Crystal structures of N,N'-ethylenebis(3-nitrosalicylideneiminato)nickel(II) [Ni(3-NO2SalEn)] and N,N'-(2,3-dimethylbutane-2,3-diyl)bis(3-nitrosalicylideneiminato)nickel(II) [Ni(3-NO2SaltmEn)] were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The [Ni(3-NO2SalEn)] complex forms supramolecular associates in the crystal phase, which affects its solubility, thermogravimetric, and spectral characteristics.  相似文献

Single crystal photocrystallographic experiments and solid state Raman spectroscopy have been used to determine the low temperature, metastable structures of the nickel(ii) nitrito complexes [Ni(aep)(2)(η(1)-ONO)(2)] 1#O (aep = 1-(2-aminoethyl)piperidine), [Ni(aem)(2)(η(1)-ONO)(2)] 2#O (aem = 1-(2-aminoethyl)morpholine), and [Ni(aepy)(2)(η(1)-ONO)(2)] 3#O (aepy = 1-(2-aminoethyl)pyrrolidine and where the #O denotes the oxygen-bound nitrito metastable molecule). These linkage isomers of the equivalent nitro complexes [Ni(aep)(2)(η(1)-NO(2))(2)] 1, [Ni(aem)(2)(η(1)-NO(2))(2)] 2 and [Ni(aepy)(2)(η(1)-NO(2))(2)] 3 are formed by LED irradiation at temperatures below 120 K. The behavior of the three complexes upon irradiation is generally similar, but some subtle differences have been observed. From the crystallographic studies all three complexes 1-3 exhibit the endo-nitrito linkage isomer upon irradiation, however, for 3# (a crystal structure that contains components of both 3 and 3#O) an exo-nitrito isomer is also observed. Under conditions of 90-100 K, with blue light, the conversion percentages to the nitrito isomers, 1#O, 2#O and 3#O were 16%, 22% and 30%, respectively. At temperatures below 110 K all three nitrito isomers were stable for over four hours but while 2#O and 3#O could be detected at temperatures down to 30 K, at temperatures below 60 K the metastable structure 1#O appeared to be quenched and only the nitro isomer 1 was identified in the crystal. The solid state Raman spectra for 1#, 2# and 3# confirmed the photocrystallographic results with the nitrito isomers being identified from the O-N-O deformation vibrations.  相似文献

Three triply bridged M(II)-Dy(III) dinuclear complexes, [Ni(μ-L)(μ-OAc)Dy(NO(3))(2)] 1, [Zn(μ-L)(μ-OAc)Dy(NO(3))(2)] 2, and [Ni(μ-L)(μ-NO(3))Dy(NO(3))(2)]·2CH(3)OH 3 were prepared with a new and flexible compartmental ligand, N,N',N″-trimethyl-N,N″-bis(2-hydroxy-3-methoxy-5-methylbenzyl)diethylene triamine (H(2)L), containing N(3)O(2)-inner and O(4)-outer coordination sites. These complexes have diphenoxo/acetate (1 and 2) or diphenoxo/nitrate (3) asymmetric bridging fragments. Compounds 1 and 3 exhibit ferromagnetic interaction between Ni(2+) and Dy(3+) ions and frequency dependence of the out-of-phase (χ″(M)) alternating current (ac) susceptibility signal characteristic of single-molecule-magnet behavior. The energy barriers Δ/k(B) for compound 3 under zero and 1000 Oe applied direct current (dc) magnetic fields were estimated from the Arrhenius plots to be 7.6 and 19.1 K, respectively.  相似文献

Four new nickel(II) complexes, [Ni(2)L(2)(NO(2))(2)]·CH(2)Cl(2)·C(2)H(5)OH, 2H(2)O (1), [Ni(2)L(2)(DMF)(2)(μ-NO(2))]ClO(4)·DMF (2a), [Ni(2)L(2)(DMF)(2)(μ-NO(2))]ClO(4) (2b) and [Ni(3)L'(2)(μ(3)-NO(2))(2)(CH(2)Cl(2))](n)·1.5H(2)O (3) where HL = 2-[(3-amino-propylimino)-methyl]-phenol, H(2)L(') = 2-({3-[(2-hydroxy-benzylidene)-amino]-propylimino}-methyl)-phenol and DMF = N,N-dimethylformamide, have been synthesized starting with the precursor complex [NiL(2)]·2H(2)O, nickel(ii) perchlorate and sodium nitrite and characterized structurally and magnetically. The structural analyses reveal that in all the complexes, Ni(II) ions possess a distorted octahedral geometry. Complex 1 is a dinuclear di-μ(2)-phenoxo bridged species in which nitrite ion acts as chelating co-ligand. Complexes 2a and 2b also consist of dinuclear entities, but in these two compounds a cis-(μ-nitrito-1κO:2κN) bridge is present in addition to the di-μ(2)-phenoxo bridge. The molecular structures of 2a and 2b are equivalent; they differ only in that 2a contains an additional solvated DMF molecule. Complex 3 is formed by ligand rearrangement and is a one-dimensional polymer in which double phenoxo as well as μ-nitrito-1κO:2κN bridged trinuclear units are linked through a very rare μ(3)-nitrito-1κO:2κN:3κO' bridge. Analysis of variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility data indicates that there is a global weak antiferromagnetic interaction between the nickel(ii) ions in four complexes, with exchange parameters J of -5.26, -11.45, -10.66 and -5.99 cm(-1) for 1, 2a, 2b and 3, respectively.  相似文献

Reactions of Nitrosyl Complexes. XIII. Synthesis of Novel Di- and Trinuclear Heterobimetallic Complexes with Bridging NO Ligands By reaction of [{Cp′Fe(μ-NO)}2] with [Cp′Mn(CO)2 · (THF)] (Cp′ = μ5-C5H4Me) in THF [Cp3′Fe2Mn(μ-CO)2(μ-NO) · (μ3-NO)] 1 is formed in high yield. The reaction of [{Cp′Fe(μ-NO)}2]Na with [Cp′Mn(CO)2NO]BF4 in DME/acetone yields besides known [{Cp′Mn(CO)(NO)}2] 2 the novel complex [Cp2′FeMn(μ-NO)2NO] 3 . By interaction between [Cp′Mn(CO)2(THF)] and 3 , [Cp3′FeMn2(μ-CO)(μ-NO)2 · (μ3-NO)] 4 is formed. The complex 4 represents the hitherto unknown missing link in the series of the isoelectronic clusters [Cp3′Mn3(μ-NO)33-NO)], 1 , and [Cp3′Fe3(μ-CO)33-NO)]. Attempts to synthesize the unknown complex [(Cp′FeNO)2 · Cr(CO)5] by addition of carbene analogous Cr(CO)5 fragments to the Fe=Fe bond in [{Cp′Fe(μ-NO)}2] only led to very low yields of [Cp2′FeCr(CO)5] 5 . The new complexes were characterized by mass, NMR and IR spectra.  相似文献

Seven acetate-diphenoxo triply bridged M(II)-Ln(III) complexes (M(II) = Ni(II) and Ln(III) = Gd, Tb, Ho, Er, and Y; M(II) = Zn(II) and Ln(III) = Ho(III) and Er(III)) of formula [M(μ-L)(μ-OAc)Ln(NO(3))(2)], one nitrate-diphenoxo triply bridged Ni(II)-Tb(III) complex, [Ni(μ-L)(μ-NO(3))Tb(NO(3))(2)]·2CH(3)OH, and two diphenoxo doubly bridged Ni(II)-Ln(III) complexes (Ln(III) = Eu, Gd) of formula [Ni(H(2)O)(μ-L)Ln(NO(3))(3)]·2CH(3)OH have been prepared in one pot reaction from the compartmental ligand N,N',N"-trimethyl-N,N"-bis(2-hydroxy-3-methoxy-5-methylbenzyl)diethylenetriamine (H(2)L). Moreover, Ni(II)-Ln(III) complexes bearing benzoate or 9-anthracenecarboxylate bridging groups of formula [Ni(μ-L)(μ-BzO)Dy(NO(3))(2)] and [Ni(μ-L)(μ-9-An)Dy(9-An)(NO(3))(2)]·3CH(3)CN have also been successfully synthesized. In acetate-diphenoxo triply bridged complexes, the acetate bridging group forces the structure to be folded with an average hinge angle in the M(μ-O(2))Ln bridging fragment of ~22°, whereas nitrate-diphenoxo doubly bridged complexes and diphenoxo-doubly bridged complexes exhibit more planar structures with hinge angles of ~13° and ~2°, respectively. All Ni(II)-Ln(III) complexes exhibit ferromagnetic interactions between Ni(II) and Ln(III) ions and, in the case of the Gd(III) complexes, the J(NiGd) coupling increases weakly but significantly with the planarity of the M-(O)(2)-Gd bridging fragment and with the increase of the Ni-O-Gd angle. Density functional theory (DFT) theoretical calculations on the Ni(II)Gd(III) complexes and model compounds support these magneto-structural correlations as well as the experimental J(NiGd) values, which were found to be ~1.38 and ~2.1 cm(-1) for the folded [Ni(μ-L)(μ-OAc)Gd(NO(3))(2)] and planar [Ni(H(2)O)(μ-L)Gd(NO(3))(3)]·2CH(3)OH complexes, respectively. The Ni(II)Dy(III) complexes exhibit slow relaxation of the magnetization with Δ/k(B) energy barriers under 1000 Oe applied magnetic fields of 9.2 and 10.1 K for [Ni(μ-L)(μ-BzO)Dy(NO(3))(2)] and [Ni(μ-L)(μ-9-An)Dy(9-An)(NO(3))(2)]·3CH(3)CN, respectively.  相似文献

The size-dependent reactivity of cobalt tropocoronands [TC-n,n](2-) is manifest in the NO chemistry of the cobalt(III) nitrite complexes [Co(η(2)-NO(2))(TC-n,n)] (n = 4-6), the synthesis and characterization of which are reported for the first time. Complete conversion of [Co(η(2)-NO(2))(TC-4,4)] to the cobalt mononitrosyl [Co(NO)(TC-4,4)] occurs upon exposure to NO(g). In contrast, addition of NO(g) to [Co(η(2)-NO(2))(TC-5,5)] generates both cobalt mono- and dinitrosyl adducts, and addition of nitric oxide to [Co(η(2)-NO(2))(TC-6,6)] converts this complex to the dicobalt tetranitrosyl species [Co(2)(NO)(4)(TC-6,6)]. In the latter complex, two tetrahedral cobalt dinitrosyl units are bound to the aminotroponeiminate poles of the [TC-6,6](2-) ligand. These results significantly broaden the chemistry of cobalt tropocoronands with nitric oxide and the nitrite anion.  相似文献

The complexes [(dpdpm)Ni(2-NO3)2] (1), [(dpdpm)Ni(2-NO3)(1-NO3)(CH3CN)] (2), [(dpdpm)2Ni(1-NO3)(H2O)]NO3 (3), and [(dpdpm)2Ni(H2O)2][NO3]2 (4) (dpdpm = diphenyl(dipyrazolyl)methane, Ph2C(C3N2H3)2), have been prepared and characterized by IR and UV-vis-NIR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction studies. X-ray studies have confirmed that complexes 1-4 all adopt variously distorted octahedral structures in the solid state, the largest distortions arising from the small bite-angle of the bidentate nitrate ligand in 1 and 2. Magnetic moment measurements indicate that these solids are paramagnetic with two unpaired electrons. The solution 1H NMR data show that the paramagnetism is maintained in solution. Absorption spectra of 1-4 show three main bands in the region of 350-1000 nm representing spin allowed (d-d) transitions from the ground state 3A2g to the excited states 3T2g, 3T1g(3F), and 3T1g(3P). A weak shoulder was also detected at about 700-800 nm in most spectra, representing spin-forbidden transitions 3A2g 1Eg. A comparison of the crystal field parameters 10Dq and B for 1-4 to the corresponding values for related complexes indicated that these parameters are fairly insensitive to structural variations within this family of complexes. The 10Dq/B ratios show greater variations, but no clear correlations are apparent between 10Dq/B and such structural features as the nature of ligator atoms (N:O ratio), the bonding mode of the nitrate ligand, or the overall charge. Complexes 1 (green) and 2 (blue) interconvert as a function of temperature (solutions and solid samples), concentration of CH3CN (solutions), or CH3CN vapor pressure (solid samples).  相似文献

[Cp*Rh(eta1-NO3)(eta2-NO3)] (1) reacted with pyrazine (pyz) to give a dinuclear complex [Cp*Rh(eta1-NO3)(mu-pyz)(0.5)]2.CH2Cl2(3.CH2Cl2). Tetranuclear rectangles of the type [Cp*Rh(eta1,mu-X)(mu-L)(0.5)]4(OTf)4(4a: X = N3, L = bpy; 4b: X = N3, L = bpe; 4c: X = NCO, L = bpy) were prepared from [Cp*Rh(H2O)3](OTf)2 (2), a pseudo-halide (Me3SiN3 or Me3SiNCO), and a linear dipyridyl [4,4'-bipyridine (bpy) or trans-1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene (bpe)] by self-assembly through one-pot synthesis at room temperature. Treating complex with NH4SCN and dipyridyl led to the formation of dinuclear rods, [Cp*Rh(eta1-SCN)3]2(LH2) (5a: L = bpy; 5b: L = bpe), in which two Cp*Rh(eta1-SCN)3 units are connected by the diprotonated dipyridyl (LH2(2+)) through N(+)-H...N hydrogen bonds. Reactions of complex 2 with 1-(trimethylsilyl)imidazole (TMSIm) and dipyridyl (bpy or bpe) also produced another family of dinuclear rods [Cp*Rh(ImH)3]2.L (6a: L = bpy; 6b: L = bpe). Treating 1 and 2 with TMSIm and NH4SCN (in the absence of dipyridyl) generated a 1-D chain [Cp*Rh(ImH)3](NO3)2 (7) and a 1-D helix [Cp*Rh(eta1-SCN)2(eta1-SHCN)].H2O (8.H2O), respectively. The structures of complexes 3.CH2Cl2, 4a.H2O, 4c.2H2O, 5b, 6a, 7 and 8.H2O were determined by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

The absorption spectra, luminescence spectra, excited-state lifetimes, and electrochemical behavior of the cyclometalated [Rh(ppz)2bpy]+, [Rh(3-Cl-ppz)2(bpy)]+, [Rh(4-NO2-ppz)2(bpy)]+, [Rh(ppz)2(biq)]+ and [Rh(4-NO2-ppz)2(biq)]+ complexes (ppz?, 3-Cl-ppz?, and 4-NO2-ppz? are the ortho-C-deprotonated forms of 1-phenylpyrazole, l-(3-chlorophenyl)pyrazole and l-(4-nitrophenyl)pyrazole, respectively) have been investigated. The results obtained have been compared with those concerning the free protonated ligands and some previously studied mixed-ligand cyclometalated Rh(III) complexes. Luminescence originates from the lowest ligand-centered (LC) excited state, which involves the diimine ligands in all cases except for [Rh(4-NO2-ppz)2(bpy)]+, where it involves the ortho-metalating ligand. s. In the absorption spectra, LC and metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (MLCT) bands, involving the diimine and/or the ortho-metalating ligands, have been assigned, and correlations between spectroscopic and electrochemical data are discussed.  相似文献

Treatment of [Mo(N(2))(PMe(3))(5)] with two equivalents GaCp* (Cp* = η(5)-C(5)(CH(3))(5)) leads to the formation of cis-[Mo(GaCp*)(2)(PMe(3))(4)] (1), while AlCp* did not react with this precursor. In addition, [Ni(GaCp*)(2)(PPh(3))(2)] (2a), [Ni(AlCp*)(2)(PPh(3))(2)] (2b), [Ni(GaCp*)(2)(PCy(3))(2)] (3a), [Ni(GaCp*)(2)(PMe(3))(2)] (3b), [Ni(GaCp*)(3)(PCy(3))] (4) and [Ni(GaCp*)(PMe(3))(3)] (5) have been prepared in high yields by a direct synthesis from [Ni(COD)(2)] and stoichiometric amounts of the ligands PR(3) and ECp* (E = Al, Ga), respectively. All compounds have been fully characterized by (1)H, (13)C, and (31)P NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and single crystal X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

A spiral hexanuclear antiferromagnetic Cu(II) complex with a [Cu(3)(μ(2)-NO)(3)(μ(3)-O)] triangular core has direct metal spin coupling through diazine (μ(2)-NN), oxime (μ(2)-NO) and oxide/hydroxide (μ(3)-O) bridges. Spin frustration, expected in the triangular core, is suppressed (frustrated) by the bridging antiferromagnetic connections to the external metals, and so any residual spin in the triangle effectively cannot be stabilized.  相似文献

Addition of 1 or 2 molar equiv of Rbtp [Rbtp = 2,6-bis(5,6-dialkyl-1,2,4-triazin-3-yl)pyridine; R = Me, Pr ( n )] to UO 2(OTf) 2 in anhydrous acetonitrile gave the neutral compounds [UO 2(OTf) 2(Rbtp)] [R = Me ( 1), ( n )Pr ( 2)] and the cationic complexes [UO 2(Rbtp) 2][OTf] 2 [R = Me ( 3), Pr ( n ) ( 4)], respectively. No equilibrium between the mono and bis(Rbtp) complexes or between [UO 2(Rbtp) 2][OTf] 2 and free Rbtp in acetonitrile was detected by NMR spectroscopy. The crystal structures of 1 and 3 resemble those of their terpyridine analogues, and 3 is another example of a uranyl complex with the uranium atom in the unusual rhombohedral environment. In the presence of 1 molar equiv of Rbtp in acetonitrile, UO 2(NO 3) 2 was in equilibrium with [UO 2(NO 3) 2(Rbtp)] and the formation of the bis adduct was not observed, even with an excess of Rbtp. The X-ray crystal structures of [UO 2(NO 3) 2(Rbtp)] [R = Me ( 5), Pr ( n ) ( 6)] reveal a particular coordination geometry with seven coordinating atoms around the UO 2 fragment. The large steric crowding in the equatorial girdle forces the bidentate nitrate ligands to be almost perpendicular to the mean equatorial plane, inducing bending of the UO 2 fragment. The dinuclear oxo compound [U(CyMe 4btbp) 2(mu-O)UO 2(NO 3) 3][OTf] ( 7), which was obtained fortuitously from a 1:2:1 mixture of U(OTf) 4, CyMe 4btbp, and UO 2(NO 3) 2 [CyMe 4btbp = 6,6'-bis-(3,3,6,6-tetramethyl-cyclohexane-1,2,4-triazin-3-yl)-2,2'-bipyridine] is a very rare example of a mixed valence complex involving covalently bound U (IV) and U (VI) ions; its crystal structure also exhibits a seven coordinate uranyl moiety, with one bidentate nitrate group almost parallel to the UO 2 fragment. The distinct structural features of [UO 2(kappa (2)-NO 3) 2(Mebtp)], with its high coordination number and a noticeable bending of the UO 2 fragment, and of [UO 2(kappa (2)-NO 3)(kappa (1)-NO 3)(terpy)], which displays a classical geometry, were analyzed by Density Functional Theory, considering the bonding energy components and the molecular orbitals involved in the interaction between the uranyl, nitrate, and Mebtp or terpy moieties. The unusual geometry of the Mebtp derivative with the seven coordinating atoms around the UO 2 fragment was found very stable. In both the Mebtp and terpy complexes, the origin of the interaction appears to be primarily steric (Pauli repulsion and electrostatic); this term represents 62-63% of the total bonding energy while the orbital term contributes to about 37-38%.  相似文献

The syntheses, structures and magnetic properties of six iron complexes stabilised with the derivatised salicylaldoxime ligands Me-saoH(2) (2-hydroxyethanone oxime) and Et-saoH(2) (2-hydroxypropiophenone oxime) are discussed. The four hexanuclear and two octanuclear complexes of formulae [Fe(8)O(2)(OMe)(4)(Me-sao)(6)Br(4)(py)(4)]·2Et(2)O·MeOH (1·2Et(2)O·MeOH), [Fe(8)O(2)(OMe)(3.85)(N(3))(4.15)(Me-sao)(6)(py)(2)] (2), [Fe(6)O(2)(O(2)CPh-4-NO(2))(4)(Me-sao)(2)(OMe)(4)Cl(2)(py)(2)] (3), [Fe(6)O(2)(O(2)CPh-4-NO(2))(4)(Et-sao)(2)(OMe)(4)Cl(2)(py)(2)]·2Et(2)O·MeOH (4·2Et(2)O·MeOH), [HNEt(3)](2)[Fe(6)O(2)(Me-sao)(4)(SO(4))(2)(OMe)(4)(MeOH)(2)] (5) and [HNEt(3)](2)[Fe(6)O(2)(Et-sao)(4)(SO(4))(2)(OMe)(4)(MeOH)(2)] (6) all are built from a series of edge-sharing [Fe(4)(μ(4)-O)](10+) tetrahedra. Complexes 1 and 2 display a new μ(4)-coordination mode of the oxime ligand and join a small group of Fe-phenolic oxime complexes with nuclearity greater than six.  相似文献

Two new 3D coordination polymers based on tetranuclear clusters, {[Co(4)(ina)(5)(μ(3)-OH)(2)(H(2)O)(EtOH)]-NO(3)·2EtOH·4H(2)O}(n) (1) (Hina = isonicotinic acid) and {[Ni(4)(ina)(5)(μ(3)-OH)(2)(EtCOO)]·6EtOH·2H(2)O}(n) (2), were obtained by the solvothermal reactions from Hina and different metal salts. The [M(4)(μ(3)-OH)(2)] cores act as 7- and 9-connected nodes and are extended through ina linkers to highly-connected frameworks with vmr net for 1 and bct-9-P2(1)/c net for 2. Both the desolvated frameworks display effective gas sorption capacities of N(2) and H(2) with Langmuir surface areas of 546 and 917 m(2) g(-1) for 1 and 2, respectively. Magnetic studies show spin canting and spin-glass behaviours with T(g) = 6.0 and 15.0 K for 1 and 2, respectively. The intra- and inter-tetramer coupling interactions and cooperative magnetic correlation greatly influence the bulk magnetic behaviours in this system.  相似文献

The Ni(II)-dicarboxamido-dithiolato complexes (Et4N)2[Ni(NpPepS)] (1) and (Et4N)2[Ni(PhPepS)] (2) were used as Nid metallosynthons in the construction of higher nuclearity dinuclear Ni-Cu and Ni-Ni species to model the bimetallic Mp-Nid site of the A-cluster of acetyl coenzyme A synthase/CO dehydrogenase (ACS/CODH). Reaction of 1 with [Cu(neo)Cl] and [Ni(terpy)Cl2] in MeCN affords the dinuclear complexes (Et4N)[Cu(neo)Ni(NpPepS)] (3) and [Ni(terpy)Ni(NpPepS)] (4), respectively. Reaction of 2 with [Ni(dppe)Cl2] in MeCN yields [Ni(dppe)Ni(PhPepS)] (6). The Ni-Cu complex 3 exhibits no redox chemistry at the Nid site and no reaction with CO. In contrast, the Nip sites in 4 and 6 are readily reduced (characterized by their Ni(I) EPR spectra) and bind CO, exhibiting nuco bands at 2044 and 1997 cm-1, respectively, indicating terminal CO binding. The present Ni-Ni systems replicate the structural and chemical properties of the A-cluster site in ACS/CODH and support the presence of Ni at Mp in the catalytically active enzyme.  相似文献
