In this paper, we investigate the asymptotic behavior of the extremal solutions of a difference equation and their character and prove the existence of the non-extremal solutions.

POSITIVE SOLUTIONS OF NONLINEAR FUNCTIONAL DIFFERENCE EQUATIONS

In this paper we apply a cone theoretic fixed-point theorem proved by Kras-nosel'skii to obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of positive solutions to some boundary value problems for a class of functional difference equations. We consider the case that the nonlinear term satisfies asymptotically linear growth.

一类非线性中立型差分方程解的振动性

本文我们证明了下列两个差分方程Δ（ｘｎ － ｘｎ－ ｋ）α＋ ｑｎｆ（ｘｎ－ Ｔ） ＝ ０Δ（Δｙｎ－ １）α＋ ｋ－ αｑｎｆ（ｙｎ） ＝ ０振动的等价性．其中ｑｎ０,ｋ,Ｔ为正整数,α为两奇数之商,ｆ∈Ｃ（Ｒ,Ｒ）是非减的并满足ｘｆ（ｘ）＞ ０（ｘ≠０）．获得了这些方程振动的一些充分条件．     

求解半线性抛物问题的两种二重网格算法

用线性方法对半线性抛物问题进行求解。方法依赖粗、细二重网格,针对粗解在细网格上的修正提出了两种算法,算法1是乘积倍的增长精度而算法2是平方倍的增长精度,而且重复算法1、2的最后几步可以任意阶地逼近细网格上的非线性解。数值算例验证了算法的可行性和有效性。     

PERIODIC SOLUTIONS FOR A CLASS OF DELAYED NONLINEAR DIFFERENCE EQUATIONS

With the help of a continuation theorem based on Gaines and Mawhin's coincidence degree,some sufficient conditions are established for the global existence of positive periodic solutions of a class of delayed nonlinear difference equations.     

LONG TIME ASYMPTOTIC BEHAVIOR OF SOLUTIONS OF EXPLICIT DIFFERENCE SCHEME FOR SEMILINEAR PARABOLIC EQUATIONS

In this paper we prove that the solution of explicit difference scheme for a class of semilinear parabolic equations converges to the solution of difference schemes for the corresponding nonlinear elliptic equations in H1 norm as t →∞. We get the long time asymptotic behavior of the discrete solutions which is interested in comparing to the case of continuous solutions.     

ON THE SELF-SIMILAR SOLUTIONS OF THE MAGNETO-HYDRO-DYNAMIC EQUATIONS

In this paper, we show that, for the three dimensional incompressible magnetohydro-dynamic equations, there exists only trivial backward self-similar solution in L^p（R^3） for p ≥ 3, under some smallness assumption on either the kinetic energy of the self-similar solution related to the velocity field, or the magnetic field. Second, we construct a class of global unique forward self-similar solutions to the three-dimensional MHD equations with small initial data in some sense, being homogeneous of degree -1 and belonging to some Besov space, or the Lorentz space or pseudo-measure space, as motivated by the work in [5].
