Organotin(IV) complexes of 4-(2,5-dioxo-2,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrol-1-yl)benzoic acid: Synthesis, spectral characterization and biological applications

4-(2,5-Dioxo-2,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrol-1-yl)benzoic acid and its complexes with methyl-, n-butyl-, phenyl-, benzyl- and octyl-tin have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and spectral studies. The geometry around the tin atom has been deduced from both solid and solution studies. These complexes were also tested against different bacteria and fungi to determine their toxicity. LD50 data was also calculated using the Brine Shrimp method.

Synthesis of 5-Amino-1-aryl-4-(4-aryl-1,3-thiazol-2-yl)- 2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrrol-3-ones*

Reactions of 2-(4-aryl-1,3-thiazol-2-yl)-3-oxo-4-chlorobutyronitriles with primary aromatic amines result in nucleophilic substitution of the chlorine atom by amino group, followed by intramolecular addition of the secondary amino group to the cyano group. The products are 5-amino-1-aryl-4-(4-aryl-1,3-thiazol-2-yl)- 2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrrol-3-ones which are structurally related to the known antiischemic drugs.     

Synthesis and Structural Studies of 6-（2,5-Dimethyl-1H-pyrrol-1-yl）pyridin-2-amine

6-(2,5-Dimethyl-1H-pyrrol-1-yl)pyridin-2-amine (1) was synthesized and characte-rized by elemental analyses,1H-NMR and 13C-NMR,FTIR,Uv-Vis,mass spectral studies and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.All data obtained from spectral studies support the structural properties of 1.Intermolecular N-H…N hydrogen bonds produce an R22(8) ring.An extensive three-dimensional network formed by C-H…π and N-H…π-facial hydrogen bonds is responsible for the crystal stabilization.The combination of C-H…π interactions produces R33(12),R43(19) and R44(20) rings.     

Synthesis of Dialkyl 4-Ethoxy-2,5-dihydro-1-(9,10-dihydro-9,10-dioxoanthracen-1-yl)-5-oxo-1H-pyrrole2,3-dicarboxylates

Abstract

The reaction of ethyl 9,10-dihydro-9,10-dioxoanthracen-1-yl-carbamoyl-formate with dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates in the presence of triphenylphosphine leads to dialkyl 4-ethoxy-2,5-dihydro-1-(9,10-dihydro-9,10-dioxoanthracen-1-yl)-5-oxo-1H-pyrrole-2,3-dicarboxylates in fairly good yields. A dynamic NMR effect is observed as a result of restricted rotation around the single bond linking the anthraquinone moiety and the heterocyclic ring system, which is attributed to the interaction between the pyrrole residue and the peri C═O group.     

Synthesis,X-ray structure,and stevens rearrangement of 1,1-di(prop-2-yn-1-yl)-2,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrol-1-ium bromide

1,1-Di(prop-2-yn-1-yl)-2,5-dihydro-1H-Pyrrol-1-ium bromide was obtained with interaction of 3-pyrroline with propargyl bromide and its structure was studied by X-ray analysis. It has been shown that the Stevens rearrangement of obtaining salt leads to the formation of 1-(hexa-4,5-dien-1-yn-3-yl)-2,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrol.     

1-(2-螺二芴)-3,4-二[3-(2,5-二甲基呋喃)-2,5-二氢吡咯的合成及光致变色性质的研究

将螺二芴引入二芳基乙烯分子中,设计合成了一种新型的含螺二芴呋喃芳香杂环的二芳基乙烯光致变色分子7a.用FT-IR,NMR,MS和元素分析进行结构表征;研究了7a在正己烷溶液和乙腈溶液中的光致变色反应,结果表明7a在两种溶剂中均具有良好的光致变色性能.并且7a在正己烷溶液中变色速率和转化率比在乙腈溶液中大.还研究了7a光致变色过程中荧光光谱的变化,发现关环反应后荧光被淬灭,并且7a的荧光发射峰在极性溶剂中有很大的蓝移.研究了开环态7a,关环态7b的热稳定性,发现7a的热失重温度比未用螺二芴修饰的8a提高了100℃.7b的热稳定性也比8b高.     

Reactions of 4-acyl-1-alkoxyaryl-5-aryl-3-hydroxy-2,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrol-2-ones with nucleophilic reagents

4-Acetyl-1-alkoxyaryl-5-aryl-3-hydroxy-2,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrol-2-ones reacted with amines to give 1-alkoxyaryl-5-aryl-4-(1-R-aminoethylidene)pyrrolidine-2,3-diones. Reactions of amines with 4-benzoyl-substituted analogs involve nucleophilic attack on the C³ atom in the heteroring to produce the corresponding 3-R-amino-1-alkoxyaryl-5-aryl-4-benzoyl-2,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrol-2-ones. Reactions of the title compounds with hydrazine hydrate, regardless on the substituent on C₄, afforded 4-aryl-3-methyl(phenyl)-5-[2(4)-methoxyphenyl]-4,6-dihydropyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrazol-6-ones.

Synthesis and Characterization of Novel 2-(1,2,3-Triazol-4-yl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)thiazoles and 2-(4,5-Dihydro-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-4-(1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)thiazoles

Reactions of 1-(5-methyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)ethan-1-ones and benzaldehydes in ethanol under basic conditions gave the corresponding chalcones. Reactions of the chalcones combined with thiosemicarbazide in dry ethanol containing sodium hydroxide afforded the corresponding pyrazolin-N-thioamides. Reactions of the synthesized pyrazolin-N-thioamides and several ketones (namely, ethyl 2-chloro-3-oxobutanoate, 2-bromoacetylbenzofuran, and hydrazonoyl chloride) gave the corresponding novel 2-(1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)thiazoles in high yields (77–90%). Additionally, 2-(4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-4-(1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)thiazoles were obtained in high yields (84–87%) from reactions with N-pyrazoline-thioamides and 4-bromoacetyl-1,2,3-triazoles under basic conditions. The structures of six of the newly synthesized heterocycles were confirmed by X-ray crystallography.     

Synthesis and Transformations of Ethyl (Z)-2-(2,3-dihydro-1,3-dioxo-1H-isoindol-2-yl)-3-(dimethylamino)propenoate

Ethyl (Z)-2-(2,3-dihydro-1,3-dioxo-1H-isoindol-2-yl)-3-(dimethylamino)propenoate was prepared in one step from ethyl (2,3-dihydro-1,3-dioxo-1H-isoindol-2-yl)acetate and bis(dimethylamino)-tert-butoxymethane and treated with various amines and hydrazines to afford the corresponding amino substituted products. Reactions of the titled compound with N,N'-, C,N-, and C,O'-ambident nucleophiles in refluxing acetic acid furnished the corresponding fused pyrimidinones, quinolizinones, and pyranones.     

Thermal oligomerization of methyl 4-(1,3-dioxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-isoindol-2-yl)buta-2,3-dienoate

Dimeric compounds formed as a result of thermal oligomerization of methyl 4-(1,3-dioxo-2,3- dihydro-1H-isoindol-2-yl)buta-2,3-dienoate were identified.     

Synthesis of 2-Functionalized 4-(Diethoxyphosphorylmethyl)-5-(1-bromoalkyl)furans and Their Reactions with Amines

Phosphorylation of esters and nitriles of 4-chloromethyl-5-alkylfuran-2-carboxylic acids with triethyl phosphite yields the corresponding phosphonates. These compounds are brominated with N-bromosuccinimide in carbon tetrachloride at the α-position of the alkyl radical. The resulting 2-(1-bromoethyl)-, 2-(1-bromopropyl)-, and 2-(1-bromoisobutyl)furans react with secondary amines following the scheme of nucleophilic substitution. The dehydrobromination product was isolated only in the reaction of ethyl 4-(diethoxyphosphorylmethyl)-5-(1-bromoisopropyl)furan-2-carboxylate with triethylamine, but its yield was low. Reaction of 2-(4-Arylthiazol-2-yl)-4-chloro-3-oxobutyronitriles with Secondary Aliphatic Amines

We have obtained 2-(4-arylthiazol-2-yl)-4-chloro-3-oxobutyronitriles by acylation of 4-aryl-2-cyanomethylthiazoles with -chloroacetyl chloride. We have studied their reaction with secondary aliphatic amines, leading to formation of 4-dialkylamino-2-(4-arylthiazol-2-yl)-3-oxobutyronitriles, and also intramolecular alkylation with formation of 3-aryl-7-cyano-6(5H)-oxopyrrolo[2,1-b]thiazoles. We have determined some aspects of the tautomerism of the synthesized compounds.     

Synthesis and aromatization of 2-(3,6-diaryl-2,5-dihydropyridazin-4-yl)-1H-benzimidazoles

Treatment of 1,4-diaryl-2-(1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)butane-1,4-diones with hydrazine gives the previously unknown 2-(3,6-diaryl-2,5-dihydropyridazin-4-yl)-1H-benzimidazoles which are aromatized by oxidation with nitrous acid to give 2-[3,6-diarylpyridazin-4-yl]-1H-benzimidazoles. __________ Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 2, pp. 252–259, February, 2008.     

Molecular structures of methyl 4-[(1,3-dioxo-1,3-dihydro-2H-isoindol-2-yl)methyl]-1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-carboxylate and methyl 4-[(1,3-dioxo-1,3-dihydro-2H-isoindol-2-yl)methyl]-1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-3-carboxylate

The structure of methyl 4-[(1,3-dioxo-1,3-dihydro-2H-isoindol-2-yl)methyl]-1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-carboxylate is determined by X-ray crystallography and further used to elucidate the structure of methyl 4-[(1,3-dioxo-1,3-dihydro-2H-isoindol-2-yl)methyl]-1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-3-carboxylate, using the data of homo- and heteronuclear 2D NMR correlation spectroscopy.
