solvent anneal 2D COFs and may ultimately inform crystallization conditions for obtaining large-area imine-linked two-dimensional polymers from solution.

Conditions for which imine-linked 2D COF polymerizations are temperature-sensitive are identified that enable a dissolution/repolymerization process akin to molecular recrystallization.  相似文献

The design and fabrication of versatile covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with multiple properties for diverse applications is highly desirable. Here, the difunctional COFs material g–C18N3–COF was prepared and modified to be applied for efficient photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B (RhB) and pH detection, respectively. Owing to the triazine unit which was suitable for photocatalyst construction, g–C18N3–COF was sensitive to visible light and exhibited excellent photocatalysis capability toward RhB. Specially, the photocatalytic degradation of RhB with a high concentration of 300 ppm using g–C18N3–COF reached equilibrium within 6 h. Moreover, g–C18N3–COF was further grown in-situ onto the filter paper to generate a novel composite material g–C18N3–COF@Paper with bright yellow fluorescence. g–C18N3–COF@Paper could visualize the pH detection by remarkable changes in its fluorescent intensity and color in the range of pH value from 1 to 5, on account of the protonation of the nitrogen atoms from the triazine ring in g–C18N3–COF. The triazine-based sp2 carbon-conjugated g–C18N3–COF, respectively, used as photocatalyst and sensor in this work offers a new strategy to construct the versatile COFs material, facilitating the application of functional COFs in the environmental protection field.  相似文献

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) have received broad interest owing to their permanent porosity, high stability, and tunable functionalities. COFs with long-range π-conjugation and photosensitizing building blocks have been explored for sustainable photocatalysis. Herein, we report the first example of COF-based energy transfer Ni catalysis. A pyrene-based COF with sp2 carbon-conjugation was synthesized and used to coordinate NiII centers through bipyridine moieties. Under light irradiation, enhanced energy transfer in the COF facilitated the excitation of Ni centers to catalyze borylation and trifluoromethylation reactions of aryl halides. The COF showed two orders of magnitude higher efficiency in these reactions than its homogeneous control and could be recovered and reused without significant loss of catalytic activity.  相似文献

Crystalline and porous covalent organic frameworks (COFs) and metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) materials have attracted enormous attention in the field of photocatalytic H2 evolution due to their long‐range order structures, large surface areas, outstanding visible light absorbance, and tunable band gaps. In this work, we successfully integrated two‐dimensional (2D) COF with stable MOF. By covalently anchoring NH2‐UiO‐66 onto the surface of TpPa‐1‐COF, a new type of MOF/COF hybrid materials with high surface area, porous framework, and high crystallinity was synthesized. The resulting hierarchical porous hybrid materials show efficient photocatalytic H2 evolution under visible light irradiation. Especially, NH2‐UiO‐66/TpPa‐1‐COF (4:6) exhibits the maximum photocatalytic H2 evolution rate of 23.41 mmol g?1 h?1 (with the TOF of 402.36 h?1), which is approximately 20 times higher than that of the parent TpPa‐1‐COF and the best performance photocatalyst for H2 evolution among various MOF‐ and COF‐based photocatalysts.  相似文献

Chemical functionalization of covalent organic frameworks (COFs) is critical for tuning their properties and broadening their potential applications. However, the introduction of functional groups, especially to three‐dimensional (3D) COFs, still remains largely unexplored. Reported here is a general strategy for generating a 3D carboxy‐functionalized COF through postsynthetic modification of a hydroxy‐functionalized COF, and for the first time exploration of the 3D carboxy‐functionalized COF in the selective extraction of lanthanide ions. The obtained COF shows high crystallinity, good chemical stability, and large specific surface area. Furthermore, the carboxy‐functionalized COF displays high metal loading capacities together with excellent adsorption selectivity for Nd3+ over Sr2+ and Fe3+ as confirmed by the Langmuir adsorption isotherms and ideal adsorbed solution theory (IAST) calculations. This study not only provides a strategy for versatile functionalization of 3D COFs, but also opens a way to their use in environmentally related applications.  相似文献

In this work, we innovatively assembled two types of traditional photosensitizers, that is pyridine ruthenium/ferrum (Ru(bpy)32+/Fe(bpy)32+) and porphyrin/metalloporphyrin complex (2HPor/ZnPor) by covalent linkage to get a series of dual photosensitizer-based three-dimensional metal-covalent organic frameworks (3D MCOFs), which behaved strong visible light-absorbing ability, efficient electron transfer and suitable band gap for highly efficient photocatalytic hydrogen (H2) evolution. Rubpy-ZnPor COF achieved the highest H2 yield (30 338 μmol g−1 h−1) with apparent quantum efficiency (AQE) of 9.68 %@420 nm, which showed one of the best performances among all reported COF based photocatalysts. Furthermore, the in situ produced H2 was successfully tandem used in the alkyne hydrogenation with ≈99.9 % conversion efficiency. Theoretical calculations reveal that both the two photosensitizer units in MCOFs can be photoexcited and thus contribute optimal photocatalytic activity. This work develops a general strategy and shows the great potential of using multiple photosensitive materials in the field of photocatalysis.  相似文献

Two‐dimensional covalent organic frameworks (2D COFs), an emerging class of crystalline porous polymers, have been recognized as a new platform for efficient solar‐to‐hydrogen energy conversion owing to their pre‐designable structures and tailor‐made functions. Herein, we demonstrate that slight modulation of the chemical structure of a typical photoactive 2D COF (Py‐HTP‐BT‐COF) via chlorination (Py‐ClTP‐BT‐COF) and fluorination (Py‐FTP‐BT‐COF) can lead to dramatically enhanced photocatalytic H2 evolution rates (HER=177.50 μmol h?1 with a high apparent quantum efficiency (AQE) of 8.45 % for Py‐ClTP‐BT‐COF). Halogen modulation at the photoactive benzothiadiazole moiety can efficiently suppress charge recombination and significantly reduce the energy barrier associated with the formation of H intermediate species (H*) on polymer surface. Our findings provide new prospects toward design and synthesis of highly active organic photocatalysts toward solar‐to‐chemical energy conversion.  相似文献

This work presents the first polymer approach to detect metal ions using AlGaN/GaN transistor-based sensor. The sensor utilised an AlGaN/GaN high electron mobility transistor-type structure by functionalising the gate area with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) based ion selective membrane. Sensors based on this technology are portable, robust and typically highly sensitive to the target analyte; in this case Hg2+. This sensor showed a rapid and stable response when it was introduced to solutions of varying Hg2+ concentrations. At pH 2.8 in a 10−2 M KNO3 ion buffer, a detection limit below 10−8 M and a linear response range between 10−8 M-10−4 M were achieved. This detection limit is an order of magnitude lower than the reported detection limit of 10−7 M for thioglycolic acid monolayer functionalised AlGaN/GaN HEMT devices. Detection limits of approximately 10−7 M and 10−6 M in 10−2 M Cd(NO3)2 and 10−2 M Pb(NO3)2 ion buffers were also achieved, respectively. Furthermore, we show that the apparent gate response was near-Nernstian under various conditions. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) experiments confirmed that the sensing membrane is reversible after being exposed to Hg2+ solution and rinsed with deionised water. The success of this study precedes the development of this technology in selectively sensing multiple ions in water with use of the appropriate polymer based membranes on arrays of devices.  相似文献

The photocatalytic degradation of ciprofloxacin was investigated by developing a predictive mathematical model using response surface methodology and an artificial neural network. The four independent variables involve solution pH, reaction time, catalyst dose, and initial antibiotic concentration considered as factors in central composite design to observe the response in the form of antibiotic degradation. Accordingly, at an optimum antibiotic concentration of 5.02 mg/L, catalyst dose of 44.51 mg/L, solution pH of 5.04, and reaction time of 75.80 min, the photocatalysis method achieved a ciprofloxacin degradation of 88.30%. The experimental outputs were very much consistent along with the predicted output of experiments through response surface methodology (R2 = 0.9969) and artificial neural network (R2 = 0.975). The adsorption isotherm and kinetic study reveal that Langmuir isotherm and pseudo-second-order kinetic models respectively were best fitted for degradation of ciprofloxacin through photocatalysis. The finding provides a novel method for evaluating the photocatalysis process for the optimization of ciprofloxacin antibiotic removal from pharmaceutical waste using experiments and computer simulation tools.  相似文献

A metal–insulator–semiconductor (MIS) photosystem based on covalent organic framework (COF) semiconductors was designed for robust and efficient hydrogen evolution under visible‐light irradiation. A maximal H2 evolution rate of 8.42 mmol h?1 g?1 and a turnover frequency of 789.5 h?1 were achieved by using a MIS photosystem prepared by electrostatic self‐assembly of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) insulator‐capped Pt nanoparticles (NPs) with the hydrophilic imine‐linked TP‐COFs having =C=O?H?N= hydrogen‐bonding groups. The hot π‐electrons in the photoexcited n‐type TP‐COF semiconductors can be efficiently extracted and tunneled to Pt NPs across an ultrathin PVP insulating layer to reduce protons to H2. Compared to the Schottky‐type counterparts, the COF‐based MIS photosystems give a 32‐fold‐enhanced carrier efficiency, attributed to the combined enhancement of photoexcitation rate, charge separation, and oxidation rate of holes accumulated in the valence band of the TP‐COF semiconductor.  相似文献

In-plane ionic conduction over two-dimensional (2D) materials is desirable for flexible electronics. Exfoliating 2D covalent organic frameworks (COFs) towards a few layers is highly anticipated, whereas most examples remain robust via π-stacking against the interlayered dislocation. Herein, we synthesize a phosphine-amine-linked 2D COF by a nucleophilic substitution reaction of phosphazene with amines. The synthesized COF is crystalline, and stacks in an AB-staggered fashion, wherein the AB dual layers are interlocked by embedding P−Cl bonds from one to another layer, and the non-interlocked layers are readily delaminated. Therefore, in situ post-quaternization over phosphazene can improve the ionization of backbones, accompanied by layered exfoliation. The ultrathin nanosheets can decouple lithium salts for fast solid-state ion transport, achieving a high conductivity and low activation energy. Our findings explore the P−N substitution reaction for COF crystallization and demonstrate that the staggered stacking 2D COFs are readily exfoliated for designing solid electrolytes.  相似文献

The search for functionalized covalent organic framework (COF) materials is significant on account of their great promise for frontline applications in various fields. Herein, a novel and convenient tactic is developed to design and fabricate the tetrazole-functionalized COF materials with abundant nitrogen atoms, which can provide active sites, facilitating the incorporation of COFs with metal ions. In particular, a β-ketoenamine-linked COF named COF-TpDb is selected as precursor for postsynthetic modification to introduce the tetrazole moieties to coordinate with metal ions cobalt (Co2+) and palladium (Pd2+), giving two functional metal-coordinated COFs complexes COF-TpDb-TZ-Co and COF-TpDb-TZ-Pd. The resultant COF-TpDb-TZ-Co displays a higher oxygen evolution reaction activity with a lower overpotential of 390 mV at a current density of 10 mA cm?2, which is much enhanced compared with COF-TpDb-TZ. The tactic for the fabrication of tetrazole-functionalized COFs with abundant nitrogen atoms implements rational design for the construction of functional COFs and expands the promising application of metal-coordinated COF materials in electrocatalysis.  相似文献
